indro devatamo.anīlaḥ suparṇaḥ pūrṇabandhuraḥ
O Lord, the blue-hued deity, the supreme embodiment of all, full of divine essence.
विशवसय दमिता विशवशयेशानो विशवछरŚणिः
viśvasya damitā viśvaśyeśāno viśvacharŚaṇiḥ
You who subdue the universe, the lord of all creation, the one who traverses the cosmos.
विशवानि छकरिरविशवसमादुततरो विशवभूरबृ^िहन
viśvāni chakrirviśvasmāduttaro viśvabhūrbṛ^ihan
You who are the essence of all beings, the source of all existence, the vast expanse of the universe.
छेकितानो वरतमानः सवधया.छकरया परः
chekitāno vartamānaḥ svadhayā.achakrayā paraḥ
O Protector, ever-present, you who wield the divine wheel of creation.
विशवानरो विशवरूपो विशवायुरविशवतसपृ^िथुः
viśvānaro viśvarūpo viśvāyurviśvataspṛ^ithuḥ
You who are the universal being, the form of all, the breath of existence.
विशवकरमा विशवदेवो वहशवतो धीरनिŚकृ^ितः
viśvakarmā viśvadevo vhśvato dhīraniŚkṛ^itaḥ
You who perform all actions, the divine among the deities, the steadfast and unyielding.
त्रिŚुजातसतिगमशृ^िङगो देवो बरधनो.रुŚशछरन
triŚujātastigmaśṛ^iṅgo devo bradhno.aruŚaścharan
With the three-fold sacred sounds, O divine one, you who bear the weight of the cosmos.
रुछानः परमो विदवान रुछो रोछयननजः
ruchānaḥ paramo vidvān arucho rochayannajaḥ
Radiant and wise, you who illuminate the path of knowledge.
जयेŚठो जनानां वृ^ीŚभो जयोतिरजयेŚठं सहोमहि
jyeŚṭho janānāṃ vṛ^īŚabho jyotirjyeŚṭhaṃ sahomahi
O supreme victory, the essence of all beings, may we unite in your glorious light.
भिकरतूनां दमिता धरता विशवसय करमणः
abhikratūnāṃ damitā dhartā viśvasya karmaṇaḥ
You who subdue the restless, the bearer of the universe, the doer of righteous deeds.
धरता धनानं धातृ^ीणां धाता धिरो धियेŚितः
dhartā dhanānaṃ dhātṛ^īṇāṃ dhātā dhiro dhiyeŚitaḥ
You who sustain wealth, the creator of all, the wise and the enlightened.
यज्ञसय साधनो यज्ञो यज्ञवाहा पामजः
yajñasya sādhano yajño yajñavāhā apāmajaḥ
You who are the essence of sacrifice, the very act of worship, the divine offering.
यज्ञं जुŚाणो यजतो युकतगरावणो.वितेŚिरः
yajñaṃ juŚāṇo yajato yuktagrāvṇo.aviteŚiraḥ
You who are the essence of all rituals, the one who is worshipped, the giver of abundance.
सुवजजरशछयवनो योदधा यशसो यज्ञियो यहुः
suvajjraśchyavano yoddhā yaśaso yajñiyo yahuḥ
O glorious one, the embodiment of fame, the divine sacrificer, bestowing blessings.
वयाता दुरमतीनां हनता पापसय रकŚसः
avayātā durmatīnāṃ hantā pāpasya rakŚasaḥ
You who vanquish the wicked, the destroyer of sin, the slayer of demons.
कृ^िशसय छोदिता कृ^ित्रुः कृ^ितबरहमा धृ^ितवरतः
kṛ^iśasya choditā kṛ^itruḥ kṛ^itabrahmā dhṛ^itavrataḥ
You who inspire the diligent, the creator of the universe, the steadfast in virtue.
धृ^िणवोजा विताधीनां धनानां सञजिदछयुतः
dhṛ^iṇavojā avitādhīnāṃ dhanānāṃ sañjidachyutaḥ
You who are the essence of wealth, the source of all prosperity, the one who grants fulfillment.
विहनता तमससतवŚटा तनूपासतरुतातुरः
vihantā tamasastvaŚṭā tanūpāstarutāturaḥ
You who dispel the darkness, the light of all beings, the protector of the fragile.
तवेŚनृ^िमणसतवेŚसंदृ^िक तुराŚाडपराजितः
tveŚanṛ^imṇastveŚsaṃdṛ^ik turāŚāḍaparājitaḥ
In your divine form, O Lord, you who conquer the challenges of existence.
तुगयरावृ^िधोदसमतमः तुविकूरमितमसतुजः
tugyrāvṛ^idhodasmatamaḥ tuvikūrmitamastujaḥ
O Lord of the universe, you who transcend all darkness, may we find refuge in your light.
वृ^िŚपरभरमा विशवानि विदवानादङकŚरदिरसतवाः
vṛ^iŚaprabharmā viśvāni vidvānādaṅkŚardirastavāḥ
O Lord, who bears the weight of the universe, you are the wise one, the essence of all that exists.
मनदरो मतीनां वृ^ीŚभो मरुतवानमरुतामृ^िŚिः
mandro matīnāṃ vṛ^īŚabho marutvānmarutāmṛ^iŚiḥ
In the minds of the wise, you are the source of delight, the embodiment of the winds, the essence of vitality.
महाहसती गणपतिरधियं जिनवो बृ^िहसपतिः
mahāhastī gaṇapatirdhiyaṃ jinvo bṛ^ihaspatiḥ
Great and resplendent, Ganapati, you are the lord of intellect, the supreme deity, the essence of all wisdom.
माहिनो मधवा मनदी मरको.रको मेधिरो महान
māhino madhavā mandī marko.arko medhiro mahān
O sweet nectar of the cosmos, you are the essence of joy, the great thinker, the source of all that is noble.

