nāmu tero āratī bhajanu murāre, hari ke nāma binu jhūṭhe sagala pasāre| nāma terā āsano nāma terā urasā, nāmu terā kesaro le chiṭakāro| nāma terā aṁbhulā nāma terā caṁdanoghasi, jape nāma le tujhahi kau cāre|
हे मुरारी! आपका नाम ही मेरी आरती है और आपका भजन ही मेरा जीवन है। आपके नाम के बिना यह सारा संसार और इसके पसारे झूठे हैं। आपका नाम ही मेरा आसन है, आपका नाम ही मेरा चंदन है जिसे मैं घिसकर लगाता हूँ। आपका नाम ही मेरा जल है, आपका नाम ही मेरा चंदन है, जिसे मैं जपते हुए आपको अर्पित करता हूँ। O Murari! Your Name is my Aarti, and chanting Your Name is my devotion. Without Your Name, all the expansions of this world are false. Your Name is my seat, Your Name is my sandalwood paste. Your Name is my water, Your Name is my sandalwood, which I offer to You by chanting it.
नाम तेरा दीवा नाम तेरो बाती, नाम तेरो तेल ले माहि पसारे। नाम तेरे की ज्योति जगाई, भइलो उजिआरो भवन सगलारे।
nāma terā dīvā nāma tero bātī, nāma tero tela le māhi pasāre| nāma tere kī jyoti jagāī, bhailo ujiāro bhavana sagalāre|
हे प्रभु! आपका नाम ही मेरा दीपक है, आपका नाम ही उसकी बाती है, और आपका नाम ही वह तेल है जो उसमें भरा है। मैंने आपके नाम की ज्योति जलाई है, जिससे यह सारा संसार प्रकाशित हो गया है। O Lord! Your Name is my lamp, Your Name is its wick, and Your Name is the oil that fills it. I have lit the flame of Your Name, and by its light, this entire world has become illuminated.
नाम तेरो तागा नाम फूल माला, भार अठारह सगल जूठारे। तेरो कियो तुझ ही किया अरपउ, नाम तेरो तुही चंवर ढोलारे।
nāma tero tāgā nāma phūla mālā, bhāra aṭhāraha sagala jūṭhāre| tero kiyo tujha hī kiyā arapau, nāma tero tuhī caṁvara ḍholāre|
आपका नाम ही मेरा धागा है और फूलों की माला भी आपका नाम ही है, क्योंकि अठारह भार (समस्त वनस्पति) के फूल तो झूठे हैं। मैंने जो कुछ भी किया है, वह आपका ही दिया हुआ है, मैं आपको क्या अर्पित करूँ? आपका नाम ही मेरा चंवर है, जिसे मैं आपके ऊपर डुलाता हूँ। Your Name is my thread, and the garland of flowers is also Your Name, for the flowers of the eighteen loads (all vegetation) are transient. Whatever I have done is given by You, what can I offer to You? Your Name itself is my whisk (chamara), which I wave over You.
दस अठा अठसठे चारे खानी, इहै वरतणि है सगल संसारे। कहै 'रविदास' नाम तेरो आरती, सतिनाम है हरिभोग तुम्हारे।
dasa aṭhā aṭhasaṭhe cāre khānī, ihai varataṇi hai sagala saṁsāre| kahai 'ravidāsa' nāma tero āratī, satināma hai haribhoga tumhāre|
चौरासी लाख योनियाँ और चार खदानियाँ (उत्पत्ति के स्रोत) - यही इस पूरे संसार की वास्तविकता है। रविदास कहते हैं कि आपका नाम ही मेरी आरती है, और हे हरि, आपका सत्य नाम ही आपके भोग के समान है। The eighty-four lakh species and the four sources of creation (anda-ja, jara-ja, sweda-ja, udbhij-ja) — this is the reality of the entire world. Ravidas says that Your Name is my Aarti, and O Hari, Your True Name is like the offering (bhog) made to You.
