Sri Lalita Lakaradi Shatanama Stotram
The Sri Lalita Lakaradi Shatanama Stotram consists of a hundred names of Goddess Lalita, each representing her divine qualities and powers.
पूर्वपीठिका –
pūrvapīṭhikā – kailāsaśikharāsīnaṁ dēvadēvaṁ jagadgurum
Seated on the peak of Kailasa, the Lord of Lords, the Guru of the Universe,
कैलासशिखरासीनं देवदेवं जगद्गुरुम् ।
papracchēśaṁ parānandaṁ bhairavī paramēśvaram
I asked about the supreme bliss, the Divine Bhairava, the Supreme Lord.
पप्रच्छेशं परानन्दं भैरवी परमेश्वरम् ॥ १ ॥
śrībhairavyuvāca
Sri Bhairava spoke:
श्रीभैरव्युवाच ।
kaulēśa śrōtumicchāmi sarvamantrōttamōttamam
O Kaulesha, I wish to hear the most excellent and supreme mantra,
कौलेश श्रोतुमिच्छामि सर्वमन्त्रोत्तमोत्तमम् । ललिताया शतनाम सर्वकामफलप्रदम् ॥ २ ॥
lalitāyā śatanāma sarvakāmaphalapradam
The hundred names of Lalita, granting all desires.
श्रीभैरवोवाच । शृणु देवि महाभागे स्तोत्रमेतदनुत्तमम् ।
śrībhairavōvāca
Sri Bhairava said:
पठनाद्धारणादस्य सर्वसिद्धीश्वरो भवेत् ॥ ३ ॥
śr̥ṇu dēvi mahābhāgē stōtramētadanuttamam
Listen, O Devi, great fortune, to this unparalleled hymn,
षट्कर्माणि च सिद्ध्यन्ति स्तवस्यास्य प्रसादतः ।
paṭhanāddhāraṇādasya sarvasiddhīśvarō bhavēt
By reciting it, one attains all powers of accomplishment.
गोपनीयं पशोरग्रे स्वयोनिमपरे यथा ॥ ४ ॥
ṣaṭkarmāṇi ca siddhyanti stavasyāsya prasādataḥ
The six actions are accomplished by the grace of this hymn.
ललिताया लकारादि नामशतकस्य देवि ।
gōpanīyaṁ paśōragrē svayōnimaparē yathā
It should be kept secret, just as the essence of animals is.
राजराजेश्वरो ऋषिः प्रोक्तो छन्दोऽनुष्टुप् तथा ॥ ५ ॥
lalitāyā lakārādi nāmaśatakasya dēvi
O Devi, of the hundred names starting with 'La' of Lalita,
देवता ललितादेवी षट्कर्मसिद्ध्यर्थे तथा ।
rājarājēśvarō r̥ṣiḥ prōktō chandō:'nuṣṭup tathā
The sage is proclaimed as the King of Kings, in the meter of Anushtubh.
धर्मार्थकाममोक्षेषु विनियोगः प्रकीर्तितः ॥ ६ ॥
dēvatā lalitādēvī ṣaṭkarmasiddhyarthē tathā
The deity is the Goddess Lalita, for the accomplishment of the six actions,
वाक्-काम-शक्तिबीजेन करषडङ्गमाचरेत् ।
dharmārthakāmamōkṣēṣu viniyōgaḥ prakīrtitaḥ
The application is declared for Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha.
प्रयोगे बालात्र्यक्षरी योजयित्वा जपं चरेत् ॥ ७ ॥
vāk-kāma-śaktibījēna karaṣaḍaṅgamācarēt
One should perform the six limbs of action with the seed of speech and desire.
अस्य श्री ललिता लकारादि शतनाममालामन्त्रस्य श्रीराजराजेश्वरो ऋषिः अनुष्टुप् छन्दः श्रीललितादेवी देवता षट्कर्मसिद्ध्यर्थे धर्मार्थकाममोक्षार्थे पाठे विनियोगः ।
prayōgē bālātryakṣarī yōjayitvā japaṁ carēt
In the practice, one should perform the mantra repetition by connecting the letters of the sacred syllables.
करन्यासः –
asya śrī lalitā lakārādi śatanāmamālāmantrasya śrīrājarājēśvarō r̥ṣiḥ anuṣṭup chandaḥ śrīlalitādēvī dēvatā ṣaṭkarmasiddhyarthē dharmārthakāmamōkṣārthē pāṭhē viniyōgaḥ
This is the mantra of the hundred names of Shri Lalita, composed by the sage Shri Rajarajeshvara, in the Anushtub meter, with the goddess Shri Lalita as the deity, for the accomplishment of the six actions, and for the purposes of dharma, artha, kama, and moksha, the recitation is prescribed.
