Sitaya Kritam Agni Stotram or Vahnya Ashtakam ..
The Sitaya Kritam Agni Stotram is a hymn dedicated to Agni, seeking his blessings for purification and spiritual growth.
सीता ुवाछ - ुपतसथे महायोगं सरवदोŚविनाशनम
sītā uvācha - upatasthe mahāyogaṃ sarvadoŚavināśanam
Sita speaks: To the one who resides in the great yoga, the destroyer of all sorrows, I bow.
(सरवलोकविदायकम) कृ^िताञजली रामपतनी साकŚातपतिमिवाछयुतम
(sarvalokavidāyakam) kṛ^itāñjalī rāmapatnī sākŚātpatimivāchyutam
With hands folded, I honor the divine consort of Rama, who embodies the essence of the Supreme.
नमसयामि महायोगं कृ^ितानतं गहनं परम
namasyāmi mahāyogaṃ kṛ^itāntaṃ gahanaṃ param
I bow to the profound and eternal yoga, the one who is the ultimate refuge.
(कृ^शानुं गहवरं परम
(kṛ^śānuṃ gahvaraṃ param
To the one who is the essence of all beings, the supreme lord, I offer my reverence.
) दाहकं सरवभूतानामीशानं कालरूपिणम
) dāhakaṃ sarvabhūtānāmīśānaṃ kālarūpiṇam
The one who burns away all existence, the Lord of time, I humbly salute.
नमसये पावकं देवं साकŚिणं विशवतोमुखम
namasye pāvakaṃ devaṃ sākŚiṇaṃ viśvatomukham
I bow to the sacred fire, the witness of all, whose face is everywhere.
(परपदये पावकं देवं शाशवतं विशवरूपिणम
(prapadye pāvakaṃ devaṃ śāśvataṃ viśvarūpiṇam
To the eternal fire, the embodiment of the universe, I offer my devotion.
) ातमानं दीपतवपुŚं सरवभूतहृ^िदि सथितम
) ātmānaṃ dīptavapuŚaṃ sarvabhūtahṛ^idi sthitam
I seek refuge in the radiant form, who resides in the hearts of all beings.
परपदये शरणं वहनिं बरहमणयं बरहमरूपिणम
prapadye śaraṇaṃ vahniṃ brahmaṇyaṃ brahmarūpiṇam
I take shelter in the divine fire, the ultimate reality, the embodiment of Brahman.
भूतेशं कृ^िततिवसनं शरणयं परमं पदम
bhūteśaṃ kṛ^ittivasanaṃ śaraṇyaṃ paramaṃ padam
To the Lord of all beings, the supreme refuge, I bow with reverence.
(योगिनं कृ^िततिवसनं भूतेशं) ों परपदये जगनमूरततिं परभवं सरवतेजसाम
(yoginaṃ kṛ^ittivasanaṃ bhūteśaṃ) oṃ prapadye jaganmūrttiṃ prabhavaṃ sarvatejasām
To the yogi, the Lord of all beings, I offer my devotion, the source of all light.
(तं परपदये) महायोगेशवरं वहनिमादितयं परमेŚठिनम
(taṃ prapadye) mahāyogeśvaraṃ vahnimādityaṃ parameŚṭhinam
I seek refuge in the great Lord of yoga, the ancient one, the supreme ruler.
(महायोगीशवरं) परपदये शरणं रुदरं महागरासं त्रिशूलिनम
(mahāyogīśvaraṃ) prapadye śaraṇaṃ rudraṃ mahāgrāsaṃ triśūlinam
To the great Lord Shiva, the three-pronged one, I humbly bow.
कालागनिं योगिनामीशं भोगमोकŚफलपरदम
kālāgniṃ yogināmīśaṃ bhogamokŚaphalapradam
To the Lord of time, the essence of yogis, the giver of liberation, I offer my homage.
परपदये तवां विरूपाकŚं भूरभुवःसवःसवरूपिणम
prapadye tvāṃ virūpākŚaṃ bhūrbhuvaḥsvaḥsvarūpiṇam
I take refuge in you, the one of many forms, the essence of all worlds.
हिरणयमये गृ^िहे गुपतं महानतममितौजसम
hiraṇyamaye gṛ^ihe guptaṃ mahāntamamitaujasam
In the golden abode, hidden and supreme, I bow to the one of immense radiance.
(हिरणमये ) वैशवानरं परपदये.हं सरवभूतेŚववसथितम
(hiraṇmaye ) vaiśvānaraṃ prapadye.ahaṃ sarvabhūteŚvavasthitam
To the universal fire, I offer my devotion, who resides in all beings.
हवयकवयवहं देवं परपदये वहनिमीशवरम
havyakavyavahaṃ devaṃ prapadye vahnimīśvaram
I take refuge in the divine, the Lord of the universe, who is the source of all.
परपदये ततपरं तततवं वरेणयं सवितुः शिवम
prapadye tatparaṃ tattvaṃ vareṇyaṃ savituḥ śivam
I seek that supreme essence, the auspicious light of the sun.
भरगमगनिपरं जयोती रकŚ मां हवयवाहन
bhargamagniparaṃ jyotī rakŚa māṃ havyavāhana
O fire, the supreme light, protect me, as I offer my prayers.
(सवरगयमगनिं परं जयोतिः) िति वहनयŚटकं जपतवा रामपतनी यशसविनी
(svargyamagniṃ paraṃ jyotiḥ) iti vahnyaŚṭakaṃ japtvā rāmapatnī yaśasvinī
With devotion, I chant this hymn, the glory of Rama's consort.