iti prathamaṃ nāmaśatakam

परतिरूपः परोमात्रः पुरुरूपः पुरुŚटुतः
pratirūpaḥ paromātraḥ pururūpaḥ puruŚṭutaḥ
You are the ultimate form, the essence of all existence, ever-changing, yet ever-present.
पुरुहूतः पुरः सथाताः पुरुमायः पुरनदरः
puruhūtaḥ puraḥ sthātāḥ purumāyaḥ purandaraḥ
You are the divine priest, the one who leads, the essence of all creation, the source of all beings.
पुरुपरशसतः पुरुकृ^ित पुरां दरता पुरूतमः
purupraśastaḥ purukṛ^it purāṃ dartā purūtamaḥ
You are the embodiment of all virtues, the one who grants liberation, the most exalted of all.
पपरिः परछेतः परिभूः पनीयानपरतिŚकुतः
papriḥ prachetaḥ paribhūḥ panīyānapratiŚkutaḥ
You are the supreme protector, the one who nourishes, the essence of all that is pure.
पुरुशाकः पाञछजनयः पुरुभोजाः पुरुवसुः
puruśākaḥ pāñchajanyaḥ purubhojāḥ puruvasuḥ
You are the divine being, the source of all joy, the essence of all wealth.
पिशङगरातिः पपुरिः पुरोयोधः पृ^िथुजरया
piśaṅgarātiḥ papuriḥ puroyodhaḥ pṛ^ithujrayā
With a golden hue, you are the great warrior, the one who conquers all obstacles.
पररिकव परदिवः पूरवयः पुरोभूः पूरवजा ृ^िŚिः
prarikva pradivaḥ pūrvyaḥ purobhūḥ pūrvajā ṛ^iŚiḥ
You are the supreme deity, the one who resides in the heavens, the essence of all that is divine.
परणेता परमतिः पनयः पूरवयावा परभूवसुः
praṇetā pramatiḥ panyaḥ pūrvayāvā prabhūvasuḥ
You are the leader of the divine, the one who is revered, the essence of all that is powerful.
परयजयुः पावकः पूŚा पदवीः पथिकृ^ितपतिः
prayajyuḥ pāvakaḥ pūŚā padavīḥ pathikṛ^itpatiḥ
You are the victorious one, the purifier, the guide on the path of righteousness.
पुरुतमा पलितोहेता परहेता पराविता पिता
purutmā palitohetā prahetā prāvitā pitā
You are the most exalted, the one who brings peace, the supreme father of all.
पुरांभिनदुरनाधृ^िŚयः पुराजाः पपरथिनतमः
purāṃbhinduranādhṛ^iŚyaḥ purājāḥ paprathintamaḥ
You are the one who transcends all limitations, the ancient one, the source of all wisdom.
पृ^ितनाŚाड बाहुशरधी बृ^िहदरेणुरनिŚटृ^ितः
pṛ^itanāŚāḍ bāhuśardhī bṛ^ihadreṇuraniŚṭṛ^itaḥ
With arms like thunder, you are the great protector, the one who guides all beings.
भिभूतिरयोपाŚटिः बृ^िहदरेरपिधानवान
abhibhūtirayopāŚṭiḥ bṛ^ihadrerapidhānavān
O Lord, the embodiment of all wealth, the great protector of the universe, clad in the vastness of creation.
बरहमपरियो बरहमजूतो बरहमवाहा रङगमः
brahmapriyo brahmajūto brahmavāhā araṅgamaḥ
You who are adorned with the essence of the supreme, the one who bears the sacred name, the vibrant dancer of the cosmos.
बोधिनमना वकरकŚी बृ^िहदभानुरमित्रहा
bodhinmanā avakrakŚī bṛ^ihadbhānuramitrahā
With a mind that awakens wisdom, you are the great sun, the friend of all who seek enlightenment.
भूरिकरमा भरेकृ^ितनुरभदरकृ^िद भारवरोभृ^िमिः
bhūrikarmā bharekṛ^itnurbhadrakṛ^id bhārvarobhṛ^imiḥ
You who are the giver of abundant grace, the one whose form is the essence of beauty, the revered lord of the universe.
भरेŚु हवयो भूरयोजाः पुरोहा पराशुŚात परŚाट
bhareŚu havyo bhūryojāḥ purohā prāśuŚāt praŚāṭ
In the offerings made to you, O Lord of the heavens, may the sacred fires blaze brightly, bringing forth the divine.
परभङगीमहिŚो भीमो भूरयासुतिरशसतिहा
prabhaṅgīmahiŚo bhīmo bhūryāsutiraśastihā
O mighty one, the embodiment of strength, may your grace protect us, the offspring of the earth.
परसकŚी विशपतिरवीरः परसपाः शवसससपतिः
prasakŚī viśpatirvīraḥ paraspāḥ śavassaspatiḥ
You who are the lord of all beings, the fierce protector, the one who grants liberation from all suffering.
िति दवितीयं नामशतकम
iti dvitīyaṃ nāmaśatakam
Thus concludes the second hundred names, a sacred collection.
पुरुदत्रः पितृ^ितमः पुरुकŚुरभीगुः पणिः
purudatraḥ pitṛ^itamaḥ purukŚurbhīguḥ paṇiḥ
O Purudatra, the supreme father, the one who bestows blessings upon all.
परतवाकŚाणः पुरां दरमापनसयुरभिमातिहा
pratvākŚāṇaḥ purāṃ darmāpanasyurbhimātihā
You who are the voice of the ancients, the one who brings forth wisdom to the world.
पृ^िथिवया वृ^िŚभः परतनः परमनदी परथमः पृ^िथुः
pṛ^ithivyā vṛ^iŚabhaḥ pratnaḥ pramandī prathamaḥ pṛ^ithuḥ
O Earth, the foundation of all, the great river of life, the first among the elements.
तयः समुदरवयछाः पायुः परकेतशछरŚणीसहः
tyaḥ samudravyachāḥ pāyuḥ praketaścharŚaṇīsahaḥ
You who are the vast ocean, the protector of all beings, the one who grants shelter to the weary.
कारुधायाः कविवृ^िधः कनीनः करतुमानकरतुः
kārudhāyāḥ kavivṛ^idhaḥ kanīnaḥ kratumānkratuḥ
O Lord of poets, the one who inspires creation, the master of all arts and crafts.
कŚपावसता कवितमो गिरवाहाः कीरिछोदनः
kŚapāvastā kavitamo girvāhāḥ kīrichodanaḥ
With the essence of poetry, you are the voice of the divine, the one who calls forth the glories of the universe.
कŚपावानकौशिकः कारी राजाकŚमयसय गोपतिः
kŚapāvānkauśikaḥ kārī rājākŚamyasya gopatiḥ
O Kauśika, the one who is adorned with the splendor of kings, the protector of all beings.
गौरगोरदुरो दुरो.शछसय यवसयदुर ादुरिः
gaurgorduro duro.aśchasya yavasyadura āduriḥ
You who are the embodiment of purity, the one who dispels darkness, the essence of all that is good.
छनदरबुधनशछरŚणिपराशछकृ^ितयशछोदयनमतिः
