श्री सुब्रह्मण्य स्तोत्राणि
jaya dēvēndrajākānta jaya mr̥tyuñjayātmaja
Victory to Skanda, the son of the god of death,
जय देवेन्द्रजाकान्त जय मृत्युञ्जयात्मज ।
jaya śailēndrajāsūnō jaya śambhugaṇāvr̥ta
Victory to the son of the lord of mountains, surrounded by the hosts of Shiva,
जय शैलेन्द्रजासूनो जय शम्भुगणावृत ॥ १ ॥
jaya tārakadarpaghna jaya vighnēśvarānuja
Victory to the destroyer of the pride of Taraka, victory to the younger brother of Vighneshvara,
जय तारकदर्पघ्न जय विघ्नेश्वरानुज ।
jaya dēvēndra jāmātaḥ jaya paṅkajalōcana
Victory to the son-in-law of Indra, victory to the lotus-eyed one,
जय देवेन्द्र जामातः जय पङ्कजलोचन ॥ २ ॥
jaya śaṅkarasambhūta jaya padmāsanārcita
Victory to the one born from Shiva, victory to the one worshipped on the lotus seat,
जय शङ्करसम्भूत जय पद्मासनार्चित ।
jaya dākṣāyaṇīsūnō jaya kāśavanōdbhava
Victory to the son of Daksha, victory to the one born in Kashi,
जय दाक्षायणीसूनो जय काशवनोद्भव ॥ ३ ॥
jaya bhāgīrathīsūnō jaya pāvakasambhava
Victory to the son of Bhagirathi, victory to the one born of fire,
जय भागीरथीसूनो जय पावकसम्भव ।
jaya padmajagarvaghna jaya vaikuṇṭhapūjita
Victory to the one who destroys the pride of the lotus-born, victory to the one worshipped in Vaikuntha,
जय पद्मजगर्वघ्न जय वैकुण्ठपूजित ॥ ४ ॥
jaya bhaktēṣṭavarada jaya bhaktārtibhañjana
Victory to the granter of devotees' wishes, victory to the remover of devotees' sufferings,
जय भक्तेष्टवरद जय भक्तार्तिभञ्जन ।
jaya bhaktaparādhīna jaya bhaktaprapūjita
Victory to the one who is dependent on devotees, victory to the one worshipped by devotees,
जय भक्तपराधीन जय भक्तप्रपूजित ॥ ५ ॥
jaya dharmavatāṁ śrēṣṭha jaya dāridryanāśana
Victory to the best among the righteous, victory to the destroyer of poverty,
जय धर्मवतां श्रेष्ठ जय दारिद्र्यनाशन ।
jaya buddhimatāṁ śrēṣṭha jaya nāradasannuta
Victory to the best among the wise, victory to the one praised by Narada,
जय बुद्धिमतां श्रेष्ठ जय नारदसन्नुत ॥ ६ ॥
jaya bhōgīśvarādhīśa jaya tumburusēvita
Victory to the lord of the enjoyers, victory to the one served by Tumburu,
जय भोगीश्वराधीश जय तुम्बुरुसेवित ।
jaya ṣaṭtārakārādhya jaya vallīmanōhara
Victory to the one worshipped by the six stars, victory to the one who captivates the mind of Valli,
जय षट्तारकाराध्य जय वल्लीमनोहर ॥ ७ ॥
jaya yōgasamārādhya jaya sundaravigraha
Victory to the one worshipped in yoga, victory to the one of beautiful form.
जय योगसमाराध्य जय सुन्दरविग्रह ।
jaya saundaryakūpāra jaya vāsavavandita
Victory to the beauty of the divine abode, victory to the one worshipped by the gods.
जय सौन्दर्यकूपार जय वासववन्दित ॥ ८ ॥
jaya ṣaḍbhāvarahita jaya vēdavidāṁ vara
Victory to the one free from the six emotions, victory to the best among the knower of the Vedas.
जय षड्भावरहित जय वेदविदां वर ।
jaya ṣaṇmukhadēvēśa jaya bhō vijayī bhava
Victory to the Lord of the six-faced deity, victory to you, may you be victorious.
जय षण्मुखदेवेश जय भो विजयी भव ॥ ९ ॥