ओं ऐं अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां नमः ।
karanyāsaḥ – ōṁ aiṁ aṅguṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ
Hand gestures (Karanyasa) –
ओं क्लीं तर्जनीभ्यां नमः । ओं सौः मध्यमाभ्यां नमः ।
ōṁ klīṁ tarjanībhyāṁ namaḥ
Om Aim, I bow with my thumbs.
ओं ऐं अनामिकाभ्यां नमः । ओं क्लीं कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः ।
ōṁ sauḥ madhyamābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om Klim, I bow with my index fingers.
ओं सौः करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः । अङ्गन्यासः –
ōṁ aiṁ anāmikābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om Sauh, I bow with my middle fingers.
ओं ऐं हृदयाय नमः । ओं क्लीं शिरसे स्वाहा ।
ōṁ klīṁ kaniṣṭhikābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om Aim, I bow with my ring fingers.
ओं सौः शिखायै वषट् । ओं ऐं कवचाय हुम् ।
ōṁ sauḥ karatalakarapr̥ṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ
Om Klim, I bow with my little fingers.
ओं क्लीं नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट् । ओं सौः अस्त्राय फट् ।
aṅganyāsaḥ – ōṁ aiṁ hr̥dayāya namaḥ
Om Sauh, I bow with the palms of my hands.
अथ ध्यानम् –
ōṁ klīṁ śirasē svāhā
Body gestures (Anganyasa) –
बालार्कमण्डलाभासां चतुर्बाहुं त्रिलोचनाम् ।
ōṁ sauḥ śikhāyai vaṣaṭ
Om Aim, I bow to my heart.
पाशाङ्कुशधनुर्बाणान् धारयन्तीं शिवां भजे ॥
ōṁ aiṁ kavacāya hum
Om Klim, I offer my head.
अथ स्तोत्रम् –
ōṁ klīṁ nētratrayāya vauṣaṭ
Om Sauh, I offer my crown.
ललिता लक्ष्मी लोलाक्षी लक्ष्मणा लक्ष्मणार्चिता । लक्ष्मणप्राणरक्षिणी लाकिनी लक्ष्मणप्रिया ॥ १ ॥
ōṁ sauḥ astrāya phaṭ
Om Aim, I offer my armor.
लोला लकारा लोमेशा लोलजिह्वा लज्जावती । लक्ष्या लाक्ष्या लक्षरता लकाराक्षरभूषिता ॥ २ ॥
atha dhyānam – bālārkamaṇḍalābhāsāṁ caturbāhuṁ trilōcanām
Om Klim, I offer my three eyes.
लोललयात्मिका लीला लीलावती च लाङ्गली । लावण्यामृतसारा च लावण्यामृतदीर्घिका ॥ ३ ॥
pāśāṅkuśadhanurbāṇān dhārayantīṁ śivāṁ bhajē
Om Sauh, I offer my weapon.
लज्जा लज्जामती लज्जा ललना ललनप्रिया । लवणा लवली लसा लाक्षकी लुब्धा लालसा ॥ ४ ॥
atha stōtram – lalitā lakṣmī lōlākṣī lakṣmaṇā lakṣmaṇārcitā
Now the meditation –
लोकमाता लोकपूज्या लोकजननी लोलुपा । लोहिता लोहिताक्षी च लिङ्गाख्या चैव लिङ्गेशी ॥ ५ ॥
lakṣmaṇaprāṇarakṣiṇī lākinī lakṣmaṇapriyā
I meditate on the one who has the brilliance of the rising sun, with four arms and three eyes.
लिङ्गगीति लिङ्गभवा लिङ्गमाला लिङ्गप्रिया । लिङ्गाभिधायिनी लिङ्गा लिङ्गनामसदानन्दा ॥ ६ ॥
lōlā lakārā lōmēśā lōlajihvā lajjāvatī
I worship Shiva, who holds the nooses, goads, and arrows.