chandrabudhnaścharŚaṇiprāśchakṛ^ityaśchodayanmatiḥ
O Lord of the stars, the one who shines brightly, may your light guide us on our path.
छनदरभानुशछित्रतमशछमरीŚशछछकरमासजः
chandrabhānuśchitratamaśchamrīŚaśchachakramāsajaḥ
You who are the radiant sun, the one who brings forth the colors of life, the essence of all creation.
तुविशुŚमसतुविदयुमनसतुविजातसतुवीमधः
tuviśuŚmastuvidyumnastuvijātastuvīmadhaḥ
O Lord of auspiciousness, may your blessings fill our hearts with joy and peace.
तुविकूरमिसतुविमरकŚसतुविशगमसतुविपरतिः
tuvikūrmistuvimrakŚastuviśagmastuvipratiḥ
You who are the source of all wisdom, the one who leads us to the ultimate truth.
तुविनृ^िमणसतुविगरीवसतुविराधासतुविकरतुः
tuvinṛ^imṇastuvigrīvastuvirādhāstuvikratuḥ
O Lord, who dwells in the hearts of the righteous, you are the embodiment of all virtues, the one who brings forth the essence of existence.
तुविमात्रसतुविगराभसतुविदेŚणसतुविŚवणिः
tuvimātrastuvigrābhastuvideŚṇastuviŚvaṇiḥ
You are the essence of all that is, the supreme consciousness, the one who pervades the universe with your divine light.
तूतुजितसतवससतकवसतुविगरिसतुरवणिसत्रदः
tūtujitstavasastakvastuvigristurvaṇistradaḥ
You are the conqueror of all foes, the protector of the righteous, the one who grants victory to those who seek your refuge.
रथेŚठसतरणिसतुमरसतविŚीमाननपछयुतः
ratheŚṭhastaraṇistumrastviŚīmānanapachyutaḥ
In the chariot of existence, you are the driver, guiding the souls through the trials of life with your wisdom and grace.
तोदसतरुत्रसतविŚी मुŚाणसतविŚसतुरा
todastarutrastaviŚī muŚāṇastaviŚasturā
O Lord, you are the essence of all that is auspicious, the one who bestows blessings upon those who chant your name.
तितिरवा ततुरिसत्राता भूरणिसतूरणिसतवसतरः
titirvā taturistrātā bhūrṇistūrṇistavastaraḥ
You are the protector of the devoted, the one who nurtures the faithful, and the source of all abundance and prosperity.
यज्ञवृ^िदधो यज्ञियानां परथमो यजवनो वृ^िधः
yajñavṛ^iddho yajñiyānāṃ prathamo yajvano vṛ^idhaḥ
In the realm of sacrifice, you are the foremost, the one who nourishes the offerings of the devoted with your divine presence.
मित्रखादो.निमिŚो विŚुणो.सुनवनतो.जुरः
amitrakhādo.animiŚo viŚuṇo.asunvanto.ajuraḥ
O Friend of all beings, you are the sustainer of the universe, the one who brings joy and harmony to all.
कŚितोतिरदाभयो.रयः शिपरिणीवानगोरुढः
akŚitotirdābhyo.aryaḥ śipriṇīvānagoruḍhaḥ
You are the fearless protector, the one who rides upon the celestial chariot, guiding the souls towards liberation.
ाशरुतकरणो.नतरिकŚपरा मितौजा रिŚटुतः
āśrutkarṇo.antarikŚaprā amitaujā ariŚṭutaḥ
You are the one who transcends the boundaries of existence, the supreme reality that pervades all creation.
िति तृ^ितीयं नामशतकम
iti tṛ^itīyaṃ nāmaśatakam
Thus ends the third chapter of the sacred hundred names.
दृ^िŚट ेकराडूरधव ूरधवसानः सनादयुवा
adṛ^iŚṭa ekarāḍūrdhva ūrdhvasānaḥ sanādyuvā
O Lord, who is eternal and youthful, you are the source of all that is auspicious and good.
सथिरः सूरयः सवभूतयोजाः सतयराधाः सनशरुतः
sthiraḥ sūryaḥ svabhūtyojāḥ satyarādhāḥ sanaśrutaḥ
You are the steadfast sun, the essence of all beings, the one who brings forth the light of truth.
परकलपः सततवानां केतुरछयुतछयुदुरुवयछाः
prakalpaḥ sattvānāṃ keturachyutachyuduruvyachāḥ
You are the supreme architect of the universe, the one who creates and sustains all that exists.
शवसी सवपतिः सवोजाः शछीवानविदीधयुः
śavasī svapatiḥ svojāḥ śachīvānavidīdhayuḥ
O Lord of all beings, you are the one who grants wisdom and understanding to those who seek your guidance.
सतयशुŚमः सतयसतवा सूनुः सतयसय सोमपाः
satyaśuŚmaḥ satyasatvā sūnuḥ satyasya somapāḥ
You are the embodiment of truth, the one who brings forth the nectar of immortality to your devotees.
दसयोरहनता दिवो धरता राजा दिवयसय छेतनः
dasyorhantā divo dhartā rājā divyasya chetanaḥ
You are the king of the heavens, the one who upholds the universe with your divine strength and consciousness.
ृ^िगमियो.रवा रोछमानो रभोदा ृ^ितपा ृ^ितः
ṛ^igmiyo.arvā rochamāno rabhodā ṛ^itapā ṛ^itaḥ
O Lord, who shines like the sun, you are the one who dispels the darkness and brings forth the light of knowledge.
ृ^िजीŚी रणकृ^िदरेवा नृ^ितवियो रधरछोदनः
ṛ^ijīŚī raṇakṛ^idrevā nṛ^itviyo radhrachodanaḥ
You are the warrior of righteousness, the one who protects the virtuous and vanquishes the wicked.
ृ^िŚवोरायो.वनीराजा रयिसथानो रदावसुः
ṛ^iŚvorāyo.avanīrājā rayisthāno radāvasuḥ
You are the king of the forest, the one who sustains all life, and the source of all prosperity and abundance.
ृ^िभुकŚा निमानो.शछः सहमानः समुदरियः
ṛ^ibhukŚā animāno.aśchaḥ sahamānaḥ samudriyaḥ
With the grace of the ocean's waves, may we be blessed by the divine, as we chant the names of the mighty.
ृ^िणकातिरगिरवरणसयुः कीजः खिदवाखजङकरः
ṛ^iṇakātirgirvarṇasyuḥ kījaḥ khidvākhajaṅkaraḥ
O Lord, who rides the celestial chariot, may your strength and valor protect us from all harm.
ृ^िजीŚो वसुविदवेनयो वाजेŚु दधृ^िŚः कविः
ṛ^ijīŚo vasuvidvenyo vājeŚu dadhṛ^iŚaḥ kaviḥ
With the brilliance of the Vedic seers, may we be endowed with wisdom and the bounty of the earth.
विरपशी वीलितो विपरो विशववेदा ृ^ितावृ^िधः

