ों सया वैŚणवयाः पराया जिताया महाविदयायाः वामदेव-बृ^िहसपति-मारकणडेया ृ^िŚयः
oṃ asyā vaiŚṇavyāḥ parāyā ajitāyā mahāvidyāyāḥ vāmadeva-bṛ^ihaspati-mārkaṇḍeyā ṛ^iŚayaḥ
Om, to the supreme goddess, the embodiment of knowledge, who is the essence of the Vedic wisdom and the divine energy of Lord Vāmadeva and Brihaspati.
गायत्रयुŚणिगनुŚटुबबृ^िहती Cहनदांसि
gāyatryuŚṇiganuŚṭubbṛ^ihatī Chandāṃsi
The goddess who is the essence of the Gayatri mantra and the embodiment of all auspiciousness.
लकŚमीनृ^िसिंहो देवता
lakŚmīnṛ^isiṃho devatā
The deity Lakshmi, who is like a lion among men.
ों कलीं शरीं हरीं बीजम
oṃ klīṃ śrīṃ hrīṃ bījam
Om, the seed syllables of Kali, Shree, and Hari.
सकलकामनासिदधयरथं पराजितविदयामनत्रपाठे विनियोगः
sakalakāmanāsiddhyarthaṃ aparājitavidyāmantrapāṭhe viniyogaḥ
This is a hymn dedicated to the goddess who fulfills all desires and is the essence of supreme knowledge.
ों नीलोतपलदलशयामां भुजङगाभरणानविताम
oṃ nīlotpaladalaśyāmāṃ bhujaṅgābharaṇānvitām
Om, to the one who is dark blue like the blue lotus and adorned with serpents.
शुदधसफटिकसङकाशां छनदरकोटिनिभाननाम
śuddhasphaṭikasaṅkāśāṃ chandrakoṭinibhānanām
She is as pure as crystal and shines like millions of suns.
शङखछकरधरां देवी वैŚणवीमपराजिताम बालेनदुशेखरां देवीं वरदाभयदायिनीम
śaṅkhachakradharāṃ devī vaiŚṇvīmaparājitām bālenduśekharāṃ devīṃ varadābhayadāyinīm
The goddess who holds a conch and discus, the unconquered Vishnu, who is the daughter of the mountain and grants boons and protection.
नमसकृ^ितय पपाठैनां मारकणडेयो महातपाः
namaskṛ^itya papāṭhaināṃ mārkaṇḍeyo mahātapāḥ
Salutations to the great ascetic Markandeya, who is the source of all auspiciousness.
मारकणडेय ुवाछ - शृ^िणुŚवं मुनयः सरवे सरवकामारथसिदधिदाम
mārkaṇḍeya uvācha - śṛ^iṇuŚvaṃ munayaḥ sarve sarvakāmārthasiddhidām
Markandeya speaks - listen, O sages, to all who seek the fulfillment of their desires.
सिदधसाधनीं देवीं वैŚणवीमपराजिताम

विŚणोरियमनुपरोकता सरवकामफलपरदा
viŚṇoriyamanuproktā sarvakāmaphalapradā
The essence of Vishnu is the ultimate reality that grants all desires.
सरवसौभागयजननी सरवभीतिविनाशिनी
sarvasaubhāgyajananī sarvabhītivināśinī
The mother of all auspiciousness, the destroyer of all fears.
सरवैंशछ पठितां सिदधैरविŚणोः परमवललभा
sarvaiṃścha paṭhitāṃ siddhairviŚṇoḥ paramavallabhā
All who recite this hymn will attain the supreme grace of Vishnu.
नानया सदृ^िशं किञछिददुŚटानां नाशनं परम
nānayā sadṛ^iśaṃ kiñchidduŚṭānāṃ nāśanaṃ param
There is nothing comparable to the supreme destruction of all evils.
विदया रहसया कथिता वैŚणवयेŚापराजिता
vidyā rahasyā kathitā vaiŚṇavyeŚāparājitā
The knowledge that is spoken of in secret is indeed the supreme Vishnu, the one who is beyond all obstacles.
पठनीया परशसता वा साकŚातसततवगुणाशरया
paṭhanīyā praśastā vā sākŚātsattvaguṇāśrayā
One should recite this with great devotion, or directly with the qualities of the supreme being.