लिङ्गामृतप्रीता लिङ्गार्चनप्रीता लिङ्गपूज्या । लिङ्गरूपा लिङ्गस्था च लिङ्गालिङ्गनतत्परा ॥ ७ ॥
lakṣyā lākṣyā lakṣaratā lakārākṣarabhūṣitā
Now the hymn –
लतापूजनरता च लतासाधकतुष्टिदा । लतापूजकरक्षिणी लतासाधनसिद्धिदा ॥ ८ ॥
lōlalayātmikā līlā līlāvatī ca lāṅgalī
Lalita, Lakshmi, with playful eyes,
लतागृहनिवासिनी लतापूज्या लताराध्या । लतापुष्पा लतारता लताधारा लतामयी ॥ ९ ॥
lāvaṇyāmr̥tasārā ca lāvaṇyāmr̥tadīrghikā
Lakshmana, worshipped by Lakshmana,
लतास्पर्शनसन्तुष्टा लताऽऽलिङ्गनहर्षिता । लताविद्या लतासारा लताऽऽचारा लतानिधी ॥ १० ॥
lajjā lajjāmatī lajjā lalanā lalanapriyā
The protector of Lakshmana's life,
लवङ्गपुष्पसन्तुष्टा लवङ्गलतामध्यस्था । लवङ्गलतिकारूपा लवङ्गहोमसन्तुष्टा ॥ ११ ॥
lavaṇā lavalī lasā lākṣakī lubdhā lālasā
Lakini, dear to Lakshmana,
लकाराक्षारपूजिता च लकारवर्णोद्भवा । लकारवर्णभूषिता लकारवर्णरुचिरा ॥ १२ ॥
lōkamātā lōkapūjyā lōkajananī lōlupā
Restless, the one who has the form of letters,
लकारबीजोद्भवा तथा लकाराक्षरस्थिता । लकारबीजनिलया लकारबीजसर्वस्वा ॥ १३ ॥
lōhitā lōhitākṣī ca liṅgākhyā caiva liṅgēśī
With a shy tongue, modest and bashful,
लकारवर्णसर्वाङ्गी लक्ष्यछेदनतत्परा । लक्ष्यधरा लक्ष्यघूर्णा लक्षजापेनसिद्धिदा ॥ १४ ॥
liṅgagīti liṅgabhavā liṅgamālā liṅgapriyā
Targeted, aimed, adorned with letters,
लक्षकोटिरूपधरा लक्षलीलाकलालया । लोकपालेनार्चिता च लाक्षारागविलेपना ॥ १५ ॥
liṅgābhidhāyinī liṅgā liṅganāmasadānandā
With a playful essence, a divine play,
लोकातीता लोपामुद्रा लज्जाबीजस्वरूपिणी । लज्जाहीना लज्जामयी लोकयात्राविधायिनी ॥ १६ ॥
liṅgāmr̥taprītā liṅgārcanaprītā liṅgapūjyā
Charming and the essence of nectar,
लास्यप्रिया लयकरी लोकलया लम्बोदरी । लघिमादिसिद्धिदात्री लावण्यनिधिदायिनी ।
liṅgarūpā liṅgasthā ca liṅgāliṅganatatparā
Charming and with a long-lasting nectar,
लकारवर्णग्रथिता लम्बीजा ललिताम्बिका ॥ १७ ॥
latāpūjanaratā ca latāsādhakatuṣṭidā
Modesty, the one with modest wisdom,
फलश्रुतिः –
latāpūjakarakṣiṇī latāsādhanasiddhidā
A young maiden, beloved of maidens,
इति ते कथितं देवि गुह्याद्गुह्यतरं परम् । प्रातःकाले च मध्याह्ने सायाह्ने च सदा निशि ।
latāgr̥hanivāsinī latāpūjyā latārādhyā
Salt, sweet, and graceful,
यः पठेत् साधकश्रेष्ठो त्रैलोक्यविजयी भवेत् ॥ १ ॥
latāpuṣpā latāratā latādhārā latāmayī
The mother of the world, revered by all,
सर्वपापविनिर्ममुक्तः स याति ललितापदम् ।
latāsparśanasantuṣṭā latā:':'liṅganaharṣitā
The mother of the world, the one who gives birth,
शून्यागारे शिवारण्ये शिवदेवालये तथा ॥ २ ॥
latāvidyā latāsārā latā:':'cārā latānidhī
Red, with red eyes,
शून्यदेशे तडागे च नदीतीरे चतुष्पथे ।
lavaṅgapuṣpasantuṣṭā lavaṅgalatāmadhyasthā