In the realm of knowledge, may we flourish, as the sacred texts guide us to prosperity.
ृ^ितयुगधरमकृ^िदधेनुरधनजिदधामवरमवाट

O bearer of the ages, grant us the wealth of virtue and the shelter of your divine presence.
ृ^ितेजाः सकŚणिः सोमयः संसृ^िŚटिजिदृ^िभुŚठिरः
ṛ^itejāḥ sakŚaṇiḥ somyaḥ saṃsṛ^iŚṭijidṛ^ibhuŚṭhiraḥ
With the radiance of the moon, may we be steadfast, overcoming the trials of existence.
ृ^ितयुः सबलः सहयुरवजरवाहा ृ^िछीŚमः
ṛ^itayuḥ sabalaḥ sahyurvajravāhā ṛ^ichīŚamaḥ
In the strength of unity, may we rise, as the guardians of truth and righteousness.
ृ^िगमीदधृ^िŚवानृ^िŚवौजाः सुगोपाः सवयशसतरः
ṛ^igmīdadhṛ^iŚvānṛ^iŚvaujāḥ sugopāḥ svayaśastaraḥ
O protectors of the sacred, may we be blessed with abundance and the fruits of our labor.
सवभिŚटिसुमनः सेहानः सुनीतिः सुकृ^ितः शुछिः
svabhiŚṭisumnaḥ sehānaḥ sunītiḥ sukṛ^itaḥ śuchiḥ
With a heart full of devotion, may we walk the path of righteousness, pure and true.
ृ^िणयाः सहसः सूनुः सुदानुः सगणो वसुः
ṛ^iṇayāḥ sahasaḥ sūnuḥ sudānuḥ sagaṇo vasuḥ
O Lord of wealth, may your blessings shower upon us, bringing forth prosperity and joy.
सतोमयः समदवा सत्राहा सतोमवाहा ृ^ितीŚहः
stomyaḥ samadvā satrāhā stomavāhā ṛ^itīŚahaḥ
In the harmony of the cosmos, may we find peace and the fulfillment of our desires.

शविŚठः शवसः पुत्रः शतमनयुः शतकरतुः
śaviŚṭhaḥ śavasaḥ putraḥ śatamanyuḥ śatakratuḥ
O son of the divine, may your strength and wisdom guide us through the ages.
शकरः शिकŚानरः शुŚमी शरुतकरणः शरवयतसखा
śakraḥ śikŚānaraḥ śuŚmī śrutkarṇaḥ śravayatsakhā
With the grace of the celestial bow, may we attain victory and the fruits of our endeavors.
शतमूतिः शरधनीतिः शतनीथः शतामघः
śatamūtiḥ śardhanītiḥ śatanīthaḥ śatāmaghaḥ
O Lord of a hundred virtues, may your blessings flow like the rivers of abundance.
शलोकी शिवतमः शरुतयं नामबिभरदनानतः
ślokī śivatamaḥ śrutyaṃ nāmabibhradanānataḥ
In the essence of devotion, may we carry the names of the divine, ever in our hearts.
शूरः शिपरी सहसरोतिः शुभरः शृ^िङकŚङगवृ^िŚोनपात
śūraḥ śiprī sahasrotiḥ śubhraḥ śṛ^iṅkŚaṅgavṛ^iŚonapāt
O brave one, may your auspicious presence lead us to victory and glory.
शासः शाकी शरवसकामः शवसावानहंसनः
śāsaḥ śākī śravaskāmaḥ śavasāvānahaṃsanaḥ
With the strength of the mighty, may we overcome all obstacles and soar high.
सुरूपकृ^ित्रुरीशानः शूशुवानः शछीपतिः
surūpakṛ^itrurīśānaḥ śūśuvānaḥ śachīpatiḥ
O Lord of beauty, may your grace envelop us, as we seek your divine favor.
सतीनसतवा सनिता शकतीवानमितकरतुः
satīnasatvā sanitā śaktīvānamitakratuḥ
With unwavering faith, may we harness the power of devotion and attain the ultimate truth.
सहसरछेताः सुमनाः शरुतयः शुदधः शरुतामघः
sahasrachetāḥ sumanāḥ śrutyaḥ śuddhaḥ śrutāmaghaḥ
With a thousand heads adorned, the pure-hearted ones sing, O Shuruta, the bearer of auspiciousness.
सत्रादावा सोमपावा सुकरतुः शमशरुŚु शरितः
satrādāvā somapāvā sukratuḥ śmaśruŚu śritaḥ
In the sacred assembly, the moon's nectar flows, bringing peace and harmony to all.
छौत्रः सुपरकरसरोना छकरमानः सदावृ^िधः
chautraḥ suprakarasronā chakramānaḥ sadāvṛ^idhaḥ
With a radiant crown, he who is ever vigilant bestows blessings upon the devoted.
सवभिŚटिः सतपतिः सतयशछारुरवीरतमशछती
svabhiŚṭiḥ satpatiḥ satyaśchārurvīratamaśchatī
The embodiment of auspiciousness, the Lord of all virtues, shines forth like the sun.
छित्रशछिकितवानाज्ञाता परतिमानं सतः सतः
chitraśchikitvānājñātā pratimānaṃ sataḥ sataḥ
He who knows the essence of the truth, is revered by the wise and the righteous.
सथाताः सछेताः सदिवः सुदंसाः सुशरवसतमः
sthātāḥ sachetāḥ sadivaḥ sudaṃsāḥ suśravastamaḥ
He who stands firm, with a gentle heart, is the source of all prosperity and joy.
सहोदः सुशरुतः समराटसूपारः सुनवतः सखा
sahodaḥ suśrutaḥ samrāṭsūpāraḥ sunvataḥ sakhā
The brother of the well-spoken, the great king, is a friend to all who seek refuge.
बरहमवाहसतमो बरहमा विŚणुरवसवःपतिरहरिः
brahmavāhastamo brahmā viŚṇurvasvaḥpatirhariḥ
The bearer of the great burden, Vishnu, the Lord of wealth, is the protector of all.
रणाय संसकृ^ितो रुदरो रणितेशानकृ^िछCहिवः
raṇāya saṃskṛ^ito rudro raṇiteśānakṛ^ichChivaḥ
In the battlefield, the fierce one roars, the Lord of the storm, who conquers all.
विपरजूतो विपरतमो यहवो वजरी हिरणययः
viprajūto vipratamo yahvo vajrī hiraṇyayaḥ
He who is the essence of strength, the golden one, is the master of all.
ववरो वीरतरोवायुरमातरिशवा मरुतसखा
vavro vīratarovāyurmātariśvā marutsakhā
The valiant wind, the swift one, is the companion of the Maruts.
गूरतशरवा विशवगूरतो वनदनशरुदविछकŚणः
gūrtaśravā viśvagūrto vandanaśrudvichakŚaṇaḥ
The great archer, the one who knows the secrets of the forest, strikes with precision.
वृ^िŚणिरवसुपतिरवाजी वृ^िŚभो वाजिनी वसुः
vṛ^iŚṇirvasupatirvājī vṛ^iŚabho vājinī vasuḥ
The Lord of abundance, the one who rides the chariot of prosperity, is the giver of wealth.

