O goddess, adorned with various jewels, you shine beautifully.
नानादरुमलताकीरणे नानापकŚिनिकूजिते
nānādrumalatākīrṇe nānāpakŚinikūjite
With the rays of diverse trees and creepers, you are surrounded by enchanting sounds.
नानानिरझरभाङकारैरनानामृ^िगसमाकुले
nānānirjharabhāṅkārairnānāmṛ^igasamākule
Amidst the multitude of waterfalls, you are filled with various animals.
नानाकुसुमजातीभिः समनतादधिवासिते
nānākusumajātībhiḥ samantādadhivāsite
You are adorned with countless flowers, bowing in reverence.
नानाहृ^िदयफलोपेतŚटपदोदगीतनिःसवनैः
nānāhṛ^idyaphalopetaŚaṭpadodgītaniḥsvanaiḥ
With the sweet songs of celestial beings, you are surrounded by delightful trees.
किननरैरमधुरोदगीतैरमततरवारणसङकुलैः
kinnarairmadhurodgītairmattaravāraṇasaṅkulaiḥ
You are praised by the groups of accomplished sages and celestial beings.
सिदधविदयाधरगणैरगनधरवैशछ निनादिते
siddhavidyādharagaṇairgandharvaiścha ninādite
You are constantly served by the detached sages.
मुनिभिरवीतरागैशछ सततं सुनिŚेविते
munibhirvītarāgaiścha satataṃ suniŚevite
You are worshipped by the Bodhisattvas and the rulers of the ten realms.
बोधिसततवगणैशछानयैरदशभूमीशवरैरपि
bodhisattvagaṇaiśchānyairdaśabhūmīśvarairapi
You are revered by the deities like the star of the sea and the kings of knowledge.
ारयतारादिभिरदेवैरविदयाराज्ञीसहसरकैः
āryatārādibhirdevairvidyārājñīsahasrakaiḥ
Surrounded by the groups of the king of anger and the horse-headed beings.
करोधराजगणैशछानयैरहयगरीवादिभिरवृ^िते
krodharājagaṇaiśchānyairhayagrīvādibhirvṛ^ite
The Lord, who is always engaged in the welfare of all beings, is observing.
सरवसततवहिते युकतो भगवानवलोकितः
sarvasattvahite yukto bhagavānavalokitaḥ
Then, the glorious one took his seat on the lotus throne.
वयाजहार ततः शरीमान पदमगरभासने सथितः
vyājahāra tataḥ śrīmān padmagarbhāsane sthitaḥ
Endowed with great austerity and compassion, he is filled with kindness.
महता तपसा युकतो मैत्रया छ कृ^िपयानवितः
mahatā tapasā yukto maitryā cha kṛ^ipayānvitaḥ
He instructed righteousness in that great assembly of divine beings.
धरमं दिदेश तसयां छ महतयां देवपरŚदि
dharmaṃ dideśa tasyāṃ cha mahatyāṃ devaparŚadi
There, the mighty one with a thunderbolt in hand established the scriptures.
तत्रापविदधमागमय वजरपाणिरमहाबलः
tatrāpaviddhamāgamya vajrapāṇirmahābalaḥ
With supreme compassion, he looked upon the world.
परया कृ^िपया युकतः पपरछCह छावलोकितम
parayā kṛ^ipayā yuktaḥ paprachCha chāvalokitam
Amidst the chaos of thieves, serpents, lions, elephants, and tigers.
तसकरोरगसिंहोगरगजवयाघरादिसङकुले
taskaroragasiṃhogragajavyāghrādisaṅkule
The sage, seated in humility, is always absorbed in the ocean of worldly existence.
सीदनतयमी मुने सततवा मगनाः संसारसागरे
sīdantyamī mune sattvā magnāḥ saṃsārasāgare
The sage, who is always absorbed in meditation, sits quietly in the ocean of worldly existence.
बदधाः सांसारिकैः पाशै रागदवेŚतमोमयैः
baddhāḥ sāṃsārikaiḥ pāśai rāgadveŚatamomayaiḥ
Bound by the worldly bonds of attachment and darkness,
मुछयनते येन सततवासते तनमे बरूहि महामुने
muchyante yena sattvāste tanme brūhi mahāmune
O great sage, please tell me who liberates those who dwell in constant remembrance.
ेवमुकतो जगननाथः स शरीमानवलोकितः
evamukto jagannāthaḥ sa śrīmānavalokitaḥ
Thus liberated, the Lord of the Universe is indeed seen.
ुवाछ मधुरां वाणीं वजरपाणिं परबोधिनीम
uvācha madhurāṃ vāṇīṃ vajrapāṇiṃ prabodhinīm
Speak sweet words, O wielder of the thunderbolt, that enlighten the mind.
शृ^िणु गुहयकराजेनदर मिताभसय तायणीः(णीम)
śṛ^iṇu guhyakarājendra amitābhasya tāyaṇīḥ(ṇīm)
Listen, O King of Secrets, to the words of the one who is the essence of all.
परणिधानवशोतपननां ममाज्ञां लोकमातरम
praṇidhānavaśotpannāṃ mamājñāṃ lokamātaram
By the power of surrender, I seek the grace of the Mother of the world.
महाकरुणयोपेतां जगदुदधरणोदधृ^िताम
mahākaruṇayopetāṃ jagaduddharaṇoddhṛ^itām
Endowed with great compassion, she supports the universe like an ocean.
ुदितादितयसङकाशां पुरणेनदुवदनपरभाम
uditādityasaṅkāśāṃ purṇenduvadanaprabhām
With a face radiant like the sun, she is the source of all light.
भाŚयनतीमिमां तारां सदेवासुरमानुŚान
bhāŚayantīmimāṃ tārāṃ sadevāsuramānuŚān
This star shines brightly, revered by gods, demons, and humans alike.
कमपयनतीं छ त्रीन लोकान त्रासयनतीं यकŚराकŚसान
kampayantīṃ cha trīn lokān trāsayantīṃ yakŚarākŚasān
She protects the three worlds, dispelling fear from the wicked.
नीलोतपलकरां देवीं मा भैरमा भैरिति बरुवन
nīlotpalakarāṃ devīṃ mā bhairmā bhairiti bruvan
O goddess with a blue lotus form, do not frighten me; I call upon you.
जगतसंरकŚणारथयाहमुतपादिता जिनैः
jagatsaṃrakŚaṇārthayāhamutpāditā jinaiḥ
I am the protector of the world, uplifted by the Jinas.
कानतारे शसत्रसमपाते नानाभयसमाकुले
kāntāre śastrasampāte nānābhayasamākule
In the forest of sounds, amidst the chaos of various fears,
समरणादेव नामानि सततवान रकŚामयहं सदा
smaraṇādeva nāmāni sattvān rakŚāmyahaṃ sadā
I constantly remember the names that protect me.
तारयिŚयामयहं सततवान नानाभयमहारणवात
tārayiŚyāmyahaṃ sattvān nānābhayamahārṇavāt
I am always saved from the great ocean of fear by her.
तेन तारेति मां लोके गायनति मुनिपुङगवाः
tena tāreti māṃ loke gāyanti munipuṅgavāḥ
Thus, the great sages sing of my deliverance in this world.
कृ^िताञजलिपुटो भूतवा ततः सादरसाधवसः
kṛ^itāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā tataḥ sādarasādhvasaḥ
With folded hands, I bow to the essence of all beings.
जवलयतयनतरिकŚे तामिदं वछनमबरवीत
jvalayatyantarikŚe tāmidaṃ vachanamabravīt
In the midst of the blazing fire, I declare this truth.
नामाŚटशतकं बरूहि यतपुरा कीरतितं जनैः
nāmāŚṭaśatakaṃ brūhi yatpurā kīrtitaṃ janaiḥ
Please tell me the hundred names that were sung by the people of old.
दशभूमीशवरैरनाथैरबोधिसततवैरमहरदधिकैः
daśabhūmīśvarairnāthairbodhisattvairmaharddhikaiḥ
The Lords of the Ten Directions, who are without a master, are always aware of this truth.
सरवपापहरं पुणयं माङगलयं कीरतिवरदधनम
sarvapāpaharaṃ puṇyaṃ māṅgalyaṃ kīrtivarddhanam
This verse speaks of the purifying and auspicious qualities of the divine, which removes all sins and bestows wealth and fame.
धनधानयकरं छैव ारोगयं पुŚटिवरधनम
dhanadhānyakaraṃ chaiva ārogyaṃ puŚṭivardhanam