Also known as the Lord of the Lingam,
एकलिङ्गे ऋतुस्नातागेहे वेश्यागृहे तथा ॥ ३ ॥
lavaṅgalatikārūpā lavaṅgahōmasantuṣṭā
The song of the Lingam, the essence of the Lingam,
पठेदष्टोत्तरशतनामानि सर्वसिद्धये ।
lakārākṣārapūjitā ca lakāravarṇōdbhavā
The garland of the Lingam, dear to the Lingam,
साधको वाञ्छां यत्कुर्यात् तत्तथैव भविष्यति ॥ ४ ॥
lakāravarṇabhūṣitā lakāravarṇarucirā
The one who names the Lingam,
ब्रह्माण्डगोलके याश्च याः काश्चिज्जगतीतले ।
lakārabījōdbhavā tathā lakārākṣarasthitā
The Lingam, always blissful,
समस्ताः सिद्धयो देवि करामलकवत्सदा ॥ ५ ॥
lakārabījanilayā lakārabījasarvasvā
Pleased by the nectar of the Lingam,
साधकस्मृतिमात्रेण यावन्त्यः सन्ति सिद्धयः ।
lakāravarṇasarvāṅgī lakṣyachēdanatatparā
Pleased by the worship of the Lingam,
स्वयमायान्ति पुरतो जपादीनां तु का कथा ॥ ६ ॥
lakṣyadharā lakṣyaghūrṇā lakṣajāpēnasiddhidā
Worthy of reverence,
अयुतावर्तनाद्देवि पुरश्चर्याऽस्य गीयते ।
lakṣakōṭirūpadharā lakṣalīlākalālayā
The form of the Lingam,
पुरश्चर्यायुतः स्तोत्रः सर्वकर्मफलप्रदः ॥ ७ ॥
lōkapālēnārcitā ca lākṣārāgavilēpanā
Residing in the Lingam,
सहस्रं च पठेद्यस्तु मासार्धं साधकोत्तमः ।
lōkātītā lōpāmudrā lajjābījasvarūpiṇī
Eagerly embracing the Lingam.
दासीभूतं जगत्सर्वं मासार्धाद्भवति ध्रुवम् ॥ ८ ॥
lajjāhīnā lajjāmayī lōkayātrāvidhāyinī
Engaged in the worship of vines, bestowing satisfaction to those who practice with them,
नित्यं प्रतिनाम्ना हुत्वा पलाशकुसुमैर्नरः ।
lāsyapriyā layakarī lōkalayā lambōdarī
The protector of those who worship vines, granting success in vine-related endeavors.
भूलोकस्थाः सर्वकन्याः सर्वलोकस्थितास्तथा ॥ ९ ॥
laghimādisiddhidātrī lāvaṇyanidhidāyinī
Residing in the abode of vines, worthy of worship, revered by all,
पातालस्थाः सर्वकन्याः नागकन्याः यक्षकन्याः ।
lakāravarṇagrathitā lambījā lalitāmbikā
Vine flowers, vine-like, the essence of vines, embodying the nature of vines.
वशीकुर्यान्मण्डलार्धात्संशयो नात्र विद्यते ॥ १० ॥
phalaśrutiḥ – iti tē kathitaṁ dēvi guhyādguhyataraṁ param
Satisfied by the touch of vines, rejoicing in the divine form of vines,
अश्वत्थमूले पठेत् शतवारं ध्यानपूर्वकम् ।
prātaḥkālē ca madhyāhnē sāyāhnē ca sadā niśi
The knowledge of vines, the essence of vines, the charm of vines, a treasure of vines.
तत् क्षणाद्व्याधिनाशश्च भवेद्देवि न संशयः ॥ ११ ॥
yaḥ paṭhēt sādhakaśrēṣṭhō trailōkyavijayī bhavēt
Content with the flowers of clove, situated in the midst of clove vines,
शून्यागारे पठेत् स्तोत्रं सहस्रं ध्यानपूर्वकम् ।
sarvapāpavinirmamuktaḥ sa yāti lalitāpadam
Manifesting the form of clove vines, satisfied by the offerings of clove.