विगरो विभीŚणो वहनिरवृ^िदधायुरविशरुतो वृ^िŚा

The fierce one, the bearer of the great burden, is the one who knows the essence of all.
वरजभृ^िदवृ^ित्रहा वृ^िदधो विशववारो वृ^ितञछयः
vrajabhṛ^idvṛ^itrahā vṛ^iddho viśvavāro vṛ^itañchayaḥ
He who conquers the great demon, the one who protects the world, is the embodiment of strength.
वृ^िŚजूतिरवृ^िŚरथो वृ^िŚभाननो वृ^िŚकरतुः
vṛ^iŚajūtirvṛ^iŚaratho vṛ^iŚabhānno vṛ^iŚakratuḥ
The one who rides the chariot of strength, the radiant one, is the master of all.
वृ^िŚकरमा वृ^िŚमणाः सुदकŚः सुनवतो वृ^िधः
vṛ^iŚakarmā vṛ^iŚamaṇāḥ sudakŚaḥ sunvato vṛ^idhaḥ
The one who is skilled in the art of creation, the gentle one, is the source of all prosperity.
दरोघवागसुरहा वेधाः सत्राकरो.जरः
adroghavāgasurahā vedhāḥ satrākaro.ajaraḥ
The one who speaks the truth, the destroyer of evil, is the protector of the righteous.
पारः सुहवो.भीरुरभिभङगो.ङगिरसतमः
apāraḥ suhavo.abhīrurabhibhaṅgo.aṅgirastamaḥ
Pāra, the auspicious one, the fearless, the great serpent, the essence of all.
मरतयः सवायुधो.शत्रुरपरतीतो.भिमातिŚाट
amartyaḥ svāyudho.aśatrurapratīto.abhimātiŚāṭ
Marataya, armed with all weapons, the foe who cannot be surpassed, the terror of the mighty.
मत्री सूनुररछत्रयः समददिŚटिरभयङकरः
amatrī sūnurarchatryaḥ samaddiŚṭirabhayaṅkaraḥ
Matrī, the son of the protector, who grants safety and dispels fear.
भिनेता सपारहराधाः सपतरशमिरभिŚटिकृ^ित
abhinetā spārharādhāḥ saptaraśmirabhiŚṭikṛ^it
The leader, with his retinue, who brings forth peace and joy.
नरवासवरजिदिŚकरता सतोतृ^ीणामवितोपरः
anarvāsvarjidiŚkartā stotṛ^īṇāmavitoparaḥ
Nara, the supreme being, the bestower of devotion, the protector of those who sing His praises.
जातशत्रुः सेनानि रुभयावयुभयङकरः
ajātaśatruḥ senāni rubhayāvyubhayaṅkaraḥ
The born enemy, the commander of armies, who instills fear in the hearts of foes.
ुरुगायःसतययोनिः सहसवानुरवरापतिः
urugāyaḥsatyayoniḥ sahasvānurvarāpatiḥ
Rugāya, the one of great birth, the swift and noble lord.
ुगरो गोप ुगरबाहुरुगरधनवोकथवरधनः
ugro gopa ugrabāhurugradhanvokthavardhanaḥ
Ugaro, the protector of cows, the one with powerful arms, the lord of wealth.
गाथशरवा गिरां राजा गमभीरो गिरवणसतमः
gāthaśravā girāṃ rājā gambhīro girvaṇastamaḥ
Gātha, the king of songs, profound in speech, the essence of all melodies.
वजरहसतछरŚणीनां वृ^िŚभो वजरदकŚिणः
vajrahastacharŚaṇīnāṃ vṛ^iŚabho vajradakŚiṇaḥ
Vajra, the one who wields the thunderbolt, the fierce protector of the righteous.
सोमकामः सोमपतिः सोमवृ^िदधः सुदकŚिणः
somakāmaḥ somapatiḥ somavṛ^iddhaḥ sudakŚiṇaḥ
Somakāma, the lord of the moon, the one who grants desires, the bestower of bliss.
सुबरहमा सथविरः सूरः सहिŚटः सपरथाः सराट
subrahmā sthaviraḥ sūraḥ sahiŚṭaḥ saprathāḥ sarāṭ
Subharahama, the steadfast one, the valiant hero, the one who brings forth auspiciousness.
हरिशमशारुरहरिवानहरीणां पतिरसतृ^ितः
hariśmaśārurharivānharīṇāṃ patirastṛ^itaḥ
Hari, the lord of all beings, the one who protects the devotees of Vishnu.
हिरणयबाहुरुरवयूतिरहरिकेशो हिरीमशः
hiraṇyabāhururvyūtirharikeśo hirīmaśaḥ
Hiraṇyabāhu, the golden-armed, the one with beautiful hair, the lord of all riches.
हरिशिपरो हरयमाणो हरिजातो हरिमभरः
hariśipro haryamāṇo harijāto harimbharaḥ
Harishiparo, the one who is born of Hari, the one who carries the essence of divinity.
हिरणयवरणो हरयशछो हरिवरपा हरिपरियः
hiraṇyavarṇo haryaścho harivarpā haripriyaḥ
Hiraṇyavaraṇa, the golden-clad, the one who is the best among beings, the beloved of Hari.
हनिŚठो हरयकŚवो हवयो हरिŚठा हरियोजनः
haniŚṭho haryakŚvo havyo hariŚṭhā hariyojanaḥ
Hanitho, the one who is swift, the one who brings forth auspiciousness, the one who is dear to Hari.
िति ŚŚठं नामशतकम
iti ŚaŚṭhaṃ nāmaśatakam
Thus ends the hundred names.
सतवा सुशिपरः सुकŚत्रः सुवीरः सुतपा ृ^िŚिः
satvā suśipraḥ sukŚatraḥ suvīraḥ sutapā ṛ^iŚiḥ
Sattva, the one of pure qualities, the one of noble lineage, the valiant one, the one who is steadfast.
गाथानयो गोत्रभिदगरामं वहमानो गवेŚणः
gāthānyo gotrabhidgrāmaṃ vahamāno gaveŚaṇaḥ
Gāthānayo, the one who carries the lineage of songs, the one who leads the cows to their pastures.
जिŚणुसतसथुŚ ीशानो ीशानो जगतो नृ^ितुः
jiŚṇustasthuŚa īśāno īśāno jagato nṛ^ituḥ
O Lord of the universe, the one who brings forth life, you are the essence of all beings.
नरयाणि विदवाननृ^िपतिः नेतानृ^िमणसय तूतुजिः
naryāṇi vidvānnṛ^ipatiḥ netānṛ^imṇasya tūtujiḥ
Narayana, wise ruler of men, guide us with your divine wisdom.
निमेधमानो नरयापाः सिनधूनां पतिरुततरः
nimedhamāno naryāpāḥ sindhūnāṃ patiruttaraḥ
As the great protector of the oceans, you are the supreme lord of the waters.
नरयो नियुतवाननिछितो नकŚददाभोनहुŚटरः
naryo niyutvānnichito nakŚaddābhonahuŚṭaraḥ
Narayana, the one who is firmly established, you are the strength of the heavens.
नवयो निधाता नृ^िमणाः सधरीछीनः सुतरेणः
navyo nidhātā nṛ^imaṇāḥ sadhrīchīnaḥ sutareṇaḥ
The giver of wealth, you bless the noble souls with prosperity and grace.
नृ^ितमानो नदनुमाननवीयाननृ^ितमोनृ^िजित
nṛ^itamāno nadanumānnavīyānnṛ^itamonṛ^ijit
As the dancer of the cosmos, you weave the fabric of existence with your divine rhythm.
विछयिŚठो वजरबाहुरवृ^ित्रखादोवलं रुजः
vichayiŚṭho vajrabāhurvṛ^itrakhādovalaṃ rujaḥ
With your thunderous arms, you vanquish the demons, dispelling all suffering.
जातूभरमा जयेŚठतमो जनभकŚो जनंसहः
jātūbharmā jyeŚṭhatamo janabhakŚo janaṃsahaḥ
O Lord of victory, you are the greatest among the great, the protector of the people.
विशवाŚाडवंसगोवसयाननिŚपाडशनिमाननृ^िŚाट
viśvāŚāḍvaṃsagovasyānniŚpāḍaśanimānnṛ^iŚāṭ
You are the essence of all beings, the sustainer of the universe, the embodiment of truth.
पूरभितपुराŚाडभिŚाट जगतसतसथुŚसपतिः
pūrbhitpurāŚāḍabhiŚāṭ jagatastasthuŚaspatiḥ
In the ancient cities, you are the eternal protector, the guardian of all creation.
संवृ^िकसमतसुसनधाता सुसङकŚदृ^िकसविता.रुणः
saṃvṛ^iksamatsusandhātā susaṅkŚadṛ^iksavitā.aruṇaḥ
With your auspicious presence, you bring forth the light of knowledge and wisdom.
सवरयः सवरोछिः सुत्रामा सतुŚयेययः सनजाः सवरिः
svaryaḥ svarochiḥ sutrāmā stuŚyeyyaḥ sanajāḥ svariḥ
You are the source of all auspiciousness, the one who grants the desires of the righteous.
कृ^िणवननकेतवे केतुः पेशः कृ^िणवननपेशसे
kṛ^iṇvannaketave ketuḥ peśaḥ kṛ^iṇvannapeśase
In the forest of creation, you are the guiding star, leading us towards enlightenment.
वजरेण हतवी महिनो मरुतसतोत्रो मरुदगःणः
vajreṇa hatvī mahino marutstotro marudgaḥṇaḥ
With the power of your might, you conquer the storms, bringing peace to the world.
महावीरो महावरातो महाययः परमतिरमही
mahāvīro mahāvrāto mahāyyaḥ pramatirmahī
O great hero, you are the supreme force, the ultimate truth of existence.
माता मघोनां मंहिŚठो मनयुमिरमनयुमततमः
mātā maghonāṃ maṃhiŚṭho manyumirmanyumattamaḥ
Mother of the universe, you are the essence of all that is, the source of love and compassion.
मेŚो महीवृ^िनमनमदानो माहिनावानमहेमतिः
meŚo mahīvṛ^inmanmadāno māhināvānmahematiḥ
With your divine grace, you bestow strength and wisdom upon your devotees.
मरकŚोमृ^िलिको मंहिŚठो मरकŚकृ^ितवा महामहः
mrakŚomṛ^iliko maṃhiŚṭho mrakŚakṛ^itvā mahāmahaḥ
O Lord of the emeralds, you are the embodiment of greatness and magnificence.
मदछुनमरडितामदवा मदानां पतिरातपः
madachunmarḍitāmadvā madānāṃ patirātapaḥ
You are the master of all desires, the one who dispels the darkness of ignorance.
सुशसतिः सवसतिदाः सवरदृ^िगराधानामाकरः पतिः
suśastiḥ svastidāḥ svardṛ^igrādhānāmākaraḥ patiḥ
O Lord of auspiciousness, you are the protector of the righteous, the beacon of hope.