ायुरारोगयजनकं सरवसततवसुखावहम

सरवसततवहितोदयुकता सङगरामोततारिणी जया

Victorious in all endeavors, she is the one who uplifts and protects those who seek her in battle.
परज्ञापारमिता देवी ारयतारा मनोरमा
prajñāpāramitā devī āryatārā manoramā
The goddess of supreme wisdom, she is the guiding star, enchanting and delightful.
दुनदुभी शङखिनी पूरणा विदयाराज्ञी परियमवदा
dundubhī śaṅkhinī pūrṇā vidyārājñī priyamvadā
She who sounds the conch, full of knowledge, is the queen of learning and speaks sweetly.
छनदरानना महागौरी जिता पीतवाससा
chandrānanā mahāgaurī ajitā pītavāsasā
With a beautiful face, the great Gauri is victorious, adorned in yellow garments.
महामाया महाशवेता महाबलपराकरमा
mahāmāyā mahāśvetā mahābalaparākramā
The great illusion, the pure white one, possesses immense strength and divine actions.
महारौदरी महाछणडी दुŚटसततवनिŚूदिनी
mahāraudrī mahāchaṇḍī duŚṭasattvaniŚūdinī
The great fierce one, the powerful Chandi, destroys the wicked and the troublesome.
परशानता शानतरूपा छ विजया जवलनपरभा
praśāntā śāntarūpā cha vijayā jvalanaprabhā

