Shiva Mahimna Stotram
The stotra glorifies the divine attributes and powers of Lord Shiva, celebrating his role as the supreme being.
महिम्नः पारं ते परमविदुषो यद्यसदृशी
mahimnaḥ pāraṁ tē paramaviduṣō yadyasadr̥śī stutirbrahmādīnāmapi tadavasannāstvayi giraḥ
O Lord Shiva, the hymn of Your glory is beyond the comprehension of the wise.
स्तुतिर्ब्रह्मादीनामपि तदवसन्नास्त्वयि गिरः ।
athā:'vācyaḥ sarvaḥ svamatipariṇāmāvadhi gr̥ṇan mamāpyēṣa stōtrē hara nirapavādaḥ parikaraḥ
Even the praises sung by Brahma and others are humbled before You.
अथाऽवाच्यः सर्वः स्वमतिपरिणामावधि गृणन्
atītaḥ panthānaṁ tava ca mahimā vāṅmanasayō- -ratadvyāvr̥ttyā yaṁ cakitamabhidhattē śrutirapi
All beings, in accordance with their own understanding, sing Your praises.
ममाप्येष स्तोत्रे हर निरपवादः परिकरः ॥ १ ॥
sa kasya stōtavyaḥ katividhaguṇaḥ kasya viṣayaḥ padē tvarvācīnē patati na manaḥ kasya na vacaḥ
This hymn of mine, O Haro, is free from any faults and is dedicated to You.
अतीतः पन्थानं तव च महिमा वाङ्मनसयो-
madhusphītā vācaḥ paramamamr̥taṁ nirmitavata- -stava brahman kiṁ vāgapi suragurōrvismayapadam
Your greatness transcends all paths, and the essence of Your glory is beyond speech and mind.
-रतद्व्यावृत्त्या यं चकितमभिधत्ते श्रुतिरपि ।
mama tvētāṁ vāṇīṁ guṇakathanapuṇyēna bhavataḥ punāmītyarthē:'smin puramathana buddhirvyavasitā
Even the scriptures, in their astonishment, can only hint at it.
स कस्य स्तोतव्यः कतिविधगुणः कस्य विषयः
tavaiśvaryaṁ yattajjagadudayarakṣāpralayakr̥t trayīvastuvyastaṁ tisr̥ṣu guṇabhinnāsu tanuṣu
Who is worthy of being praised, and who possesses such qualities?
पदे त्वर्वाचीने पतति न मनः कस्य न वचः ॥ २ ॥
abhavyānāmasmin varada ramaṇīyāmaramaṇīṁ vihantuṁ vyākrōśīṁ vidadhata ihaikē jaḍadhiyaḥ
Whose mind or speech does not falter in Your presence?
मधुस्फीता वाचः परमममृतं निर्मितवत-
kimīhaḥ kiṁ kāyaḥ sa khalu kimupāyastribhuvanaṁ kimādhārō dhātā sr̥jati kimupādāna iti ca
The sweet words of praise are indeed the nectar created by You.
-स्तव ब्रह्मन् किं वागपि सुरगुरोर्विस्मयपदम् ।
atarkyaiśvaryē tvayyanavasaraduḥsthō hatadhiyaḥ kutarkō:'yaṁ kāṁścinmukharayati mōhāya jagataḥ
O Brahman, what wonder is there in the speech of the divine teacher?
मम त्वेतां वाणीं गुणकथनपुण्येन भवतः
ajanmānō lōkāḥ kimavayavavantō:'pi jagatā- -madhiṣṭhātāraṁ kiṁ bhavavidhiranādr̥tya bhavati
May this voice of mine, filled with the merit of praising Your qualities, be accepted by You.
पुनामीत्यर्थेऽस्मिन् पुरमथन बुद्धिर्व्यवसिता ॥ ३ ॥
anīśō vā kuryādbhuvanajananē kaḥ parikarō yatō mandāstvāṁ pratyamaravara saṁśērata imē
In this city, where the intellect is engaged in the pursuit of the ultimate,
तवैश्वर्यं यत्तज्जगदुदयरक्षाप्रलयकृत्
trayī sāṅkhyaṁ yōgaḥ paśupatimataṁ vaiṣṇavamiti prabhinnē prasthānē paramidamadaḥ pathyamiti ca
Your power, which creates, protects, and dissolves the universe, is evident.