विभूतिरवयानाशिरवेनो वरीयान विशवजिदविभुः
vibhūtirvyānāśirveno varīyān viśvajidvibhuḥ
O Lord of all, the embodiment of splendor, you are the conqueror of the universe.
नृ^िछकŚाः सहुरिः सवरवितसुयज्ञः सुŚठुतः सवयुः
nṛ^ichakŚāḥ sahuriḥ svarvitsuyajñaḥ suŚṭhutaḥ svayuḥ
O Narayana, the protector of the righteous, you are the essence of all sacrifices.
ापिः पृ^िथिवया जनिता सूरयसय जनिता शरुतः
āpiḥ pṛ^ithivyā janitā sūryasya janitā śrutaḥ
From the earth, you arise as the sun, illuminating the path of knowledge.
साधारणः सुखरथः सवशछः सत्राजिददभुतः
sādhāraṇaḥ sukharathaḥ svaśchaḥ satrājidadbhutaḥ
O Lord, the charioteer of happiness, you are the wonder of the ages.
जयेŚठराजो जीरदानुरजगमिरवितवकŚणो वशी
jyeŚṭharājo jīradānurjagmirvitvakŚaṇo vaśī
O King of victory, you lead the way with your divine authority.
विधाता विशवमा ाशुरमायी वृ^िदधमहावृ^िधः
vidhātā viśvamā āśurmāyī vṛ^iddhamahāvṛ^idhaḥ
O Creator of the universe, you are the embodiment of eternal wisdom.
वरेणयो विशवतूरवातसयेशानो दयौरविछरŚणिः
vareṇyo viśvatūrvātsyeśāno dyaurvicharŚaṇiḥ
With your grace, O Lord of all, you traverse the heavens with compassion.
सतीनमनयुरगोदत्रः सदयोजातोविभञजनुः
satīnamanyurgodatraḥ sadyojātovibhañjanuḥ
O Sustainer of life, you are the source of all joy and fulfillment.
वितनतसाययो वाजानां विभकता वसव ाकरः
vitantasāyyo vājānāṃ vibhaktā vasva ākaraḥ
You spread abundance like the wind, bringing prosperity to all.
वीरको वीरयुरवजरं बभरिवीरेणय ाघृ^िणिः
vīrako vīrayurvajraṃ babhrivīreṇya āghṛ^iṇiḥ
O Hero of heroes, you protect the brave with your mighty strength.
वाजिनेयो वाजनिरवाजानां पतिराजिकृ^ित
vājineyo vājanirvājānāṃ patirājikṛ^it
You are the Lord of chariots, guiding those who seek your refuge.
वासतोŚपतिरवरपणीतिरविशां राजा वपोदरः
vāstoŚpatirvarpaṇītirviśāṃ rājā vapodaraḥ
O Supreme Ruler, you are the essence of all that is noble and pure.
विभूतदयुमन ाछकरिरादारी दोधतो वधः
vibhūtadyumna āchakrirādārī dodhato vadhaḥ
With your divine light, you dispel the darkness of ignorance.
ाखणडलो दसमवरछाः सरवसेनो विमोछनः
ākhaṇḍalo dasmavarchāḥ sarvaseno vimochanaḥ
You are the remover of obstacles, liberating all from bondage.
वजरसय भरता वारयाणां पतिरगोजिदगवां पतिः
vajrasya bhartā vāryāṇāṃ patirgojidgavāṃ patiḥ
O Lord of strength, you are the protector of the righteous and the meek.
विशववयछाः सङकŚञछकानः सुहारदो जनिता दिवः
viśvavyachāḥ saṅkŚañchakānaḥ suhārdo janitā divaḥ
You are the essence of all beings, the source of joy in the heavens.
समनतुनामा पुरुध परतिको बृ^िहतः पतिः
samantunāmā purudha pratiko bṛ^ihataḥ patiḥ
O Lord of the universe, you are the protector of all, the embodiment of truth.
दीधयानो दामनो दाता दीरघशरवस ृ^िभवसः
dīdhyāno dāmano dātā dīrghaśravasa ṛ^ibhvasaḥ
He who shines brightly, the giver of wealth, the long-armed, the one who brings forth existence.
दंसनावानदिवः संमराडदेतवजूतो दिवावसुः
daṃsanāvāndivaḥ saṃmrāḍdetavajūto divāvasuḥ
The one who brings joy to the heavens, the king of battles, the one who is adorned with divine light.
दशमो देवता दकŚो दुधरोदयुमनी दयुमनतमः
daśamo devatā dakŚo dudhrodyumnī dyumantamaḥ
The tenth deity, the lord of the earth, the one who nourishes the moon, the one who brings compassion.

