लिङ्गमूर्तिं शिवं स्तुत्वा गायत्र्या योगमाप्तवान् । निर्वाणं परमं ब्रह्म वसिष्ठोऽन्यश्च शङ्करात् ॥ १ ॥
liṅgamūrtiṁ śivaṁ stutvā gāyatryā yōgamāptavān
I bow to the golden linga, I bow to the linga of the Vedas.
नमः कनकलिङ्गाय वेदलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नमः परमलिङ्गाय व्योमलिङ्गाय वै नमः ॥ २ ॥
nirvāṇaṁ paramaṁ brahma vasiṣṭhō:'nyaśca śaṅkarāt
I bow to the supreme linga, I bow to the linga of the sky.
नमः सहस्रलिङ्गाय वह्निलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नमः पुराणलिङ्गाय श्रुतिलिङ्गाय वै नमः ॥ ३ ॥
namaḥ kanakaliṅgāya vēdaliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the thousand lingas, I bow to the linga of fire.
नमः पाताललिङ्गाय ब्रह्मलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नमो रहस्यलिङ्गाय सप्तद्वीपोर्ध्वलिङ्गिने ॥ ४ ॥
namaḥ paramaliṅgāya vyōmaliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the ancient linga, I bow to the linga of the scriptures.
नमः सर्वात्मलिङ्गाय सर्वलोकाङ्गलिङ्गिने । नमस्त्वव्यक्तलिङ्गाय बुद्धिलिङ्गाय वै नमः ॥ ५ ॥
namaḥ sahasraliṅgāya vahniliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the linga of the netherworld, I bow to the linga of Brahma.
नमोऽहङ्कारलिङ्गाय भूतलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नम इन्द्रियलिङ्गाय नमस्तन्मात्रलिङ्गिने ॥ ६ ॥
namaḥ purāṇaliṅgāya śrutiliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the secret linga, the linga of the seven islands.
नमः पुरुषलिङ्गाय भावलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नमो रजोर्धलिङ्गाय सत्त्वलिङ्गाय वै नमः ॥ ७ ॥
namaḥ pātālaliṅgāya brahmaliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the linga of the all-pervading soul, the linga of all worlds.
नमस्ते भवलिङ्गाय नमस्त्रैगुण्यलिङ्गिने । नमोऽनागतलिङ्गाय तेजोलिङ्गाय वै नमः ॥ ८ ॥
namō rahasyaliṅgāya saptadvīpōrdhvaliṅginē
I bow to the unmanifest linga, I bow to the linga of intellect.
नमो वायूर्ध्वलिङ्गाय श्रुतिलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नमस्तेऽथर्वलिङ्गाय सामलिङ्गाय वै नमः ॥ ९ ॥
namaḥ sarvātmaliṅgāya sarvalōkāṅgaliṅginē
I bow to the linga of ego, I bow to the linga of the elements.
नमो यज्ञाङ्गलिङ्गाय यज्ञलिङ्गाय वै नमः । नमस्ते तत्त्वलिङ्गाय देवानुगतलिङ्गिने ॥ १० ॥
namastvavyaktaliṅgāya buddhiliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the linga of the senses, I bow to the linga of the subtle elements.
दिश नः परमं योगमपत्यं मत्समं तथा । ब्रह्म चैवाक्षयं देव शमं चैव परं विभो ।
namō:'haṅkāraliṅgāya bhūtaliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to the linga of the person, I bow to the linga of existence.
अक्षयत्वं च वंशस्य धर्मे च मतिमक्षयाम् ॥ ११ ॥
nama indriyaliṅgāya namastanmātraliṅginē
I bow to the linga of the three gunas, I bow to the linga of being.
अग्निरुवाच ।
namaḥ puruṣaliṅgāya bhāvaliṅgāya vai namaḥ
I bow to you, O linga of existence, I bow to the linga of the three qualities.
वसिष्ठेन स्तुतः शम्भुस्तुष्टः श्रीपर्वते पुरा । वसिष्ठाय वरं दत्वा तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ॥ १२ ॥
namō rajōrdhaliṅgāya sattvaliṅgāya vai namaḥ

इत्याग्ने महापुराणे सप्तदशाधिकद्विशततमोऽध्याये वसिष्ठकृत परमेश्वर स्तुतिः ॥
