O Divine Essence, in the heart of the cosmic ocean, you are the sacred syllable, the seed of bliss, bestowing auspiciousness and joy.

At the roots of the Kadamba tree, you dwell, O auspicious one, bestowing blessings upon all.
धरधरसुते देवि मङगलं कुरु शङकरि
dharadharasute devi maṅgalaṃ kuru śaṅkari
O Daughter of the Earth, grant us auspiciousness, O Shankari.
धयातवा तवां देवि दशकं ये पठनति भृ^िगोरदिने
dhyātvā tvāṃ devi daśakaṃ ye paṭhanti bhṛ^igordine
Those who meditate upon you, O Devi, on the day of Bhargava, shall find divine blessings.
तेŚां छ धनमायुŚयमारोगयं पुत्रसमपदः
teŚāṃ cha dhanamāyuŚyamārogyaṃ putrasampadaḥ
For them, wealth, long life, health, and progeny shall flourish.
