जय भैरव देवा, प्रभु जय भैरव देवा । जय काली और गौर देवी कृत सेवा ॥
jaya bhairava devā, prabhu jaya bhairava devā| jaya kālī aura gaura devī kṛta sevā||
हे भैरव देव, आपकी जय हो! आप प्रभु हैं और हम आपकी वंदना करते हैं। आप ऐसे देव हैं जिनकी सेवा स्वयं काली और गौरी जैसी देवियाँ भी करती हैं, जो आपकी महानता और शक्ति को दर्शाता है। Hail, Lord Bhairav! We bow down to you, the divine master. You are the deity whom even goddesses like Kali and Gauri serve, signifying your immense power and supreme stature among the gods.
॥ जय भैरव देवा...॥ तुम्ही पाप उद्धारक दुःख सिन्धु तारक ।
|| jaya bhairava devā...|| tumhī pāpa uddhāraka duḥkha sindhu tāraka|
यह पहली पंक्ति की पुनरावृत्ति है, जो भैरव देव की जयकार करती है। हे प्रभु, आप पापों का उद्धार करने वाले और दुखों के सागर से पार लगाने वाले हैं। आपकी कृपा से भक्त सभी कष्टों से मुक्त हो जाते हैं। Repetition of verse 1. O Lord Bhairav, you are the redeemer of sins and the one who ferries devotees across the ocean of sorrow. Your grace liberates devotees from all kinds of suffering.
भक्तो के सुख कारक भीषण वपु धारक ॥
bhakto ke sukha kāraka bhīṣaṇa vapu dhāraka||
आप अपने भक्तों को सुख प्रदान करने वाले हैं और उनका कल्याण करते हैं। आपका स्वरूप यद्यपि भीषण और तेजस्वी है, फिर भी आप अपने भक्तों के लिए अत्यंत कृपालु हैं। You are the bestower of happiness upon your devotees and ensure their well-being. Although your form is formidable and awe-inspiring, you are exceedingly compassionate towards those who worship you.
वाहन श्वान विराजत कर त्रिशूल धारी । महिमा अमित तुम्हारी जय जय भयहारी ॥
vāhana śvāna virājata kara triśūla dhārī| mahimā amita tumhārī jaya jaya bhayahārī||
आपका वाहन श्वान (कुत्ता) है और आप अपने हाथों में त्रिशूल धारण करते हैं। आपकी महिमा अपरंपार है और आप सभी प्रकार के भय को हरने वाले हैं। आपकी जय हो, हे भयहारक! Your divine vehicle is a dog, and you hold a trident in your hands. Your glory is boundless, and you are the remover of all fears. Hail to you, the dispeller of dread!
तुम बिन देवा सेवा सफल नहीं होवे । चौमुख दीपक दर्शन दुःख खोवे ॥
tuma bina devā sevā saphala nahīṁ hove| caumukha dīpaka darśana duḥkha khove||
हे देव, आपकी सेवा के बिना कोई भी कार्य सफल नहीं होता। आपके चौमुख दीपक के दर्शन मात्र से सभी दुख दूर हो जाते हैं और जीवन में शांति आती है। O Lord, without your service and blessings, no endeavor can be successful. Merely beholding the four-faced lamp lit in your honor dispels all sorrows and brings peace into one's life.
तेल चटकी दधि मिश्रित भाषावाली तेरी । कृपा कीजिये भैरव, करिए नहीं देरी ॥
tela caṭakī dadhi miśrita bhāṣāvālī terī| kṛpā kījiye bhairava, karie nahīṁ derī||
हे भैरव देव! आपको तेल, दही और अन्य मिश्रित वस्तुएं अर्पित की जाती हैं, जो आपकी प्रिय भाषा के समान हैं। हम आपसे प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आप हम पर शीघ्र कृपा करें और हमारी पुकार सुनने में ज़रा भी देर न करें। O Lord Bhairav! We offer you oil, curd, and other mixed ingredients, which are like your beloved language. We earnestly pray that you bestow your grace upon us swiftly and do not delay in hearing our pleas.
पाँव घुँघरू बाजत अरु डमरू दम्कावत । बटुकनाथ बन बालक जल मन हरषावत ॥
pām̐va ghum̐gharū bājata aru ḍamarū damkāvata| baṭukanātha bana bālaka jala mana haraṣāvata||
आपके चरणों में घुंघरू बज रहे हैं और आप डमरू बजाकर ध्वनि उत्पन्न कर रहे हैं। आप बटुकनाथ के रूप में एक बालक की तरह प्रकट होते हैं, जो भक्तों के मन को आनंदित करता है और हृदय में प्रसन्नता भर देता है। Anklets jingle on your feet, and you play the damaru, creating a vibrant sound. You appear in the form of Batuknath, like a child, who delights the minds of devotees and fills their hearts with joy.
बटुकनाथ जी की आरती जो कोई नर गावे । कहे धरनी धर नर मनवांछित फल पावे ॥
baṭukanātha jī kī āratī jo koī nara gāve| kahe dharanī dhara nara manavāṁchita phala pāve||
धरनी धर कहते हैं कि जो कोई भी भक्त बटुकनाथ जी की यह आरती श्रद्धापूर्वक गाता है, उसे निश्चित रूप से अपने मनवांछित फल की प्राप्ति होती है। यह आरती गाने से सभी मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती हैं। Dharani Dhar states that any devotee who devoutly sings this Aarti of Batuknath Ji surely attains the desired fruits of their heart. By singing this Aarti, all wishes are fulfilled.
