हे जगत् की जननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप सभी भयों को हरने वाली हैं और इस संसार सागर से तारने वाली हैं। हे भवभामिनि माँ, आपकी सदा जय हो, आप ही संपूर्ण सृष्टि की पालनहार हैं। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You are the remover of all fears and the one who helps us cross the ocean of worldly existence. O Divine Mother, who illuminates the world, victory be to you always, for you are the sustainer of all creation.

हे जगजननी माँ, आपकी जय हो! आप ही सत्-चित्-सुख स्वरूपिणी हैं, अर्थात् आप ही सत्य, चेतना और आनंद का मूर्त रूप हैं। आपकी सत्ता शाश्वत है। Hail to the Mother of the Universe! You embody Sat-Chit-Ananda, meaning you are the very essence of truth, consciousness, and bliss. Your existence is eternal and all-pervading.

आप शुद्ध ब्रह्म का स्वरूप हैं, जो सभी विकारों से रहित है। आप सत्य, सनातन और अत्यंत सुंदर हैं, और आप ही परम शिव की शक्ति तथा देवताओं की अधिष्ठात्री हैं। You are the embodiment of pure Brahman, free from all imperfections. You are truth, eternal, and exquisitely beautiful, the very power of the supreme Shiva and the sovereign of all deities.

आप आदि और अनादि हैं, रोगों से रहित हैं, अविचल और अविनाशी हैं। आप निर्मल, अनंत, अगोचर (इंद्रियों से परे) हैं, अजन्मा हैं और आनंद की राशि हैं। You are without beginning or end, free from all ailments, unwavering and indestructible. You are pure, infinite, imperceptible to the senses, unborn, and an embodiment of immense joy.

हे जगजननी माँ दुर्गा, आपकी जय हो, जय हो! आप समस्त संसार की माता हैं और आपकी महिमा अपरंपार है। हम सभी आपके चरणों में नमन करते हैं और आपकी स्तुति करते हैं। Hail, Mother of the Universe, Mother Durga! Your glory is boundless, and you are the creator and sustainer of all existence. We bow down to your feet and offer our praises to you.

हे देवी, आप विकार रहित हैं, पापों का नाश करने वाली हैं। आप अकलंक और सभी कलाओं को धारण करने वाली हैं। आप ब्रह्मा के रूप में सृष्टि करती हैं, विष्णु के रूप में पालन करती हैं और शिव के रूप में संहार करती हैं। O Goddess, you are immutable and the destroyer of sins. You are flawless and embody all arts and skills. You are the creator as Brahma, the preserver as Vishnu, and the destroyer as Shiva.

हे माँ, आप ब्रह्मा की पत्नी सरस्वती हैं, विष्णु की शक्ति लक्ष्मी हैं, और शिव की अर्धांगिनी उमा (पार्वती) हैं। आप महामाया हैं, जो इस संसार को रचती हैं, और मूल प्रकृति तथा विद्या का स्वरूप भी आप ही हैं। आप ही जननी हैं और आप ही पुत्री के रूप में प्रकट होती हैं। O Mother, you are Saraswati, the consort of Brahma; Lakshmi, the power of Vishnu; and Uma (Parvati), the beloved of Shiva. You are Mahamaya, the great illusion that creates this world, and you are the embodiment of primordial nature and knowledge. You are the mother, and you also manifest as the daughter.

हे देवी माँ, आप ही राम हैं और आप ही कृष्ण हैं। आप ही सीता हैं और व्रज की रानी राधा भी आप ही का स्वरूप हैं। आप कल्पवृक्ष के समान सभी इच्छाओं को पूर्ण करने वाली हैं और भक्तों के समस्त विघ्नों और बाधाओं को हरने वाली हैं। O Divine Mother, you are verily Rama and Krishna, embodying the divine masculine. You are also Sita and Radha, the queens of Vrindavan, representing the divine feminine. You are like the wish-fulfilling tree (Kalpavriksha), granting all desires, and the remover of all obstacles and difficulties for your devotees.

यह पंक्ति माँ जगजननी की जय-जयकार करती है, जो समस्त संसार की जननी हैं। यह उनके प्रति श्रद्धा और भक्ति का उद्घोष है। This line hails the Divine Mother, the mother of the entire universe. It is a declaration of devotion and reverence towards her, acknowledging her supreme motherhood.

हे माँ, आप ही दश महाविद्याओं के रूप में प्रकट होती हैं और आप ही नवदुर्गा के नौ रूपों में पूजी जाती हैं। आप अनेक प्रकार के शस्त्रों को धारण करने वाली हैं, अष्टमातृकाओं और योगिनियों के रूप में भी आप ही विभिन्न नए-नए रूप धारण करती हैं। O Mother, you manifest as the Ten Mahavidyas and are worshipped in the nine forms of Navadurga. You wield various weapons, symbolizing your power to protect and destroy evil. You also embody the Ashtamatrikas and Yoginis, constantly assuming new and diverse forms.

