श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
skanda uvāca
Salutations to you, O embodiment of yoga, who resides in the body of supreme consciousness.
स्कन्द उवाच ।
namastē yōgarūpāya samprajñānaśarīriṇē
The supreme consciousness, which is beyond all ignorance, is your form, O Lord, and you grant all accomplishments.
नमस्ते योगरूपाय सम्प्रज्ञानशरीरिणे । असम्प्रज्ञानमूर्ध्ने ते तयोर्योगमयाय च ॥ १ ॥
asamprajñānamūrdhnē tē tayōryōgamayāya ca
You are the embodiment of confusion, and your power bestows all achievements, O Lord.
वामाङ्गभ्रान्तिरूपा ते सिद्धिः सर्वप्रदा प्रभो । भ्रान्तिधारकरूपा वै बुद्धिस्ते दक्षिणाङ्गके ॥ २ ॥
vāmāṅgabhrāntirūpā tē siddhiḥ sarvapradā prabhō
You are the source of confusion, and your wisdom is the right side of enlightenment.
मायासिद्धिस्तथा देवो मायिको बुद्धिसञ्ज्ञितः । तयोर्योगे गणेशान त्वं स्थितोऽसि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ३ ॥
bhrāntidhārakarūpā vai buddhistē dakṣiṇāṅgakē
The power of illusion is indeed divine, and you are known as the embodiment of wisdom.
जगद्रूपो गकारश्च णकारो ब्रह्मवाचकः । तयोर्योगे हि गणपो नाम तुभ्यं नमो नमः ॥ ४ ॥
māyāsiddhistathā dēvō māyikō buddhisañjñitaḥ
In your union, O Ganesha, you are established; I bow to you.
चतुर्विधं जगत्सर्वं ब्रह्म तत्र तदात्मकम् । हस्ताश्चत्वार एवं ते चतुर्भुज नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ५ ॥
tayōryōgē gaṇēśāna tvaṁ sthitō:'si namō:'stu tē
The form of the universe is represented by the sound "ga," while "na" signifies the essence of Brahman.
स्वसंवेद्यं च यद्ब्रह्म तत्र खेलकरो भवान् । तेन स्वानन्दवासी त्वं स्वानन्दपतये नमः ॥ ६ ॥
jagadrūpō gakāraśca ṇakārō brahmavācakaḥ
In your union, O Lord of the Ganas, I offer my repeated salutations to you.
द्वन्द्वं चरसि भक्तानां तेषां हृदि समास्थितः । चौरवत्तेन तेऽभूद्वै मूषको वाहनं प्रभो ॥ ७ ॥
tayōryōgē hi gaṇapō nāma tubhyaṁ namō namaḥ
All four types of the universe are indeed Brahman, and therein lies the essence of it all.
जगति ब्रह्मणि स्थित्वा भोगान्भुङ्क्षि स्वयोगगः । जगद्भिर्ब्रह्मभिस्तेन चेष्टितं ज्ञायते न च ॥ ८ ॥
caturvidhaṁ jagatsarvaṁ brahma tatra tadātmakam
You have four hands, and I bow to you, O four-armed one.
चौरवद्भोगकर्ता त्वं तेन ते वाहनं परम् । मूषको मूषकारूढो हेरम्बाय नमो नमः ॥ ९ ॥
hastāścatvāra ēvaṁ tē caturbhuja namō:'stu tē
You are the one who plays in the essence of Brahman, which is self-aware.
किं स्तौमि त्वां गणाधीश योगशान्तिधरं परम् । वेदादयो ययुः शान्तिमतो देवं नमाम्यहम् ॥ १० ॥
svasaṁvēdyaṁ ca yadbrahma tatra khēlakarō bhavān
Thus, you reside in the bliss of your own self; I bow to you, O Lord of bliss.
इति स्तोत्रं समाकर्ण्य गणेशस्तमुवाच ह । वरं वृणु महाभाग दास्यामि दुर्लभं ह्यपि ॥ ११ ॥
tēna svānandavāsī tvaṁ svānandapatayē namaḥ
You move among your devotees, residing in their hearts.
त्वया कृतमिदं स्तोत्रं योगशान्तिप्रदं भवेत् । मयि भक्तिकरं स्कन्द सर्वसिद्धिप्रदं तथा ॥ १२ ॥
dvandvaṁ carasi bhaktānāṁ tēṣāṁ hr̥di samāsthitaḥ
By your grace, you indeed become the mouse, your vehicle, O Lord.
यं यमिच्छसि तं तं वै दास्यामि स्तोत्रयन्त्रितः । पठते शृण्वते नित्यं कार्तिकेय विशेषतः ॥ १३ ॥
cauravattēna tē:'bhūdvai mūṣakō vāhanaṁ prabhō
In the world, standing as Brahman, enjoy the pleasures through your own yoga.
इति श्रीमुद्गलपुराणे मनोरथसिद्धिप्रदं नाम गणेशस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् । श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
jagati brahmaṇi sthitvā bhōgānbhuṅkṣi svayōgagaḥ
By the actions of the world, that which is done by Brahman is not known.

jagadbhirbrahmabhistēna cēṣṭitaṁ jñāyatē na ca
You, the thief of enjoyment, are that supreme vehicle.

cauravadbhōgakartā tvaṁ tēna tē vāhanaṁ param
To Lord Heramba, who is mounted on a mouse, I bow repeatedly.

mūṣakō mūṣakārūḍhō hērambāya namō namaḥ
What shall I praise you, O Lord of the Ganas, who holds the supreme peace of yoga?