त्रयीवस्तुव्यस्तं तिसृषु गुणभिन्नासु तनुषु ।
rucīnāṁ vaicitryādr̥jukuṭila nānāpathajuṣāṁ nr̥ṇāmēkō gamyastvamasi payasāmarṇava iva
The three Vedas are scattered among the three distinct forms of beings.
अभव्यानामस्मिन् वरद रमणीयामरमणीं
mahōkṣaḥ khaṭvāṅgaṁ paraśurajinaṁ bhasma phaṇinaḥ kapālaṁ cētīyattava varada tantrōpakaraṇam
In this world, may the beautiful and delightful be established.
विहन्तुं व्याक्रोशीं विदधत इहैके जडधियः ॥ ४ ॥
surāstāṁ tāmr̥ddhiṁ dadhati tu bhavadbhrūpraṇihitāṁ na hi svātmārāmaṁ viṣayamr̥gatr̥ṣṇā bhramayati
What is this body, what is this means, in the three worlds?
किमीहः किं कायः स खलु किमुपायस्त्रिभुवनं
dhruvaṁ kaścit sarvaṁ sakalamaparastvadhruvamidaṁ parō dhrauvyādhrauvyē jagati gadati vyastaviṣayē
What is the foundation, what is created, and what is the cause?
किमाधारो धाता सृजति किमुपादान इति च ।
samastē:'pyētasmin puramathana tairvismita iva stuvañjihrēmi tvāṁ na khalu nanu dhr̥ṣṭā mukharatā
In the realm of the unthinkable, those who are troubled are indeed defeated.
अतर्क्यैश्वर्ये त्वय्यनवसरदुःस्थो हतधियः
tavaiśvaryaṁ yatnādyadupari viriñcirhariradhaḥ paricchēttuṁ yātāvanalamanalaskandhavapuṣaḥ
What delusion leads to the confusion of the world?
कुतर्कोऽयं कांश्चिन्मुखरयति मोहाय जगतः ॥ ५ ॥
tatō bhaktiśraddhābharagurugr̥ṇadbhyāṁ giriśa yat svayaṁ tasthē tābhyāṁ tava kimanuvr̥ttirna phalati
The beings born without birth, are they not parts of the universe?
अजन्मानो लोकाः किमवयववन्तोऽपि जगता-
ayatnādāpādya tribhuvanamavairavyatikaraṁ daśāsyō yadbāhūnabhr̥ta raṇakaṇḍūparavaśān
What is the cause of creation, if not the supreme being?
-मधिष्ठातारं किं भवविधिरनादृत्य भवति ।
śiraḥpadmaśrēṇīracitacaraṇāmbhōruhabalēḥ sthirāyāstvadbhaktēstripurahara visphūrjitamidam
Who can create the world if not the one who is unbounded?
अनीशो वा कुर्याद्भुवनजनने कः परिकरो
amuṣya tvatsēvāsamadhigatasāraṁ bhujavanaṁ balāt kailāsē:'pi tvadadhivasatau vikramayataḥ
From where do these beings come, if not from You, O Lord?
यतो मन्दास्त्वां प्रत्यमरवर संशेरत इमे ॥ ६ ॥
alabhyā pātālē:'pyalasacalitāṅguṣṭhaśirasi pratiṣṭhā tvayyāsīddhruvamupacitō muhyati khalaḥ
The three paths of the Vedas, Sankhya, Yoga, and the worship of Shiva and Vishnu,
त्रयी साङ्ख्यं योगः पशुपतिमतं वैष्णवमिति
yadr̥ddhiṁ sutrāmṇō varada paramōccairapi satī- -madhaścakrē bāṇaḥ parijanavidhēyatribhuvanaḥ
Are all valid paths leading to the ultimate truth.
प्रभिन्ने प्रस्थाने परमिदमदः पथ्यमिति च ।
na taccitraṁ tasmin varivasitari tvaccaraṇayō- -rna kasyāpyunnatyai bhavati śirasastvayyavanatiḥ
In the diversity of tastes and the crookedness of paths,
रुचीनां वैचित्र्यादृजुकुटिल नानापथजुषां
akāṇḍabrahmāṇḍakṣayacakitadēvāsurakr̥pā- -vidhēyasyāsīdyastrinayanaviṣaṁ saṁhr̥tavataḥ
You are the one who is to be followed, like the ocean of milk.
