Kalyana Vrishti Stava (Panchadasi Stotram)
The Kalyana Vrishti Stava praises Lord Vishnu, invoking his blessings for prosperity and auspiciousness.
देवी स्तोत्राणि
kalyāṇavr̥ṣṭibhirivāmr̥tapūritābhi- -rlakṣmīsvayaṁvaraṇamaṅgaladīpikābhiḥ
O Goddess, the treasure of hymns, the auspicious rain of praises,

sēvābhiramba tava pādasarōjamūlē nākāri kiṁ manasi bhāgyavatāṁ janānām
With the auspicious lights of your self-chosen form, filled with the nectar of immortality,
: यह स्तोत्र “
ētāvadēva janani spr̥haṇīyamāstē tvadvandanēṣu salilasthagitē ca nētrē
At your lotus feet, O Mother, through service,
” पुस्तकमें मुद्रित है ।
sāṁnidhyamudyadaruṇāyutasōdarasya tvadvigrahasya parayā sudhayāplutasya
What can the fortunate ones in their hearts not achieve?
कल्याणवृष्टिभिरिवामृतपूरिताभि-
īśatvanāmakaluṣāḥ kati vā na santi brahmādayaḥ pratibhavaṁ pralayābhibhūtāḥ
This much, O Mother, is what the longing ones desire.
-र्लक्ष्मीस्वयंवरणमङ्गलदीपिकाभिः ।
ēkaḥ sa ēva janani sthirasiddhirāstē yaḥ pādayōstava sakr̥tpraṇatiṁ karōti
In your praises, in the waters of your eyes that are like the moon,
सेवाभिरम्ब तव पादसरोजमूले
labdhvā sakr̥ttripurasundari tāvakīnaṁ kāruṇyakandalitakāntibharaṁ kaṭākṣam
The proximity of the sun-like brother of the red dawn,
नाकारि किं मनसि भाग्यवतां जनानाम् ॥ १ ॥
kandarpakōṭisubhagāstvayi bhaktibhājaḥ saṁmōhayanti taruṇīrbhuvanatrayē:'pi
Your form, immersed in the highest nectar,
एतावदेव जननि स्पृहणीयमास्ते
hrīṁ-kāramēva tava nāma gr̥ṇanti vēdā mātastrikōṇanilayē tripurē trinētrē
How many impurities are there that do not exist?
त्वद्वन्दनेषु सलिलस्थगिते च नेत्रे ।
tvatsaṁsmr̥tau yamabhaṭābhibhavaṁ vihāya dīvyanti nandanavanē saha lōkapālaiḥ
Brahma and others, overwhelmed by dissolution,
सांनिध्यमुद्यदरुणायुतसोदरस्य
hantuḥ purāmadhigalaṁ paripīyamānaḥ krūraḥ kathaṁ na bhavitā garalasya vēgaḥ
Only he, the one, remains, O Mother, as the firm attainment.
त्वद्विग्रहस्य परया सुधयाप्लुतस्य ॥ २ ॥
nāśvāsanāya yadi mātaridaṁ tavārthaṁ dēhasya śaśvadamr̥tāplutaśītalasya
Whoever bows down to your feet even once,
ईशत्वनामकलुषाः कति वा न सन्ति
sarvajñatāṁ sadasi vākpaṭutāṁ prasūtē dēvi tvadaṅghrisarasīruhayōḥ praṇāmaḥ
Having attained the beautiful Tripurasundari,
ब्रह्मादयः प्रतिभवं प्रलयाभिभूताः ।
kiṁ ca sphuranmakuṭamujjvalamātapatraṁ dvē cāmarē ca mahatīṁ vasudhāṁ dadāti
With a gaze filled with compassion and beauty,
एकः स एव जननि स्थिरसिद्धिरास्ते
kalpadrumairabhimatapratipādanēṣu kāruṇyavāridhibhiramba bhavātkaṭākṣaiḥ
Those who are devotees of you, O Goddess,
यः पादयोस्तव सकृत्प्रणतिं करोति ॥ ३ ॥
ālōkaya tripurasundari māmanāthaṁ tvayyēva bhaktibharitaṁ tvayi baddhatr̥ṣṇam
Enchant even the young women of the three worlds.