ों शुकलामबरधरं विŚणुं शशिवरणं छतुरभुजम
oṃ śuklāmbaradharaṃ viŚṇuṃ śaśivarṇaṃ chaturbhujam
Om, I bow to Vishnu, who wears a white garment, has a moon-like face, and four arms.
या शकतिरमामकी वतस रजोगुणमयी मता
yā śaktirmāmakī vatsa rajoguṇamayī matā
She who is endowed with the power of creation is considered to be of the nature of the mode of passion.
सरवसततवमयी साकŚातसरवमनत्रमयी छ या
sarvasattvamayī sākŚātsarvamantramayī cha yā
She who is the embodiment of all goodness, who is directly the essence of all mantras.
या समृ^िता पूजिता जपता नयसता करमणि योजिता
yā smṛ^itā pūjitā japtā nyastā karmaṇi yojitā
O goddess, listen to me as I speak of you, the one who fulfills all desires.
सरवकामदुघा वतस शृ^िणुŚवैतां बरवीमि ते
sarvakāmadughā vatsa śṛ^iṇuŚvaitāṃ bravīmi te
Whoever recites this invincible hymn dedicated to the supreme goddess, who is beyond all opposition, will not fear fire, the ocean, thieves, enemies, or curses.
य िमामपराजितां परमवैŚणवीमपरतिहतां पठति सिदधां समरति सिदधां महाविदयां जपति पठति शृ^िणोति समरति धारयति कीरतयति वा न तसयागनिवायुवजरोपलाशनिवरŚभयं, न समुदरभयं, न गरहभयं, न छौरभयं, न शत्रुभयं, न शापभयं वा भवेत
ya imāmaparājitāṃ paramavaiŚṇavīmapratihatāṃ paṭhati siddhāṃ smarati siddhāṃ mahāvidyāṃ japati paṭhati śṛ^iṇoti smarati dhārayati kīrtayati vā na tasyāgnivāyuvajropalāśanivarŚabhayaṃ, na samudrabhayaṃ, na grahabhayaṃ, na chaurabhayaṃ, na śatrubhayaṃ, na śāpabhayaṃ vā bhavet
No fear will arise from the night, from the king's court, or from the fear of the serpent.
कवछिदरात्रयनधकारसत्रीराजकुलविदवेŚि-विŚगरगरदवशीकरण- विदवेŚोछछाटनवधबनधनभयं वा न भवेत
kvachidrātryandhakārastrīrājakulavidveŚi-viŚagaragaradavaśīkaraṇa- vidveŚochchāṭanavadhabandhanabhayaṃ vā na bhavet
With these invocations, endowed with success, and worshipped by the accomplished ones.
ेतैरमनत्रैरुदाहृ^ितैः सिदधैः संसिदधपूजितैः
etairmantrairudāhṛ^itaiḥ siddhaiḥ saṃsiddhapūjitaiḥ
Om, I bow to you.
ों नमो.सतुते
oṃ namo.astute
In fear, in victory, in restraint, in death, in the beyond, in defeat, reciting, achieving success, remembering, holding, or singing, whether in the forest, in the beautiful tree, or in the sacred place.
भये, नघे, जिते, मिते, मृ^िते, परे, पराजिते, पठति, सिदधे जयति सिदधे, समरति सिदधे, ेकोनाशीतितमे, ेकाकिनि, निशछेतसि, सुदरुमे, सुगनधे, ेकाननशे, ुमे धरुवे, रुनधति, गायत्रि, सावित्रि, जातवेदसि, मानसतोके, सरसवति, धरणि, धारणि, सौदामनि, दिति, दिति, विनते, गौरि, गानधारि, मातङगी कृ^िŚणे, यशोदे, सतयवादिनि, बरहमवादिनि, कालि, कपालिनि, करालनेत्रे, भदरे, निदरे, सतयोपयाछनकरि, सथलगतं जलगतं नतरिकŚगतं वा मां रकŚ सरवोपदरवेभयः सवाहा
abhaye, anaghe, ajite, amite, amṛ^ite, apare, aparājite, paṭhati, siddhe jayati siddhe, smarati siddhe, ekonāśītitame, ekākini, niśchetasi, sudrume, sugandhe, ekānnaśe, ume dhruve, arundhati, gāyatri, sāvitri, jātavedasi, mānastoke, sarasvati, dharaṇi, dhāraṇi, saudāmani, aditi, diti, vinate, gauri, gāndhāri, mātaṅgī kṛ^iŚṇe, yaśode, satyavādini, brahmavādini, kāli, kapālini, karālanetre, bhadre, nidre, satyopayāchanakari, sthalagataṃ jalagataṃ antarikŚagataṃ vā māṃ rakŚa sarvopadravebhyaḥ svāhā
If a flower falls or a fruit drops, it is due to the power of the one who is the source of all.
