Ganesha Divya Durga Stotram
The stotra praises Ganesha while invoking the protective and nurturing qualities of Durga.
श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
śrīkr̥ṣṇa uvāca

श्रीकृष्ण उवाच ।
vada śiva mahānātha pārvatīramaṇēśvara
Lord Krishna spoke
वद शिव महानाथ पार्वतीरमणेश्वर । दैत्यसङ्ग्रामवेलायां स्मरणीयं किमीश्वर ॥ १ ॥
daityasaṅgrāmavēlāyāṁ smaraṇīyaṁ kimīśvara
Speak, O great Lord Shiva, O Parvati's beloved
ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु कृष्ण प्रवक्ष्यामि गुह्याद्गुह्यतरं महत् ।
īśvara uvāca
In the time of the battle with the demons, what should be remembered, O Lord?
गणेशदुर्गदिव्यं च शृणु वक्ष्यामि भक्तितः ॥ २ ॥
śr̥ṇu kr̥ṣṇa pravakṣyāmi guhyādguhyataraṁ mahat
The Lord spoke
त्रिपुरवधवेलायां स्मरणीयं किमीश्वर ।
gaṇēśadurgadivyaṁ ca śr̥ṇu vakṣyāmi bhaktitaḥ
Listen, Krishna, I shall speak of that which is more secret than the secret
दिव्यदुर्गप्रसादेन त्रिपुराणां वधः कृतः ॥ ३ ॥
tripuravadhavēlāyāṁ smaraṇīyaṁ kimīśvara
The divine hymn of Ganesha and the great one, listen, I shall speak with devotion
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच ।
divyadurgaprasādēna tripurāṇāṁ vadhaḥ kr̥taḥ
In the time of the slaying of Tripura, what should be remembered, O Lord?
हेरम्बस्य दुर्गमिदं वद त्वं भक्तवत्सल । ईश्वर उवाच ।
śrīkr̥ṣṇa uvāca
By the grace of the divine Durga, the slaying of Tripura was accomplished
शृणु वत्स प्रवक्ष्यामि दुर्गे वैनायकं शुभम् ॥ ४ ॥
hērambasya durgamidaṁ vada tvaṁ bhaktavatsala
Lord Krishna spoke
सङ्ग्रामे च श्मशाने च अरण्ये चोरसङ्कटे ।
īśvara uvāca
Speak of this difficult path, O you who are kind to your devotees
नृपद्वारे ज्वरे घोरे येनैव मुच्यते भयात् ॥ ५ ॥
śr̥ṇu vatsa pravakṣyāmi durgē vaināyakaṁ śubham
The Lord spoke
प्राच्यां रक्षतु हेरम्बः आग्नेय्यामग्नितेजसा ।
saṅgrāmē ca śmaśānē ca araṇyē cōrasaṅkaṭē
Listen, dear one, I shall speak of the auspicious Vainayaka of Durga
याम्यां लम्बोदरो रक्षेत् नैरृत्यां पार्वतीसुतः ॥ ६ ॥
nr̥padvārē jvarē ghōrē yēnaiva mucyatē bhayāt
In battle, in the cremation ground, in the forest, in the danger from thieves
प्रतीच्यां वक्रतुण्डश्च वायव्यां वरदप्रभुः ।
prācyāṁ rakṣatu hērambaḥ āgnēyyāmagnitējasā
At the gates of the king, in the terrible fever, by whom one is freed from fear
गणेशः पातु औदीच्यां ईशान्यामीश्वरस्तथा ॥ ७ ॥
yāmyāṁ lambōdarō rakṣēt nairr̥tyāṁ pārvatīsutaḥ
May the Lord Hēramba protect in the east, with the fire's radiant energy
ऊर्ध्वं रक्षेद्धूम्रवर्णो ह्यधस्तात्पापनाशनः ।
pratīcyāṁ vakratuṇḍaśca vāyavyāṁ varadaprabhuḥ
May the one with a large belly protect us in the south, the son of Parvati in the southwest,
एवं दशदिशो रक्षेत् हेरम्बो विघ्ननाशनः ॥ ८ ॥
gaṇēśaḥ pātu audīcyāṁ īśānyāmīśvarastathā
In the west, may the one with a curved trunk protect us, and in the northwest, the lord of boons.
हेरम्बस्य दुर्गमिदं त्रिकालं यः पठेन्नरः ।
ūrdhvaṁ rakṣēddhūmravarṇō hyadhastātpāpanāśanaḥ
May Ganesh protect us in the northeast, and the lord of Ishana in the southeast.
