Sankata Nasana Ganesha Stotram
The stotram praises Ganesha as the remover of obstacles and seeks his blessings for a smooth and successful journey in life.
श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
nārada uvāca
Nārada said,
पुस्तक
praṇamya śirasā dēvaṁ gaurīputraṁ vināyakam
Bowing with my head to the deity, the son of Gauri, Vinayaka,
: यह स्तोत्र “
bhaktāvāsaṁ smarēnnityamāyuṣkāmārthasiddhayē
One should always remember the abode of devotees for the fulfillment of long life and desires.
” पुस्तकमें मुद्रित है ।
prathamaṁ vakratuṇḍaṁ ca ēkadantaṁ dvitīyakam
First is Vakratunda, the second is Ekadanta,
नारद उवाच । प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम् ।
tr̥tīyaṁ kr̥ṣṇapiṅgākṣaṁ gajavaktraṁ caturthakam
The third is Krishna Pingaksha, the fourth is Gajavaktra,
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यमायुष्कामार्थसिद्धये ॥ १ ॥
lambōdaraṁ pañcamaṁ ca ṣaṣṭhaṁ vikaṭamēva ca
The fifth is Lambodara, the sixth is Vikat,
प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम् ।
saptamaṁ vighnarājaṁ ca dhūmravarṇaṁ tathāṣṭamam
The seventh is Vighnaraja, of smoky color, and the eighth,
तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम् ॥ २ ॥
navamaṁ bhālacandraṁ ca daśamaṁ tu vināyakam
The ninth is Bhalachandra, and the tenth is Vinayaka,
लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
ēkādaśaṁ gaṇapatiṁ dvādaśaṁ tu gajānanam
The eleventh is Ganapati, and the twelfth is Gajanan.
सप्तमं विघ्नराजं च धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम् ॥ ३ ॥
dvādaśaitāni nāmāni trisandhyaṁ yaḥ paṭhēnnaraḥ
Whoever recites these twelve names three times,
नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम् ।
na ca vighnabhayaṁ tasya sarvasiddhikaraṁ param
Will have no fear of obstacles; he is the supreme giver of all accomplishments.
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम् ॥ ४ ॥
vidyārthī labhatē vidyāṁ dhanārthī labhatē dhanam
The student gains knowledge, the seeker of wealth gains riches,
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसन्ध्यं यः पठेन्नरः ।
putrārthī labhatē putrānmōkṣārthī labhatē gatim
The one desiring a son gains sons, and the one seeking liberation attains the ultimate goal.
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं परम् ॥ ५ ॥
japēdgaṇapatistōtraṁ ṣaḍbhirmāsaiḥ phalaṁ labhēt
By chanting the Ganapati Stotra, one will reap the fruits within six months,
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
saṁvatsarēṇa siddhiṁ ca labhatē nātra saṁśayaḥ
And within a year, one will attain success; there is no doubt about this.
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥ ६ ॥
aṣṭabhyō brāhmaṇēbhyaśca likhitvā yaḥ samarpayēt
To those who write and offer to the eight Brahmanas,
जपेद्गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलं लभेत् ।
tasya vidyā bhavētsarvā gaṇēśasya prasādataḥ
All knowledge will come to them by the grace of Ganesh.
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ७ ॥
iti śrīnāradapurāṇē saṅkaṣṭanāśanaṁ nāma gaṇēśa stōtram
Thus, in the Shri Narada Purana, is the Ganesh Stotra named "Removal of Obstacles."
