छामपेयगौरारधशरीरकायै करपूरगौरारधशरीरकाय
chāmpeyagaurārdhaśarīrakāyai karpūragaurārdhaśarīrakāya
To the one whose body is radiant like the purest camphor, I bow to the divine form of Ardhanarishvara.
धममिललकायै छ जटाधराय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
dhammillakāyai cha jaṭādharāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
Salutations to the Lord of the universe, adorned with matted locks, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
कसतूरिकाकुङकुमछरछितायै छितारजःपुञजविछरछिताय
kastūrikākuṅkumacharchitāyai chitārajaḥpuñjavicharchitāya
To the one whose body is adorned with the hues of musk and saffron, I offer my reverence to the divine essence.
कृ^ितसमरायै विकृ^ितसमराय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
kṛ^itasmarāyai vikṛ^itasmarāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the one who embodies the essence of creation and transformation, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
झणतकवणतकङकणनूपुरायै पादाबजराजतफणिनूपुराय
jhaṇatkvaṇatkaṅkaṇanūpurāyai pādābjarājatphaṇinūpurāya
To the one whose feet are adorned with jingling anklets, I bow to the Lord whose presence is like a treasure of grace.
हेमाङगदायै भुजगाङगदाय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
hemāṅgadāyai bhujagāṅgadāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the one whose arms are like golden ornaments, I bow to the Lord who is the essence of the serpent.
विशालनीलोतपललोछनायै विकासिपङकेरुहलोछनाय
viśālanīlotpalalochanāyai vikāsipaṅkeruhalochanāya
To the one with eyes like expansive blue lotuses, I bow to the one whose gaze brings forth blooming lotuses.
समेकŚणायै विŚमेकŚणाय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
samekŚaṇāyai viŚamekŚaṇāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the one who sees all as one and the one who sees duality, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
मनदारमालाकलितालकायै कपालमालाङकितकनधराय
mandāramālākalitālakāyai kapālamālāṅkitakandharāya
To the one adorned with a garland of Mandara flowers, I bow to the one who wears a crown of skulls.
दिवयामबरायै छ दिगमबराय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
divyāmbarāyai cha digambarāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the one who is clad in divine attire, I bow to the one who is the sky itself, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
मभोधरशयामलकुनतलायै तडितपरभातामरजटाधराय
ambhodharaśyāmalakuntalāyai taḍitprabhātāmrajaṭādharāya
To the one who is as dark as a rain cloud, I bow to the one whose matted hair shines like lightning.
निरीशवरायै निखिलेशवराय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
nirīśvarāyai nikhileśvarāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the one who is the Lord of all beings, I bow to the supreme Lord, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
परपञछसृ^िŚटयुनमुखलासयकायै समसतसणहारकताणडवाय
prapañchasṛ^iŚṭyunmukhalāsyakāyai samastasaṇhārakatāṇḍavāya
To the one who creates the universe with a mere glance, I bow to the one who dances in the cosmic rhythm.
जगजजननयै जगदेकपित्रे नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
jagajjananyai jagadekapitre namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the mother of the world and the father of all, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
परदीपतरतनोजजवलकुणडलायै सफुरनमहापननगभूŚणाय
pradīptaratnojjvalakuṇḍalāyai sphuranmahāpannagabhūŚaṇāya
To the one whose earrings shine like radiant jewels, I bow to the one who is the essence of all creation.
शिवानवितायै छ शिवानविताय नमः शिवायै छ नमः शिवाय
śivānvitāyai cha śivānvitāya namaḥ śivāyai cha namaḥ śivāya
To the one who is adorned with auspiciousness, I bow to Shiva, I bow to Shiva.
ेततपठेदŚटकमिŚटदं यो भकतया स मानयो भुवि दीरघजीवी
etatpaṭhedaŚṭakamiŚṭadaṃ yo bhaktyā sa mānyo bhuvi dīrghajīvī
Whoever recites this sacred hymn with devotion shall be blessed with a long life.
परापनोति सौभागयमननतकालं भूयातसदा तसय समसतसिदधिः
prāpnoti saubhāgyamanantakālaṃ bhūyātsadā tasya samastasiddhiḥ
May they attain all auspiciousness and prosperity, and may their wishes be fulfilled always.