नृणामेको गम्यस्त्वमसि पयसामर्णव इव ॥ ७ ॥
sa kalmāṣaḥ kaṇṭhē tava na kurutē na śriyamahō vikārō:'pi ślāghyō bhuvanabhayabhaṅgavyasaninaḥ
O great one, with your staff, axe, skin, and ashes,
महोक्षः खट्वाङ्गं परशुरजिनं भस्म फणिनः
asiddhārthā naiva kvacidapi sadēvāsuranarē nivartantē nityaṁ jagati jayinō yasya viśikhāḥ
May You grant me the boon of Your divine knowledge and assistance.
कपालं चेतीयत्तव वरद तन्त्रोपकरणम् ।
sa paśyannīśa tvāmitarasurasādhāraṇamabhūt smaraḥ smartavyātmā na hi vaśiṣu pathyaḥ paribhavaḥ
The divine intoxication holds your brow,
सुरास्तां तामृद्धिं दधति तु भवद्भ्रूप्रणिहितां
mahī pādāghātādvrajati sahasā saṁśayapadaṁ padaṁ viṣṇōrbhrāmyadbhujaparigharugṇagrahagaṇam
For the desires of the senses do not sway the self-satisfied.
न हि स्वात्मारामं विषयमृगतृष्णा भ्रमयति ॥ ८ ॥
muhurdyaurdausthyaṁ yātyanibhr̥tajaṭātāḍitataṭā jagadrakṣāyai tvaṁ naṭasi nanu vāmaiva vibhutā
Indeed, everything is certain, all that is transient is this,
ध्रुवं कश्चित् सर्वं सकलमपरस्त्वध्रुवमिदं
viyadvyāpī tārāgaṇaguṇitaphēnōdgamaruciḥ pravāhō vārāṁ yaḥ pr̥ṣatalaghudr̥ṣṭaḥ śirasi tē
In the world, the eternal speaks of the fleeting.
परो ध्रौव्याध्रौव्ये जगति गदति व्यस्तविषये ।
jagaddvīpākāraṁ jaladhivalayaṁ tēna kr̥tami- -tyanēnaivōnnēyaṁ dhr̥tamahima divyaṁ tava vapuḥ
In this city, even the destroyers are astonished by the might.
समस्तेऽप्येतस्मिन् पुरमथन तैर्विस्मित इव
rathaḥ kṣōṇī yantā śatadhr̥tiragēndrō dhanurathō rathāṅgē candrārkau rathacaraṇapāṇiḥ śara iti
I sing your praises, for the bold do not speak without fear.
स्तुवञ्जिह्रेमि त्वां न खलु ननु धृष्टा मुखरता ॥ ९ ॥
didhakṣōstē kō:'yaṁ tripuratr̥ṇamāḍambaravidhi- -rvidhēyaiḥ krīḍantyō na khalu paratantrāḥ prabhudhiyaḥ
Your power, which surpasses even that of Vishnu and Hari,
तवैश्वर्यं यत्नाद्यदुपरि विरिञ्चिर्हरिरधः
haristē sāhasraṁ kamalabalimādhāya padayō- -ryadēkōnē tasmin nijamudaharannētrakamalam
Is to be contained by the form of the fire that consumes.
परिच्छेत्तुं यातावनलमनलस्कन्धवपुषः ।
gatō bhaktyudrēkaḥ pariṇatimasau cakravapuṣā trayāṇāṁ rakṣāyai tripurahara jāgarti jagatām
Then, with devotion and faith, the mountain of the guru,
ततो भक्तिश्रद्धाभरगुरुगृणद्भ्यां गिरिश यत्
kratau suptē jāgrattvamasi phalayōgē kratumatāṁ kva karma pradhvastaṁ phalati puruṣārādhanamr̥tē
Stands by itself; what is your connection with them that does not bear fruit?
स्वयं तस्थे ताभ्यां तव किमनुवृत्तिर्न फलति ॥ १० ॥
atastvāṁ samprēkṣya kratuṣu phaladānapratibhuvaṁ śrutau śraddhāṁ baddhvā dr̥ḍhaparikaraḥ karmasu janaḥ
Without effort, the three worlds are free from enmity.
अयत्नादापाद्य त्रिभुवनमवैरव्यतिकरं
kriyādakṣō dakṣaḥ kratupatiradhīśastanubhr̥tā- -mr̥ṣīṇāmārtvijyaṁ śaraṇada sadasyāḥ suragaṇāḥ
The ten-faced one, with arms like a mountain, is bound by the noise of battle.
