हे शिव! आप सत्य हैं, सनातन हैं, और अत्यंत सुंदर स्वरूप वाले हैं। आप ही सबके स्वामी हैं, जो इस संपूर्ण सृष्टि के नियंत्रक हैं। आप अविकारी, अविनाशी, अजन्मा और सबके अंतर्यामी हैं, जो हर जीव के भीतर निवास करते हैं। O Shiva! You are the embodiment of truth, eternal, and exquisitely beautiful. You are the master of all, the supreme controller of this entire creation. You are immutable, indestructible, unborn, and the indwelling spirit within all beings.

You are indivisible, the master of all arts, pure, formless, beyond the perception of the senses, and unwavering. You are the remover of all sins, the one who vanquishes all evils.

You are the wielder of the Trinity, manifesting as Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara. You are the creator, the sustainer, the preserver, and the destroyer of the universe. This signifies that you are the sole controller of the entire cosmos.

You are our inspirer and the 'Audhardani', meaning one who bestows everything effortlessly. You witness everything as a detached observer, and though ultimately a non-doer, You assume the pride of a doer, which is part of Your divine play.

आप कभी मणिमय भवनों में निवास करने वाले, अति भोगी और रागी के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, जो संसार के सुखों का अनुभव करते हैं। वहीं दूसरी ओर, आप श्मशान में विचरण करने वाले योगी और वैरागी भी हैं, जो संसार से विरक्त होकर तपस्या में लीन रहते हैं। यह आपके विरोधाभासी स्वरूपों को दर्शाता है। At times, You manifest as one residing in jeweled palaces, indulging in great pleasures and attachments, experiencing worldly joys. On the other hand, You are also the Yogi and ascetic who roams in cremation grounds, detached from the world and absorbed in penance. This highlights Your paradoxical nature.

हे प्रभु! आप निर्गुण भी हैं और सगुण भी, अर्थात् आप निराकार भी हैं और साकार रूप में भी प्रकट होते हैं। आप निरंजन हैं, दोषरहित और पवित्र हैं, तथा संपूर्ण जगत् में व्याप्त होकर उसे प्रकाशित करते हैं। हे हर! आप काल के भी नियंत्रक हैं, कालरूप हैं, फिर भी आप कालातीत हैं, समय की सीमाओं से परे हैं। O Lord! You are both without attributes (Nirguna) and with attributes (Saguna), meaning you are formless yet manifest in various forms. You are immaculate (Niranjan), faultless and pure, pervading and illuminating the entire world. O Hara! You are the embodiment of time, controlling it, yet you are beyond time (Kalatit), transcending its limitations.

हे प्रभु! आप सत्-चित्-आनंद स्वरूप हैं, अर्थात् आप सत्य, चेतना और परमानंद के पुंज हैं। आप रसमय और करुणामय हैं, प्रेम के सागर हैं और सभी पर करुणा बरसाते हैं। आप धाता हैं, समस्त सृष्टि के पालक और आधार हैं। आप प्रेम-सुधा-निधि हैं, प्रेम रूपी अमृत के भंडार हैं, हमारे प्रियतम हैं और अखिल विश्व के त्राता, संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड के रक्षक हैं। O Lord! You are the embodiment of Sat-Chit-Ananda, meaning you are the essence of truth, consciousness, and supreme bliss. You are full of rasa (divine essence) and compassion, an ocean of love, showering mercy upon all. You are the sustainer (Dhata), the support and maintainer of all creation. You are the treasure of the nectar of love (Prema-Sudha-Nidhi), our beloved, and the savior of the entire universe (Akhil Vishwa-Trata).

हे दयामय महादेव! हम अत्यंत दीन और असहाय हैं। कृपा करके हमें अपने चरणों की शरण प्रदान करें। हमारी बुद्धि को सभी प्रकार से निर्मल और शुद्ध कर दीजिए, और हमें अपना बनाकर अपनी सेवा में लीजिये। O merciful Mahadev! We are extremely humble and helpless. Please grant us refuge at your divine feet. Purify our intellect in every way, making it pristine and clear, and accept us as your own, engaging us in your service.
