Ashtamatrika Stotram ..
The Ashtamatrika Stotram is a hymn dedicated to the eight Matrikas, invoking their blessings for protection and spiritual empowerment.
ों नमः शरीविघनेशवराŚटमातृ^िकाभयः
oṃ namaḥ śrīvighneśvarāŚṭamātṛ^ikābhyaḥ
Om, I bow to the Divine Mother, the Ashtamatrika, who dispels all fears.
विघनेशवर महावीर सिदधिरूपाय वृ^िदधये
vighneśvara mahāvīra siddhirūpāya vṛ^iddhaye
To Vighneshvara, the great hero, embodiment of success, I offer my reverence.
विघननाशाय देवाय गणेशाय नमामयहम
vighnanāśāya devāya gaṇeśāya namāmyaham
To the deity who removes obstacles, I humbly bow to Ganesha.
पूरवे बरहमाणी देवी हंसमारुहय संसथिता
pūrve brahmāṇī devī haṃsamāruhya saṃsthitā
In the east, the glorious Devi, seated upon a swan, shines forth.
पीतवरणपरभा देवी शरीबरहमाणि नमो.सतु ते
pītavarṇaprabhā devī śrībrahmāṇi namo.astu te
In her golden hue, the radiant Devi, I bow to you, O Shree Brahmani.
दकŚिणे शरीवाराही महिŚासनसंसथिता
dakŚiṇe śrīvārāhī mahiŚāsanasaṃsthitā
In the south, the fierce Shree Varahi, firmly established on her mighty throne.
रकतवरणा.ङकुशहसता शरीवाराहि नमो.सतु ते
raktavarṇā.aṅkuśahastā śrīvārāhi namo.astu te
With her red complexion and holding a goad, I bow to you, O Shree Varahi.
पशछिमे छेनदराणी देवी गजमारुहय संसथिता
paśchime chendrāṇī devī gajamāruhya saṃsthitā
In the west, the noble Devi, seated upon an elephant, brings forth her grace.
कुङकुमाभा वजरहसता शरीिनदराणि नमो.सतु ते
kuṅkumābhā vajrahastā śrīindrāṇi namo.astu te
With her crimson glow and holding a thunderbolt, I bow to you, O Shree Indrani.
ुततरे माहेशवरी देवी वृ^िŚमारुहय संसथिता
uttare māheśvarī devī vṛ^iŚamāruhya saṃsthitā
In the north, the great Maheshwari, seated upon a lion, radiates strength.
शवेतवरणपरभा देवी माहेशवरि नमो.सतु ते
śvetavarṇaprabhā devī māheśvari namo.astu te
In her white brilliance, the Devi Maheshwari, I bow to you.
ागनेये बालकौमारी मयूरकानतिपूरणी
āgneye bālakaumārī mayūrakāntipūraṇī
In the center, the youthful Kumari, the peacock adorned with beauty.
रकतवरणा शकतिहसता शरीकौमारि नमो.सतु ते
raktavarṇā śaktihastā śrīkaumāri namo.astu te
With her red complexion and holding a power, I bow to you, O Shree Kumari.
नैरृ^ितये वैŚणवी देवी शयामाभा गरुडासना
nairṛ^itye vaiŚṇavī devī śyāmābhā garuḍāsanā
In the southwest, the auspicious Vaishnavi, dark-hued and seated on Garuda.
शङखछकरधरा देवी नारायणि नमो.सतु ते
śaṅkhachakradharā devī nārāyaṇi namo.astu te
Holding a conch and discus, I bow to you, O Narayani.
वायवये छामुणडा देवी सिंहमारुहय संसथिता
vāyavye chāmuṇḍā devī siṃhamāruhya saṃsthitā
In the northwest, the fierce Chamunda, firmly established upon a lion.
ककारमूरतिधारी छ खडगहसतां नमामयहम
kakāramūrtidhārī cha khaḍgahastāṃ namāmyaham
With the form of a 'Ka', holding a sword, I humbly bow to you.
ीशाने छणडिका देवी धूमरवरणा परजवालिनी
īśāne chaṇḍikā devī dhūmravarṇā prajvālinī
In the northeast, the fierce Chandika, with a smoky hue, blazing with light.
करतिमुणडधरा देवी महालकŚमि नमो.सतु ते
kartimuṇḍadharā devī mahālakŚmi namo.astu te
Holding a garland of skulls, I bow to you, O Mahalakshmi.
Śटपीठसथिता देवीरŚटवृ^िकŚनिवासिनीः
aŚṭapīṭhasthitā devīraŚṭavṛ^ikŚanivāsinīḥ
The Devi, residing in the sacred Shatpeetha, the abode of the Shatmatrikas.
Śटभैरवसंयुकता Śटमातृ^िका नमामयहम
aŚṭabhairavasaṃyuktā aŚṭamātṛ^ikā namāmyaham
Joined with the six Bhairavas, I bow to the Ashtamatrika.
सूरयः सोमो महीपुत्रो बुधो देवासुरगुरू
sūryaḥ somo mahīputro budho devāsuragurū
The sun, the moon, the son of the earth, the wise Buddha, the teacher of gods and demons.
शनिशछ राहुः केतुशछ यमाय छ नमो नमः
śaniścha rāhuḥ ketuścha yamāya cha namo namaḥ
To Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, and Yama, I offer my repeated salutations.
िति शरी Śटमातृ^िकासतोत्रं समपूरणम
iti śrī aŚṭamātṛ^ikāstotraṃ sampūrṇam
Thus concludes the complete stotra of the Shree Ashtamatrika.
