Bhagavad Gita 8
यं यं वापि स्मरन्भावं त्यजत्यन्ते कलेवरम्। तं तमेवैति कौन्तेय सदा तद्भावभावितः॥
Yam yam vaapi smaran bhaavam tyajatyante kalevaram; Tam tamevaiti kaunteya sadaa tadbhaavabhaavitah.
Whosoever at the end leaves the body, thinking of any being, to that being only does hego, O son of Kunti (Arjuna), because of his constant thought of that being!COMMENTARY: The most prominent thought of one’s life occupies the mind at the timeof death. It determines the nature of the body to be attained in the next birth.

हे कुन्ती पुत्र अर्जुन! यह मनुष्य अंतकाल में जिस-जिस भी भाव को स्मरण करता हुआ शरीर त्याग करता है, उस-उसको ही प्राप्त होता है क्योंकि वह सदा उसी भाव से भावित रहा है

ହେ କୌନ୍ତେୟ ଜୀବ ତାର ଶେଷକାଳରେ ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ଭାବ ଭାବି କଳେବର ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଥାଏ ସେ ସେହି ସେହି ଭାବ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଏ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ସେହି ସେହି ଯୋନୀକୁ ଯାଏ ।