यसयाः परणशयते पुŚपं गरभो वा पतते यदि
yasyāḥ praṇaśyate puŚpaṃ garbho vā patate yadi
The child who is born from her will be protected by the one who is the goddess.
मरियते बालको यसयाः काकवनधया छ या भवेत
mriyate bālako yasyāḥ kākavandhyā cha yā bhavet
She who holds this knowledge will not be tainted by these impurities.
धारयेदया िमां विदयामेतैरदोŚैरन लिपयते
dhārayedyā imāṃ vidyāmetairdoŚairna lipyate
The pregnant woman, like a living being, will give birth to a son without doubt.
गरभिणी जीववतसा सयातपुत्रिणी सयानन संशयः
garbhiṇī jīvavatsā syātputriṇī syānna saṃśayaḥ
On the leaf of the sacred tree, this knowledge is written with fragrant substances.
भूरजपत्रे तविमां विदयां लिखितवा गनधछनदनैः
bhūrjapatre tvimāṃ vidyāṃ likhitvā gandhachandanaiḥ
With these impurities, may the fortunate one give birth to a son.
ेतैरदोŚैरन लिपयेत सुभगा पुत्रिणी भवेत
etairdoŚairna lipyeta subhagā putriṇī bhavet
May the auspicious daughter be born from these offerings.
रणे राजकुले दयूते नितयं तसय जयो भवेत
raṇe rājakule dyūte nityaṃ tasya jayo bhavet
Victory will always be yours in battles and royal contests.
शसत्रं वारयते हयेŚा समरे काणडदारुणे
śastraṃ vārayate hyeŚā samare kāṇḍadāruṇe
In fierce battles, the horse protects from weapons.
गुलमशूलाकŚिरोगाणां कŚिपरं नाशयति छ वयथाम
gulmaśūlākŚirogāṇāṃ kŚipraṃ nāśyati cha vyathām
The spear and the trident destroy the pain of ailments.
शिरोरोगजवराणां न नाशिनी सरवदेहिनाम
śirorogajvarāṇāṃ na nāśinī sarvadehinām
The fever caused by head ailments is never destructive for those who are embodied.
ितयेŚा कथिता विदया भयाखया.पराजिता
ityeŚā kathitā vidyā abhayākhyā.aparājitā
The knowledge that is spoken of is indeed fearsome and has been defeated.
ेतसयाः समृ^ितिमात्रेण भयं कवापि न जायते
etasyāḥ smṛ^itimātreṇa bhayaṃ kvāpi na jāyate
By merely remembering this, no fear arises at any time.
नोपसरगा न रोगाशछ न योधा नापि तसकराः
nopasargā na rogāścha na yodhā nāpi taskarāḥ
There are no obstacles, no diseases, no warriors, nor thieves.
न राजानो न सरपाशछ न दवेŚटारो न शत्रवः
na rājāno na sarpāścha na dveŚṭāro na śatravaḥ
Neither kings, nor serpents, nor demons, nor enemies exist.
यकŚराकŚसवेताला न शाकिनयो न छ गरहाः
yakŚarākŚasavetālā na śākinyo na cha grahāḥ
Fear does not arise from the army, nor from the winds, nor from the vast ocean.
गनेरभयं न वाताछछ न समुदरानन वै विŚात
agnerbhayaṃ na vātāchcha na smudrānna vai viŚāt
Whether it is a weapon or an enemy's action, it is only the power of control.
कारमणं वा शत्रुकृ^ितं वशीकरणमेव छ
kārmaṇaṃ vā śatrukṛ^itaṃ vaśīkaraṇameva cha
Whether it is a curse or a blessing, it is indeed the knowledge of the wise.
ुछछाटनं सतमभनं छ विदवेŚणमथापि वा
uchchāṭanaṃ stambhanaṃ cha vidveŚaṇamathāpi vā
Nothing can overpower where this fearlessness resides.
