हे जगत् की जननी, आपकी जय हो! आप भय को हरने वाली हैं और भवसागर से तारने वाली हैं। आप भगवान शिव की प्रिय पत्नी हैं। हम आपकी बारम्बार जय-जयकार करते हैं। Victory to the Mother of the Universe! You are the remover of fears and the one who helps us cross the ocean of worldly existence. You are the beloved consort of Lord Shiva. We repeatedly hail your victory.

हे देवी, आप ही सत्-चित्-आनंद स्वरूपिणी शुद्ध ब्रह्म हैं। आप सत्य, सनातन और परम सुंदर हैं, जो शिव के भी ऊपर हैं और देवताओं की रानी हैं। आपका स्वरूप अत्यंत पावन और दिव्य है। O Goddess, you are the pure Brahman, embodying truth, consciousness, and bliss. You are eternal truth, supremely beautiful, superior even to Shiva, and the sovereign of the gods. Your form is utterly sacred and divine.

Victory to the Mother of the Universe! You are without beginning or end, free from illness, unwavering, and indestructible. You are pure, infinite, imperceptible, and a boundless treasure of joy.

O Goddess, you are immutable, the remover of sins, beyond all arts, yet the embodiment of all arts. You are the creator as Brahma, the sustainer as Vishnu, and the destroyer as Shiva.

Repetition of verse 1. हे देवी, आप ही ब्रह्मा की पत्नी सरस्वती हैं, विष्णु की पत्नी लक्ष्मी हैं, शिव की पत्नी उमा (पार्वती) हैं और महामाया हैं। आप ही मूल प्रकृति हैं, विद्या का स्वरूप हैं, जननी हैं और पुत्री भी हैं। Repetition of verse 1. O Goddess, you are Saraswati, the consort of Brahma; Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu; Uma (Parvati), the consort of Shiva; and the great illusion (Mahamaya). You are the primordial nature, the embodiment of knowledge, the mother, and also the daughter.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप ही राम हैं, आप ही कृष्ण हैं, आप ही सीता हैं और आप ही व्रज की रानी राधा हैं। आप कल्पवृक्ष के समान सभी इच्छाओं को पूर्ण करने वाली हैं और सभी बाधाओं को हरने वाली हैं। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You are identified with the divine forms of Ram, Krishna, Sita, and Radha, the queen of Braj. You are like the wish-fulfilling tree, granting all desires and removing all obstacles from the path of your devotees.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप ही दस महाविद्याएं हैं, आप ही नवदुर्गा के रूप में पूजी जाती हैं, और आप ही अनेक प्रकार के शस्त्रों को धारण करने वाली हैं। आप अष्टमातृका और योगिनियों के रूप में भी प्रकट होती हैं, और आप ही नित्य नए-नए रूप धारण करती हैं। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You embody the Ten Mahavidyas and the Nine Durgas, wielding various weapons in your many hands. You manifest as the Ashtamatrikas and Yoginis, constantly assuming new and diverse forms for the welfare of the world.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप ही परमधाम में निवास करने वाली हैं और महाविलास करने वाली हैं, अर्थात अत्यंत आनंदमयी हैं। साथ ही, आप ही श्मशान में विहार करने वाली और तांडव नृत्य में लीन रहने वाली हैं, जो आपके रौद्र रूप को दर्शाता है। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You reside in the highest abode, reveling in great bliss and joy. Simultaneously, you are the one who roams in cremation grounds and delights in the Tandava dance, symbolizing your fierce and transformative aspects.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप देवताओं और मुनियों को मोहित करने वाली सौम्य और अत्यंत शोभा की आधार हैं। वहीं, आप ही वस्त्रहीन, विकराल रूप वाली और प्रलयकारी धारा के समान हैं, जो सृष्टि के संहार का प्रतीक है। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You are the enchanting and gentle one, the very foundation of beauty, captivating gods and sages alike. Yet, you also manifest as the naked, fierce-looking, and destructive force, embodying the deluge that brings about the dissolution of the cosmos.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप ही स्नेह और अमृत से परिपूर्ण हैं, और आप ही अत्यंत विषैले मन वाली भी हैं। आप ही रत्नों से सुशोभित हैं, और आप ही अस्थियों से बनी हुई भी हैं, जो आपके विरोधाभासी और सर्वव्यापी स्वरूप को दर्शाता है। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You are full of love and nectar, yet you can also possess an extremely poisonous mind. You are adorned with precious jewels, and at the same time, you are made of bones, illustrating your paradoxical and all-encompassing nature.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप मूलाधार चक्र में निवास करने वाली हैं और इस लोक तथा परलोक दोनों में सिद्धियाँ प्रदान करने वाली हैं। आप काल से परे काली माँ का स्वरूप हैं और कमल पर विराजमान होकर वरदान देने वाली कमला भी आप ही हैं। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You reside in the Muladhara chakra, granting accomplishments in both this world and the afterlife. You are the timeless Kali, beyond the grasp of time, and also Kamala, the goddess seated on a lotus, bestowing boons.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप भक्ति और शक्ति का स्वरूप हैं, शक्ति को धारण करने वाली हैं और नित्य अभेद रूप में स्थित हैं। हे विमल वाणी वाली माँ, आप ही वेदों की त्रयी (ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद, सामवेद) हैं और भेद को प्रकट करने वाली भी आप ही हैं। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You embody devotion and power, the very holder of strength, eternally non-dual. O Mother of pure speech, you are the three Vedas (Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda) and also the one who reveals distinctions.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! हम अत्यंत दीन-दुखी हैं और विपत्तियों के जाल में घिरे हुए हैं। यद्यपि हम कपूत और कपटी हैं, फिर भी हम आपके ही बालक हैं, माँ। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! We are extremely poor and sorrowful, entangled in a web of calamities. Although we may be unworthy and deceitful children, we are still yours, Mother.

हे जननी माँ, अपने स्वभाव के अनुसार हम पर दयादृष्टि कीजिए। हे करुणामयी माँ, हम पर करुणा करके अपने चरणों की शरण प्रदान कीजिए। O Mother, in accordance with your inherent nature, cast your merciful gaze upon us. O compassionate Mother, show us your mercy and grant us refuge at your feet.