विदयुनमारी धवजी खङगी छकरी छापोदयतायुधा

जमभनो सतमभनी काली कालरात्रिरनिशाछरी

माङगलया शाङकरी सौमया जातवेदा मनोजवा

कपालिनी महावेगा सनधया सतया.पराजिता
kapālinī mahāvegā sandhyā satyā.aparājitā
With a skull in hand, she is of great speed, the one who is steadfast and invincible.
सारथवाहकृ^िपादृ^िŚटिरनŚटमारगपरदरशिनी
sārthavāhakṛ^ipādṛ^iŚṭirnaŚṭamārgapradarśinī
The charioteer, she is the one who guides the path of righteousness and reveals the way.
वरदा शासनी शासत्री सुरूपा.मृ^ितविकरमा
varadā śāsanī śāstrī surūpā.amṛ^itavikramā
The granter of boons, the ruler, she is the one who embodies the scriptures and is beautiful.
शरवरी योगिनी सिदधा छणडारी(ली)मृ^िता धरुवा
śarvarī yoginī siddhā chaṇḍārī(lī)amṛ^itā dhruvā
The night goddess, a yogini, is accomplished and the fierce one, steadfast and unyielding.
धनया पुणया महाभागा शुभगा परियदरशना
dhanyā puṇyā mahābhāgā śubhagā priyadarśanā
The prosperous, virtuous one, she is the great fortunate one, radiating auspiciousness.
कृ^ितानतत्रासिनी भीमा ुगरा ुगरमहातपा
kṛ^itāntatrāsinī bhīmā ugrā ugramahātapā
The one who brings fear to the wicked, she is Bhima, the fierce and powerful ascetic.
जगदधिते सदोदयुकता शरणया भकतवतसला
jagaddhite sadodyuktā śaraṇyā bhaktavatsalā
The one who is the refuge of devotees, endowed with the essence of the universe, is always present.
वागीशवरी शिवा सूकŚमा नितया सरवकरमानुगा
vāgīśvarī śivā sūkŚmā nityā sarvakramānugā
The goddess of speech, Shiva, is eternally auspicious and follows the paths of all actions.
सरवारथसाधनी भदरा गोपत्री धात्री धनपरदा
sarvārthasādhanī bhadrā goptrī dhātrī dhanapradā
She who fulfills all desires, the auspicious one, is the protector and bestower of wealth.
भया गौतमी पुणया शरीमललोकेशवरातमजा
abhayā gautamī puṇyā śrīmallokeśvarātmajā
O Gautami, born of the virtuous, may you shine in the world as the daughter of the Lord.

She who embodies the qualities of the stars, fulfills all wishes and desires.

