शरीपरमातमने नमः
śrīparamātmane namaḥ
Salutations to the Supreme Being, the embodiment of all.
थ ृ^िणगरसतसय ृ^िणविमोछनारथं ङगारकसतोत्रम
atha ṛ^iṇagrastasya ṛ^iṇavimochanārthaṃ aṅgārakastotram
For the liberation from the bonds of worldly existence, I present this stotra of Angaraka.
सकनद ुवाछ
skanda uvācha
Thus spoke the sage.
ृ^िणगरसतनराणां तु ृ^िणमुकतिः कथं भवेत
ṛ^iṇagrastanarāṇāṃ tu ṛ^iṇamuktiḥ kathaṃ bhavet
How can one attain liberation from the bonds of worldly existence?
बरहमोवाछ
brahmovācha
Thus spoke Brahma.
वकŚये.हं सरवलोकानां हितारथं हितकामदम
vakŚye.ahaṃ sarvalokānāṃ hitārthaṃ hitakāmadam
I shall proclaim the benefits for all beings, the wish-fulfilling gem of desires.
सय शरी ङगारकमहामनत्रसय गौतम ृ^िŚिः
asya śrī aṅgārakamahāmantrasya gautama ṛ^iŚiḥ
O Angaraka, the great benefactor, the sage Gautama.
नुŚटुपCहनदः
anuŚṭupChandaḥ
In the meter of Anushtubh.
ङगारको देवता
aṅgārako devatā
Angaraka, the divine deity.
मम ृ^िणविमोछनारथे ङगारकमनत्रजपे विनियोगः
mama ṛ^iṇavimochanārthe aṅgārakamantrajape viniyogaḥ
For my liberation from worldly bonds, I dedicate this mantra of Angaraka.
रकतमालयामबरधरः शूलशकतिगदाधरः
raktamālyāmbaradharaḥ śūlaśaktigadādharaḥ
He who holds the red mountain, wielding the trident and mace.
छतुरभुजो मेŚगतो वरदशछ धरासुतः
chaturbhujo meŚagato varadaścha dharāsutaḥ
With four arms, he is the giver of boons, the son of the Earth.
मङगलो भूमिपुत्रशछ ृ^िणहरता धनपरदः
maṅgalo bhūmiputraścha ṛ^iṇahartā dhanapradaḥ
Auspicious is he, the son of the Earth, who removes all obstacles and grants wealth.
सथिरासनो महाकायो सरवकामफलपरदः
sthirāsano mahākāyo sarvakāmaphalapradaḥ
Seated firmly, of great form, he bestows the fruits of all desires.
लोहितो लोहिताकŚशछ सामगानां कृ^िपाकरः
lohito lohitākŚaścha sāmagānāṃ kṛ^ipākaraḥ
He who is red, the red one, the granter of prosperity to the singers.
धरातमजः कुजो भौमो भूमिदो भूमिननदनः
dharātmajaḥ kujo bhaumo bhūmido bhūminandanaḥ
Born of the Earth, he is Kuja, the lord of the Earth, the son of the Earth.
ङगारको यमशछैव सरवरोगापहारकः
aṅgārako yamaśchaiva sarvarogāpahārakaḥ
Angaraka, the lord of death, the remover of all ailments.
सृ^िŚटेः करता छ हरता छ सरवदेशैशछ पूजितः
sṛ^iŚṭeḥ kartā cha hartā cha sarvadeśaiścha pūjitaḥ
He is the creator and the remover, worshipped in all realms.
ेतानि कुजनामानि नितयं यः परयतः पठेत
etāni kujanāmāni nityaṃ yaḥ prayataḥ paṭhet
Whoever recites these names of Kuja daily with devotion,
ृ^िणं न जायते तसय शरियं परापनोतयसंशयः
ṛ^iṇaṃ na jāyate tasya śriyaṃ prāpnotyasaṃśayaḥ
Shall not suffer from worldly bonds, and shall attain the ultimate goal without doubt.
ङगारक महीपुत्र भगवन भकतवतसल
aṅgāraka mahīputra bhagavan bhaktavatsala
O Angaraka, son of the Earth, beloved of devotees,
नमो.सतु ते ममाशेŚं ृ^िणमाशु विनाशय
namo.astu te mamāśeŚaṃ ṛ^iṇamāśu vināśaya
I bow to you, may you swiftly remove my afflictions.
रकतगनधैशछ पुŚपैशछ धूपदीपैरगुडोदनैः
raktagandhaiścha puŚpaiścha dhūpadīpairguḍodanaiḥ
With offerings of fragrant flowers, incense, and lamps,
मङगलं पूजयितवा तु मङगलाहनि सरवदा
maṅgalaṃ pūjayitvā tu maṅgalāhani sarvadā
I worship you, O Auspicious One, always and forever.
ेकविंशति नामानि पठितवा तु तदनतिके
ekaviṃśati nāmāni paṭhitvā tu tadantike
By reciting your twenty-one names, one shall attain great blessings.
ृ^िणरेखा परकरतवया ङगारेण तदगरतः
ṛ^iṇarekhā prakartavyā aṅgāreṇa tadagrataḥ
With your grace, the bonds of suffering will be severed.
ताशछ परमारजयेननितयं वामपादेन संसमरन
tāścha pramārjayennityaṃ vāmapādena saṃsmaran
By remembering you with devotion, O Left-footed One,
ेवं कृ^िते न सनदेहः ृ^िणानमुकतः सुखी भवेत
evaṃ kṛ^ite na sandehaḥ ṛ^iṇānmuktaḥ sukhī bhavet
One shall surely become free from all troubles and find joy.
महतीं शरियमापनोति धनदेन समो भवेत
mahatīṃ śriyamāpnoti dhanadena samo bhavet
One who worships you attains great wealth and prosperity.
भूमिं छ लभते विदवान पुत्रानायुशछ विनदति
bhūmiṃ cha labhate vidvān putrānāyuścha vindati
The wise shall gain land, sons, and long life, rejoicing in abundance.

नमसते.सतु महाभाग ृ^िणमाशु विनाशय
namaste.astu mahābhāga ṛ^iṇamāśu vināśaya
I bow to you, O Great One, may you swiftly remove my afflictions.
भूमिपुत्र महातेजः सवेदोदभव पिनाकिनः
bhūmiputra mahātejaḥ svedodbhava pinākinaḥ
O son of the Earth, of great radiance, born of the bow,
ृ^िणारथसतवां परपननो.समि गृ^िहाणारघयं नमो.सतु ते
ṛ^iṇārthastvāṃ prapanno.asmi gṛ^ihāṇārghyaṃ namo.astu te
To those seeking relief from suffering, I offer my humble salutations.
िति ृ^िणमोछन ङगारकसतोत्रं समपूरणम
