ऋषय ऊचुः ।
sarvaśāstrārthatattvajña sarvalōkōpakāraka
The sages said
सर्वशास्त्रार्थतत्त्वज्ञ सर्वलोकोपकारक । वयं चातिथयः प्राप्ता आतिथेयोऽसि सुव्रत ॥ १ ॥
vayaṁ cātithayaḥ prāptā ātithēyō:'si suvrata
Those who know the essence of all scriptures and are beneficial to all beings,
ज्ञानदानेन संसारसागरात्तारयस्व नः । कलौ कलुषचित्ता ये नराः पापरताः सदा ॥ २ ॥
jñānadānēna saṁsārasāgarāttārayasva naḥ
We have come to you, O guest, who are of good vows.
केन स्तोत्रेण मुच्यन्ते सर्वपातकबन्धनात् । इष्टसिद्धिकरं पुण्यं दुःखदारिद्र्यनाशनम् ॥ ३ ॥
kalau kaluṣacittā yē narāḥ pāparatāḥ sadā
By granting knowledge, may you deliver us from the ocean of worldly existence.
सर्वरोगहरं स्तोत्रं सूत नो वक्तुमर्हसि । श्रीसूत उवाच ।
kēna stōtrēṇa mucyantē sarvapātakabandhanāt
In this age, those whose hearts are polluted and who are always inclined towards sin,
शृणुध्वं ऋषयः सर्वे नैमिशारण्यवासिनः ॥ ४ ॥
iṣṭasiddhikaraṁ puṇyaṁ duḥkhadāridryanāśanam
By which hymn can they be liberated from all sinful bonds?
तत्त्वज्ञानतपोनिष्ठाः सर्वशास्त्रविशारदाः ।
sarvarōgaharaṁ stōtraṁ sūta nō vaktumarhasi
That which grants desired results, is virtuous, and removes suffering and poverty,
स्वयम्भुवा पुरा प्रोक्तं नारदाय महात्मने ॥ ५ ॥
śrīsūta uvāca
A hymn that cures all diseases, O Soot, you should speak of it.
तदहं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि श्रोतुं कौतूहलं यदि ।
śr̥ṇudhvaṁ r̥ṣayaḥ sarvē naimiśāraṇyavāsinaḥ
Soot said
ऋषय ऊचुः । किमाह भगवान्ब्रह्मा नारदाय महात्मने ॥ ६ ॥
tattvajñānatapōniṣṭhāḥ sarvaśāstraviśāradāḥ
Listen, O sages, all of you who dwell in Naimisha forest,
सूतपुत्र महाभाग वक्तुमर्हसि साम्प्रतम् । श्रीसूत उवाच ।
svayambhuvā purā prōktaṁ nāradāya mahātmanē
Established in the knowledge of truth and skilled in all scriptures,
दिव्यसिंहासनासीनं सर्वदेवैरभिष्टुतम् ॥ ७ ॥
tadahaṁ sampravakṣyāmi śrōtuṁ kautūhalaṁ yadi
It was previously spoken by the Self-born to the great sage Narada.
साष्टाङ्गं प्रणिपत्यैनं ब्रह्माणं भुवनेश्वरम् ।
r̥ṣaya ūcuḥ
Now, if you are curious, I shall narrate it.
नारदः परिपप्रच्छ कृताञ्जलिरुपस्थितः ॥ ८ ॥
kimāha bhagavānbrahmā nāradāya mahātmanē
The sages said
नारद उवाच ।
sūtaputra mahābhāga vaktumarhasi sāmpratam
What did the great Brahma say to the great sage Narada?
लोकनाथ सुरश्रेष्ठ सर्वज्ञ करुणाकर । षण्मुखस्य परं स्तोत्रं पावनं पापनाशनम् ॥ ९ ॥
śrīsūta uvāca
O son of the Soot, you are worthy to speak now.
हे धातः पुत्रवात्सल्यात्तद्वद प्रणताय मे । उपदिश्य तु मामेवं रक्ष रक्ष कृपानिधे ॥ १० ॥
divyasiṁhāsanāsīnaṁ sarvadēvairabhiṣṭutam
The great sage Soot said,
ब्रह्मोवाच । शृणु वक्ष्यामि देवर्षे स्तवराजमिदं परम् ।
sāṣṭāṅgaṁ praṇipatyainaṁ brahmāṇaṁ bhuvanēśvaram
Seated on a divine throne and praised by all the gods,
मातृकामालिकायुक्तं ज्ञानमोक्षसुखप्रदम् ॥ ११ ॥
nāradaḥ paripapraccha kr̥tāñjalirupasthitaḥ
I bow down with all my limbs to that Brahman, the Lord of the Universe.
सहस्राणि च नामानि षण्मुखस्य महात्मनः ।
nārada uvāca
Narada, with folded hands, approached and inquired.
यानि नामानि दिव्यानि दुःखरोगहराणि च ॥ १२ ॥
lōkanātha suraśrēṣṭha sarvajña karuṇākara
Narada said,
तानि नामानि वक्ष्यामि कृपया त्वयि नारद ।
ṣaṇmukhasya paraṁ stōtraṁ pāvanaṁ pāpanāśanam
O Lord of the worlds, best among the gods, all-knowing and compassionate,
जपमात्रेण सिद्ध्यन्ति मनसा चिन्तितान्यपि ॥ १३ ॥
hē dhātaḥ putravātsalyāttadvada praṇatāya mē
Please tell me the supreme hymn of Lord Shanmukha, which purifies and removes sins.
इहामुत्र परं भोगं लभते नात्र संशयः ।
upadiśya tu māmēvaṁ rakṣa rakṣa kr̥pānidhē
O Lord, due to your affection for your son, please instruct me,
इदं स्तोत्रं परं पुण्यं कोटियज्ञफलप्रदम् । सन्देहो नात्र कर्तव्यः शृणु मे निश्चितं वचः ॥ १४ ॥
brahmōvāca
And protect me, O treasure of mercy.
ओं अस्य श्रीसुब्रह्मण्यसहस्रनामस्तोत्र महामन्त्रस्य ब्रह्मा ऋषिः अनुष्टुप्छन्दः सुब्रह्मण्यो देवता शरजन्माक्षय इति बीजं शक्तिधरोऽक्षय कार्तिकेय इति शक्तिः क्रौञ्चधर इति कीलकं शिखिवाहन इति कवचं षण्मुखाय इति ध्यानम् श्रीसुब्रह्मण्य प्रसादसिद्ध्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः । करन्यासः –
śr̥ṇu vakṣyāmi dēvarṣē stavarājamidaṁ param
Brahma said,
ओं शं ओङ्कारस्वरूपाय ओजोधराय ओजस्विने सुहृदयाय हृष्टचित्तात्मने भास्वररूपाय अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां नमः । ओं रं षट्कोणमध्यनिलयाय षट्किरीटधराय श्रीमते षडाधाराय तर्जनीभ्यां नमः ।
mātr̥kāmālikāyuktaṁ jñānamōkṣasukhapradam
Listen, O divine sage, I will speak the supreme hymn,
ओं वं षण्मुखाय शरजन्मने शुभलक्षणाय शिखिवाहनाय मध्यमाभ्यां नमः । ओं णं कृशानुसम्भवाय कवचिने कुक्कुटध्वजाय अनामिकाभ्यां नमः ।
sahasrāṇi ca nāmāni ṣaṇmukhasya mahātmanaḥ
Which is endowed with the essence of the mother goddess, granting knowledge, liberation, and happiness.
ओं भं कन्दर्पकोटिदीप्यमानाय द्विषड्बाहवे द्वादशाक्षाय कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः । ओं वं खेटधराय खड्गिने शक्तिहस्ताय करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः ।
yāni nāmāni divyāni duḥkharōgaharāṇi ca
There are thousands of names of the great soul Shanmukha,
हृदयादिन्यासः –
tāni nāmāni vakṣyāmi kr̥payā tvayi nārada
Which are divine names that remove suffering and disease.
ओं शं ओङ्कारस्वरूपाय ओजोधराय ओजस्विने सुहृदयाय हृष्टचित्तात्मने भास्वररूपाय हृदयाय नमः ।
japamātrēṇa siddhyanti manasā cintitānyapi
I will now recite the names, O Narada, out of compassion for you.
ओं रं षट्कोणमध्यनिलयाय षट्किरीटधराय श्रीमते षडाधाराय शिरसे स्वाहा । ओं वं षण्मुखाय शरजन्मने शुभलक्षणाय शिखिवाहनाय शिखायै वषट् ।
ihāmutra paraṁ bhōgaṁ labhatē nātra saṁśayaḥ
By mere chanting, even those thoughts conceived in the mind become fulfilled.
ओं णं कृशानुसम्भवाय कवचिने कुक्कुटध्वजाय कवचाय हुम् । ओं भं कन्दर्पकोटिदीप्यमानाय द्विषड्बाहवे द्वादशाक्षाय नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट् ।
idaṁ stōtraṁ paraṁ puṇyaṁ kōṭiyajñaphalapradam
Here and in the afterlife, one attains supreme enjoyment; there is no doubt about it.
ओं वं खेटधराय खड्गिने शक्तिहस्ताय अस्त्राय फट् । भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्बन्धः ।
sandēhō nātra kartavyaḥ śr̥ṇu mē niścitaṁ vacaḥ
This hymn is supremely meritorious, yielding the fruits of countless sacrifices.
ध्यानम् । ध्यायेत्षण्मुखमिन्दुकोटिसदृशं रत्नप्रभाशोभितं
ōṁ asya śrīsubrahmaṇyasahasranāmastōtra mahāmantrasya brahmā r̥ṣiḥ anuṣṭupchandaḥ subrahmaṇyō dēvatā śarajanmākṣaya iti bījaṁ śaktidharō:'kṣaya kārtikēya iti śaktiḥ krauñcadhara iti kīlakaṁ śikhivāhana iti kavacaṁ ṣaṇmukhāya iti dhyānam śrīsubrahmaṇya prasādasiddhyarthē japē viniyōgaḥ
There should be no doubt about this; listen to my certain words.
बालार्कद्युतिषट्किरीटविलसत्केयूरहारान्वितम् । कर्णालम्बितकुण्डलप्रविलसद्गण्डस्थलाशोभितं
karanyāsaḥ – ōṁ śaṁ ōṅkārasvarūpāya ōjōdharāya ōjasvinē suhr̥dayāya hr̥ṣṭacittātmanē bhāsvararūpāya aṅguṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om, this is the great mantra of the thousand names of Shri Subrahmanya; Brahma is the sage, Anushtubh is the meter, Subrahmanya is the deity, "Sharajanma" is the seed, "Akshaya" is the power, "Kartikeya" is the strength, "Kraunchadhara" is the key, "Shikhivahana" is the armor, "Shanmukhaya" is the meditation; for the attainment of Shri Subrahmanya's grace, this is the invocation for chanting.