दशास्यो यद्बाहूनभृत रणकण्डूपरवशान् ।
kratubhrēṣastvattaḥ kratuphalavidhānavyasaninō dhruvaṁ kartuḥ śraddhāvidhuramabhicārāya hi makhāḥ
The lotus-like heads of the strong, adorned with beautiful feet,
शिरःपद्मश्रेणीरचितचरणाम्भोरुहबलेः
prajānāthaṁ nātha prasabhamabhikaṁ svāṁ duhitaraṁ gataṁ rōhidbhūtāṁ riramayiṣumr̥ṣyasya vapuṣā
This is stable for your devotees, O destroyer of Tripura.
स्थिरायास्त्वद्भक्तेस्त्रिपुरहर विस्फूर्जितमिदम् ॥ ११ ॥
dhanuṣpāṇēryātaṁ divamapi sapatrākr̥tamamuṁ trasantaṁ tē:'dyāpi tyajati na mr̥gavyādharabhasaḥ
This one, who has attained the essence of your service, is strong.
अमुष्य त्वत्सेवासमधिगतसारं भुजवनं
svalāvaṇyāśaṁsādhr̥tadhanuṣamahnāya tr̥ṇavat puraḥ pluṣṭaṁ dr̥ṣṭvā puramathana puṣpāyudhamapi
Even in Kailasa, your presence is not easily attained.
बलात् कैलासेऽपि त्वदधिवसतौ विक्रमयतः ।
yadi straiṇaṁ dēvī yamanirata dēhārdhaghaṭanā- -davaiti tvāmaddhā bata varada mugdhā yuvatayaḥ
Even in the netherworld, the unsteady toe cannot be grasped.
अलभ्या पातालेऽप्यलसचलिताङ्गुष्ठशिरसि
śmaśānēṣvākrīḍā smarahara piśācāḥ sahacarā- -ścitābhasmālēpaḥ sragapi nr̥karōṭīparikaraḥ
Your establishment is certain; the wicked are bewildered by the accumulation.
प्रतिष्ठा त्वय्यासीद्ध्रुवमुपचितो मुह्यति खलः ॥ १२ ॥
amaṅgalyaṁ śīlaṁ tava bhavatu nāmaivamakhilaṁ tathāpi smartr̥̄ṇāṁ varada paramaṁ maṅgalamasi
The arrow of the supreme boon, even if high,
यदृद्धिं सुत्राम्णो वरद परमोच्चैरपि सती-
manaḥ pratyakcittē savidhamavadhāyāttamarutaḥ prahr̥ṣyadrōmāṇaḥ pramadasalilōtsaṅgitadr̥śaḥ
Is not surprising; in that place, your feet do not rise for anyone's elevation.
-मधश्चक्रे बाणः परिजनविधेयत्रिभुवनः ।
yadālōkyāhlādaṁ hrada iva nimajyāmr̥tamayē dadhatyantastattvaṁ kimapi yaminastat kila bhavān
The destruction of the unbounded universe is the result of divine grace,
न तच्चित्रं तस्मिन् वरिवसितरि त्वच्चरणयो-
tvamarkastvaṁ sōmastvamasi pavanastvaṁ hutavaha- -stvamāpastvaṁ vyōma tvamu dharaṇirātmā tvamiti ca
Which has gathered the poison of the three-eyed one.
-र्न कस्याप्युन्नत्यै भवति शिरसस्त्वय्यवनतिः ॥ १३ ॥
paricchinnāmēvaṁ tvayi pariṇatā bibhrati giraṁ na vidmastattattvaṁ vayamiha tu yattvaṁ na bhavasi
That impure one does not harm your throat, nor does wealth.
अकाण्डब्रह्माण्डक्षयचकितदेवासुरकृपा-
trayīṁ tisrō vr̥ttīstribhuvanamathō trīnapi surā- -nakārādyairvarṇaistribhirabhidadhat tīrṇavikr̥ti
Even the transformations are praiseworthy for the one who fears the world.
-विधेयस्यासीद्यस्त्रिनयनविषं संहृतवतः ।
turīyaṁ tē dhāma dhvanibhiravarundhānamaṇubhiḥ samastaṁ vyastaṁ tvāṁ śaraṇada gr̥ṇātyōmiti padam
Those who have failed do not retreat anywhere,
स कल्माषः कण्ठे तव न कुरुते न श्रियमहो
bhavaḥ śarvō rudraḥ paśupatirathōgraḥ sahamahāṁ- -stathā bhīmēśānāviti yadabhidhānāṣṭakamidam
In the world, the victorious ones are always armed with arrows.
