Sahadevakritam Agni Stotram ..
This stotram is a devotional hymn dedicated to Agni, praising his qualities and seeking his blessings for spiritual and material well-being.
सहदेवसतु धरमातमा सैनयं दृ^िŚटवा भयारदितम
sahadevastu dharmātmā sainyaṃ dṛ^iŚṭvā bhayārditam
O Sahadeva, seeing the righteous army, you tremble in fear.
परीतमगनिना राजननाकमपत यथा गिरिः
parītamagninā rājannākampata yathā giriḥ
Like a mountain, the king is surrounded by the blazing fire.
ुपसपृ^िशय शुछिरभूतवा सो.बरवीतपावकं ततः
upaspṛ^iśya śuchirbhūtvā so.abravītpāvakaṃ tataḥ
With pure intent, I touch the sacred flame, and thus I speak of the divine fire.
तवदरथो.यं समारमभः कृ^िŚणवरतमननमो.सतु ते
tvadartho.ayaṃ samārambhaḥ kṛ^iŚṇavartmannamo.astu te
Your chariot is ready, O Krishna, I bow to you with devotion.
मुखं तवमसि देवानां यज्ञसतवमसि पावक
mukhaṃ tvamasi devānāṃ yajñastvamasi pāvaka
You are the face of the deities, the essence of sacrifice, the sacred fire.
पावनातपावकशछासि वहनादधवयवाहनः
pāvanātpāvakaśchāsi vahanāddhavyavāhanaḥ
O purifier, you are the bearer of the sacred fire, the one who carries the offerings.
वेदासतवदरथं जाताशछ जातवेदासततो हयसि
vedāstvadarthaṃ jātāścha jātavedāstato hyasi
In the Vedas, your chariot is exalted, O Agni, you are the one who brings forth the essence.
यज्ञविघनमिमं करतुं नारहसतवं हवयवाहन
yajñavighnamimaṃ kartuṃ nārhastvaṃ havyavāhana
O bearer of offerings, may you fulfill this sacrifice without hindrance.