न किञछितपरभवेततत्र यत्रैŚा वरतते.भया
na kiñchitprabhavettatra yatraiŚā vartate.abhayā
Whether one reads or recites from a book or speaks from the mouth.
पठेद वा यदि वा छित्रे पुसतके वा मुखे.थवा
paṭhed vā yadi vā chitre pustake vā mukhe.athavā
In the heart or at the door, the fearless man remains steadfast.
हृ^िदि वा दवारदेशे वा वरतते हयभयः पुमान
hṛ^idi vā dvāradeśe vā vartate hyabhayaḥ pumān
In the heart, one should meditate on the four-armed goddess.
रकतमालयामबरधरां पदमरागसमपरभाम
raktamālyāmbaradharāṃ padmarāgasamaprabhām
She is decorated with the fearsome nooses and goads, and is beautifully adorned.
पाशाङकुशाभयवरैरलङकृ^ितसुविगरहाम
pāśāṅkuśābhayavarairalaṅkṛ^itasuvigrahām
The fear of the practitioners is dispelled by the nectar of the mantra.
साधकेभयः परयछCहनतीं मनत्रवरणामृ^ितानयपि
sādhakebhyaḥ prayachChantīṃ mantravarṇāmṛ^itānyapi
There is nothing greater than the supreme power of control.
नातः परतरं किञछिदवशीकरणमनुततमम
nātaḥ parataraṃ kiñchidvaśīkaraṇamanuttamam
There is nothing greater than the supreme control over oneself.
रकŚणं पावनं छापि नात्र कारया विछारणा
rakŚaṇaṃ pāvanaṃ chāpi nātra kāryā vichāraṇā
Protection is pure; do not let it be disturbed by any actions.
परातः कुमारिकाः पूजयाः खादयैराभरणैरपि
prātaḥ kumārikāḥ pūjyāḥ khādyairābharaṇairapi
The maidens of the east worship with food and adornments.
तदिदं वाछनीयं सयातततपरीतया परीयते तु माम
tadidaṃ vāchanīyaṃ syāttatprītyā prīyate tu mām
This is indeed desired; I am being approached with great devotion.
ों थातः समपरवकŚयामि विदयामपि महाबलाम
oṃ athātaḥ sampravakŚyāmi vidyāmapi mahābalām
I will speak of the supreme power, even if it is of great strength.
सरवदुŚटपरशमनीं सरवशत्रुकŚयङकरीम
sarvaduŚṭapraśamanīṃ sarvaśatrukŚayaṅkarīm
She who calms all wickedness and destroys all enemies.
दारिदरयदुःखशमनीं दौरभागयवयाधिनाशिनीम
dāridryaduḥkhaśamanīṃ daurbhāgyavyādhināśinīm
She who alleviates the sorrows of the impoverished and destroys the miseries of fate.
भूतपरेतपिशाछानां यकŚगनधरवरकŚसाम
bhūtapretapiśāchānāṃ yakŚagandharvarakŚasām
She who protects from ghosts, spirits, and the forces of evil.
डाकिनी शाकिनी-सकनद-कूŚमाणडानां छ नाशिनीम
ḍākinī śākinī-skanda-kūŚmāṇḍānāṃ cha nāśinīm
The great fierce one, the supreme power, who acts with compassion.
महारौदरिं महाशकतिं सदयः परतययकारिणीम
mahāraudriṃ mahāśaktiṃ sadyaḥ pratyayakāriṇīm
The secret of the universe is known through devotion to Parvati's consort.
गोपनीयं परयतनेन सरवसवं पारवतीपतेः
gopanīyaṃ prayatnena sarvasvaṃ pārvatīpateḥ
I will speak to you with caution; listen attentively.
ेकानहिकं दवयनहिकं छ छातुरथिकारदधमासिकम
ekānhikaṃ dvyanhikaṃ cha chāturthikārddhamāsikam
The one who suffers from bi-monthly, tri-monthly, and quarterly afflictions.
दवैमासिकं त्रैमासिकं तथा छातुरमासिकम
dvaimāsikaṃ traimāsikaṃ tathā chāturmāsikam
The one who suffers from pent-monthly, seasonal, and hereditary fevers.
पाञछमासिकं Śाङमासिकं वातिक पैततिकजवरम
pāñchamāsikaṃ Śāṅmāsikaṃ vātika paittikajvaram
The one who suffers from acute fevers and constant ailments.
