हे भगवद् गीते, आपकी जय हो! आप भगवान हरि के हृदय कमल में निवास करने वाली हैं, अत्यंत सुंदर और पवित्र हैं। आप कर्म के गूढ़ रहस्य को प्रकाशित करने वाली हैं, जिससे मनुष्य सही मार्ग पर चल पाता है। Hail to you, Bhagavad Gita! You reside in the lotus heart of Lord Hari, beautiful and supremely pure. You illuminate the profound secrets of action (karma), guiding humanity towards the righteous path.

आप काम और आसक्ति को हरने वाली हैं, जो मनुष्य को बंधन में डालते हैं। आप आत्मज्ञान का विकास करती हैं और परम विद्या, ब्रह्मज्ञान को प्रदान करने वाली हैं। आपके माध्यम से ही जीव ब्रह्म के वास्तविक स्वरूप को जान पाता है। You are the remover of desire and attachment, which bind human beings. You foster the development of self-knowledge and bestow the supreme wisdom, the knowledge of Brahman. Through you alone, the soul comes to know the true nature of the Absolute.
