तच्छ्रद्दधाना मुनयो ज्ञानवैराग्ययुक्तया।
पश्यन्त्यात्मनि चात्मानं भक्त्या श्रुतगृहीतया॥१२॥

Tacchraddadhānā munayo jñānavairāgyayuktayā|
Paśyantyātmani cātmānaṁ bhaktyā śrutagṛhītayā||12||

भावार्थ - Translations

The sages (munayaḥ) who have faith (śraddadhānāḥ) in that (Supreme Principle) (tad) see (paśyanti) certainly (ca) the Paramātmā aspect (ātmānam) in their Self or Soul (ātmani) by means of devotion (bhaktyā) endowed (yuktayā) with knowledge (jñāna) (as well as) renunciation (vairāgya), (and) gained (gṛhītayā) from oral tradition (śruta)1||12||