शलैŚपिकं सात्रिपातिकं तथैव सततजवरम
ślaiŚpikaṃ sātripātikaṃ tathaiva satatajvaram
The one who suffers from periodic fevers, hereditary fevers, and daily fevers.
मौहूरतिकं पैततिकं शीतजवरं विŚमजवरम
mauhūrtikaṃ paittikaṃ śītajvaraṃ viŚamajvaram
The one who is afflicted by duality, triad afflictions, and daily ailments.
दवयहिनकं त्रयहनिकं छैव जवरमेकाहनिकं तथा
dvyahinkaṃ tryahnikaṃ chaiva jvaramekāhnikaṃ tathā
She who destroys all ailments through constant remembrance.
कŚिपरं नाशयेते नितयं समरणादपराजिता
kŚipraṃ nāśayete nityaṃ smaraṇādaparājitā

ये मां दविŚनति परतयकŚं परोकŚं वा तान सरवान दम दम मरदय मरदय तापय तापय गोपय गोपय पातय पातय शोŚय शोŚय ुतसादय ुतसादय बरहमाणि वैŚणवि माहेशवरि कौमारि वाराहि नारसिंहि ैनदरि छामुणडे महालकŚमि वैनायिकि ौपेनदरि ागनेयि छणडि नैरृ^िति वायवये सौमये ैशानि ूरधवमधोरकŚ परछणडविदये िनदरोपेनदरभगिनि
ye māṃ dviŚanti pratyakŚaṃ parokŚaṃ vā tān sarvān dama dama mardaya mardaya tāpaya tāpaya gopaya gopaya pātaya pātaya śoŚaya śoŚaya utsādaya utsādaya brahmāṇi vaiŚṇavi māheśvari kaumāri vārāhi nārasiṃhi aindri chāmuṇḍe mahālakŚmi vaināyiki aupendri āgneyi chaṇḍi nairṛ^iti vāyavye saumye aiśāni ūrdhvamadhorakŚa prachaṇḍavidye indropendrabhagini
Those who invoke me, whether in the form of the divine or in the worldly realm, may they be freed from all obstacles and protected, nourished, and granted strength. O Goddess, I bow to you, the embodiment of the divine.
ों नमो देवि जये विजये शानति सवसति-तुŚटि पुŚटि- विवरदधिनि
oṃ namo devi jaye vijaye śānti svasti-tuŚṭi puŚṭi- vivarddhini
Om, I bow to the goddess who is victorious and brings peace, who grants prosperity and abundance.
कामाङकुशे कामदुघे सरवकामवरपरदे
kāmāṅkuśe kāmadughe sarvakāmavaraprade
O deity wielding the love-lasso, who fulfills all desires, grant me the boon of all wishes.
सरवभूतेŚु मां परियं कुरु कुरु सवाहा
sarvabhūteŚu māṃ priyaṃ kuru kuru svāhā
To all beings, I offer my love and devotion, may it be accepted.
ाकरŚणि ावेशनि-, जवालामालिनि-, रमणि रामणि, धरणि धारिणि, तपनि तापिनि, मदनि मादिनि, शोŚणि सममोहिनि
ākarŚaṇi āveśani-, jvālāmālini-, ramaṇi rāmaṇi, dharaṇi dhāriṇi, tapani tāpini, madani mādini, śoŚaṇi sammohini
O Goddess, who is the essence of all forms, the one who brings forth the flame, the beloved, the sustainer, the one who brings warmth, the enchanting one, the one who captivates the mind.
नीलपताके महानीले महागौरि महाशरिये
nīlapatāke mahānīle mahāgauri mahāśriye
In the blue flag, the great blue, the great white, the great protector.
महाछानदरि महासौरि महामायूरि ादितयरशमि जाहनवि
mahāchāndri mahāsauri mahāmāyūri ādityaraśmi jāhnavi
O great goddess, the one who is the essence of the sun, the great peacock, the one who brings forth the rays of the dawn.
यमघणटे किणि किणि छिनतामणि
yamaghaṇṭe kiṇi kiṇi chintāmaṇi
In the sound of the bell, may the precious gem be cut.
सुगनधे सुरभे सुरासुरोतपनने सरवकामदुघे
sugandhe surabhe surāsurotpanne sarvakāmadughe
In the fragrant garden, in the divine nectar, may all desires be fulfilled.
