Ganesha Pratah Smarana Stotram
This stotra focuses on remembering Ganesha in the morning, seeking his blessings for a successful and peaceful day.
श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
prātaḥ smarāmi gaṇanāthamanāthabandhuṁ sindūrapūrapariśōbhitagaṇḍayugmam
In the morning, I remember the Lord of Ganas, the friend of the helpless.
प्रातः स्मरामि गणनाथमनाथबन्धुं
uddaṇḍavighnaparikhaṇḍanacaṇḍadaṇḍaṁ ākhaṇḍalādisuranāyakabr̥ndavandyam
Adorned with the red powder, the pair of ears shines beautifully.
सिन्दूरपूरपरिशोभितगण्डयुग्मम् । उद्दण्डविघ्नपरिखण्डनचण्डदण्डं
prātarnamāmi caturānanavandyamānaṁ icchānukūlamakhilaṁ ca varaṁ dadānam
With a mighty rod, he breaks the obstacles, the fierce one.
आखण्डलादिसुरनायकबृन्दवन्द्यम् ॥ १ ॥
taṁ tundilaṁ dvirasanādhipa yajñasūtraṁ putraṁ vilāsacaturaṁ śivayōḥ śivāya
I bow down to the leader of the gods, who is worshipped by the groups of deities.
प्रातर्नमामि चतुराननवन्द्यमानं
prātarbhajāmyabhayadaṁ khalu bhaktaśōka- -dāvānalaṁ gaṇavibhuṁ varakuñjarāsyam
In the morning, I bow to the one with four faces, who is worthy of worship.
इच्छानुकूलमखिलं च वरं ददानम् । तं तुन्दिलं द्विरसनाधिप यज्ञसूत्रं
ajñānakānanavināśanahavyavāhaṁ utsāhavardhanamahaṁ sutamīśvarasya
He grants all desires and bestows boons.
पुत्रं विलासचतुरं शिवयोः शिवाय ॥ २ ॥
ślōkatrayamidaṁ puṇyaṁ sadā sāmrājyadāyakam
That one, the lord of the two seated elephants, is the essence of sacrifices.
प्रातर्भजाम्यभयदं खलु भक्तशोक-
prātarutthāya satataṁ yaḥ paṭhētprayataḥ pumān
The son, skilled in play, is for the auspicious Lord Shiva.
-दावानलं गणविभुं वरकुञ्जरास्यम् । अज्ञानकाननविनाशनहव्यवाहं
iti śrī gaṇēśa prātaḥsmaraṇa stōtram
In the morning, I worship the one who gives fearlessness, indeed, the remover of the sorrow of devotees.