काञ्चीकङ्कणकिङ्किणीरवयुतं शृङ्गारसारोदयम् ॥ १ ॥
ōṁ raṁ ṣaṭkōṇamadhyanilayāya ṣaṭkirīṭadharāya śrīmatē ṣaḍādhārāya tarjanībhyāṁ namaḥ
Hand gestures –
ध्यायेदीप्सितसिद्धिदं शिवसुतं श्रीद्वादशाक्षं गुहं
ōṁ vaṁ ṣaṇmukhāya śarajanmanē śubhalakṣaṇāya śikhivāhanāya madhyamābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om, to the one who embodies the sound of Om, to the bearer of energy, to the radiant-hearted friend, to the one with a joyful spirit, I bow with my thumbs.
खेटं कुक्कुटमङ्कुशं च वरदं पाशं धनुश्चक्रकम् । वज्रं शक्तिमसिं च शूलमभयं दोर्भिर्धृतं षण्मुखं
ōṁ ṇaṁ kr̥śānusambhavāya kavacinē kukkuṭadhvajāya anāmikābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om, to the one residing in the center of the hexagon, to the one adorned with six crowns, to the revered one, I bow with my index fingers.
देवं चित्रमयूरवाहनगतं चित्राम्बरालङ्कृतम् ॥ २ ॥
ōṁ bhaṁ kandarpakōṭidīpyamānāya dviṣaḍbāhavē dvādaśākṣāya kaniṣṭhikābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om, to the six-faced one, born of the divine, to the one with auspicious marks, to the one who rides the peacock, I bow with my middle fingers.
स्तोत्रम् ।
ōṁ vaṁ khēṭadharāya khaḍginē śaktihastāya karatalakarapr̥ṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om, to the one born of the slender one, to the one with the rooster flag, I bow with my ring fingers.
अचिन्त्यशक्तिरनघस्त्वक्षोभ्यस्त्वपराजितः । अनाथवत्सलोऽमोघस्त्वशोकोऽप्यजरोऽभयः ॥ १ ॥
hr̥dayādinyāsaḥ – ōṁ śaṁ ōṅkārasvarūpāya ōjōdharāya ōjasvinē suhr̥dayāya hr̥ṣṭacittātmanē bhāsvararūpāya hr̥dayāya namaḥ
Om, to the one shining like millions of cupids, to the one with twelve eyes, I bow with my little fingers.
अत्युदारो ह्यघहरस्त्वग्रगण्योऽद्रिजासुतः । अनन्तमहिमाऽपारोऽनन्तसौख्यप्रदोऽव्ययः ॥ २ ॥
ōṁ raṁ ṣaṭkōṇamadhyanilayāya ṣaṭkirīṭadharāya śrīmatē ṣaḍādhārāya śirasē svāhā
Om, to the one who holds the plough, to the one with the sword, to the one with the powerful hand, I bow with the palms of my hands.
अनन्तमोक्षदोऽनादिरप्रमेयोऽक्षरोऽच्युतः । अकल्मषोऽभिरामोऽग्रधुर्यश्चामितविक्रमः ॥ ३ ॥
ōṁ vaṁ ṣaṇmukhāya śarajanmanē śubhalakṣaṇāya śikhivāhanāya śikhāyai vaṣaṭ
Heart gestures –
[* अतुलश्चामृतोऽघोरो ह्यनन्तोऽनन्तविक्रमः *]
ōṁ ṇaṁ kr̥śānusambhavāya kavacinē kukkuṭadhvajāya kavacāya hum

अनाथनाथो ह्यमलो ह्यप्रमत्तोऽमरप्रभुः ।

Om, to the one residing in the center of the hexagon, to the one adorned with six crowns, to the revered one, I offer my head.
अरिन्दमोऽखिलाधारस्त्वणिमादिगुणोऽग्रणीः ॥ ४ ॥
ōṁ vaṁ khēṭadharāya khaḍginē śaktihastāya astrāya phaṭ
Om, to the six-faced one, born of the divine, to the one with auspicious marks, to the one who rides the peacock, I offer my tuft of hair.
अचञ्चलोऽमरस्तुत्यो ह्यकलङ्कोऽमिताशनः ।
bhūrbhuvassuvarōmiti digbandhaḥ
Om, to the one born of Krishna, to the one with the rooster flag, to the armor, hum.
अग्निभूरनवद्याङ्गो ह्यद्भुतोऽभीष्टदायकः ॥ ५ ॥

Om, to the one shining like a crore of Cupid, to the twelve-armed one with three eyes, vaushat.
अतीन्द्रियोऽप्रमेयात्मा ह्यदृश्योऽव्यक्तलक्षणः ।
dhyāyētṣaṇmukhamindukōṭisadr̥śaṁ ratnaprabhāśōbhitaṁ bālārkadyutiṣaṭkirīṭavilasatkēyūrahārānvitam
Om, to the one who holds the plow, to the one with the sword, to the one with the powerful hand, to the weapon, phaṭ.
आपद्विनाशकस्त्वार्य आढ्य आगमसंस्तुतः ॥ ६ ॥
karṇālambitakuṇḍalapravilasadgaṇḍasthalāśōbhitaṁ kāñcīkaṅkaṇakiṅkiṇīravayutaṁ śr̥ṅgārasārōdayam
Earth, atmosphere, and heaven, thus is the binding of directions.
आर्तसंरक्षणस्त्वाद्य आनन्दस्त्वार्यसेवितः ।
dhyāyēdīpsitasiddhidaṁ śivasutaṁ śrīdvādaśākṣaṁ guhaṁ khēṭaṁ kukkuṭamaṅkuśaṁ ca varadaṁ pāśaṁ dhanuścakrakam
Meditation.
आश्रितेष्टार्थवरद आनन्द्यार्तफलप्रदः ॥ ७ ॥
vajraṁ śaktimasiṁ ca śūlamabhayaṁ dōrbhirdhr̥taṁ ṣaṇmukhaṁ dēvaṁ citramayūravāhanagataṁ citrāmbarālaṅkr̥tam
One should meditate on the six-faced one, resembling a crore of moons, adorned with the brilliance of gems,
आश्चर्यरूप आनन्द आपन्नार्तिविनाशनः ।
stōtram
With the radiance of the sun, crowned with a diadem, adorned with a necklace of peacock feathers,
इभवक्त्रानुजस्त्विष्ट इभासुरहरात्मजः ॥ ८ ॥
acintyaśaktiranaghastvakṣōbhyastvaparājitaḥ
With earrings hanging down, and a beautiful neck,
इतिहासश्रुतिस्तुत्य इन्द्रभोगफलप्रदः ।
anāthavatsalō:'mōghastvaśōkō:'pyajarō:'bhayaḥ
With the sound of jingling bangles, the essence of love rising.
इष्टापूर्तफलप्राप्तिरिष्टेष्टवरदायकः ॥ ९ ॥
atyudārō hyaghaharastvagragaṇyō:'drijāsutaḥ
One should meditate on the bestower of desired accomplishments, the son of Shiva, the revered twelve-eyed one, Guha.
इहामुत्रेष्टफलद इष्टदस्त्विन्द्रवन्दितः ।
anantamahimā:'pārō:'nantasaukhyapradō:'vyayaḥ
The plow, the rooster, the goad, the boon-giver, the noose, the bow, and the wheel,
ईडनीयस्त्वीशपुत्र ईप्सितार्थप्रदायकः ॥ १० ॥
anantamōkṣadō:'nādirapramēyō:'kṣarō:'cyutaḥ
The thunderbolt, the powerful lion, the spear, and the fearlessness, held by the six-faced one.
ईतिभीतिहरश्चेड्य ईषणात्रयवर्जितः ।
akalmaṣō:'bhirāmō:'gradhuryaścāmitavikramaḥ
The deity, riding a peacock, adorned with colorful garments.
उदारकीर्तिरुद्योगी चोत्कृष्टोरुपराक्रमः ॥ ११ ॥
[* atulaścāmr̥tō:'ghōrō hyanantō:'nantavikramaḥ *] anāthanāthō hyamalō hyapramattō:'maraprabhuḥ
Stotra.
उत्कृष्टशक्तिरुत्साह उदारश्चोत्सवप्रियः ।
arindamō:'khilādhārastvaṇimādiguṇō:'graṇīḥ
Inconceivable power, with an unshakable body, invincible, unconquered,
उज्जृम्भ उद्भवश्चोग्र उदग्रश्चोग्रलोचनः ॥ १२ ॥
acañcalō:'marastutyō hyakalaṅkō:'mitāśanaḥ
Compassionate like a guardian to the helpless, free from sorrow, and fear.
उन्मत्त उग्रशमन उद्वेगघ्नोरगेश्वरः ।
agnibhūranavadyāṅgō hyadbhutō:'bhīṣṭadāyakaḥ
Most generous, the destroyer of sins, the one who is to be counted among the foremost, the son of the mountain.
उरुप्रभावश्चोदीर्ण उमापुत्र उदारधीः ॥ १३ ॥
atīndriyō:'pramēyātmā hyadr̥śyō:'vyaktalakṣaṇaḥ
Endless glory, the bestower of ultimate happiness, without beginning, immeasurable, imperishable, and unfallen.
ऊर्ध्वरेतःसुतस्तूर्ध्वगतिदस्तूर्जपालकः ।
āpadvināśakastvārya āḍhya āgamasaṁstutaḥ
He who is free from sin, delightful, and possesses great valor,
ऊर्जितस्तूर्ध्वगस्तूर्ध्व ऊर्ध्वलोकैकनायकः ॥ १४ ॥
ārtasaṁrakṣaṇastvādya ānandastvāryasēvitaḥ
He who is incomparable, the source of immortality, and fearsome, indeed infinite in strength.
ऊर्जावानूर्जितोदार ऊर्जितोर्जितशासनः ।
āśritēṣṭārthavarada ānandyārtaphalapradaḥ
He who is the protector of the helpless, pure, and ever vigilant, the lord of death,
ऋषिदेवगणस्तुत्य ऋणत्रयविमोचनः ॥ १५ ॥
āścaryarūpa ānanda āpannārtivināśanaḥ
He who is the destroyer of enemies, the support of all, and the master of all qualities.