यह पंक्ति माँ जगजननी की जय-जयकार करती है, जो समस्त संसार की जननी हैं। यह उनके प्रति श्रद्धा और भक्ति का उद्घोष है। Repetition of verse 12.

हे माँ, आप ही परमधाम में निवास करने वाली हैं और आप ही महाविलासिनि हैं, जो आनंद और ऐश्वर्य से परिपूर्ण हैं। आश्चर्यजनक रूप से, आप ही श्मशान में विचरण करने वाली और तांडव नृत्य में लीन रहने वाली भी हैं, जो आपके संहारक और वैरागी स्वरूप को दर्शाता है। O Mother, you reside in the highest abode (Paramdham) and are the great enchantress (Mahavilasini), full of joy and splendor. Paradoxically, you are also the one who roams in cremation grounds (shmashanviharini) and delights in the fierce Tandava dance, showcasing your destructive and ascetic aspects.

हे माँ, आप देवताओं और मुनियों को भी मोहित करने वाली सौम्य और अत्यंत सुंदर हैं, आप ही समस्त शोभा का आधार हैं। वहीं, आप विकराल रूप धारण कर प्रलय लाने वाली भी हैं, जो दुष्टों का संहार करती हैं। यह आपके शांत और रौद्र दोनों रूपों का वर्णन करता है। O Mother, you are gentle and exceedingly beautiful, captivating even gods and sages, and you are the very source of all splendor. At the same time, you assume a fierce form, bringing about dissolution and destroying evil. This verse describes both your serene and formidable aspects.

हे देवी, आप ही अमृत के समान प्रेम से भरी हुई हैं, और आप ही अत्यंत क्रोधित मन वाली भी हैं। आप ही रत्नों से सुशोभित हैं, और आप ही अस्थियों से बनी हुई भी हैं। यह आपके विरोधाभासी किंतु पूर्ण स्वरूप को दर्शाता है, जहाँ आप सृजन और संहार दोनों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती हैं। O Goddess, you are filled with love like nectar, and you also possess an extremely wrathful mind. You are adorned with jewels, and you are also made of bones. This highlights your paradoxical yet complete nature, where you represent both creation and destruction.

हे देवी माँ, आप मूलाधार चक्र में निवास करने वाली हैं, जो समस्त सिद्धियों का मूल है। आप इस लोक और परलोक दोनों में सफलता प्रदान करने वाली हैं। आप काल से परे काली स्वरूप हैं और कमल पर विराजमान कमला के रूप में वरदान देने वाली हैं। O Divine Mother, you reside in the Muladhara chakra, the root of all spiritual attainments. You bestow success and fulfillment in both this world and the afterlife. You are the timeless Kali, transcending all limitations, and also the benevolent Kamala, granting boons to your devotees.

हे माँ, आप ही शक्ति हैं और शक्ति को धारण करने वाली भी आप ही हैं, आप नित्य अभेद स्वरूपिणी हैं। आप ही वाणी के माध्यम से ज्ञान और भेद को प्रकट करती हैं, हे विमल स्वरूपिणी, आप ही तीनों वेदों का सार हैं। O Mother, you are both the power (Shakti) and the one who wields that power, eternally non-dual. You manifest knowledge and distinctions through speech, and in your pure form, you embody the essence of the three Vedas.

जगजननी जय जय..॥ Repetition of verse 1

हे माँ, हम अत्यंत दीन-दुखी हैं और विपत्तियों के जाल में घिरे हुए हैं। हम भले ही कपूत और कपटी हों, पर फिर भी हम आपके ही बालक हैं और आपकी शरण में आए हैं। O Mother, we are extremely poor and distressed, entangled in a web of calamities. Even if we are unworthy and deceitful children, we are still your offspring and seek refuge at your feet.

यह पंक्ति माँ जगजननी की जय-जयकार करती है, जो पूरे संसार की माता हैं। भक्त उनके सर्वव्यापी और सर्वशक्तिमान स्वरूप को नमन करते हुए उनकी महिमा का गुणगान कर रहे हैं। यह उद्घोष देवी के प्रति असीम श्रद्धा और प्रेम को दर्शाता है। This line hails Mother Jagjanani, the universal mother of the entire world. Devotees bow to her omnipresent and omnipotent form, singing praises of her glory. This acclamation signifies immense faith and love towards the Goddess.

हे जननी माँ, अपने स्वाभाविक दयालु स्वभाव के कारण हम पर अपनी कृपा दृष्टि बनाए रखें। हे करुणा से भरी हुई करुणामयी माँ, हमें अपने चरणों की शरण प्रदान करें, ताकि हम सभी दुखों और भयों से मुक्त हो सकें। O Mother, by your inherent compassionate nature, please cast your merciful gaze upon us. O compassionate Mother, full of kindness, grant us refuge at your feet, so that we may be freed from all sorrows and fears.
