O divine river Kaveri, flowing with grace, you uplift the souls who seek your embrace, adorned with the brilliance of the moonlight's glow, in the realm of the auspicious, your beauty does show.
सिदधानामतिशायिशकतिविभवं सामरथयमूरतिं गुरुं कनदरपोदधतदुŚटदरपकरिनुछCहारदूलकीरतिपरभम
siddhānāmatiśāyiśaktivibhavaṃ sāmarthyamūrtiṃ guruṃ kandarpoddhataduŚṭadarpakarinuchChārdūlakīrtiprabham
O Guru of the mighty, whose form is divine, bestowing great powers, in your presence we shine, with the strength of your teachings, we conquer the strife, guiding us gently, through the journey of life.
दुŚटारणयविनाशनैकबलभृ^िददावानलं शोभनं वनदे कुमभजमदगुतं भवभयभरानतयरणवापोशनम
duŚṭāraṇyavināśanaikabalabhṛ^iddāvānalaṃ śobhanaṃ vande kumbhajamadgutaṃ bhavabhayabhrāntyarṇavāpośanam
You are the destroyer of troubles, the source of all might, in the forest of existence, you bring forth the light, freeing us from the fears that bind us in chains, may we find liberation, as your love remains.
िति शरीमत परमहंसपरिवराजकाछारय सदगुरू भगवान शरीधरसवामीमहाराजविरछितं शरी गसतयमहरŚिसतोत्रं समपूरणम
iti śrīmat paramahaṃsaparivrājakāchārya sadgurū bhagavāna śrīdharasvāmīmahārājavirachitaṃ śrī agastyamaharŚistotraṃ sampūrṇam
Thus, this sacred hymn, by the great sage bestowed, is a treasure of wisdom, on the path of the road, may all who recite it, find blessings untold, in the grace of the Guru, their spirits unfold.
