रुणादरिमयं लिङगं तुŚटाव जगदमबिका
aruṇādrimayaṃ liṅgaṃ tuŚṭāva jagadambikā
The sacred Lingam, a refuge from all fears, is adored by Jagadambika.
नमसते विशवरूपाय शोणाछलवपुरभृ^िते
namaste viśvarūpāya śoṇāchalavapurbhṛ^ite
I bow to the universal form, dwelling in the vibrant abode of the red mountain.
तेजोमयादरिलिङगाय सरवपाततकनाशिने
tejomayādriliṅgāya sarvapātatakanāśine
To the radiant Lingam, the destroyer of all calamities, I offer my reverence.
बरहमणा विŚणुना छ तवं दुŚपरिछCहेदयवैभवः
brahmaṇā viŚṇunā cha tvaṃ duŚparichChedyavaibhavaḥ
O Lord, you are the embodiment of the divine, surpassing all worldly splendor.
गनिरूपो.पि सञCहानतो लोकानुगरहकलृ^िपतये
agnirūpo.api sañChānto lokānugrahaklṛ^iptaye
Even in the form of Gana, you guide the worlds with your compassionate grace.
शकतया छ तततवसङघातकरः कालानलाकृ^ितिः
śaktyā cha tattvasaṅghātakaraḥ kālānalākṛ^itiḥ
With your power, you manifest as the fierce fire, consuming all that is unworthy.
दरिशरेŚठारुणादरीश रूपलावणयवारिधे
adriśreŚṭhāruṇādrīśa rūpalāvaṇyavāridhe
O Lord of Arunachala, your beauty is an ocean of divine allure.
विछित्ररूपमेततते वेदवेदयसुरारछितम
vichitrarūpametatte vedavedyasurārchitam
This wondrous form is revered by the Vedas and the celestial beings.
तेजसां देव सरवेŚां बीजभूतं निगदयसे
tejasāṃ deva sarveŚāṃ bījabhūtaṃ nigadyase
O deity of brilliance, you are the seed of all that exists.
दिवयं हि परमं तेजसतव देव महेशवर
divyaṃ hi paramaṃ tejastava deva maheśvara
Indeed, you are the supreme light, O Maheshvara, the divine essence.
यतपुरा बरहमणा दृ^िŚटं विŚणुना छ विछिनवता
yatpurā brahmaṇā dṛ^iŚṭaṃ viŚṇunā cha vichinvatā
In ancient times, the vision of you was revealed by Brahma and Vishnu.
दय पूतासमि देवेश तव सनदरशनादहम
adya pūtāsmi deveśa tava sandarśanādaham
O Lord of compassion, through your divine vision, I am purified.
तेजो दरशय मे दिवयं सरवदोŚहरं परम
tejo darśaya me divyaṃ sarvadoŚaharaṃ param
Grant me the vision of your divine light, which dispels all sins.
िति शरीसकनदपुराणे माहेशवरखणडे, रुणाछलमाहातमये, पूरवारधे, दवादशाधयायानतरगतं जगदमबिकाकृ^ितं रुणाछलशिवसतोत्रं समापतम
iti śrīskandapurāṇe māheśvarakhaṇḍe, aruṇāchalamāhātmye, pūrvārdhe, dvādaśādhyāyāntargataṃ jagadambikākṛ^itaṃ aruṇāchalaśivastotraṃ samāptam