ऋजुरूपो ह्यृजुकर ऋजुमार्गप्रदर्शनः ।
ibhavaktrānujastviṣṭa ibhāsuraharātmajaḥ
He who is unshakable, the one worthy of praise, and without blemish, the one who eats moderately,
ऋतम्भरो ह्यृजुप्रीत ऋषभस्त्वृद्धिदस्त्वृतः ॥ १६ ॥
itihāsaśrutistutya indrabhōgaphalapradaḥ
He who is like fire, possessing flawless limbs, and is wondrous, the giver of fearlessness.
लुलितोद्धारको लूतभवपाशप्रभञ्जनः ।
iṣṭāpūrtaphalaprāptiriṣṭēṣṭavaradāyakaḥ
He who is beyond the senses, the immeasurable soul, and is unseen yet has distinct characteristics,
एणाङ्कधरसत्पुत्र एक एनोविनाशनः ॥ १७ ॥
ihāmutrēṣṭaphalada iṣṭadastvindravanditaḥ
He who destroys calamities, is wealthy, and is praised in scriptures,
ऐश्वर्यदश्चैन्द्रभोगी चैतिह्यश्चैन्द्रवन्दितः ।
īḍanīyastvīśaputra īpsitārthapradāyakaḥ
He who protects the distressed, is blissful, and is served by the noble,
ओजस्वी चौषधिस्थानमोजोदश्चौदनप्रदः ॥ १८ ॥
ītibhītiharaścēḍya īṣaṇātrayavarjitaḥ
He who grants desires to those who seek refuge, and bestows the fruits of joy to the suffering,
औदार्यशील औमेय औग्र औन्नत्यदायकः ।
udārakīrtirudyōgī cōtkr̥ṣṭōruparākramaḥ
He who is of wondrous form, blissful, and destroys the sufferings of those in distress,
औदार्य औषधकर औषधं चौषधाकरः ॥ १९ ॥
utkr̥ṣṭaśaktirutsāha udāraścōtsavapriyaḥ
He who is the descendant of the illustrious, and the son of the sun,
अंशुमानंशुमालीड्य अम्बिकातनयोऽन्नदः ।
ujjr̥mbha udbhavaścōgra udagraścōgralōcanaḥ
He who is praised in history and scriptures, and grants the fruits of celestial pleasures,
अन्धकारिसुतोऽन्धत्वहारी चाम्बुजलोचनः ॥ २० ॥
unmatta ugraśamana udvēgaghnōragēśvaraḥ
He who fulfills the results of offerings and grants the desired boons,
अस्तमायोऽमराधीशो ह्यस्पष्टोऽस्तोकपुण्यदः ।
uruprabhāvaścōdīrṇa umāputra udāradhīḥ
He who bestows the fruits of desires here and beyond, and is worshipped by Indra,
अस्तामित्रोऽस्तरूपश्चास्खलत्सुगतिदायकः ॥ २१ ॥
ūrdhvarētaḥsutastūrdhvagatidastūrjapālakaḥ
He who is worthy of worship, the son of the Lord, and the giver of desired results.
कार्तिकेयः कामरूपः कुमारः क्रौञ्चदारणः ।
ūrjitastūrdhvagastūrdhva ūrdhvalōkaikanāyakaḥ
He who dispels fear, who is free from the three desires,
कामदः कारणं काम्यः कमनीयः कृपाकरः ॥ २२ ॥
ūrjāvānūrjitōdāra ūrjitōrjitaśāsanaḥ
He who has a glorious reputation, a diligent practitioner, and a supreme conqueror,
काञ्चनाभः कान्तियुक्तः कामी कामप्रदः कविः ।
r̥ṣidēvagaṇastutya r̥ṇatrayavimōcanaḥ
He who possesses extraordinary power and enthusiasm, and is fond of celebration,
कीर्तिकृत्कुक्कुटधरः कूटस्थः कुवलेक्षणः ॥ २३ ॥
r̥jurūpō hyr̥jukara r̥jumārgapradarśanaḥ
He who awakens, who arises fiercely, and has fierce eyes,
कुङ्कुमाङ्गः क्लमहरः कुशलः कुक्कुटध्वजः ।
r̥tambharō hyr̥juprīta r̥ṣabhastvr̥ddhidastvr̥taḥ
He who is ecstatic, who calms the fierce, and dispels anxiety,
कुशानुसम्भवः क्रूरः क्रूरघ्नः कलितापहृत् ॥ २४ ॥
lulitōddhārakō lūtabhavapāśaprabhañjanaḥ
He who has great influence, who is exalted, the son of Uma, and has a noble intellect,
कामरूपः कल्पतरुः कान्तः कामितदायकः ।
ēṇāṅkadharasatputra ēka ēnōvināśanaḥ
He who is the son of the one with upward energy, the guardian of the upward path,
कल्याणकृत्क्लेशनाशः कृपालुः करुणाकरः ॥ २५ ॥
aiśvaryadaścaindrabhōgī caitihyaścaindravanditaḥ
He who is powerful, who ascends, the sole leader of the upward realm,
कलुषघ्नः क्रियाशक्तिः कठोरः कवची कृती ।
ōjasvī cauṣadhisthānamōjōdaścaudanapradaḥ
He who is energetic, who is exalted, and who has conquered energy,
कोमलाङ्गः कुशप्रीतः कुत्सितघ्नः कलाधरः ॥ २६ ॥
audāryaśīla aumēya augra aunnatyadāyakaḥ
He who is praised by the assembly of sages, the liberator from the three debts,
ख्यातः खेटधरः खड्गी खट्वाङ्गी खलनिग्रहः ।
audārya auṣadhakara auṣadhaṁ cauṣadhākaraḥ
He who has a straight form, who shows the direct path,
ख्यातिप्रदः खेचरेशः ख्यातेहः खेचरस्तुतः ॥ २७ ॥
aṁśumānaṁśumālīḍya ambikātanayō:'nnadaḥ
He who is filled with truth, who is pleasing in a straightforward manner, and who is the bull of prosperity,
खरतापहरः स्वस्थः खेचरः खेचराश्रयः ।
andhakārisutō:'ndhatvahārī cāmbujalōcanaḥ
He who lifts the fallen, who dispels the bonds of worldly existence,
खण्डेन्दुमौलितनयः खेलः खेचरपालकः ॥ २८ ॥
astamāyō:'marādhīśō hyaspaṣṭō:'stōkapuṇyadaḥ
He who holds the sacred mark, the unique one, the destroyer of all,
खस्थलः खण्डितार्कश्च खेचरीजनपूजितः ।
astāmitrō:'starūpaścāskhalatsugatidāyakaḥ
He who grants wealth, who enjoys the pleasures of Indra, and who is revered by the divine.
गाङ्गेयो गिरिजापुत्रो गणनाथानुजो गुहः ॥ २९ ॥
kārtikēyaḥ kāmarūpaḥ kumāraḥ krauñcadāraṇaḥ
The one who is powerful and the source of medicinal herbs,
गोप्ता गीर्वाणसंसेव्यो गुणातीतो गुहाश्रयः ।
kāmadaḥ kāraṇaṁ kāmyaḥ kamanīyaḥ kr̥pākaraḥ
The one who is generous, endowed with noble qualities,
गतिप्रदो गुणनिधिः गम्भीरो गिरिजात्मजः ॥ ३० ॥
kāñcanābhaḥ kāntiyuktaḥ kāmī kāmapradaḥ kaviḥ
The one who bestows prosperity and is a healer of ailments,
गूढरूपो गदहरो गुणाधीशो गुणाग्रणीः ।
kīrtikr̥tkukkuṭadharaḥ kūṭasthaḥ kuvalēkṣaṇaḥ
The one who is radiant and the son of Ambika,
गोधरो गहनो गुप्तो गर्वघ्नो गुणवर्धनः ॥ ३१ ॥
kuṅkumāṅgaḥ klamaharaḥ kuśalaḥ kukkuṭadhvajaḥ
The son of the blind, the remover of blindness, with lotus-like eyes,
गुह्यो गुणज्ञो गीतिज्ञो गतातङ्को गुणाश्रयः ।
kuśānusambhavaḥ krūraḥ krūraghnaḥ kalitāpahr̥t
The lord of the evening, who is indistinct, the giver of merit,
गद्यपद्यप्रियो गुण्यो गोस्तुतो गगनेचरः ॥ ३२ ॥
kāmarūpaḥ kalpataruḥ kāntaḥ kāmitadāyakaḥ
The one who has no enemies, with a pleasing form, the bestower of good fortune,
गणनीयचरित्रश्च गतक्लेशो गुणार्णवः ।
kalyāṇakr̥tklēśanāśaḥ kr̥pāluḥ karuṇākaraḥ
Kartikeya, the embodiment of desires, the youthful one, the slayer of the demon Kraunca,
घूर्णिताक्षो घृणिनिधिः घनगम्भीरघोषणः ॥ ३३ ॥
kaluṣaghnaḥ kriyāśaktiḥ kaṭhōraḥ kavacī kr̥tī
The one who fulfills desires, the cause of desires, the delightful one, the bestower of mercy,
घण्टानादप्रियो घोषो घोराघौघविनाशनः ।
kōmalāṅgaḥ kuśaprītaḥ kutsitaghnaḥ kalādharaḥ
The one with a golden hue, endowed with beauty, a lover, the giver of desires, a poet,
घनानन्दो घर्महन्ता घृणावान् घृष्टिपातकः ॥ ३४ ॥
khyātaḥ khēṭadharaḥ khaḍgī khaṭvāṅgī khalanigrahaḥ
The one who creates fame, the bearer of the rooster, the eternal one, with lotus-like eyes,
घृणी घृणाकरो घोरो घोरदैत्यप्रहारकः ।
khyātipradaḥ khēcarēśaḥ khyātēhaḥ khēcarastutaḥ
The one with a red mark, the remover of fatigue, skilled, the one with the rooster flag,
घटितैश्वर्यसन्दोहो घनार्थो घनसङ्क्रमः ॥ ३५ ॥
kharatāpaharaḥ svasthaḥ khēcaraḥ khēcarāśrayaḥ
Born of the sacred fire, fierce, the slayer of the cruel, the one who has taken away the burden,
चित्रकृच्चित्रवर्णश्च चञ्चलश्चपलद्युतिः ।
khaṇḍēndumaulitanayaḥ khēlaḥ khēcarapālakaḥ
The embodiment of desires, the wish-fulfilling tree, beloved, the giver of wishes,
चिन्मयश्चित्स्वरूपश्च चिरानन्दश्चिरन्तनः ॥ ३६ ॥
khasthalaḥ khaṇḍitārkaśca khēcarījanapūjitaḥ
The one who does good deeds, the destroyer of suffering, compassionate, the ocean of mercy.