कोटिजन्मकृतं पापं एकावृत्तेन नश्यति ॥ ९ ॥
ēvaṁ daśadiśō rakṣēt hērambō vighnanāśanaḥ
May the dark-colored one protect us from above, and the remover of sins from below.
गणेशाङ्गारशेषेण दिव्यदुर्गेण मन्त्रितम् ।
hērambasya durgamidaṁ trikālaṁ yaḥ paṭhēnnaraḥ
Thus, may the remover of obstacles protect us in all ten directions.
ललाटं चर्चितं येन त्रैलोक्यवशमानयेत् ॥ १० ॥
kōṭijanmakr̥taṁ pāpaṁ ēkāvr̥ttēna naśyati
Whoever recites this difficult verse of Heramba at the three times of day,
मात्रागमसहस्राणि सुरापानशतानि च ।
gaṇēśāṅgāraśēṣēṇa divyadurgēṇa mantritam
The sins accumulated over countless births are destroyed by a single recitation.
तत् क्षणात्तानि नश्यन्ति गणेशतीर्थवन्दनात् ॥ ११ ॥
lalāṭaṁ carcitaṁ yēna trailōkyavaśamānayēt
By the remaining parts of Ganesh, with the divine mantra,
नैवेद्यं वक्ततुण्डस्य नरो भुङ्क्ते तु भक्तितः ।
mātrāgamasahasrāṇi surāpānaśatāni ca
The forehead that is anointed by it will bring the three worlds under its control.
राज्यदानसहस्राणि तेषां फलमवाप्नुयात् ॥ १२ ॥
tat kṣaṇāttāni naśyanti gaṇēśatīrthavandanāt
Thousands of scriptures and hundreds of drinks will vanish in an instant,
कदाचित्पठ्यते भक्त्या हेरम्बस्य प्रसादतः ।
naivēdyaṁ vaktatuṇḍasya narō bhuṅktē tu bhaktitaḥ
By the worship of the holy place of Ganesh.
शाकिनी डाकिनी भूतप्रेत वेताल राक्षसाः ॥ १३ ॥
rājyadānasahasrāṇi tēṣāṁ phalamavāpnuyāt
Let no one eat the offering of the trunked one unless they are devoted.
ब्रह्मराक्षसकूष्माण्डाः प्रणश्यन्ति च दूरतः ।
kadācitpaṭhyatē bhaktyā hērambasya prasādataḥ
May they receive the fruits of thousands of kingdoms.
भूर्जे वा ताडपत्रे वा दुर्गहेरम्बमालिखेत् ॥ १४ ॥
śākinī ḍākinī bhūtaprēta vētāla rākṣasāḥ
At times, it is recited with devotion, by the grace of Heramba.
करमूले धृतं येन करस्थाः सर्वसिद्धयः ।
brahmarākṣasakūṣmāṇḍāḥ praṇaśyanti ca dūrataḥ
Spirits, ghosts, vampires, and demons.
एकमावर्तनं भक्त्या पठेन्नित्यं तु यो नरः ॥ १५ ॥
bhūrjē vā tāḍapatrē vā durgahērambamālikhēt
Brahmarakshasas and Koshmandas perish from afar.
कल्पकोटिसहस्राणि शिवलोके महीयते ।
karamūlē dhr̥taṁ yēna karasthāḥ sarvasiddhayaḥ
On a birch tree or a palm leaf, let one inscribe the difficult mantra.
लिङ्गदानसहस्राणि पृथ्वीदानशतानि च ॥ १६ ॥
ēkamāvartanaṁ bhaktyā paṭhēnnityaṁ tu yō naraḥ
By the root of the hand, those who hold it attain all accomplishments.
गजदानसहस्रं च गणेशस्तवनात् फलम् ॥ १७ ॥
kalpakōṭisahasrāṇi śivalōkē mahīyatē
One who recites the single cycle with devotion daily, that person.
इति श्रीपद्मपुराणे गणेशदिव्यदुर्गस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् । श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
liṅgadānasahasrāṇi pr̥thvīdānaśatāni ca
In the realm of Shiva, countless kalpas flourish.
Ganesha - गणेश
gajadānasahasraṁ ca gaṇēśastavanāt phalam
Thousands of lingas are offered, and hundreds of earth donations too.
Heramba Ganapati Stotram – हेरम्ब स्तोत्रम्
iti śrīpadmapurāṇē gaṇēśadivyadurgastōtraṁ sampūrṇam
The fruit of a thousand elephant donations comes from the worship of Ganesha.