यदयथा मनीŚितं कारयं तनमम सिदधयतु सवाहा
yadyathā manīŚitaṃ kāryaṃ tanmama siddhyatu svāhā
As I will, may this body be accomplished, so be it.
ों भूः सवाहा
oṃ bhūḥ svāhā
Om, Earth, so be it.
ों भुवः सवाहा
oṃ bhuvaḥ svāhā
Om, Atmosphere, so be it.
ों सवः सवहा
oṃ svaḥ svahā
Om, Heaven, so be it.
ों महः सवहा
oṃ mahaḥ svahā
Om, Greatness, so be it.
ों जनः सवहा
oṃ janaḥ svahā
Om, Humanity, so be it.
ों तपः सवाहा
oṃ tapaḥ svāhā
Om, Austerity, so be it.
ों सतयं सवाहा
oṃ satyaṃ svāhā
Om, Truth, so be it.
ों भूरभुवः सवः सवाहा
oṃ bhūrbhuvaḥ svaḥ svāhā
Om, Earth, Atmosphere, Heaven, so be it.
यत ेवागतं पापं तत्रैव परतिगछCहतु सवाहेतयोम
yata evāgataṃ pāpaṃ tatraiva pratigachChatu svāhetyom
May the sins that have come here return to their source, so be it.
मोघैŚा महाविदया वैŚणवी छापराजिता
amoghaiŚā mahāvidyā vaiŚṇavī chāparājitā
The supreme knowledge is indeed the divine essence, the one who is victorious in the battle.
सवयं विŚणुपरणीता छ सिदधेयं पाठतः सदा
svayaṃ viŚṇupraṇītā cha siddheyaṃ pāṭhataḥ sadā
The one who is always recited, the essence of Vishnu, is indeed the source of all accomplishments.
ेŚा महाबला नाम कथिता ते.पराजिता
eŚā mahābalā nāma kathitā te.aparājitā
O Mahabala, the one who is spoken of, you are indeed invincible.
नानया सदृ^िशी रकŚा त्रिŚु लोकेŚु विदयते
nānayā sadṛ^iśī rakŚā triŚu lokeŚu vidyate
There is no protection like you in the three worlds.
तमोगुणमयी साकŚदरौदरी शकतिरियं मता
tamoguṇamayī sākŚadraudrī śaktiriyaṃ matā
This Shakti, embodying the quality of tamas, is known as the fierce one.
कृ^ितानतो.पि यतो भीतः पादमूले वयवसथितः
kṛ^itānto.api yato bhītaḥ pādamūle vyavasthitaḥ
Even when bowed down, one who is fearful remains steadfast at your feet.
मूलाधारे नयसेदेतां रात्रावेनं छ संसमरेत
mūlādhāre nyasedetāṃ rātrāvenaṃ cha saṃsmaret
In the Muladhara, one should meditate upon her, especially during the night.
नीलजीमूतसङकाशां तडितकपिलकेशिकाम
nīlajīmūtasaṅkāśāṃ taḍitkapilakeśikām
She is like a blue cloud, with hair resembling lightning, and her three eyes shine brightly.
ुदयदादितयसङकाशां नेत्रत्रयविराजिताम
udyadādityasaṅkāśāṃ netratrayavirājitām
Holding a trident, a conch, and a vessel, she is adorned with a necklace of golden bells.
शकतिं त्रिशूलं शङखं छ पानपात्रं छ विभरतीम
śaktiṃ triśūlaṃ śaṅkhaṃ cha pānapātraṃ cha vibhratīm
She is clad in a tiger skin, surrounded by a network of jingling ornaments.
वयाघरछरमपरीधानां किङकिणीजालमणडिताम
vyāghracharmaparīdhānāṃ kiṅkiṇījālamaṇḍitām
She moves swiftly, her feet touching the sky, and her sandals are made of the wind.
धावनतीं गगनसयानतः पादुकाहितपादकाम
dhāvantīṃ gaganasyāntaḥ pādukāhitapādakām
Her face is fierce like a lion, adorned with serpent-shaped earrings.
दंŚटराकरालवदनां वयालकुणडलभूŚिताम
daṃŚṭrākarālavadanāṃ vyālakuṇḍalabhūŚitām
Her long, extended tongue resembles a blossoming flower, and her brows are beautifully curved.