चित्रकेलिश्चित्रतरश्चिन्तनीयश्चमत्कृतिः ।
gāṅgēyō girijāputrō gaṇanāthānujō guhaḥ
The remover of impurities, the power of action, the fierce one, the protector, the creator.
चोरघ्नश्चतुरश्चारुश्चामीकरविभूषणः ॥ ३७ ॥
gōptā gīrvāṇasaṁsēvyō guṇātītō guhāśrayaḥ
With a delicate form, pleased with grass, the destroyer of the despicable, the bearer of arts.
चन्द्रार्ककोटिसदृशश्चन्द्रमौलितनूभवः ।
gatipradō guṇanidhiḥ gambhīrō girijātmajaḥ
Renowned, the holder of the plough, the swordsman, the one with the staff, the subduer of the wicked.
छादिताङ्गश्छद्महन्ता छेदिताखिलपातकः ॥ ३८ ॥
gūḍharūpō gadaharō guṇādhīśō guṇāgraṇīḥ
The giver of fame, the lord of the sky, known here, praised by the sky-dwellers.
छेदीकृततमःक्लेशश्छत्रीकृतमहायशाः ।
gōdharō gahanō guptō garvaghnō guṇavardhanaḥ
The remover of harshness, healthy, the sky-dweller, the refuge of the sky-dwellers.
छादिताशेषसन्तापश्छुरितामृतसागरः ॥ ३९ ॥
guhyō guṇajñō gītijñō gatātaṅkō guṇāśrayaḥ
The son of the moon, the player, the protector of the sky-dwellers.
छन्नत्रैगुण्यरूपश्च छातेहश्छिन्नसंशयः ।
gadyapadyapriyō guṇyō gōstutō gaganēcaraḥ
The one with the earth as his base, the one with the split sun, worshipped by the sky-dwelling people.
छन्दोमयश्छन्दगामी छिन्नपाशश्छविश्छदः ॥ ४० ॥
gaṇanīyacaritraśca gataklēśō guṇārṇavaḥ
The son of the Ganges, the son of Girija, the younger brother of the lord of the multitudes, Guha.
जगद्धितो जगत्पूज्यो जगज्ज्येष्ठो जगन्मयः ।
ghūrṇitākṣō ghr̥ṇinidhiḥ ghanagambhīraghōṣaṇaḥ
The protector, served by the Gīrvāṇas, transcending qualities, the one dwelling in the cave.
जनको जाह्नवीसूनुर्जितामित्रो जगद्गुरुः ॥ ४१ ॥
ghaṇṭānādapriyō ghōṣō ghōrāghaughavināśanaḥ
The giver of paths, the treasure of virtues, profound, the son of Girija.
जयी जितेन्द्रियो जैत्रो जरामरणवर्जितः ।
ghanānandō gharmahantā ghr̥ṇāvān ghr̥ṣṭipātakaḥ
The one with a hidden form, the one with a club, the lord of virtues, the chief of qualities.
ज्योतिर्मयो जगन्नाथो जगज्जीवो जनाश्रयः ॥ ४२ ॥
ghr̥ṇī ghr̥ṇākarō ghōrō ghōradaityaprahārakaḥ
The one with a cow's body, deep, concealed, the destroyer of pride, the enhancer of virtues.
जगत्सेव्यो जगत्कर्ता जगत्साक्षी जगत्प्रियः ।
ghaṭitaiśvaryasandōhō ghanārthō ghanasaṅkramaḥ
The secretive one, knowledgeable of qualities, knowledgeable of the horizon, free from fear, the refuge of virtues.
जम्भारिवन्द्यो जयदो जगज्जनमनोहरः ॥ ४३ ॥
citrakr̥ccitravarṇaśca cañcalaścapaladyutiḥ
Fond of prose and poetry, virtuous, praised by the cowherds, the one who moves in the sky.
जगदानन्दजनको जनजाड्यापहारकः ।
cinmayaścitsvarūpaśca cirānandaścirantanaḥ
The one with a notable character, free from suffering, the ocean of virtues.
जपाकुसुमसङ्काशो जनलोचनशोभनः ॥ ४४ ॥
citrakēliścitrataraścintanīyaścamatkr̥tiḥ
The one with a swirling gaze, the treasure of compassion, the deep and resonant sound.
जनेश्वरो जितक्रोधो जनजन्मनिबर्हणः ।
cōraghnaścaturaścāruścāmīkaravibhūṣaṇaḥ
The sound of the bell, pleasing to none, the dreadful noise that destroys the fierce flood.
जयदो जन्तुतापघ्नो जितदैत्यमहाव्रजः ॥ ४५ ॥
candrārkakōṭisadr̥śaścandramaulitanūbhavaḥ
The one who is blissful, the great bearer of joy, the compassionate one, the sinner of the fallen.
जितमायो जितक्रोधो जितसङ्गो जनप्रियः ।
chāditāṅgaśchadmahantā chēditākhilapātakaḥ
The compassionate one, the creator of compassion, the terrible one, the slayer of the demon.
झञ्झानिलमहावेगो झरिताशेषपातकः ॥ ४६ ॥
chēdīkr̥tatamaḥklēśaśchatrīkr̥tamahāyaśāḥ
The one who is endowed with prosperity, the essence of heaviness, the transition of the dense.
झर्झरीकृतदैत्यौघो झल्लरीवाद्यसम्प्रियः ।
chāditāśēṣasantāpaśchuritāmr̥tasāgaraḥ
The one with a colorful and varied appearance, restless and quick in brilliance.
ज्ञानमूर्तिर्ज्ञानगम्यो ज्ञानी ज्ञानमहानिधिः ॥ ४७ ॥
channatraiguṇyarūpaśca chātēhaśchinnasaṁśayaḥ
The one who is made of consciousness, the embodiment of consciousness, eternal bliss, and everlasting.
टङ्कारनृत्तविभवः टङ्कवज्रध्वजाङ्कितः ।
chandōmayaśchandagāmī chinnapāśaśchaviśchadaḥ
The playful one, more colorful than the colorful, worthy of contemplation, a marvel to behold.
टङ्किताखिललोकश्च टङ्कितैनस्तमोरविः ॥ ४८ ॥
jagaddhitō jagatpūjyō jagajjyēṣṭhō jaganmayaḥ
The one who destroys thieves, clever and beautiful, adorned with the splendor of the moon.
डम्बरप्रभवो डम्भो डम्बो डमरुकप्रियः । [डमड्ड]
janakō jāhnavīsūnurjitāmitrō jagadguruḥ
Like the rays of the moon and the sun, the one who experiences the crown of the moon.
डमरोत्कटसन्नादो डिम्भरूपस्वरूपकः ॥ ४९ ॥
jayī jitēndriyō jaitrō jarāmaraṇavarjitaḥ
The one whose body is covered, the great one who conceals, the one who has removed all sins.
ढक्कानादप्रीतिकरो ढालितासुरसङ्कुलः ।
jyōtirmayō jagannāthō jagajjīvō janāśrayaḥ
The one who has cut off the greatest suffering, the one who has attained great fame.
ढौकितामरसन्दोहो ढुण्ढिविघ्नेश्वरानुजः ॥ ५० ॥
jagatsēvyō jagatkartā jagatsākṣī jagatpriyaḥ
The one who has covered all remaining pain, the one who has tasted the ocean of immortality.
तत्त्वज्ञस्तत्वगस्तीव्रस्तपोरूपस्तपोमयः ।
jambhārivandyō jayadō jagajjanamanōharaḥ
The one who is veiled in the form of the three gunas, the one who is here, cutting off all doubts.
त्रयीमयस्त्रिकालज्ञस्त्रिमूर्तिस्त्रिगुणात्मकः ॥ ५१ ॥
jagadānandajanakō janajāḍyāpahārakaḥ
The one who is made of sound, the one who moves like sound, the one who has cut the bonds of existence.
त्रिदशेशस्तारकारिस्तापघ्नस्तापसप्रियः ।
japākusumasaṅkāśō janalōcanaśōbhanaḥ
He who is the well-wisher of the world, the one who is worshipped by the universe, the eldest of the universe, and the embodiment of the universe.
तुष्टिदस्तुष्टिकृत्तीक्ष्णस्तपोरूपस्त्रिकालवित् ॥ ५२ ॥
janēśvarō jitakrōdhō janajanmanibarhaṇaḥ
The father of the Ganges, the conqueror of enemies, the teacher of the world.
स्तोता स्तव्यः स्तवप्रीतः स्तुतिः स्तोत्रं स्तुतिप्रियः ।
jayadō jantutāpaghnō jitadaityamahāvrajaḥ
Victorious, self-controlled, the conqueror of death and birth.
स्थितः स्थायी स्थापकश्च स्थूलसूक्ष्मप्रदर्शकः ॥ ५३ ॥
jitamāyō jitakrōdhō jitasaṅgō janapriyaḥ
The one who is full of light, the lord of the universe, the life of the world, the refuge of people.
स्थविष्ठः स्थविरः स्थूलः स्थानदः स्थैर्यदः स्थिरः ।
jhañjhānilamahāvēgō jharitāśēṣapātakaḥ
Worthy of service, the creator of the world, the witness of the world, beloved by the world.
दान्तो दयापरो दाता दुरितघ्नो दुरासदः ॥ ५४ ॥
jharjharīkr̥tadaityaughō jhallarīvādyasampriyaḥ
Worthy of worship by the demons, the giver of victory, enchanting to the minds of all beings.
दर्शनीयो दयासारो देवदेवो दयानिधिः ।
jñānamūrtirjñānagamyō jñānī jñānamahānidhiḥ
The creator of bliss in the world, the remover of ignorance from people.
दुराधर्षो दुर्विगाह्यो दक्षो दर्पणशोभितः ॥ ५५ ॥
ṭaṅkāranr̥ttavibhavaḥ ṭaṅkavajradhvajāṅkitaḥ
Resembling the red hibiscus, beautiful in the eyes of people.
दुर्धरो दानशीलश्च द्वादशाक्षो द्विषड्भुजः ।
ṭaṅkitākhilalōkaśca ṭaṅkitainastamōraviḥ
The lord of beings, who has conquered anger, the enhancer of the birth of people.
