dēvā ūcuḥ
Salutations to you, O Lord of the Gods, salutations to you, O abode of compassion.
नमस्ते सर्वजन्तूनां भुक्तिमुक्तिफलप्रद ॥ १ ॥
namastē dēvadēvēśa namastē karuṇālaya
Salutations to you, who grants the fruits of enjoyment and liberation to all beings.
नमस्ते सर्वलोकानां सृष्टिस्थित्यन्तकारण ।
namastē sarvajantūnāṁ bhuktimuktiphalaprada
Salutations to you, the cause of creation, preservation, and dissolution of all worlds.
नमस्ते भवभीतानां भवभीतिविमर्दन ॥ २ ॥
namastē sarvalōkānāṁ sr̥ṣṭisthityantakāraṇa
Salutations to you, who removes the fears of those who are afraid of existence.
नमस्ते वेदवेदान्तैरर्चनीय द्विजोत्तमैः ।

भक्तचित्तसमासीन ब्रह्मविष्णुशिवात्मक ॥ २२ ॥
rakṣa rakṣa mahādēva kṣamasva karuṇālaya
You who reside in the hearts of devotees, embodying Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
इति श्रीस्कान्दपुराणे सूतसंहितायां शिवमाहात्म्यखण्डे तृतीयोऽध्याये नन्दीश्वरविष्णुसंवादे ईश्वरप्रतिपादन स्तोत्रम् ।
bhaktacittasamāsīna brahmaviṣṇuśivātmaka
Thus, in the Śrī Skāndapurāṇa, in the Sūta Saṁhitā, in the section on the greatness of Shiva, in the third chapter, in the dialogue between Nandi and Vishnu, is the hymn for the presentation of the Lord.
