Brahmaadi Deva Krita Mahadeva Stuti

देवा ऊचुः –
dēvā ūcuḥ – namō bhavāya śarvāya rudrāya varadāya ca
Salutations to Bhava, to Sharva, to Rudra, and to the granter of boons,
नमो भवाय शर्वाय रुद्राय वरदाय च ।
paśūnāṁ patayē nityamugrāya ca kapardinē
To the lord of animals, always fierce, and to the one with matted hair.
पशूनां पतये नित्यमुग्राय च कपर्दिने ॥ १ ॥
mahādēvāya bhīmāya tryambakāya viśāmpatē
To Mahadeva, to the terrible one, to the three-eyed, and to the lord of the universe,
महादेवाय भीमाय त्र्यम्बकाय विशाम्पते ।
īśvarāya bhagaghnāya namastvandhakaghātinē
To Ishvara, to the destroyer of the demon Andhaka, I bow.
ईश्वराय भगघ्नाय नमस्त्वन्धकघातिने ॥ २ ॥
nīlagrīvāya bhīmāya vēdhasāṁ patayē namaḥ
To the blue-throated, to the terrible one, to the lord of the Vedas, I offer my respects,
नीलग्रीवाय भीमाय वेधसां पतये नमः ।
kumāraśatruvighnāya kumārajananāya ca
To the one who removes the obstacles of the son of Kumaras and to the mother of Kumaras.
कुमारशत्रुविघ्नाय कुमारजननाय च ॥ ३ ॥
vilōhitāya dhūmrāya dharāya krathanāya ca
To the red one, to the smoky one, to the earth, and to the one who is the creator, I bow.
विलोहिताय धूम्राय धराय क्रथनाय च ।
nityaṁ nīlaśikhaṇḍāya śūlinē divyaśālinē
Always to the blue-hued one with a crest, to the one wielding a trident, and to the divine one,
नित्यं नीलशिखण्डाय शूलिने दिव्यशालिने ॥ ४ ॥
uragāya sunētrāya hiraṇyavasurētasē
To the serpent, to the one with a beautiful face, and to the one with golden splendor, I bow.
उरगाय सुनेत्राय हिरण्यवसुरेतसे ।
acintyāyāmbikābhartrē sarvadēvastutāya ca
To the inconceivable, to the consort of Ambika, and to the one praised by all gods, I bow.
अचिन्त्यायाम्बिकाभर्त्रे सर्वदेवस्तुताय च ॥ ५ ॥
vr̥ṣadhvajāya caṇḍāya jaṭinē brahmacāriṇē
To the one with the bull flag, to the fierce one, to the ascetic, and to the celibate, I bow.
वृषध्वजाय चण्डाय जटिने ब्रह्मचारिणे ।
tapyamānāya salilē brahmaṇyāyājitāya ca
To the one who is being worshipped in water, to the one who is worshipped by Brahman, I bow.
तप्यमानाय सलिले ब्रह्मण्यायाजिताय च ॥ ६ ॥
viśvātmanē viśvasr̥jē viśvamāvr̥tya tiṣṭhatē
To the universal soul, to the creator of the universe, who pervades all, I bow.
विश्वात्मने विश्वसृजे विश्वमावृत्य तिष्ठते ।
namō:'stu divyasēvyāya prabhavē sarvasampadām
Salutations to the one who is divinely served, to the source of all wealth,
नमोऽस्तु दिव्यसेव्याय प्रभवे सर्वसम्पदाम् ॥ ७ ॥
abhigamyāya kāmyāya savyāpārāya sarvadā
To the one who is approachable, to the one who fulfills desires, and to the one who is always present.
अभिगम्याय काम्याय सव्यापाराय सर्वदा ।
bhaktānukampinē tubhyaṁ diśa mē janmanō gatim
To you, who is compassionate towards devotees, grant me the direction of my birth.
भक्तानुकम्पिने तुभ्यं दिश मे जन्मनो गतिम् ॥ ८ ॥
iti śrīmatsyapurāṇē brahmādidēvakr̥ta mahādēvastutiḥ