द्विषट्कर्णो द्विषड्बाहुर्दीनसन्तापनाशनः ॥ ५६ ॥
ḍambaraprabhavō ḍambhō ḍambō ḍamarukapriyaḥ
The giver of victory, the destroyer of the suffering of beings, the conqueror of the great demons.
दन्दशूकेश्वरो देवो दिव्यो दिव्याकृतिर्दमः ।
[ḍamaḍḍa] ḍamarōtkaṭasannādō ḍimbharūpasvarūpakaḥ
The one who has conquered illusion, who has conquered anger, who is beloved by the people.
दीर्घवृत्तो दीर्घबाहुर्दीर्घदृष्टिर्दिवस्पतिः ॥ ५७ ॥
ḍhakkānādaprītikarō ḍhālitāsurasaṅkulaḥ
The one who moves with the speed of the wind, the destroyer of all sins.
दण्डो दमयिता दर्पो देवसिंहो दृढव्रतः ।
ḍhaukitāmarasandōhō ḍhuṇḍhivighnēśvarānujaḥ
The one who has crushed the demon hordes, pleasing to the sounds of musical instruments.
दुर्लभो दुर्गमो दीप्तो दुष्प्रेक्ष्यो दिव्यमण्डनः ॥ ५८ ॥
tattvajñastatvagastīvrastapōrūpastapōmayaḥ
The embodiment of knowledge, attainable through knowledge, the wise one, the great treasure of knowledge.
दुरोदरघ्नो दुःखघ्नो दुरारिघ्नो दिशां पतिः ।
trayīmayastrikālajñastrimūrtistriguṇātmakaḥ
The one who is adorned with the splendor of dance, marked by the flag of the thunderbolt.
दुर्जयो देवसेनेशो दुर्ज्ञेयो दुरतिक्रमः ॥ ५९ ॥
tridaśēśastārakāristāpaghnastāpasapriyaḥ
The one who is adorned by all the worlds, who is the darkness of ignorance,
दम्भो दृप्तश्च देवर्षिर्दैवज्ञो दैवचिन्तकः ।
tuṣṭidastuṣṭikr̥ttīkṣṇastapōrūpastrikālavit
The source of pride, who is the embodiment of falsehood, beloved of the damaru,
धुरन्धरो धर्मपरो धनदो धृतिवर्धनः ॥ ६० ॥
stōtā stavyaḥ stavaprītaḥ stutiḥ stōtraṁ stutipriyaḥ
The sound of the damaru is fierce, taking the form of a drum,
धर्मेशो धर्मशास्त्रज्ञो धन्वी धर्मपरायणः ।
sthitaḥ sthāyī sthāpakaśca sthūlasūkṣmapradarśakaḥ
Delighting in the sound of the dhakka, surrounded by the essence of the demons,
धनाध्यक्षो धनपतिर्धृतिमान्धूतकिल्बिषः ॥ ६१ ॥
sthaviṣṭhaḥ sthaviraḥ sthūlaḥ sthānadaḥ sthairyadaḥ sthiraḥ
The one who is the essence of the lotus, the remover of obstacles, a follower of Ganesha,
धर्महेतुर्धर्मशूरो धर्मकृद्धर्मविद्ध्रुवः ।
dāntō dayāparō dātā duritaghnō durāsadaḥ
The knower of truth, the one who understands the essence, intense in austerity, made of austerity,
धाता धीमान्धर्मचारी धन्यो धुर्यो धृतव्रतः ॥ ६२ ॥
darśanīyō dayāsārō dēvadēvō dayānidhiḥ
The one who is the essence of the Vedas, the knower of the three times, the three forms, the one who embodies the three qualities,
नित्योत्सवो नित्यतृप्तो निर्लेपो निश्चलात्मकः ।
durādharṣō durvigāhyō dakṣō darpaṇaśōbhitaḥ
The lord of the three heavens, the star of liberation, the destroyer of suffering, beloved of ascetics,
निरवद्यो निराधारो निष्कलङ्को निरञ्जनः ॥ ६३ ॥
durdharō dānaśīlaśca dvādaśākṣō dviṣaḍbhujaḥ
The one who is content, the one who brings satisfaction, sharp in austerity, the essence of the three times,
निर्ममो निरहङ्कारो निर्मोहो निरुपद्रवः ।
dviṣaṭkarṇō dviṣaḍbāhurdīnasantāpanāśanaḥ
The one who is praised, worthy of praise, delighted by hymns, the hymn, beloved of praise,
नित्यानन्दो निरातङ्को निष्प्रपञ्चो निरामयः ॥ ६४ ॥
dandaśūkēśvarō dēvō divyō divyākr̥tirdamaḥ
The one who is stable, the one who is enduring, the creator, revealing the gross and subtle,
निरवद्यो निरीहश्च निर्दर्शो निर्मलात्मकः ।
dīrghavr̥ttō dīrghabāhurdīrghadr̥ṣṭirdivaspatiḥ
The most substantial, the ancient, the gross, the giver of places, the one who grants steadiness, the firm one,
नित्यानन्दो निर्जरेशो निःसङ्गो निगमस्तुतः ॥ ६५ ॥
daṇḍō damayitā darpō dēvasiṁhō dr̥ḍhavrataḥ
The one who is self-controlled, compassionate, a giver, the destroyer of difficulties, hard to overcome,
निष्कण्टको निरालम्बो निष्प्रत्यूहो निरुद्भवः ।
durlabhō durgamō dīptō duṣprēkṣyō divyamaṇḍanaḥ
The one who is beautiful to behold, the essence of compassion, the god of gods, the treasure of compassion,
नित्यो नियतकल्याणो निर्विकल्पो निराश्रयः ॥ ६६ ॥
durōdaraghnō duḥkhaghnō durārighnō diśāṁ patiḥ
The one who is difficult to conquer, hard to understand, skilled, adorned with the brilliance of a mirror.
नेता निधिर्नैकरूपो निराकारो नदीसुतः ।
durjayō dēvasēnēśō durjñēyō duratikramaḥ
He who is difficult to conquer, generous in giving, with twelve eyes and six arms,
पुलिन्दकन्यारमणः पुरुजित्परमप्रियः ॥ ६७ ॥
dambhō dr̥ptaśca dēvarṣirdaivajñō daivacintakaḥ
With six ears and six arms, the remover of the suffering of the downtrodden,
प्रत्यक्षमूर्तिः प्रत्यक्षः परेशः पूर्णपुण्यदः ।
dhurandharō dharmaparō dhanadō dhr̥tivardhanaḥ
The lord of the staff, divine, of divine form, the master of self-control,
पुण्याकरः पुण्यरूपः पुण्यः पुण्यपरायणः ॥ ६८ ॥
dharmēśō dharmaśāstrajñō dhanvī dharmaparāyaṇaḥ
Long-bodied, long-armed, with long vision, the lord of the day,
पुण्योदयः परं ज्योतिः पुण्यकृत्पुण्यवर्धनः ।

Difficult to attain, hard to approach, radiant, difficult to behold, the divine ornament,
प्रसन्नरूपः प्राणेशः पन्नगः पापनाशनः ।
dhātā dhīmāndharmacārī dhanyō dhuryō dhr̥tavrataḥ
The destroyer of the hard-hearted, the remover of sorrow, the lord of directions,
प्रणतार्तिहरः पूर्णः पार्वतीनन्दनः प्रभुः ॥ ७० ॥
nityōtsavō nityatr̥ptō nirlēpō niścalātmakaḥ
Difficult to conquer, the commander of the divine army, unknowable, difficult to transgress,
पूतात्मा पुरुषः प्राणः प्रभवः पुरुषोत्तमः ।
niravadyō nirādhārō niṣkalaṅkō nirañjanaḥ
Hypocritical, arrogant, the sage of the gods, knowledgeable in divine matters, a thinker of the divine,
प्रसन्नः परमस्पष्टः परः परिबृढः परः ॥ ७१ ॥
nirmamō nirahaṅkārō nirmōhō nirupadravaḥ
The bearer of burdens, devoted to righteousness, the giver of wealth, the enhancer of resolve,
परमात्मा परब्रह्म परार्थः प्रियदर्शनः ।
nityānandō nirātaṅkō niṣprapañcō nirāmayaḥ
The lord of righteousness, knowledgeable in the scriptures of righteousness, an archer, devoted to righteousness,
पवित्रः पुष्टिदः पूर्तिः पिङ्गलः पुष्टिवर्धनः ॥ ७२ ॥
niravadyō nirīhaśca nirdarśō nirmalātmakaḥ
The overseer of wealth, the lord of wealth, the one who increases steadfastness, free from sin,
पापहारी पाशधरः प्रमत्तासुरशिक्षकः ।
nityānandō nirjarēśō niḥsaṅgō nigamastutaḥ
The cause of righteousness, the hero of righteousness, the creator of righteousness, the knower of righteousness,
पावनः पावकः पूज्यः पूर्णानन्दः परात्परः ॥ ७३ ॥
niṣkaṇṭakō nirālambō niṣpratyūhō nirudbhavaḥ
The creator, wise, a follower of righteousness, blessed, strong, steadfast in vows,
पुष्कलः प्रवरः पूर्वः पितृभक्तः पुरोगमः ।
nityō niyatakalyāṇō nirvikalpō nirāśrayaḥ
Eternal festival, eternally satisfied, untouched, of steady soul.
