Sri Jwalamukhi Ashtakam - śrī jvālāmukhi aṣṭakam - Stotra Nidhi

I bow to Jvālāmukhī, who resides in the beautiful forest of Jālandhara, surrounded by the radiant mountains.
आशआतइशआयइपहअलअकअलपअनअकअलपअवअललईं जवआलआमउकहईमअबहइमउकहईबहअवअनआयअ वअनद
āśātiśāyiphalakalpanakalpavallīṁ jvālāmukhīmabhimukhībhavanāya vandē
May she, the wish-fulfilling vine of hopes, grant me her grace.
जयषटहआ कवअचइत कवअचइदउदआरअकअलआ कअनइषटहआ मअदहयआ कवअचइत कवअचइदअनउदबहअवअबहआवअबहअवयआ
jyēṣṭhā kvacit kvacidudārakalā kaniṣṭhā madhyā kvacit kvacidanudbhavabhāvabhavyā
In some places, she is the elder, and in others, she is the younger;
कआपयअनकअवइदहअयआ पअरइबहआवयअमआनआ जवआलआमउकहई सउमउकहअबहआवअमउरईकअरतउ
ēkāpyanēkavidhayā paribhāvyamānā jvālāmukhī sumukhabhāvamurīkarōtu
In some, she is the middle one, manifesting various glorious forms.
अशरआनतअनइरयअदअमअलजवअलअवआरइदहआरआ सअनदहआवयअमआनअबहअवअनआनतअरअजआगअरऊकआ
aśrāntaniryadamalōjvalavāridhārā sandhāvyamānabhavanāntarajāgarūkā
Let Jvālāmukhī, with her beautiful face, bestow her blessings upon me.
मआतअरजवअलअजजवअलअनअशआनतअशइकहआनउकआरआ रऊपअचचहअटआ जअयअतइ कआचअनअ तआवअकईनआ
mātarjvalajjvalanaśāntaśikhānukārā rūpacchaṭā jayati kācana tāvakīnā
The unceasing stream of her brilliant light flows like a river,
मअनय वइहआरअकउतउकषउ शइवआनउरऊपअं रऊपअं नयअरऊपइ कहअलउ यअतसअहअसआ बहअवअतयआ
manyē vihārakutukēṣu śivānurūpaṁ rūpaṁ nyarūpi khalu yatsahasā bhavatyā
Awakening the inner consciousness of those who dwell in her abode.
तअतसऊचअनआरतहअमइहअ शऐलअवअनआनतअरआल जवआलआमउकहईतयअबहइदहअयआ सपहउटअमउचयअसदयअ
tatsūcanārthamiha śailavanāntarālē jvālāmukhītyabhidhayā sphuṭamucyasē:’dya
O mother, resembling the peaceful flame of knowledge,
सअतयआ जवअलअततअनउसअमउदगअतअपआवअकआरचइ रजवआलआमउकहईतयअबहइमरशअनतइ पउरआणअमइशरआः
satyā jvalattanusamudgatapāvakārci- -rjvālāmukhītyabhimr̥śanti purāṇamiśrāḥ
May the form of your divine presence shine forth.
आसतआं वअयअं तउ बहअजअतआं दउरइतआनइ दअगदहउं जवआलआतमअनआ पअरइणअतआ बहअवअतईतइ वइदमअः
āstāṁ vayaṁ tu bhajatāṁ duritāni dagdhuṁ jvālātmanā pariṇatā bhavatīti vidmaḥ
I believe that your form is indeed auspicious in the playful pastimes of the divine.
यआवअत तवअदईयअचअरअणआमबउजअयरनअ रआगअ सतआवअत कउतअः सउकहअकअरआणइ हइ दअरशअनआनइ
yāvat tvadīyacaraṇāmbujayōrna rāga- -stāvat kutaḥ sukhakarāṇi hi darśanāni
That which is not truly formed, yet appears to be so,
परआक पउणयअपआकअबअलअतअः परअसरत तउ तअसमइन नआसतयवअ वअसतउ बहउवअन सउकहअकरननअ यअत सयआत
prāk puṇyapākabalataḥ prasr̥tē tu tasmin nāstyēva vastu bhuvanē sukhakr̥nna yat syāt
Is clearly indicated here in the forest of mountains,
आतमअसवअरऊपअमइहअ शअरमअसअरऊपअमवअ वअरवअरतइ कइनतउ जअगअदअमबअ नअ यआवअदतअत
ātmasvarūpamiha śarmasarūpamēva varvarti kintu jagadamba na yāvadētat
By the name Jvālāmukhī, which is spoken of in the scriptures.
उदगहआटयअत कअरउणअयआ गउरउतआं वअहअनतयआ तआवअत सउकहअसयअ कअणइकआपइ नअ जआयअततरअ
udghāṭyatē karuṇayā gurutāṁ vahantyā tāvat sukhasya kaṇikāpi na jāyatē:’tra
The ancient texts declare that the flames of Jvālāmukhī arise from the ocean of truth.
आसतआं मअतइरमअमअ सअदआ तअवअ पआदअमऊल तआं चआलअयननअ चअपअलअं मअनअ तअदअमबअ
āstāṁ matirmama sadā tava pādamūlē tāṁ cālayēnna capalaṁ mana ētadamba
We, who are devoted to her, wish to burn away our misfortunes.
यआच पउनअः पउनअरइदअं परअणइपअतयअ मआतअ रजवआलआमउकहइ परअणअतअवआञचहइतअसइददहइद तवआम
yācē punaḥ punaridaṁ praṇipatya māta- -rjvālāmukhi praṇatavāñchitasiddhidē tvām
We know that by becoming one with her essence, we attain liberation.
इतइ शरई जवआलआमउकहई अषटअकअम
iti śrī jvālāmukhī aṣṭakam
As long as there is no attachment to your lotus feet,