Om Tara, grant me your grace, O Sharvani, the one who is the essence of all.
नामनामŚटोततरशतं हयेतदयतकीरतितं मया
nāmnāmaŚṭottaraśataṃ hyetadyatkīrtitaṃ mayā
The secret that is hidden, even among the gods, is difficult to attain.
रहसयभूतं गुहयं छ देवानामपि दुरलभम
rahasyabhūtaṃ guhyaṃ cha devānāmapi durlabham
She who brings good fortune and enjoyment, and destroys all sins.
सौभागयभोगकरणं सरवकिलविŚनाशनम
saubhāgyabhogakaraṇaṃ sarvakilviŚanāśanam
She who alleviates all ailments and brings eternal happiness to all beings.
सरववयाधिपरशमनं सरवसततवसुखावहम
sarvavyādhipraśamanaṃ sarvasattvasukhāvaham
He who reads this with concentration and purity at all times, is wise.
त्रिकालं यः पठेदधीमान शुछिसथाने समाहितः
trikālaṃ yaḥ paṭheddhīmān śuchisthāne samāhitaḥ
With time, he will attain royal fame and prosperity.
सो.छिरेणैव कालेन राजयशरियमवापनुयात
so.achireṇaiva kālena rājyaśriyamavāpnuyāt
The one who is in distress shall always be happy; the poor shall become wealthy.
दुःखी सयाततु सुखी नितयं दरिदरो धनवान भवेत
duḥkhī syāttu sukhī nityaṃ daridro dhanavān bhavet
May my son be a great scholar, intelligent and wise, without doubt.
पुत्रो भवेनमहापराज्ञो मेधावी छ न संशयः
putro bhavenmahāprājño medhāvī cha na saṃśayaḥ
The one who is bound by worldly ties shall be freed; victory shall be his in all endeavors.
बनधनानमुछयते बदधो वयवहारे जयो भवेत
bandhanānmuchyate baddho vyavahāre jayoa bhavet
Enemies will turn into friends, even the fiercest dogs will become companions.
शत्रवो मित्रतां यानति शृ^िङगिणः शुनका पि
śatravo mitratāṃ yānti śṛ^iṅgiṇaḥ śunakā api
In battles and difficulties, when faced with various fears, remembrance of her name dispels all fears.
सङगरामे सङकटे दुरगे नानाभयसमुछCहरिते
saṅgrāme saṅkaṭe durge nānābhayasamuchChrite
One who remembers her name at the time of death will not face fear of death and will attain great desires.
समरणादेव नामानि सरवानभयानपोहति
smaraṇādeva nāmāni sarvānbhayānapohati
For humans, the result is fruitful; thus, may they become one with the great spirit.
नाकालमृ^ितयुरभवति परापनोति विपुलाशयम
nākālamṛ^ityurbhavati prāpnoti vipulāśayam
Time does not destroy those who have a vast heart; they attain liberation.
मानुŚये सफलं जनम तसयैकसय महातमनः
mānuŚye saphalaṃ janma tasyaikasya mahātmanaḥ
For humans, the ultimate goal is to achieve a singular, great purpose.
यशछेदं परातरुतथाय मानवः कीरतयिŚयति
yaśchedaṃ prātarutthāya mānavaḥ kīrtayiŚyati
The one who cuts through fame and reputation, the human being, is praised in the world.
स दीरघकालमायुŚमान शरियं छ लभते नरः
sa dīrghakālamāyuŚmān śriyaṃ cha labhate naraḥ
One who possesses a long lifespan and is virtuous attains happiness.
देवा नागासतथा यकŚा गनधरवा कठपूतनाः
devā nāgāstathā yakŚā gandharvā kaṭhapūtanāḥ
The gods, serpents, and yakshas, along with the celestial musicians, are present.
पिशाछा राकŚसा भूता मातरो रौदरतेजसाः
piśāchā rākŚasā bhūtā mātaro raudratejasāḥ
The spirits, demons, and fierce beings, along with their mothers, are filled with wrath.
डाकिनयसतारकाः परेताः सकनदोमादया महागरहाः
ḍākinyastārakāḥ pretāḥ skandomādyā mahāgrahāḥ
The numerous spirits and ghosts, along with the great celestial beings, are present.
Cहायापसमारकाशछैव खेटका खारदकादयः
Chāyāpasmārakāśchaiva kheṭakā khārdakādayaḥ
The shadows, the spirits of the dead, and others do not cross over.
वेतालाशछिञछका परेŚया ये छानये दुŚटछेतसः
vetālāśchiñchakā preŚyā ye chānye duŚṭachetasaḥ
Even in darkness, they do not cross over; how then can they overcome the righteous?
Cहायामपि न लङघनति किं पुनसतसय विगरहम
Chāyāmapi na laṅghanti kiṃ punastasya vigraham
The wicked do not cause harm, nor do diseases afflict the virtuous.
दुŚटसततवा न बाधनते वयाधयो नाकरमनति छ
duŚṭasattvā na bādhante vyādhayo nākramanti cha
From the qualities of all powers, a lineage of prosperity is born.
सरवैशवरयगुणैरयुकतो वंशवृ^िदधिशछ जायते
sarvaiśvaryaguṇairyukto vaṃśavṛ^iddhiścha jāyate
A wise and noble person, who is pleasing to the eye, engages in righteous battles.
जातिसमरो भवेद धीमान कुलीनः परियदरशनः
jātismaro bhaved dhīmān kulīnaḥ priyadarśanaḥ
The one who is skilled in all scriptures and possesses great eloquence is revered.
परीतिमांशछ महावागमी सरवशासत्रविशारदः
prītimāṃścha mahāvāgmī sarvaśāstraviśāradaḥ
The one who serves good friends and is adorned with wisdom is always blessed.
कलयाणमित्रसंसेवी बोधिछिततविभूŚितः
kalyāṇamitrasaṃsevī bodhichittavibhūŚitaḥ
Wherever the wise are devoid of attachment, they find fulfillment.
सदा.विरहितो बुदधैरयत्र यत्रोपपदयते
sadā.avirahito buddhairyatra yatropapadyate
The name of the celestial being, who is the essence of the body, is the supreme knowledge.

iti śrīāryatārābhaṭṭārikāyā nāmāŚṭottaraśataṃ buddhaparibhāŚitaṃ parisampūrṇam
The one who is engaged in the service of the divine is blessed with wisdom and fulfillment.