प्राणदः प्राणिजनकः प्रदिष्टः पावकोद्भवः ॥ ७४ ॥
nētā nidhirnaikarūpō nirākārō nadīsutaḥ
Flawless, without support, unblemished, untainted,
परब्रह्मस्वरूपश्च परमैश्वर्यकारणम् ।
pulindakanyāramaṇaḥ purujitparamapriyaḥ
Without attachment, without ego, free from delusion, without disturbance,
परर्धिदः पुष्टिकरः प्रकाशात्मा प्रतापवान् ॥ ७५ ॥
pratyakṣamūrtiḥ pratyakṣaḥ parēśaḥ pūrṇapuṇyadaḥ
Eternally blissful, without fear, devoid of complexity, free from ailments,
प्रज्ञापरः प्रकृष्टार्थः पृथुः पृथुपराक्रमः ।
puṇyākaraḥ puṇyarūpaḥ puṇyaḥ puṇyaparāyaṇaḥ
Flawless, without desire, without manifestation, pure in essence,
फणीश्वरः फणिवरः फणामणिविभूषणः ॥ ७६ ॥
puṇyōdayaḥ paraṁ jyōtiḥ puṇyakr̥tpuṇyavardhanaḥ
Eternally blissful, lord of the eternal, without attachment, praised in the scriptures,
फलदः फलहस्तश्च फुल्लाम्बुजविलोचनः ।
parānandaḥ parataraḥ puṇyakīrtiḥ purātanaḥ
Without thorns, without reliance, free from opposition, unproduced,
फडुच्चाटितपापौघः फणिलोकविभूषणः ॥ ७७ ॥
prasannarūpaḥ prāṇēśaḥ pannagaḥ pāpanāśanaḥ
Eternal, consistently auspicious, without alternatives, without refuge,
बाहुलेयो बृहद्रूपो बलिष्ठो बलवान् बली ।
praṇatārtiharaḥ pūrṇaḥ pārvatīnandanaḥ prabhuḥ
The leader, the treasure, of many forms, formless, the son of the river,
ब्रह्मेशविष्णुरूपश्च बुद्धो बुद्धिमतां वरः ॥ ७८ ॥
pūtātmā puruṣaḥ prāṇaḥ prabhavaḥ puruṣōttamaḥ
Beloved of the Pulinda maiden, the conqueror, supremely dear,
बालरूपो ब्रह्मगर्भो ब्रह्मचारी बुधप्रियः ।
prasannaḥ paramaspaṣṭaḥ paraḥ paribr̥ḍhaḥ paraḥ
The manifest form, the perceivable, the supreme being, the giver of complete merit,
बहुश्रुतो बहुमतो ब्रह्मण्यो ब्राह्मणप्रियः ॥ ७९ ॥
paramātmā parabrahma parārthaḥ priyadarśanaḥ
The source of virtue, of virtuous form, virtuous, devoted to virtue,
बलप्रमथनो ब्रह्मा बहुरूपो बहुप्रदः ।
pavitraḥ puṣṭidaḥ pūrtiḥ piṅgalaḥ puṣṭivardhanaḥ
The rise of virtue, the supreme light, the doer of virtue, the enhancer of virtue,
बृहद्भानुतनूद्भूतो बृहत्सेनो बिलेशयः ॥ ८० ॥
pāpahārī pāśadharaḥ pramattāsuraśikṣakaḥ
The supreme bliss, the highest, of virtuous fame, ancient,
बहुबाहुर्बलश्रीमान् बहुदैत्यविनाशकः ।
pāvanaḥ pāvakaḥ pūjyaḥ pūrṇānandaḥ parātparaḥ
With a pleasing form, the lord of life, the serpent, the destroyer of sin,
बिलद्वारान्तरालस्थो बृहच्छक्तिधनुर्धरः ॥ ८१ ॥
puṣkalaḥ pravaraḥ pūrvaḥ pitr̥bhaktaḥ purōgamaḥ
The remover of the suffering of the humble, complete, the son of Parvati, the lord.
बालार्कद्युतिमान् बालो बृहद्वक्षा बृहद्धनुः ।
prāṇadaḥ prāṇijanakaḥ pradiṣṭaḥ pāvakōdbhavaḥ
The pure soul is the life force, the supreme person.
भव्यो भोगीश्वरो भाव्यो भवनाशो भवप्रियः ॥ ८२ ॥
parabrahmasvarūpaśca paramaiśvaryakāraṇam
He is joyful, the most evident, the ultimate, the all-encompassing.
भक्तिगम्यो भयहरो भावज्ञो भक्तसुप्रियः ।
parardhidaḥ puṣṭikaraḥ prakāśātmā pratāpavān
The supreme soul, the absolute reality, the essence of others, the beloved.
भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदो भोगी भगवान् भाग्यवर्धनः ॥ ८३ ॥
prajñāparaḥ prakr̥ṣṭārthaḥ pr̥thuḥ pr̥thuparākramaḥ
He is pure, the giver of nourishment, the completeness, the radiant, the enhancer of prosperity.
भ्राजिष्णुर्भावनो भर्ता भीमो भीमपराक्रमः ।
phaṇīśvaraḥ phaṇivaraḥ phaṇāmaṇivibhūṣaṇaḥ
He removes sins, the bearer of bonds, the teacher of intoxicated demons.
भूतिदो भूतिकृद्भोक्ता भूतात्मा भुवनेश्वरः ॥ ८४ ॥
phaladaḥ phalahastaśca phullāmbujavilōcanaḥ
He is the purifier, the fire, worthy of worship, the embodiment of complete bliss, the highest.
भावको भीकरो भीष्मो भावकेष्टो भवोद्भवः ।
phaḍuccāṭitapāpaughaḥ phaṇilōkavibhūṣaṇaḥ
He is abundant, the best, the ancient, devoted to ancestors, the leader.
भवतापप्रशमनो भोगवान् भूतभावनः ॥ ८५ ॥
bāhulēyō br̥hadrūpō baliṣṭhō balavān balī
He is the giver of life, the creator of life, designated, born of fire.
भोज्यप्रदो भ्रान्तिनाशो भानुमान् भुवनाश्रयः ।
brahmēśaviṣṇurūpaśca buddhō buddhimatāṁ varaḥ
He is the very form of the absolute reality, the cause of supreme wealth.
भूरिभोगप्रदो भद्रो भजनीयो भिषग्वरः ॥ ८६ ॥
bālarūpō brahmagarbhō brahmacārī budhapriyaḥ
He is the ultimate sustainer, the one who brings nourishment, the luminous soul, the powerful.
महासेनो महोदारो महाशक्तिर्महाद्युतिः ।
bahuśrutō bahumatō brahmaṇyō brāhmaṇapriyaḥ
He is beyond wisdom, of excellent purpose, vast, and of great prowess.
महाबुद्धिर्महावीर्यो महोत्साहो महाबलः ॥ ८७ ॥
balapramathanō brahmā bahurūpō bahupradaḥ
He is the lord of serpents, the best among serpents, adorned with the gem of the serpent's hood.
महाभोगी महामायी मेधावी मेखली महान् ।
br̥hadbhānutanūdbhūtō br̥hatsēnō bilēśayaḥ
He is the giver of fruits, the one with fruitful hands, with eyes like blooming lotuses.
मुनिस्तुतो महामान्यो महानन्दो महायशाः ॥ ८८ ॥
bahubāhurbalaśrīmān bahudaityavināśakaḥ
He destroys the multitude of sins, the ornament of the serpent world.
महोर्जितो माननिधिर्मनोरथफलप्रदः ।
biladvārāntarālasthō br̥hacchaktidhanurdharaḥ
He is abundant, of great form, the strongest, powerful, and mighty.
महोदयो महापुण्यो महाबलपराक्रमः ॥ ८९ ॥
bālārkadyutimān bālō br̥hadvakṣā br̥haddhanuḥ
Brahma, Vishnu, and the embodiment of wisdom, the best among the wise.
मानदो मतिदो माली मुक्तामालाविभूषणः ।
bhavyō bhōgīśvarō bhāvyō bhavanāśō bhavapriyaḥ
In the form of a child, the essence of Brahman, a celibate beloved of the wise.
मनोहरो महामुख्यो महर्धिर्मूर्तिमान्मुनिः ॥ ९० ॥
bhaktigamyō bhayaharō bhāvajñō bhaktasupriyaḥ
Well-versed and highly regarded, dear to the Brahmanas.
महोत्तमो महोपायो मोक्षदो मङ्गलप्रदः ।
bhuktimuktipradō bhōgī bhagavān bhāgyavardhanaḥ
The mighty one who destroys the strong, multifaceted and generous.
मुदाकरो मुक्तिदाता महाभोगो महोरगः ॥ ९१ ॥
bhrājiṣṇurbhāvanō bhartā bhīmō bhīmaparākramaḥ
The great, radiant, and newly manifested, the vast army of the divine.
यशस्करो योगयोनिर्योगिष्ठो यमिनां वरः ।
bhūtidō bhūtikr̥dbhōktā bhūtātmā bhuvanēśvaraḥ
With many arms, the glorious one, the destroyer of many demons.
यशस्वी योगपुरुषो योग्यो योगनिधिर्यमी ॥ ९२ ॥
bhāvakō bhīkarō bhīṣmō bhāvakēṣṭō bhavōdbhavaḥ
Situated at the entrance of the cave, the wielder of the great power bow.
यतिसेव्यो योगयुक्तो योगविद्योगसिद्धिदः ।
bhavatāpapraśamanō bhōgavān bhūtabhāvanaḥ
With the brilliance of a young sun, a child with a broad chest and a great bow.
यन्त्रो यन्त्री च यन्त्रज्ञो यन्त्रवान्यन्त्रवाहकः ॥ ९३ ॥
bhōjyapradō bhrāntināśō bhānumān bhuvanāśrayaḥ
The magnificent lord of enjoyment, the one who destroys the cycle of existence, beloved of the world.
यातनारहितो योगी योगीशो योगिनां वरः ।
bhūribhōgapradō bhadrō bhajanīyō bhiṣagvaraḥ
Accessible through devotion, the remover of fear, knowledgeable of the essence, dear to the devoted.
रमणीयो रम्यरूपो रसज्ञो रसभावनः ॥ ९४ ॥
mahāsēnō mahōdārō mahāśaktirmahādyutiḥ
Granting both enjoyment and liberation, the lord of fortune, the one who increases prosperity.
रञ्जनो रञ्जितो रागी रुचिरो रुद्रसम्भवः ।
mahābuddhirmahāvīryō mahōtsāhō mahābalaḥ
Shining with brilliance, the one who brings forth existence, the mighty one with great strength.
रणप्रियो रणोदारो रागद्वेषविनाशनः ॥ ९५ ॥
mahābhōgī mahāmāyī mēdhāvī mēkhalī mahān
The giver of well-being, the creator of beings, the soul of all beings, the lord of the worlds.
रत्नार्ची रुचिरो रम्यो रूपलावण्यविग्रहः ।
munistutō mahāmānyō mahānandō mahāyaśāḥ
The one who inspires awe, the terrifying one, the source of all existence.
रत्नाङ्गदधरो रत्नभूषणो रमणीयकः ॥ ९६ ॥
mahōrjitō mānanidhirmanōrathaphalapradaḥ
The remover of your sins, the divine one, the creator of all beings.