वयाततवकत्रां ललजजिहवां भृ^िकुटीकुटिलालकाम
vyāttavaktrāṃ lalajjihvāṃ bhṛ^ikuṭīkuṭilālakām
She drinks the blood of all devotees, from her vessel of offerings.
सवभकतदवेŚिणां रकतं पिबनतीं पानपात्रतः
svabhaktadveŚiṇāṃ raktaṃ pibantīṃ pānapātrataḥ
She lies on a bed of iron, gazing with a cruel glance.
सपतधातून शोŚयनतीं करूरदृ^िŚटया विलोकनात
saptadhātūn śoŚayantīṃ krūradṛ^iŚṭyā vilokanāt
With her trident, she repeatedly pierces the tongue of her enemies.
त्रिशूलेन छ तजजिहवां कीलयनतीं मुहुरमुहुः
triśūlena cha tajjihvāṃ kīlayantīṃ muhurmuhuḥ
Bound by her noose, she leads the ordinary beings to their destiny.
पाशेन बदधवा तं साधमानवनतीं तदनतिके
pāśena baddhvā taṃ sādhamānavantīṃ tadantike
In the night of the new moon, one should worship the powerful goddess.
रदधरात्रसय समये देवीं धायेनमहाबलाम
arddharātrasya samaye devīṃ dhāyenmahābalām
By chanting her name and mantra, one can attain the highest state.
यसय यसय वदेननाम जपेनमनत्रं निशानतके
yasya yasya vadennāma japenmantraṃ niśāntake
Thus, she grants the desired state to those who practice yoga.
तसय तसय तथावसथां कुरुते सापि योगिनी
tasya tasya tathāvasthāṃ kurute sāpi yoginī
Thus, the yogini performs her actions in accordance with that state.
ों बले महाबले सिदधसाधनी सवाहेति
oṃ bale mahābale asiddhasādhanī svāheti
Om, O great strength, O supreme power, I offer my salutations to you.
मोघां पठति सिदधां शरीवैŚणवीम
amoghāṃ paṭhati siddhāṃ śrīvaiŚṇavīm
One who recites this stotra will attain success and be blessed by the divine.
शरीमदपराजिताविदयां धयायेत
śrīmadaparājitāvidyāṃ dhyāyet
One should meditate upon the glorious and unconquerable Lord.
दुःसवपने दुरारिŚटे छ दुरनिमितते तथैव छ
duḥsvapne durāriŚṭe cha durnimitte tathaiva cha
In difficult dreams and adverse situations, may one find relief and peace.
वयवहारे भेवेतसिदधिः पठेदविघनोपशानतये
vyavahāre bhevetsiddhiḥ paṭhedvighnopaśāntaye
In worldly affairs, may success be achieved through the recitation of this stotra.
यदत्र पाठे जगदमबिके मया विसरगबिनदव.कŚरहीनमीडितम
yadatra pāṭhe jagadambike mayā visargabindva.akŚarahīnamīḍitam
In this recitation, may the world be freed from all obstacles and negativity.
तदसतु समपूरणतमं परयानतु मे सङकलपसिदधिसतु सदैव जायताम
tadastu sampūrṇatamaṃ prayāntu me saṅkalpasiddhistu sadaiva jāyatām
I do not know your true nature, O great goddess.
तव तततवं न जानामि कीदृ^िशासि महेशवरि
tava tattvaṃ na jānāmi kīdṛ^iśāsi maheśvari
Salutations to you, O great goddess, who embodies such divine qualities.
यादृ^िशासि महादेवी तादृ^िशायै नमो नमः
yādṛ^iśāsi mahādevī tādṛ^iśāyai namo namaḥ
By properly reciting this stotra, all kinds of diseases and enemies are destroyed.
िस सतोत्र का विधिवत पाठ करने से सब परकार के रोग तथा सब परकार के शत्रु ौर सब बनधया दोŚ नŚट होता है
isa stotra kā vidhivata pāṭha karane se saba prakāra ke roga tathā saba prakāra ke śatru aura saba bandhyā doŚa naŚṭa hotā hai
This recitation is a panacea for success in legal matters and in overcoming obstacles in government affairs.
विशेŚ रूप से मुकदमें में सफलता ौर राजकीय कारयों में पराजित रहने के लिये यह पाठ रामबाण है
viśeŚa rūpa se mukadameṃ meṃ saphalatā aura rājakīya kāryoṃ meṃ aparājita rahane ke liye yaha pāṭha rāmabāṇa hai