लब्ध्वा सकृत्त्रिपुरसुन्दरि तावकीनं
hantētarēṣvapi manāṁsi nidhāya cānyē bhaktiṁ vahanti kila pāmaradaivatēṣu
The Vedas sing only your name, O Hrim,
कारुण्यकन्दलितकान्तिभरं कटाक्षम् ।
tvāmēva dēvi manasā samanusmarāmi tvāmēva naumi śaraṇaṁ janani tvamēva
O Mother, residing in the triangular abode, in Tripura, with three eyes,
कन्दर्पकोटिसुभगास्त्वयि भक्तिभाजः
lakṣyēṣu satsvapi kaṭākṣanirīkṣaṇānā- -mālōkaya tripurasundari māṁ kadācit
In your remembrance, leaving behind the fear of Yama's soldiers,
संमोहयन्ति तरुणीर्भुवनत्रयेऽपि ॥ ४ ॥
nūnaṁ mayā tu sadr̥śaḥ karuṇaikapātraṁ jātō janiṣyati janō na ca jāyatē vā
They revel in the Nandanavana with the guardians of the worlds.
ह्रींकारमेव तव नाम गृणन्ति वेदा
hrīṁ hrīmiti pratidinaṁ japatāṁ tavākhyāṁ kiṁ nāma durlabhamiha tripurādhivāsē
How can the cruel one, who is being consumed by poison, not be?
मातस्त्रिकोणनिलये त्रिपुरे त्रिनेत्रे ।
mālākirīṭamadavāraṇamānanīyā tānsēvatē vasumatī svayamēva lakṣmīḥ
If this is not for your sake, O Mother,
त्वत्संस्मृतौ यमभटाभिभवं विहाय
sampatkarāṇi sakalēndriyanandanāni sāmrājyadānaniratāni sarōruhākṣi
Of the body, always filled with the coolness of immortality,
दीव्यन्ति नन्दनवने सह लोकपालैः ॥ ५ ॥
tvadvandanāni duritāharaṇōdyatāni māmēva mātaraniśaṁ kalayantu nānyam
In the assembly of omniscience, in the birth of eloquence,
हन्तुः पुरामधिगलं परिपीयमानः
kalpōpasaṁhr̥tiṣu kalpitatāṇḍavasya dēvasya khaṇḍaparaśōḥ parabhairavasya
O Goddess, my prostration is at the lake of your feet.
क्रूरः कथं न भविता गरलस्य वेगः ।
pāśāṅkuśaikṣavaśarāsanapuṣpabāṇā sā sākṣiṇī vijayatē tava mūrtirēkā
Moreover, the shining crown and the brilliant umbrella,
नाश्वासनाय यदि मातरिदं तवार्थं
lagnaṁ sadā bhavatu mātaridaṁ tavārdhaṁ tējaḥ paraṁ bahulakuṅkumapaṅkaśōṇam
Bestow the great earth with two fans.
देहस्य शश्वदमृताप्लुतशीतलस्य ॥ ६ ॥
bhāsvatkirīṭamamr̥tāṁśukalāvataṁsaṁ madhyē trikōṇanilayaṁ paramāmr̥tārdram
In the fulfillment of desires, with wish-fulfilling trees,
सर्वज्ञतां सदसि वाक्पटुतां प्रसूते
hrīṁ-kāramēva tava nāma tadēva rūpaṁ tvannāma durlabhamiha tripurē gr̥ṇanti
O Mother, with your glances of compassion, grant us your grace.
देवि त्वदङ्घ्रिसरसीरुहयोः प्रणामः ।
tvattējasā pariṇataṁ viyadādibhūtaṁ saukhyaṁ tanōti sarasīruhasambhavādēḥ
O Tripura Sundari, behold my Lord,
किं च स्फुरन्मकुटमुज्ज्वलमातपत्रं
hrīṁ-kāratrayasampuṭēna mahatā mantrēṇa sandīpitaṁ stōtraṁ yaḥ prativāsaraṁ tava purō mātarjapēnmantravit
In you alone, filled with devotion, my thirst is bound.
द्वे चामरे च महतीं वसुधां ददाति ॥ ७ ॥
tasya kṣōṇibhujō bhavanti vaśagā lakṣmīścirasthāyinī vāṇī nirmalasūktibhārabhāritā jāgarti dīrghaṁ vayaḥ
Indeed, even among others, hearts are placed elsewhere,
कल्पद्रुमैरभिमतप्रतिपादनेषु
iti śrīmatparamahaṁsaparivrājakācāryasya śrīgōvindabhagavatpūjyapādaśiṣyasya śrīmacchaṅkarabhagavataḥ kr̥tau kalyāṇavr̥ṣṭi stavaḥ
Devotion flows to the deities of the common folk.