रुचिकृद्रोचमानश्च रञ्जितो रोगनाशनः ।
mahōdayō mahāpuṇyō mahābalaparākramaḥ
The giver of food, the destroyer of delusion, the sun of the world
राजीवाक्षो राजराजो रक्तमाल्यानुलेपनः ॥ ९७ ॥
mānadō matidō mālī muktāmālāvibhūṣaṇaḥ
The bestower of great enjoyment, the auspicious one, worthy of worship, the great physician
राजद्वेदागमस्तुत्यो रजःसत्त्वगुणान्वितः ।
manōharō mahāmukhyō mahardhirmūrtimānmuniḥ
The great army, the very generous, the immensely powerful, the one of great splendor
रजनीशकलारम्यो रत्नकुण्डलमण्डितः ॥ ९८ ॥
mahōttamō mahōpāyō mōkṣadō maṅgalapradaḥ
The great intellect, the great valor, the one of immense enthusiasm, the very strong
रत्नसन्मौलिशोभाढ्यो रणन्मञ्जीरभूषणः ।
mudākarō muktidātā mahābhōgō mahōragaḥ
The great enjoyer, the great illusionist, the wise, the one adorned with a great garland
लोकैकनाथो लोकेशो ललितो लोकनायकः ॥ ९९ ॥
yaśaskarō yōgayōniryōgiṣṭhō yamināṁ varaḥ
The sage praised, the greatly esteemed, the one of great bliss, the one of great fame
लोकरक्षो लोकशिक्षो लोकलोचनरञ्जितः ।

The one of great rise, the greatly virtuous, the one of immense strength and prowess
लोकचूडामणिर्लोकवन्द्यो लावण्यविग्रहः ।
yantrō yantrī ca yantrajñō yantravānyantravāhakaḥ
The giver of honor, the giver of wisdom, the gardener, the ornament of a pearl garland
लोकाध्यक्षस्तु लीलावान्लोकोत्तरगुणान्वितः ॥ १०१ ॥
yātanārahitō yōgī yōgīśō yōgināṁ varaḥ
The charming one, the great chief, the one of great wealth, the sage with form
वरिष्ठो वरदो वैद्यो विशिष्टो विक्रमो विभुः ।

The glorious one, the yogic person, the one who is worthy, the treasure of yoga, the controller
वचस्करो व्यापकश्च विज्ञानी विनयान्वितः ।
ratnāṅgadadharō ratnabhūṣaṇō ramaṇīyakaḥ
The one to be served by ascetics, the one endowed with yoga, the knower of yoga, the one who accomplishes yoga.
विद्वत्तमो विरोधिघ्नो वीरो विगतरागवान् ॥ १०४ ॥
rucikr̥drōcamānaśca rañjitō rōganāśanaḥ
The machine and the operator, the knower of the machine, the bearer of the machine,
वीतभावो विनीतात्मा वेदगर्भो वसुप्रदः ।
rājīvākṣō rājarājō raktamālyānulēpanaḥ
The yogi free from suffering, the lord of yogis, the best among yogis.
विश्वदीप्तिर्विशालाक्षो विजितात्मा विभावनः ॥ १०५ ॥
rājadvēdāgamastutyō rajaḥsattvaguṇānvitaḥ
Beautiful, of lovely form, knowledgeable in essence, the essence-giver,
वेदवेद्यो विधेयात्मा वीतदोषश्च वेदवित् ।
rajanīśakalāramyō ratnakuṇḍalamaṇḍitaḥ
The one who delights, adorned, passionate, charming, born of Rudra.
विश्वकर्मा वीतभयो वागीशो वासवार्चितः ॥ १०६ ॥
ratnasanmauliśōbhāḍhyō raṇanmañjīrabhūṣaṇaḥ
The beloved of battle, generous in war, the destroyer of attachment and aversion,
वीरध्वंसो विश्वमूर्तिर्विश्वरूपो वरासनः ।
lōkaikanāthō lōkēśō lalitō lōkanāyakaḥ
The jewel-like, charming, beautiful, embodiment of grace and beauty.
विशाखो विमलो वाग्मी विद्वान्वेदधरो वटुः ॥ १०७ ॥
lōkarakṣō lōkaśikṣō lōkalōcanarañjitaḥ
The one who bears a jewel-anklet, adorned with precious ornaments, delightful.
वीरचूडामणिर्वीरो विद्येशो विबुधाश्रयः ।
lōkabandhurlōkadhātā lōkatrayamahāhitaḥ
The one who is pleasing, who dispels diseases, adorned with delightful features.
विजयी विनयी वेत्ता वरीयान्विरजा वसुः ॥ १०८ ॥
lōkacūḍāmaṇirlōkavandyō lāvaṇyavigrahaḥ
With lotus-like eyes, the king of kings, smeared with red garlands,
वीरघ्नो विज्वरो वेद्यो वेगवान्वीर्यवान्वशी ।
lōkādhyakṣastu līlāvānlōkōttaraguṇānvitaḥ
The one praised in the Vedas and Agamas, endowed with the qualities of purity and strength.
वरशीलो वरगुणो विशोको वज्रधारकः ॥ १०९ ॥
variṣṭhō varadō vaidyō viśiṣṭō vikramō vibhuḥ
The beautiful moon of the night, adorned with a jewel-studded crown,
शरजन्मा शक्तिधरः शत्रुघ्नः शिखिवाहनः ।
vibudhāgracarō vaśyō vikalpaparivarjitaḥ
The one whose head is adorned with the beauty of a jeweled crown, the bearer of jingling anklets.
श्रीमान् शिष्टः शुचिः शुद्धः शाश्वतः श्रुतिसागरः ॥ ११० ॥
vipāśō vigatātaṅkō vicitrāṅgō virōcanaḥ
The lord of the world, the lord of beings, charming, the leader of the world.
शरण्यः शुभदः शर्म शिष्टेष्टः शुभलक्षणः ।
vidyādharō viśuddhātmā vēdāṅgō vibudhapriyaḥ
The protector of the world, the teacher of the world, delightful to the eyes of the world.
शान्तः शूलधरः श्रेष्ठः शुद्धात्मा शङ्करः शिवः ॥ १११ ॥
vacaskarō vyāpakaśca vijñānī vinayānvitaḥ
The binder of the world, the creator of the world, the great benefactor of the three worlds.
शितिकण्ठात्मजः शूरः शान्तिदः शोकनाशनः ।
vidvattamō virōdhighnō vīrō vigatarāgavān
The crown jewel of the world, worthy of worship by all,
षाण्मातुरः षण्मुखश्च षड्गुणैश्वर्यसम्युतः ॥ ११२ ॥
vītabhāvō vinītātmā vēdagarbhō vasupradaḥ
Embodiment of grace, endowed with the finest qualities.
षट्चक्रस्थः षडूर्मिघ्नः षडङ्गश्रुतिपारगः ।
viśvadīptirviśālākṣō vijitātmā vibhāvanaḥ
The supreme one, the granter of boons, a skilled healer,
षड्भावरहितः षट्कः षट्छास्त्रस्मृतिपारगः ॥ ११३ ॥
vēdavēdyō vidhēyātmā vītadōṣaśca vēdavit
Distinguished, valorous, and all-pervading.
षड्वर्गदाता षड्ग्रीवः षडरिघ्नः षडाश्रयः ।
viśvakarmā vītabhayō vāgīśō vāsavārcitaḥ
The foremost among the wise, captivating, free from doubt,
षट्किरीटधरः श्रीमान् षडाधारश्च षट्क्रमः ॥ ११४ ॥
vīradhvaṁsō viśvamūrtirviśvarūpō varāsanaḥ
With a body of diverse forms, shining brilliantly.
षट्कोणमध्यनिलयः षण्डत्वपरिहारकः ।
viśākhō vimalō vāgmī vidvānvēdadharō vaṭuḥ
A master of knowledge, pure in spirit, beloved by the wise,
सेनानीः सुभगः स्कन्दः सुरानन्दः सतां गतिः ॥ ११५ ॥
vīracūḍāmaṇirvīrō vidyēśō vibudhāśrayaḥ
A speaker of truth, expansive, and endowed with humility.
सुब्रह्मण्यः सुराध्यक्षः सर्वज्ञः सर्वदः सुखी ।
vijayī vinayī vēttā varīyānvirajā vasuḥ
The most learned, a conqueror of opposition, a hero, free from passion,
सुलभः सिद्धिदः सौम्यः सिद्धेशः सिद्धिसाधनः ॥ ११६ ॥
vīraghnō vijvarō vēdyō vēgavānvīryavānvaśī
With a composed mind, humble in nature, a giver of wealth.
सिद्धार्थः सिद्धसङ्कल्पः सिद्धसाधुः सुरेश्वरः ।
varaśīlō varaguṇō viśōkō vajradhārakaḥ
The light of the universe, with wide eyes, self-controlled, and creative,
सुभुजः सर्वदृक्साक्षी सुप्रसादः सनातनः ॥ ११७ ॥
śarajanmā śaktidharaḥ śatrughnaḥ śikhivāhanaḥ
Known through the Vedas, with a pure nature, free from faults.
सुधापतिः स्वयञ्ज्योतिः स्वयम्भूः सर्वतोमुखः ।
śrīmān śiṣṭaḥ śuciḥ śuddhaḥ śāśvataḥ śrutisāgaraḥ
The universal architect, fearless, the lord of speech, worshipped by the gods,
समर्थः सत्कृतिः सूक्ष्मः सुघोषः सुखदः सुहृत् ॥ ११८ ॥
śaraṇyaḥ śubhadaḥ śarma śiṣṭēṣṭaḥ śubhalakṣaṇaḥ
The destroyer of the heroic, the embodiment of the universe, with a universal form,
सुप्रसन्नः सुरश्रेष्ठः सुशीलः सत्यसाधकः ।
śāntaḥ śūladharaḥ śrēṣṭhaḥ śuddhātmā śaṅkaraḥ śivaḥ
The pure one, eloquent, knowledgeable, and a bearer of the Vedas.
सम्भाव्यः सुमनाः सेव्यः सकलागमपारगः ॥ ११९ ॥
śitikaṇṭhātmajaḥ śūraḥ śāntidaḥ śōkanāśanaḥ
The jewel of heroes, the hero of knowledge, a refuge for the wise.
सुव्यक्तः सच्चिदानन्दः सुवीरः सुजनाश्रयः ।
ṣāṇmāturaḥ ṣaṇmukhaśca ṣaḍguṇaiśvaryasamyutaḥ
Victorious, humble, knowledgeable, the best among the noble,
सर्वलक्षणसम्पन्नः सत्यधर्मपरायणः ॥ १२० ॥
ṣaṭcakrasthaḥ ṣaḍūrmighnaḥ ṣaḍaṅgaśrutipāragaḥ
The hero-slayer, free from disease, worthy of worship, swift, powerful, and self-controlled.
