jagatpratiṣṭhāhēturyaḥ dharmaḥ śrutyantakīrtitaḥ
He who is the cause of the establishment of the world, that Dharma which is sung in the scriptures,
tasyāpi śāstā yō dēvastaṁ sadā samupāśrayē
I always take refuge in that deity, the Lord of Dharma.
śrīśaṅkarāryairhi śivāvatāraiḥ dharmapracārāya samastakālē
By the great sages, who are incarnations of Shiva,
susthāpitaṁ śr̥ṅgamahīdhravaryē pīṭhaṁ yatīndrāḥ paribhūṣayanti
For the propagation of Dharma at all times,
tēṣvēva karmandivarēṣu vidyā- -tapōdhanēṣu prathitānubhāvaḥ
The sacred seat is well established on the great mountain of Shringa.
vidyāsutīrthō:'bhinavō:'dya yōgī śāstāramālōkayituṁ pratasthē
The ascetics adorn it with their presence.
dharmasya gōptā yatipuṅgavō:'yaṁ dharmasya śāstāramavaikṣatēti
In those, the actions and knowledge of the learned and ascetics,
yuktaṁ tadētadyubhayōstayōrhi sammēlanaṁ lōkahitāya nūnam
The renowned yogi, who is the son of knowledge and pilgrimage,
kālē:'smin kalimaladūṣitē:'pi dharmaḥ śrautō:'yaṁ na khalu vilōpamāpa tatra
Set out to behold the Lord of Dharma.
hētuḥ khalvayamiha nūnamēva nā:'nyaḥ śāstā:'stē sakalajanaikavandyapādaḥ
The protectors of Dharma, the great ascetics,
jñānaṁ ṣaḍāsyavaratātakr̥paikalabhyaṁ mōkṣastu tārkṣyavaravāhadayaikalabhyaḥ
Indeed, they have looked upon the Lord of Dharma.
jñānaṁ ca mōkṣa ubhayaṁ tu vinā śramēṇa prāpyaṁ janaiḥ hariharātmajasatprasādāt
It is fitting that this meeting of both is for the welfare of the world.
yamaniyamādisamētaiḥ yatacittairyōgibhiḥ sadā dhyēyam
In this age, even when Dharma is tainted by sin,
śāstāraṁ hr̥di kalayē dhātāraṁ sarvalōkasya
This Dharma will not be lost, for surely,
śabaragirinivāsaḥ sarvalōkaikapūjyaḥ natajanasukhakārī namrahr̥ttāpahārī
There is no other cause here.
tridaśaditijasēvyaḥ svargamōkṣapradātā hariharasutadēvaḥ santataṁ śaṁ tanōtu
The Lord is worshipped by all beings.
