श्री सुब्रह्मण्य स्तोत्राणि
skandō guhaḥ ṣaṇmukhaśca phālanētrasutaḥ prabhuḥ
The lord of Skanda, Guha, is also known as the six-faced one, the son of Phālanētra.
श्री सुब्रह्मण्य अष्टोत्तरशतनामावली
piṅgalaḥ kr̥ttikāsūnuḥ śikhivāhō dviṣaḍbhujaḥ
He is the one with a tawny complexion, the son of Krittikā, the one who rides a peacock, and has six arms.
स्कन्दो गुहः षण्मुखश्च फालनेत्रसुतः प्रभुः । पिङ्गलः कृत्तिकासूनुः शिखिवाहो द्विषड्भुजः ॥ १ ॥
dviṣaṇṇētraḥ śaktidharaḥ piśitāśaprabhañjanaḥ
He is the one with three eyes, the bearer of power, the destroyer of the flesh-eating demons.
द्विषण्णेत्रः शक्तिधरः पिशिताशप्रभञ्जनः । तारकासुरसंहारी रक्षोबलविमर्दनः ॥ २ ॥
tārakāsurasaṁhārī rakṣōbalavimardanaḥ
He is the slayer of the demon Tārakā, the one who crushes the forces of evil.
मत्तः प्रमत्तोन्मत्तश्च सुरसैन्यसुरक्षकः । देवसेनापतिः प्राज्ञः कृपालुर्भक्तवत्सलः ॥ ३ ॥
mattaḥ pramattōnmattaśca surasainyasurakṣakaḥ
He is intoxicated, maddened, and the protector of the divine army.
उमासुतः शक्तिधरः कुमारः क्रौञ्चदारणः । सेनानीरग्निजन्मा च विशाखः शङ्करात्मजः ॥ ४ ॥
dēvasēnāpatiḥ prājñaḥ kr̥pālurbhaktavatsalaḥ
He is the commander of the celestial hosts, wise, compassionate, and devoted to his devotees.
शिवस्वामी गणस्वामी सर्वस्वामी सनातनः । अनन्तशक्तिरक्षोभ्यः पार्वतीप्रियनन्दनः ॥ ५ ॥
umāsutaḥ śaktidharaḥ kumāraḥ krauñcadāraṇaḥ
He is the son of Uma, the bearer of power, the youthful one, and the one who wields the krauñca weapon.
गङ्गासुतः शरोद्भूत आहूतः पावकात्मजः । जृम्भः प्रजृम्भः उज्जृम्भः कमलासनसंस्तुतः ॥ ६ ॥
sēnānīragnijanmā ca viśākhaḥ śaṅkarātmajaḥ
He is the leader of the army, born of fire, and the one known as Viśākha, the son of Śankara.
एकवर्णो द्विवर्णश्च त्रिवर्णः सुमनोहरः । चतुर्वर्णः पञ्चवर्णः प्रजापतिरहर्पतिः ॥ ७ ॥
śivasvāmī gaṇasvāmī sarvasvāmī sanātanaḥ
He is the lord of Shiva, the lord of the Ganas, the eternal master of all.
अग्निगर्भः शमीगर्भो विश्वरेताः सुरारिहा । हरिद्वर्णः शुभकरः वटुश्च वटुवेषभृत् ॥ ८ ॥
anantaśaktirakṣōbhyaḥ pārvatīpriyanandanaḥ
He is the one with infinite power, the beloved of Pārvatī, and the one who cannot be disturbed.
पूषा गभस्तिर्गहनः चन्द्रवर्णः कलाधरः । मायाधरो महामायी कैवल्यः शङ्करात्मजः ॥ ९ ॥
gaṅgāsutaḥ śarōdbhūta āhūtaḥ pāvakātmajaḥ
He is the son of the Ganges, born from the arrow, called upon, and the one born of fire.
विश्वयोनिरमेयात्मा तेजोनिधिरनामयः । परमेष्ठी परब्रह्मा वेदगर्भो विराट्सुतः ॥ १० ॥
jr̥mbhaḥ prajr̥mbhaḥ ujjr̥mbhaḥ kamalāsanasaṁstutaḥ
He is the one who yawns, who stretches, and who is praised by those seated on the lotus.
पुलिन्दकन्याभर्ता च महासारस्वतावृतः । आश्रिताखिलदाता च चोरघ्नो रोगनाशनः ॥ ११ ॥
ēkavarṇō dvivarṇaśca trivarṇaḥ sumanōharaḥ
He is of one color, two colors, three colors, and charming with four colors and five colors.
अनन्तमूर्तिरानन्दः शिखिण्डिकृतकेतनः । डम्भः परमडम्भश्च महाडम्भो वृषाकपिः ॥ १२ ॥
caturvarṇaḥ pañcavarṇaḥ prajāpatiraharpatiḥ
He is the creator of all beings, the one who is the lord of all.
कारणोपात्तदेहश्च कारणातीतविग्रहः । अनीश्वरोऽमृतः प्राणः प्राणायामपरायणः ॥ १३ ॥
agnigarbhaḥ śamīgarbhō viśvarētāḥ surārihā
He is the one born of fire, the one born of the Shami tree, the universal essence, and the enemy of the gods.
विरुद्धहन्ता वीरघ्नो रक्तास्यः श्यामकन्धरः । सुब्रह्मण्यो गुहः प्रीतो ब्रह्मण्यो ब्राह्मणप्रियः ।
haridvarṇaḥ śubhakaraḥ vaṭuśca vaṭuvēṣabhr̥t
The one with the golden hue, the bestower of auspiciousness, and the one who wears the attire of a youth,
वंशवृद्धिकरो वेदवेद्योऽक्षयफलप्रदः ॥ १४ ॥
pūṣā gabhastirgahanaḥ candravarṇaḥ kalādharaḥ
The sun with brilliant rays, the moon-colored, the bearer of arts,
इति श्री सुब्रह्मण्याष्टोत्तरशतनाम स्तोत्रम् ।
māyādharō mahāmāyī kaivalyaḥ śaṅkarātmajaḥ
The master of illusion, the great illusionist, the essence of liberation, the son of Shankara,