सर्वदेवमयः सत्यः सदा मृष्टान्नदायकः ।
ṣaḍbhāvarahitaḥ ṣaṭkaḥ ṣaṭchāstrasmr̥tipāragaḥ
Of excellent character, endowed with virtues, free from sorrow, bearer of the thunderbolt,
सुधापी सुमतिः सत्यः सर्वविघ्नविनाशनः ॥ १२१ ॥
ṣaḍvargadātā ṣaḍgrīvaḥ ṣaḍarighnaḥ ṣaḍāśrayaḥ
Born from the arrow, holder of power, slayer of enemies, and carrier of the peacock.
सर्वदुःखप्रशमनः सुकुमारः सुलोचनः ।
ṣaṭkirīṭadharaḥ śrīmān ṣaḍādhāraśca ṣaṭkramaḥ
Glorious, cultured, pure, eternal, an ocean of scriptures,
सुग्रीवः सुधृतिः सारः सुराराध्यः सुविक्रमः ॥ १२२ ॥
ṣaṭkōṇamadhyanilayaḥ ṣaṇḍatvaparihārakaḥ
A refuge, bestower of auspiciousness, protector, beloved of the cultured, and endowed with auspicious marks.
सुरारिघ्नः स्वर्णवर्णः सर्पराजः सदा शुचिः ।
sēnānīḥ subhagaḥ skandaḥ surānandaḥ satāṁ gatiḥ
Calm, holder of the trident, supreme, pure-souled, auspicious, and auspicious.
सप्तार्चिर्भूः सुरवरः सर्वायुधविशारदः ॥ १२३ ॥
subrahmaṇyaḥ surādhyakṣaḥ sarvajñaḥ sarvadaḥ sukhī
Son of the cool-throated one, brave, bestower of peace, and destroyer of sorrow.
हस्तिचर्माम्बरसुतो हस्तिवाहनसेवितः ।
sulabhaḥ siddhidaḥ saumyaḥ siddhēśaḥ siddhisādhanaḥ
Possessing six mothers, with six faces, endowed with the six virtues of prosperity,
हस्तचित्रायुधधरो हृताघो हसिताननः ॥ १२४ ॥
siddhārthaḥ siddhasaṅkalpaḥ siddhasādhuḥ surēśvaraḥ
Residing in the six chakras, destroyer of the six enemies, expert in the six scriptures.
हेमभूषो हरिद्वर्णो हृष्टिदो हृष्टिवर्धनः ।
subhujaḥ sarvadr̥ksākṣī suprasādaḥ sanātanaḥ
Free from the six states of existence, the sixth, a master of the six scriptures,
हेमाद्रिभिद्धंसरूपो हुङ्कारहतकिल्बिषः ॥ १२५ ॥
sudhāpatiḥ svayañjyōtiḥ svayambhūḥ sarvatōmukhaḥ
Bestower of the six categories, with six necks, slayer of the six enemies, and the sixth refuge.
हिमाद्रिजातातनुजो हरिकेशो हिरण्मयः ।
samarthaḥ satkr̥tiḥ sūkṣmaḥ sughōṣaḥ sukhadaḥ suhr̥t
Bearer of the six crowns, glorious, the sixth support, and the six processes.
हृद्यो हृष्टो हरिसखो हंसो हंसगतिर्हविः ॥ १२६ ॥
suprasannaḥ suraśrēṣṭhaḥ suśīlaḥ satyasādhakaḥ
Residing in the center of the hexagon, remover of the state of being a hermaphrodite,
हिरण्यवर्णो हितकृद्धर्षदो हेमभूषणः ।
sambhāvyaḥ sumanāḥ sēvyaḥ sakalāgamapāragaḥ
Leader of the army, auspicious, Skanda, delight of the gods, and the path of the virtuous.
हरप्रियो हितकरो हतपापो हरोद्भवः ॥ १२७ ॥
suvyaktaḥ saccidānandaḥ suvīraḥ sujanāśrayaḥ
Subrahmanya, the chief of the gods, all-knowing, always happy.
क्षेमदः क्षेमकृत्क्षेम्यः क्षेत्रज्ञः क्षामवर्जितः ।
sarvalakṣaṇasampannaḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ
Easily attainable, bestower of success, gentle, lord of accomplishments.
क्षेत्रपालः क्षमाधारः क्षेमक्षेत्रः क्षमाकरः ॥ १२८ ॥
sarvadēvamayaḥ satyaḥ sadā mr̥ṣṭānnadāyakaḥ
One who has attained perfection, resolute in purpose, virtuous, lord of the gods.
क्षुद्रघ्नः क्षान्तिदः क्षेमः क्षितिभूषः क्षमाश्रयः ।
sudhāpī sumatiḥ satyaḥ sarvavighnavināśanaḥ
With beautiful arms, all-seeing, endowed with grace, eternal.
क्षालिताघः क्षितिधरः क्षीणसंरक्षणक्षमः ॥ १२९ ॥
sarvaduḥkhapraśamanaḥ sukumāraḥ sulōcanaḥ
Lord of nectar, self-luminous, self-existent, facing all directions.
क्षणभङ्गुरसन्नद्धघनशोभिकपर्दकः ।
sugrīvaḥ sudhr̥tiḥ sāraḥ surārādhyaḥ suvikramaḥ
Capable, giver of honor, subtle, with a pleasant sound, bestower of happiness, a friend.
क्षितिभृन्नाथतनयामुखपङ्कजभास्करः ॥ १३० ॥
surārighnaḥ svarṇavarṇaḥ sarparājaḥ sadā śuciḥ
Always cheerful, best among the gods, well-behaved, seeker of truth.
क्षताहितः क्षरः क्षन्ता क्षतदोषः क्षमानिधिः ।
saptārcirbhūḥ suravaraḥ sarvāyudhaviśāradaḥ
To be revered, of good intellect, worthy of service, master of all scriptures.
क्षपिताखिलसन्तापः क्षपानाथसमाननः ॥ १३१ ॥
hasticarmāmbarasutō hastivāhanasēvitaḥ
Clearly expressed, existence-consciousness-bliss, valiant, refuge of good people.
उत्तर न्यासः ।
hastacitrāyudhadharō hr̥tāghō hasitānanaḥ
Endowed with all auspicious signs, devoted to truth and righteousness.
करन्यासः –
hēmabhūṣō haridvarṇō hr̥ṣṭidō hr̥ṣṭivardhanaḥ
Permeated with divinity, the ultimate truth, always the giver of pure food.
ओं शं ओङ्कारस्वरूपाय ओजोधराय ओजस्विने सुहृदयाय हृष्टचित्तात्मने भास्वररूपाय अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां नमः ।
hēmādribhiddhaṁsarūpō huṅkārahatakilbiṣaḥ
Bestower of nectar-like wisdom, truthful, remover of all obstacles.
ओं रं षट्कोणमध्यनिलयाय षट्किरीटधराय श्रीमते षडाधाराय तर्जनीभ्यां नमः । ओं वं षण्मुखाय शरजन्मने शुभलक्षणाय शिखिवाहनाय मध्यमाभ्यां नमः ।
himādrijātātanujō harikēśō hiraṇmayaḥ
Reliever of all sorrows, delicate, with beautiful eyes.
ओं णं कृशानुसम्भवाय कवचिने कुक्कुटध्वजाय अनामिकाभ्यां नमः । ओं भं कन्दर्पकोटिदीप्यमानाय द्विषड्बाहवे द्वादशाक्षाय कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः ।
hr̥dyō hr̥ṣṭō harisakhō haṁsō haṁsagatirhaviḥ
Sugriva, of firm resolve, essence, worthy of worship by the gods, of great valor.
ओं वं खेटधराय खड्गिने शक्तिहस्ताय करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः । हृदयादिन्यासः –
hiraṇyavarṇō hitakr̥ddharṣadō hēmabhūṣaṇaḥ
Slayer of enemies, golden-hued, king of serpents, always pure.
ओं शं ओङ्कारस्वरूपाय ओजोधराय ओजस्विने सुहृदयाय हृष्टचित्तात्मने भास्वररूपाय हृदयाय नमः । ओं रं षट्कोणमध्यनिलयाय षट्किरीटधराय श्रीमते षडाधाराय शिरसे स्वाहा ।
harapriyō hitakarō hatapāpō harōdbhavaḥ
The seven flames, the best among the gods, skilled in all weapons,
ओं वं षण्मुखाय शरजन्मने शुभलक्षणाय शिखिवाहनाय शिखायै वषट् । ओं णं कृशानुसम्भवाय कवचिने कुक्कुटध्वजाय कवचाय हुम् ।
kṣēmadaḥ kṣēmakr̥tkṣēmyaḥ kṣētrajñaḥ kṣāmavarjitaḥ
Son of the elephant hide, served by the elephant-rider,
ओं भं कन्दर्पकोटिदीप्यमानाय द्विषड्बाहवे द्वादशाक्षाय नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट् । ओं वं खेटधराय खड्गिने शक्तिहस्ताय अस्त्राय फट् ।
kṣētrapālaḥ kṣamādhāraḥ kṣēmakṣētraḥ kṣamākaraḥ
Bearer of the colorful weapon, with a joyful face,
भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्विमोकः । फलश्रुति ।
kṣudraghnaḥ kṣāntidaḥ kṣēmaḥ kṣitibhūṣaḥ kṣamāśrayaḥ
Adorned with gold, of greenish hue, the one who brings joy and increases happiness,
इति नाम्नां सहस्राणि षण्मुखस्य च नारद । यः पठेच्छृणुयाद्वापि भक्तियुक्तेन चेतसा ॥ १ ॥
kṣālitāghaḥ kṣitidharaḥ kṣīṇasaṁrakṣaṇakṣamaḥ
With a form that pierces the golden mountain, dispeller of sins by the sound of his roar,
स सद्यो मुच्यते पापैर्मनोवाक्कायसम्भवैः । आयुर्वृद्धिकरं पुंसां स्थैर्यवीर्यविवर्धनम् ॥ २ ॥
kṣaṇabhaṅgurasannaddhaghanaśōbhikapardakaḥ
Born from the snowy mountain, with golden hair,
वाक्येनैकेन वक्ष्यामि वाञ्छितार्थं प्रयच्छति । तस्मात्सर्वात्मना ब्रह्मन्नियमेन जपेत्सुधीः ॥ ३ ॥
kṣitibhr̥nnāthatanayāmukhapaṅkajabhāskaraḥ
In the heart, joyful, friend of the divine, the swan, the one who moves like a swan,
इति स्कन्दपुराणे ईश्वरप्रोक्ते ब्रह्मनारदसंवादे श्री सुब्रह्मण्य सहस्रनाम स्तोत्रम् । श्री सुब्रह्मण्य स्तोत्राणि
