With a thousand eyes, may I meditate upon Shakra, the wielder of the thunderbolt.
शरी गनिसतुतिः - ागनेय (षोुथेसत) सपतारछिŚं छ बिभराणमकŚमालां कमणडलुम
śrī agnistutiḥ - āgneya (ṣoutheast) saptārchiŚaṃ cha bibhrāṇamakŚamālāṃ kamaṇḍalum
O Lord, who rides the mighty Garuda, may I praise you, the one who bears the divine garland and the sacred pot.
जवालमालाकुलं रकतं शकतिहसतं छकासतम
jvālamālākulaṃ raktaṃ śaktihastaṃ chakāsatam
Surrounded by the fiery wreath, radiant and fierce, may I honor you, the embodiment of power.
शरी यमसतुतिः - दकŚिण (षोुथ) कृ^ितानतं महिŚारूढं दणडहसतं भयानकम
śrī yamastutiḥ - dakŚiṇa (ṣouth) kṛ^itāntaṃ mahiŚārūḍhaṃ daṇḍahastaṃ bhayānakam
O Lord of Death, who rides the fearsome buffalo, may I bow to you, the terrifying one of the South.
शरी निरृ^ितयसतुतिः - नैरृ^ितय (षोुथवेसत) रकतनेत्रं शवारूढं नीलोतपलदलपरभम
śrī nirṛ^ityastutiḥ - nairṛ^itya (ṣouthvest) raktanetraṃ śavārūḍhaṃ nīlotpaladalaprabham
O Lord of the Netherworld, with blood-red eyes and a fearsome form, may I worship you, the one who rides the black lotus.
कृ^िपाणपाणिमसरौघं पिबनतं राकŚसेशवरम
kṛ^ipāṇapāṇimasraughaṃ pibantaṃ rākŚaseśvaram
With a hand that wields the noose, may I honor you, the lord of the Rakshasas, who drinks the essence of life.
शरी वरुणसतुतिः - पशछिम (Wेसत) नागपाशधरं हृ^िŚटं रकतौघदयुतिविगरहम
śrī varuṇastutiḥ - paśchima (West) nāgapāśadharaṃ hṛ^iŚṭaṃ raktaughadyutivigraham
O Lord Varuna, who holds the serpent noose, may I meditate upon you, the radiant one of the Western direction.
शरी वायुसतुतिः - वायवय (णोरथवेसत) ापीतं हरितछCहायं विलोलधवजधारिणम
śrī vāyustutiḥ - vāyavya (ṇorthvest) āpītaṃ haritachChāyaṃ viloladhvajadhāriṇam
O Lord of the Winds, who rides the swift breeze, may I praise you, the one with the greenish hue and the fluttering banner.
पराणभूतं छ भूतानां हरिणसथं समीरणम
prāṇabhūtaṃ cha bhūtānāṃ hariṇasthaṃ samīraṇam
The life force of all beings, the swift-moving breeze, may I honor you, the essence of vitality.
शरी कुबेरसतुतिः - ुततर (णोरथ) कुबेरं मनुजासीनं सगरवं गरवविगरहम
śrī kuberastutiḥ - uttara (ṇorth) kuberaṃ manujāsīnaṃ sagarvaṃ garvavigraham
O Kubera, seated among men, may I honor you, the lord of wealth, who brings glory to the ocean.
सवरणछCहायं गदाहसतमुततराधिपतिं समरेत
svarṇachChāyaṃ gadāhastamuttarādhipatiṃ smaret
With a shining mace, may I honor you, the lord of the North, the great king of the battlefield.
शरी ीशानसतुतिः - ीशानय (णोरथेसत) वृ^िŚभारूढं त्रिशूलं वयालधारिणम
śrī īśānastutiḥ - īśānya (ṇortheast) vṛ^iŚabhārūḍhaṃ triśūlaṃ vyāladhāriṇam
O Ishana, who rides the bull, may I honor you, the one with the trident, the lord of the directions.
शरछछनदरसमाकारं त्रिनेत्रं नीलकणठकम
śarachchandrasamākāraṃ trinetraṃ nīlakaṇṭhakam
With a form like the rising sun, three-eyed and with a blue throat, may I worship you, the divine.
िति Śटदिकपालकसतोत्रं समपूरणम
iti aŚṭadikpālakastotraṃ sampūrṇam
