You are the 'Dinakar' (maker of the day) who illuminates the world. You are like the eyes of this entire universe, without whom nothing can be perceived. You embody the three Gunas – Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas – which are the fundamental qualities of creation.

हे सूर्य भगवान, सभी भक्तजन आपका ही ध्यान करते हैं और आपकी स्तुति गाते हैं। आपकी महिमा अपरंपार है और आप ही समस्त प्राणियों के जीवन का आधार हैं। हम सब आपके चरणों में नमन करते हैं। O Lord Surya, all devotees meditate upon you and sing your praises. Your glory is boundless, and you are the very foundation of life for all beings. We all bow down at your feet.

You are adorned with four arms, which signify your immense power and capability. Your divine form is exceedingly captivating.

आपके रथ को सात अश्व खींचते हैं, जो सप्ताह के सात दिनों और सात रंगों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। आप करोड़ों किरणों को फैलाते हैं, जिससे सारा संसार प्रकाशित होता है। आप वास्तव में एक महान देव हैं। Your chariot is drawn by seven horses, representing the seven days of the week and the seven colors of the spectrum. You spread millions of rays, illuminating the entire world. You are indeed a great and magnificent deity.

हे सूर्यदेव, जब आप उषाकाल में उदयाचल पर्वत पर प्रकट होते हैं, तो समस्त संसार आपके दर्शन पाकर धन्य हो जाता है। आपकी पहली किरणें ही जीवन का संचार करती हैं और सभी जीव आपके आगमन की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं। O Sun God, when you appear on the eastern mountain at dawn, the entire world is blessed by your sight. Your first rays infuse life, and all beings eagerly await your arrival.

आपके उदय होते ही चारों ओर प्रकाश फैल जाता है, जिससे सारा संसार जागृत हो उठता है। इस प्रकार, आपके प्रकाश और जीवनदायिनी शक्ति के लिए सभी प्राणी आपके गुणों का गान करते हैं और आपकी महिमा का बखान करते हैं। As you rise, light spreads everywhere, awakening the entire world. Thus, for your light and life-giving power, all beings sing your praises and extol your glory.

हे भुवन के ईश्वर, जब आप संध्या के समय अस्ताचल की ओर प्रस्थान करते हैं, तब दिनभर चरने के बाद गायें भी अपने घरों को लौट आती हैं। यह दृश्य आपके दैनिक चक्र और प्रकृति के संतुलन को दर्शाता है। O Lord of the universe, when you set towards the western mountain in the evening, the cattle, having grazed all day, return to their homes. This scene illustrates your daily cycle and the balance of nature.

गोधूलि की इस पवित्र बेला में, हर घर और हर आंगन में आपकी महिमा का गुणगान होता है। यह समय आपके दिनभर के प्रकाश और ऊर्जा के लिए कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने का होता है। In this sacred twilight hour, your glory is sung in every home and every courtyard. This is a time to express gratitude for your day-long light and energy.

देवता, दानव, नर, नारी, और ऋषि-मुनि सभी आपकी आराधना करते हैं। वे 'आदित्य हृदय' स्तोत्र का जप करते हुए आपकी शक्ति और कृपा का स्मरण करते हैं, क्योंकि आप ही समस्त सृष्टि के पालक हैं। Gods, demons, men, women, and sages all worship you. They chant the 'Aditya Hrudayam' hymn, remembering your power and grace, for you are the sustainer of all creation.

यह स्तोत्र अत्यंत मंगलकारी है, जो सूर्यदेव की महिमा का गान करता है। इसकी रचना अद्वितीय है, जो भक्तों के जीवन में नव चेतना और ऊर्जा भर देती है। सूर्यदेव की कृपा से ही हमें नया जीवन और स्फूर्ति प्राप्त होती है। This hymn is exceedingly auspicious, singing the glory of Lord Surya. Its composition is unique, filling the lives of devotees with new consciousness and energy. It is through the grace of Lord Surya that we receive new life and vitality.

हे सूर्यदेव, आप तीनों कालों (भूत, वर्तमान, भविष्य) के रचयिता हैं। आप ही इस संपूर्ण जगत के आधार स्तंभ हैं, जिस पर सृष्टि टिकी हुई है। आपकी महिमा अपरंपार है, जिसका वर्णन करना असंभव है। O Lord Surya, you are the creator of all three times (past, present, future). You are the fundamental support of this entire universe, upon which creation rests. Your glory is boundless and immeasurable, impossible to fully describe.

आप समस्त प्राणियों में प्राणों का संचार करते हैं और अपने भक्तों को विशेष रूप से बल, बुद्धि और ज्ञान प्रदान करते हैं। आपकी कृपा से ही भक्त शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से सशक्त होते हैं, और उन्हें सही मार्ग का बोध होता है। You infuse life into all beings and specifically bestow strength, intellect, and knowledge upon your devotees. It is through your grace that devotees become physically and mentally strong, and gain an understanding of the right path.

आप पृथ्वी पर चलने वाले (भूचर), जल में रहने वाले (जलचर) और आकाश में उड़ने वाले (खेचर) सभी जीवों के प्राण हैं। समस्त सृष्टि के कण-कण में आपकी ही प्राणशक्ति विद्यमान है, आप ही सभी जीवों के जीवन का आधार हैं। You are the life force of all beings that move on land (bhuchar), live in water (jalchar), and fly in the sky (khechar). Your vital energy is present in every particle of the entire creation; you are the very basis of life for all beings.

वेद और पुराण आपकी महिमा का बखान करते हैं, और सभी धर्म आपको सर्वोच्च शक्ति के रूप में स्वीकार करते हैं। आप ही इस ब्रह्मांड की एकमात्र सर्वशक्तिमान सत्ता हैं, जिससे सब कुछ संचालित होता है। The Vedas and Puranas extol your glory, and all religions acknowledge you as the supreme power. You are the one and only omnipotent entity of this universe, from whom everything operates.

हे सूर्यदेव, सभी दिशाएँ और दसों दिक्पाल आपकी पूजा करते हैं। आप ही इस समस्त ब्रह्मांड के पालनहार हैं, जो सभी जीवों का पोषण करते हैं। आपकी कृपा से ही यह सृष्टि संचालित होती है। O Sun God, all directions and the ten guardians of the directions worship you. You are the sustainer of all the worlds, nourishing all beings. It is by your grace that this creation functions.

हे भगवान सूर्य, सभी ऋतुएँ आपकी दासी के समान हैं, जो आपके आदेश पर बदलती हैं। आप शाश्वत और अविनाशी हैं, कभी न समाप्त होने वाले। आप ही शुभकारी अंशुमान (किरणों वाले) हैं, जो संसार में शुभता और प्रकाश फैलाते हैं। O Lord Surya, all seasons are like your servants, changing at your command. You are eternal and imperishable, never-ending. You are the auspicious 'Anshuman' (one with rays), spreading well-being and light throughout the world.
