Sri Rudra Stuti
The Sri Rudra Stuti is a hymn that praises Lord Shiva, seeking his blessings for peace, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles.
नमो देवाय महते देवदेवाय शूलिने । त्र्यम्बकाय त्रिनेत्राय योगिनां पतये नमः ॥ १ ॥
namō dēvāya mahatē dēvadēvāya śūlinē
Salutations to the great god, the god of gods, the one who wields the trident.
नमोऽस्तु देवदेवाय महादेवाय वेधसे । शम्भवे स्थाणवे नित्यं शिवाय परमात्मने ॥ २ ॥
tryambakāya trinētrāya yōgināṁ patayē namaḥ
Salutations to the three-eyed one, the three-eyed lord, the master of yogis.
नमः सोमाय रुद्राय महाग्रासाय हेतवे । प्रपद्येहं विरूपाक्षं शरण्यं ब्रह्मचारिणम् ॥ ३ ॥
namō:'stu dēvadēvāya mahādēvāya vēdhasē
Salutations to the god of gods, the great god, the one who is the essence of the Vedas.
महादेवं महायोगमीशानं त्वम्बिकापतिम् । योगिनां योगदाकारं योगमायासमाहृतम् ॥ ४ ॥
śambhavē sthāṇavē nityaṁ śivāya paramātmanē
Salutations to the auspicious one, the eternal one, the supreme soul, Shiva.
योगिनां गुरुमाचार्यं योगगम्यं सनातनम् । संसारतारणं रुद्रं ब्रह्माणं ब्रह्मणोऽधिपम् ॥ ५ ॥
namaḥ sōmāya rudrāya mahāgrāsāya hētavē
Salutations to the moon, to Rudra, the great devourer, the cause of all.
शाश्वतं सर्वगं शान्तं ब्रह्माणं ब्राह्मणप्रियम् । कपर्दिनं कलामूर्तिममूर्तिममरेश्वरम् ॥ ६ ॥
prapadyēhaṁ virūpākṣaṁ śaraṇyaṁ brahmacāriṇam
I surrender to you, O Virupaksha, the refuge of the celibate.
एकमूर्तिं महामूर्तिं वेदवेद्यं सतां गतिम् । नीलकण्ठं विश्वमूर्तिं व्यापिनं विश्वरेतसम् ॥ ७ ॥
mahādēvaṁ mahāyōgamīśānaṁ tvambikāpatim
To the great god, the supreme yogi, the lord of Bhavani.
कालाग्निं कालदहनं कामिनं कामनाशनम् । नमामि गिरिशं देवं चन्द्रावयवभूषणम् ॥ ८ ॥
yōgināṁ yōgadākāraṁ yōgamāyāsamāhr̥tam
You are the embodiment of yoga for the yogis, the essence of yoga, the eternal one.
त्रिलोचनं लेलिहानमादित्यं परमेष्ठिनम् । उग्रं पशुपतिं भीमं भास्करं तमसः परम् ॥ ९ ॥
yōgināṁ gurumācāryaṁ yōgagamyaṁ sanātanam
You are the one who helps cross the ocean of existence, Rudra, the lord of Brahman.
इति श्रीकूर्मपुराणे व्यासोक्त रुद्रस्तुतिः ॥
saṁsāratāraṇaṁ rudraṁ brahmāṇaṁ brahmaṇō:'dhipam
You are eternal, all-pervading, peaceful, beloved by the Brahmins.
Sri Mahadeva Stotram – श्री महादेव स्तोत्रम्
śāśvataṁ sarvagaṁ śāntaṁ brahmāṇaṁ brāhmaṇapriyam
To the one with matted hair, the embodiment of time, the immortal lord.
Rudradhyaya Stuti (Rudra Namaka Stotram) – रुद्राध्याय स्तुतिः (रुद्र नमक स्तोत्रम्)
kapardinaṁ kalāmūrtimamūrtimamarēśvaram
You are the one form, the great form, the one known through the Vedas, the destination of the virtuous.
Sri Rudra Stuti – श्री रुद्र स्तुतिः
ēkamūrtiṁ mahāmūrtiṁ vēdavēdyaṁ satāṁ gatim
To the blue-throated one, the universal form, the all-pervading essence, the source of the universe.
