The Naradakritam Indra Stotram is a hymn dedicated to Indra, invoking his strength and blessings for victory and protection.
महासुरो हतः शकर नमुछिरदारुणसतवया
mahāsuro hataḥ śakra namuchirdāruṇastvayā
The great demon has been slain, O Shakra, by the fierce might of your valor.
शमबरशछ बलशछैव तथोभौ घोरविकरमौ
śambaraścha balaśchaiva tathobhau ghoravikramau
Shambara and his fierce allies have been vanquished, their terror now quelled.
शतकरतो विवरधसव सरवाञशत्रूननिŚूदय
śatakrato vivardhasva sarvāñśatrūnniŚūdaya
With a hundred-fold strength, you have opened the path, dispelling all foes.
ुततिŚठ वजरिनसमपशय देवरŚींशछ समागतान
uttiŚṭha vajrinsampaśya devarŚīṃścha samāgatān
O Indra, as you behold the gathered deities, grant us your divine vision.
महेनदर दानवानहतवा लोकासत्रातासतवया विभो
mahendra dānavānhatvā lokāstrātāstvayā vibho
By your grace, the mighty Indra, the demons have been defeated, protecting the realms of the world.
पां फेनं समासादय विŚणुतेजोपबृ^िंहितम
apāṃ phenaṃ samāsādya viŚṇutejopabṛ^iṃhitam
Gather the foam, O Vishnu, adorned with splendor, bestowing your divine light.
तवया वृ^ित्रो हतः पूरवं देवराज जगतपते
tvayā vṛ^itro hataḥ pūrvaṃ devarāja jagatpate
Through you, Vritra has been vanquished, O King of the Gods, Lord of the Universe.
तवं सरवभूतेŚु वरेणय ीडय सतवया समं विदयते नेह भूतम
tvaṃ sarvabhūteŚu vareṇya īḍya stvayā samaṃ vidyate neha bhūtam
You are the essence of all beings, O Supreme One, who bestows blessings upon the world.
तवया धारयनते सरवभूतानि शकर तवं देवानां महिमानं छकरथ
tvayā dhāryante sarvabhūtāni śakra tvaṃ devānāṃ mahimānaṃ chakartha
By your grace, all beings are sustained, O Shakra, you are the glory of the divine.
पाहि देवानसलोकांशछ महेनदर बलमापनुहि
pāhi devānsalokāṃścha mahendra balamāpnuhi
Protect us, O Lords of the heavens, and bestow upon us the strength of the mighty Indra.
ेवं संसतूयमानशछ सो.वरधत शनैः शनैः
evaṃ saṃstūyamānaścha so.avardhata śanaiḥ śanaiḥ
Thus praised, may we be uplifted, slowly and steadily, by your divine grace.