The hundred names of the Supreme.
मंहिङकŚŚठरातुरितथाधीरदीदयानो दधृ^िŚिरदुधिः
maṃhiṅkŚaŚṭharāturitthādhīrdīdyāno dadhṛ^iŚirdudhiḥ
He who is steadfast, the one who holds the universe, the one who is endowed with strength and wisdom.
दुŚटरीतुरदुशछयवनो दिवोमानो दिवोवृ^िŚा
duŚṭarīturduśchyavano divomāno divovṛ^iŚā
The one who conquers the wicked, the one who is the essence of the heavens, the one who is the source of all prosperity.
दकŚाययो दसयुहाधृ^िŚणुः दकŚिणावान धियावसुः
dakŚāyyo dasyuhādhṛ^iŚṇuḥ dakŚiṇāvān dhiyāvasuḥ
The one who is the protector of righteousness, the one who is the embodiment of wisdom, the one who is the essence of the divine.
धनसपृ^िदधृ^िŚितो धाता दयमानो धनञजयः
dhanaspṛ^iddhṛ^iŚito dhātā dayamāno dhanañjayaḥ
The one who is rich in virtue, the giver of wealth, the one who brings forth abundance.
दिवयो दविबरहा सननारयः समरयसत्राः सिमः सखा
divyo dvibarhā sannāryaḥ samaryastrāḥ simaḥ sakhā
The divine one, the great protector, the friend of all beings, the one who is the source of joy.
दयुकŚः समानो दंसिŚठो राधसः पतिरधरिगुः

समराट पृ^िथिवया ोजसवान वयोधा ृ^ितुपा ृ^िभुः
samrāṭ pṛ^ithivyā ojasvān vayodhā ṛ^itupā ṛ^ibhuḥ
The great king of the earth, the one who is filled with radiance, the one who is the protector of the righteous.
ेको राजैधमानदविडेकवीर ुरुजयाः

The sole ruler, the one who is endowed with valor, the one who is the essence of strength.
लोककृ^िजजनिता.शछानां जनिता गवाम
lokakṛ^ijjanitā.aśchānāṃ janitā gavām

जरिता जनुŚां राजा गिरवणाः सुनवतो.विता

He who is the essence of the mighty, the protector of the righteous, the one who brings forth abundance.
गरभो.समŚटकावयोयुगहिशुŚमोदधृ^िŚवणिः
garbho.asamaŚṭakāvyoyugahiśuŚmodadhṛ^iŚvaṇiḥ
He who is the womb of all creation, the source of joy, the one who bestows the nectar of wisdom.
परत्रः परिरवाजदावा जयोतिः करता गिरां पतिः
pratraḥ parirvājadāvā jyotiḥ kartā girāṃ patiḥ
He who is the lord of all sounds, the one who grants victory, the master of the divine hymns.

