O Lord Shiva, the great god, the auspicious one, the one with the bow, the moon-crested one.
वामदेवो विरूपाक्षः कपर्दी नीललोहितः
vāmadēvō virūpākṣaḥ kapardī nīlalōhitaḥ
The Lord of the left, the one with a deformed eye, the matted hair, the one with a blue hue.
शङ्करः शूलपाणिश्च खट्वाङ्गी विष्णुवल्लभः
śaṅkaraḥ śūlapāṇiśca khaṭvāṅgī viṣṇuvallabhaḥ
The auspicious one, the one with the trident, the one with the staff, the beloved of Vishnu.
शिपिविष्टो:'म्बिकानाथः श्रीकण्ठो भक्तवत्सलः
śipiviṣṭō:'mbikānāthaḥ śrīkaṇṭhō bhaktavatsalaḥ
The one who is the embodiment of the goddess, the Lord of the auspicious one, the one who is dear to devotees.

गङ्गाधरो ललाटाक्षः कालकालः कृपानिधिः

The bearer of the Ganges, the one with a third eye, the one who is time itself, the treasure of compassion.
भीमः परशुहस्तश्च मृगपाणिर्जटाधरः

कैलासवासी कवची कठोरस्त्रिपुरान्तकः

वृषाङ्को वृषभारूढो भस्मोद्धूलितविग्रहः

सर्वज्ञः परमात्मा च सोमसूर्याग्निलोचनः

भुजङ्गभूषणो भर्गो गिरिधन्वी गिरिप्रियः

The one adorned with serpents, the radiant one, the bowman of the mountains, dear to the mountains,
कृत्तिवासाः पुरारातिर्भगवान् प्रमथाधिपः
kr̥ttivāsāḥ purārātirbhagavān pramathādhipaḥ
The one clothed in skin, the destroyer of the three cities, the Lord of the Ganas,
मृत्युञ्जयः सूक्ष्मतनुर्जगद्व्यापी जगद्गुरुः
mr̥tyuñjayaḥ sūkṣmatanurjagadvyāpī jagadguruḥ
The conqueror of death, subtle in form, pervading the universe, the teacher of the world,
व्योमकेशो महासेनजनकश्चारुविक्रमः
vyōmakēśō mahāsēnajanakaścāruvikramaḥ
The one with hair like the sky, the father of great armies, the one with charming prowess,
रुद्रो भूतपतिः स्थाणुरहिर्भुध्न्यो दिगम्बरः
rudrō bhūtapatiḥ sthāṇurahirbhudhnyō digambaraḥ
Rudra, the lord of beings, the eternal one, the one who is naked,
अष्टमूर्तिरनेकात्मा सात्त्विकः शुद्धविग्रहः
aṣṭamūrtiranēkātmā sāttvikaḥ śuddhavigrahaḥ
The eight-formed, the one with many souls, the pure embodiment of goodness,
शाश्वतः खण्डपरशुरजः पाशविमोचकः
śāśvataḥ khaṇḍaparaśurajaḥ pāśavimōcakaḥ
The eternal one, the one with a cleaver, the liberator from bondage,
मृडः पशुपतिर्देवो महादेवो:'व्ययो हरिः
mr̥ḍaḥ paśupatirdēvō mahādēvō:'vyayō hariḥ
The gentle one, the lord of creatures, the great god, the imperishable Hari,
पूषदन्तभिदव्यग्रो दक्षाध्वरहरो हरः
pūṣadantabhidavyagrō dakṣādhvaraharō haraḥ
The one with the tusks of a boar, the one who removes obstacles, the remover of obstacles,
भगनेत्रभिदव्यक्तः सहस्राक्षः सहस्रपात्
bhaganētrabhidavyaktaḥ sahasrākṣaḥ sahasrapāt
The one with a thousand eyes, the one with a thousand feet,
अपवर्गप्रदो:'नन्तस्तारकः परमेश्वरः
apavargapradō:'nantastārakaḥ paramēśvaraḥ
The bestower of liberation, the infinite one, the supreme lord.
एवं श्री शम्भुदेवस्य नाम्नामष्टोत्तरंशतम्
ēvaṁ śrī śambhudēvasya nāmnāmaṣṭōttaraṁśatam