विकारोऽपि श्लाघ्यो भुवनभयभङ्गव्यसनिनः ॥ १४ ॥
amuṣmin pratyēkaṁ pravicarati dēva śrutirapi priyāyāsmai dhāmnē pravihitanamasyō:'smi bhavatē
He sees you, O Lord, as the common one among the other deities.
असिद्धार्था नैव क्वचिदपि सदेवासुरनरे
namō nēdiṣṭhāya priyadava daviṣṭhāya ca namō namaḥ kṣōdiṣṭhāya smarahara mahiṣṭhāya ca namaḥ
Remembrance is to be remembered; indeed, the path of the wise is not to be scorned.
निवर्तन्ते नित्यं जगति जयिनो यस्य विशिखाः ।
namō varṣiṣṭhāya trinayana yaviṣṭhāya ca namō namaḥ sarvasmai tē tadidamiti śarvāya ca namaḥ
The earth suddenly trembles from the impact of your feet, O Lord.
स पश्यन्नीश त्वामितरसुरसाधारणमभूत्
bahularajasē viśvōtpattau bhavāya namō namaḥ prabalatamasē tatsaṁhārē harāya namō namaḥ
The foot of Vishnu wanders, surrounded by the multitude of celestial beings.
स्मरः स्मर्तव्यात्मा न हि वशिषु पथ्यः परिभवः ॥ १५ ॥
janasukhakr̥tē sattvōdriktau mr̥ḍāya namō namaḥ pramahasi padē nistraiguṇyē śivāya namō namaḥ
At times, the sky becomes heavy, struck by the waves of your matted hair.
मही पादाघाताद्व्रजति सहसा संशयपदं
kr̥śapariṇati cētaḥ klēśavaśyaṁ kva cēdaṁ kva ca tava guṇasīmōllaṅghinī śaśvadr̥ddhiḥ
For the protection of the world, you dance, indeed, with your left hand raised.
पदं विष्णोर्भ्राम्यद्भुजपरिघरुग्णग्रहगणम् ।
iti cakitamamandīkr̥tya māṁ bhaktirādhā- -dvarada caraṇayōstē vākyapuṣpōpahāram
The stars spread across the sky shine with the brilliance of your foam-like radiance.
मुहुर्द्यौर्दौस्थ्यं यात्यनिभृतजटाताडिततटा
asitagirisamaṁ syātkajjalaṁ sindhupātrē surataruvaraśākhā lēkhanī patramurvī
The flow of water, which is seen as light, rests upon your head.
जगद्रक्षायै त्वं नटसि ननु वामैव विभुता ॥ १६ ॥
likhati yadi gr̥hītvā śāradā sarvakālaṁ tadapi tava guṇānāmīśa pāraṁ na yāti
The world takes the form of an island, encircled by the ocean, created by you.
वियद्व्यापी तारागणगुणितफेनोद्गमरुचिः
asurasuramunīndrairarcitasyēndumaulē- -rgrathitaguṇamahimnō nirguṇasyēśvarasya
By this very act, your divine form is exalted with great strength.
प्रवाहो वारां यः पृषतलघुदृष्टः शिरसि ते ।
sakalagaṇavariṣṭhaḥ puṣpadantābhidhānaḥ ruciramalaghuvr̥ttaiḥ stōtramētaccakāra
The chariot of the earth is driven by the mighty Indra, who wields a bow.
जगद्द्वीपाकारं जलधिवलयं तेन कृतमि-
aharaharanavadyaṁ dhūrjaṭēḥ stōtramētat paṭhati paramabhaktyā śuddhacittaḥ pumān yaḥ
The chariot's wheel is the moon and the sun, with arrows in hand.
-त्यनेनैवोन्नेयं धृतमहिम दिव्यं तव वपुः ॥ १७ ॥
sa bhavati śivalōkē rudratulyastathātra pracurataradhanāyuḥ putravān kīrtimāṁśca
Who is this that plays with the grass of Tripura, surrounded by the divine?