नवदयः समभृ^िताशछो वजरिवाददरिवानदयुमान

पृ^िदाकुसानुरोजीयान बरहमणशछोदिताः यमः

वरूता मधुनो राजा परणेनीः पपरथी युवा
varūtā madhuno rājā praṇenīḥ paprathī yuvā
He who is the king of sweetness, the youthful one, the one who brings forth joy.
ुरुशंसोहवंशरोता भूरिदावा बृ^िहछCहरवाः
uruśaṃsohavaṃśrotā bhūridāvā bṛ^ihachChravāḥ
He who is the embodiment of valor, the one who is the source of prosperity.
माता सतियानां वृ^िŚभो महोदाता महावधः
mātā stiyānāṃ vṛ^iŚabho mahodātā mahāvadhaḥ
He who is the mother of the faithful, the one who is the great giver, the one who is the supreme protector.
सुगमयः सुराधाः सत्राŚाडोदतीनां नदोधुनिः
sugmyaḥ surādhāḥ satrāŚāḍodatīnāṃ nadodhuniḥ
He who is the path of the divine, the one who guides the seekers through the waters of existence.
कामकरशनः सवरŚाः सुमृ^िलीकः सहसकृ^ितः
akāmakarśanaḥ svarŚāḥ sumṛ^ilīkaḥ sahaskṛ^itaḥ
He who fulfills desires, the one who is ever auspicious, the one who is the essence of all creation.
पासतयसय होता सिनधूनां वृ^िŚाभोजो रथीतमः
pāstyasya hotā sindhūnāṃ vṛ^iŚābhojo rathītamaḥ
He who is the friend of the sages, the one who brings forth prosperity.
सखा मुनीनां जनिदाः सवधावानसमो.परतिः
sakhā munīnāṃ janidāḥ svadhāvānasamo.apratiḥ
He who is the mind of the universe, the one who is the essence of all beings.
मनसवानधवरो मरयो बृ^िबदुकथो.विता भगः
manasvānadhvaro maryo bṛ^ibaduktho.avitā bhagaḥ
He who is the protector of the brave, the one who is the essence of valor.
Śाहलो.रीहल ादरता वीरं करतां विशसपतिः
aŚāhlo.arīhla ādartā vīraṃ kartāṃ viśaspatiḥ
He who is the lord of the divine, the one who is the embodiment of strength.
ेकः पतिरिनः पुŚटिः सुवीरयो हरिपाः सुदृ^ीक
ekaḥ patirinaḥ puŚṭiḥ suvīryo haripāḥ sudṛ^īk
He who is the one and only, the protector of the virtuous, the one who is ever radiant.
ेको हवयः सनादारुगोकोवाकसय सकŚणिः
eko havyaḥ sanādārugokovākasya sakŚaṇiḥ
He who is the supreme offering, the one who is the essence of all existence.
सुवृ^िकतिरमृ^ितो.मृ^िकतः खजकृ^िदवलदाः शुनः
suvṛ^iktiramṛ^ito.amṛ^iktaḥ khajakṛ^idvaladāḥ śunaḥ
With the grace of the divine, the earth is adorned, a treasure of life, a refuge for all beings.
मत्रो मित्र ाकाययः सुदामाबजिन महोमही
amatro mitra ākāyyaḥ sudāmābjin mahomahī
O friend of the universe, with the strength of Sudama, may your essence be vast and profound.
रथः सुबाहुरुशना सुनीथो भूरिदाः सुदाः
rathaḥ subāhuruśanā sunītho bhūridāḥ sudāḥ
The chariot of glory, with broad shoulders and swift horses, carries the wealth of the world.
मदसय राजा सोमसय पीतवीजयानदिवः पतिः
madasya rājā somasya pītvījyāndivaḥ patiḥ
The king of intoxication, the moon's delight, bestows victory and joy upon the heavens.
तविŚीवानधनो युधमो हवनशरुतसहः सवराट
taviŚīvāndhano yudhmo havanaśrutsahaḥ svarāṭ
In the realm of the divine, the warrior of sacrifice, the lord of offerings, reigns supreme.
िति दशमं नामशतकम
iti daśamaṃ nāmaśatakam
Thus concludes the hundred names, a sacred collection.
त्रेमे भवनतयुपसंहारशलोकाः
atreme bhavantyupasaṃhāraślokāḥ
May these verses bring forth the essence of the divine.
िदं सहसरमिनदरसय नामनां परमपावनम
idaṃ sahasramindrasya nāmnāṃ paramapāvanam
This is the most sacred of names, a thousandfold, purifying the heart.
ृ^िगवेदतो गणपतिः सङगृ^िहय विनिबदधवान
ṛ^igvedato gaṇapatiḥ saṅgṛ^ihya vinibaddhavān
From the Rigveda, Ganapati is invoked, bound in devotion.
नात्र नामनः पौनरुकतयं न छ कारादि पूरणम
nātra nāmnaḥ paunaruktyaṃ na cha kārādi pūraṇam
Here, the names are not mere sounds, nor are they to be taken lightly.
शलोकमधये न छारमया शतकसयोपसंहृ^ितिः
ślokamadhye na chāramyā śatakasyopasaṃhṛ^itiḥ
In the heart of the verses, the essence is not lost; the hundredfold is gathered.
नामनामेŚां CहानदसतवातसरवेŚां छ सवरूपतः
nāmnāmeŚāṃ ChāndasatvātsarveŚāṃ cha svarūpataḥ
In every name, O Lord, the essence of bliss is revealed.
वलोकया यथा Cहनदः शबदशुदधिरविछकŚणैः
avalokyā yathā Chandaḥ śabdaśuddhirvichakŚaṇaiḥ
Behold, as the divine resonates, the sound of purity echoes through the cosmos.
नेकपदनामानि विनियोजयानि पूजने
anekapadanāmāni viniyojyāni pūjane
Countless names are offered in worship, each a path to the divine.
छतुरथयनतपरयोगेŚु वयुतकरमाछछ यथानवयम
chaturthyantaprayogeŚu vyutkramāchcha yathānvayam
In the fourfold path of devotion, may we find the essence of the eternal.
सय नामसहसरसय वेददमूलसय सेवने
asya nāmasahasrasya veddamūlasya sevane
The thousand names serve as roots, nurturing the soul in devotion.
मनत्रेभयः समभृ^ितं सारमेतननामसहसरकम
mantrebhyaḥ sambhṛ^itaṃ sārametannāmasahasrakam
In the sacred mantra, the essence is gathered, a treasure of a thousand names.
ेनदरं यो भजते भकतया तसय सयुः सिदधयो वशे
endraṃ yo bhajate bhaktyā tasya syuḥ siddhayo vaśe
He who worships with devotion shall find himself in the embrace of success.
िनदरो विजयते देवः सरवसय जगतः पतिः
indro vijayate devaḥ sarvasya jagataḥ patiḥ
The divine triumphs, the lord of all, the ruler of the universe reigns supreme.
वेदमूलं जयतयेतततसय नामसहसरकम
vedamūlaṃ jayatyetattasya nāmasahasrakam
The root of the Vedas, victorious and resplendent, is the thousand names of the Divine.
िति शरीभगवनमहरŚिरमणानतेवासिनो वासिŚठसय नरसिंहसूनोरगणपतेः कृ^ितिः िनदरसहसरनामसतोत्रं समपूरणम
iti śrībhagavanmaharŚiramaṇāntevāsino vāsiŚṭhasya narasiṃhasūnorgaṇapateḥ kṛ^itiḥ indrasahasranāmastotraṃ sampūrṇam
Thus, the glorious Lord, the Supreme Being, the Resplendent Narayana, dwells in the hearts of His devotees, and the hymn of a thousand names of Narasimha, the son of the Lord, is complete and fulfilled.