रथः क्षोणी यन्ता शतधृतिरगेन्द्रो धनुरथो
mahēśānnāparō dēvō mahimnō nāparā stutiḥ
They are not truly dependent, O Lord, who play with the rules of the universe.
रथाङ्गे चन्द्रार्कौ रथचरणपाणिः शर इति ।
aghōrānnāparō mantrō nāsti tattvaṁ gurōḥ param
You, O Hari, hold a thousand lotuses at your feet,
दिधक्षोस्ते कोऽयं त्रिपुरतृणमाडम्बरविधि-
dīkṣā dānaṁ tapastīrthaṁ jñānaṁ yāgādikāḥ kriyāḥ
In that single lotus, you reveal your own beautiful eyes.
-र्विधेयैः क्रीडन्त्यो न खलु परतन्त्राः प्रभुधियः ॥ १८ ॥
mahimnaḥ stava pāṭhasya kalāṁ nārhanti ṣōḍaśīm
With devotion, the one who has attained transformation is now in your presence.
हरिस्ते साहस्रं कमलबलिमाधाय पदयो-
kusumadaśananāmā sarvagandharvarājaḥ śiśuśaśidharamaulērdēvadēvasya dāsaḥ
For the protection of the three worlds, O Tripura destroyer, you remain vigilant.
-र्यदेकोने तस्मिन् निजमुदहरन्नेत्रकमलम् ।
sa khalu nijamahimnō bhraṣṭa ēvāsya rōṣāt stavanamidamakārṣīddivyadivyaṁ mahimnaḥ
In the rituals, while sleeping, you are awake, granting the fruits of the sacrifices.
गतो भक्त्युद्रेकः परिणतिमसौ चक्रवपुषा
suravaramunipūjyaṁ svargamōkṣaikahētuṁ paṭhati yadi manuṣyaḥ prāñjalirnānyacētāḥ
Where is the action that is destroyed, yielding the fruits of human endeavors?
त्रयाणां रक्षायै त्रिपुरहर जागर्ति जगताम् ॥ १९ ॥
vrajati śivasamīpaṁ kinnaraiḥ stūyamānaḥ stavanamidamamōghaṁ puṣpadantapraṇītam
Thus, observing you, the one who grants the fruits of sacrifices,
क्रतौ सुप्ते जाग्रत्त्वमसि फलयोगे क्रतुमतां
āsamāptamidaṁ stōtraṁ puṇyaṁ gandharvabhāṣitam
The people, with firm faith, engage in their actions.
क्व कर्म प्रध्वस्तं फलति पुरुषाराधनमृते ।
anaupamyaṁ manōhāri śivamīśvaravarṇanam
The one skilled in action is the master of the sacrifices, the leader of the body.
अतस्त्वां सम्प्रेक्ष्य क्रतुषु फलदानप्रतिभुवं
ityēṣā vāṅmayī pūjā śrīmacchaṅkarapādayōḥ
The celestial beings are the protectors of the sacred rites.
श्रुतौ श्रद्धां बद्ध्वा दृढपरिकरः कर्मसु जनः ॥ २० ॥
arpitā tēna dēvēśaḥ prīyatāṁ mē sadāśivaḥ
The one who is devoted to you, O Lord, is free from the misfortunes of the sacrifices.
क्रियादक्षो दक्षः क्रतुपतिरधीशस्तनुभृता-
tava tattvaṁ na jānāmi kīdr̥śō:'si mahēśvara
Indeed, the sacrifices are for the welfare of the people, and you are their protector.
-मृषीणामार्त्विज्यं शरणद सदस्याः सुरगणाः ।
yādr̥śō:'si mahādēva tādr̥śāya namō namaḥ
O Lord of the people, you are fiercely protective of your daughter.
क्रतुभ्रेषस्त्वत्तः क्रतुफलविधानव्यसनिनो
ēkakālaṁ dvikālaṁ vā trikālaṁ yaḥ paṭhēnnaraḥ

śrīpuṣpadantamukhapaṅkajanirgatēna stōtrēṇa kilbiṣaharēṇa harapriyēṇa

गतं रोहिद्भूतां रिरमयिषुमृष्यस्य वपुषा ।
kaṇṭhasthitēna paṭhitēna samāhitēna suprīṇitō bhavati bhūtapatirmahēśaḥ

धनुष्पाणेर्यातं दिवमपि सपत्राकृतममुं
iti śrīpuṣpadanta viracitaṁ śrī śiva mahimnaḥ stōtram