लक्ष्मी प्रसीदति ध्रुवं स त्रैलोक्यं वशिष्यति ॥ १२ ॥
śūnyāgārē śivāraṇyē śivadēvālayē tathā
Worshipped through the letters, arising from the sounds of letters,
प्रेतवस्त्रं भौमे ग्राह्यं रिपुनाम च वेष्टितम् ।
śūnyadēśē taḍāgē ca nadītīrē catuṣpathē
Adorned by the letters, pleasing in the colors of letters,
प्राणप्रतिष्ठां कृत्वा तु पूजां चैव हि कारयेत् ॥ १३ ॥
ēkaliṅgē r̥tusnātāgēhē vēśyāgr̥hē tathā
Born from the seeds of letters, as well as established in the letters,
श्मशाने निखनेद्रात्रौ द्विसहस्रं पठेत्ततः ।
paṭhēdaṣṭōttaraśatanāmāni sarvasiddhayē
Residing in the seeds of letters, the essence of all seeds of letters,
जिह्वास्तम्भनमाप्नोति सद्यो मूकत्वमाप्नुयात् ॥ १४ ॥
sādhakō vāñchāṁ yatkuryāt tattathaiva bhaviṣyati
The all-encompassing form of letters, eager to cut through the target,
श्मशाने च पठेत् स्तोत्रं अयुतार्धं सुबुद्धिमान् ।
brahmāṇḍagōlakē yāśca yāḥ kāścijjagatītalē
The bearer of the target, shaking the target, granting success in the recitation of the target.
शत्रुक्षयो भवेत् सद्यो नान्यथा मम भाषितम् ॥ १५ ॥
samastāḥ siddhayō dēvi karāmalakavatsadā
The form of millions of targets, residing in the playful arts of the target.
प्रेतवस्त्रं शनौ ग्राह्यं प्रतिनाम्ना सम्पुटितम् ।
sādhakasmr̥timātrēṇa yāvantyaḥ santi siddhayaḥ
Worshipped by the guardians of the world, adorned with the red dye of lac,
शत्रुनाम लिखित्वा च प्राणप्रतिष्ठां कारयेत् ॥ १६ ॥
svayamāyānti puratō japādīnāṁ tu kā kathā
Transcending the world, the seal of Lopamudra, embodying the essence of modesty.
ततः ललितां सम्पूज्य कृष्णधत्तूरपुष्पकैः ।
ayutāvartanāddēvi puraścaryā:'sya gīyatē
Without shame, embodying modesty, guiding the journey of the world,
श्मशाने निखनेद्रात्रौ शतवारं पठेत् स्तोत्रम् ॥ १७ ॥
puraścaryāyutaḥ stōtraḥ sarvakarmaphalapradaḥ
Beloved of dance, the creator of rhythm, with a large belly in the world.
ततो मृत्युमवाप्नोति देवराजसमोऽपि सः ।
sahasraṁ ca paṭhēdyastu māsārdhaṁ sādhakōttamaḥ
Granting the powers of lightness and other accomplishments, bestowing the treasure of beauty,
श्मशानाङ्गारमादाय मङ्गले शनिवारे वा ॥ १८ ॥
dāsībhūtaṁ jagatsarvaṁ māsārdhādbhavati dhruvam
Written in the letters and syllables, the graceful goddess Lalita.
प्रेतवस्त्रेण संवेष्ट्य बध्नीयात् प्रेतरज्जुना ।
nityaṁ pratināmnā hutvā palāśakusumairnaraḥ
The fruit of this teaching –
दशाभिमन्त्रितं कृत्वा खनेद्वैरिवेश्मनि ॥ १९ ॥
bhūlōkasthāḥ sarvakanyāḥ sarvalōkasthitāstathā
Thus, O Goddess, it has been told to you, more secret than the secret.
सप्तरात्रान्तरे तस्योच्चाटनं भ्रामणं भवेत् ।
pātālasthāḥ sarvakanyāḥ nāgakanyāḥ yakṣakanyāḥ
In the morning, at noon, in the evening, and always at night,
कुमारीं पूजयित्वा तु यः पठेद्भक्तितत्परः ॥ २० ॥
vaśīkuryānmaṇḍalārdhātsaṁśayō nātra vidyatē
Whoever reads this, the best of practitioners, will conquer the three worlds.
न किञ्चिद्दुर्लभं तस्य दिवि वा भुवि मोदते ।
aśvatthamūlē paṭhēt śatavāraṁ dhyānapūrvakam
Free from all sins, they will attain the feet of Lalita,
दुर्भिक्षे राजपीडायां सङ्ग्रामे वैरिमध्यके ॥ २१ ॥
tat kṣaṇādvyādhināśaśca bhavēddēvi na saṁśayaḥ
In the empty abode, in the sacred forest, in the temple of Shiva,
यत्र यत्र भयं प्राप्तः सर्वत्र प्रपठेन्नरः ।
śūnyāgārē paṭhēt stōtraṁ sahasraṁ dhyānapūrvakam
In the empty place, by the pond, on the riverbank, at the crossroads,
तत्र तत्राभयं तस्य भवत्येव न संशयः ॥ २२ ॥
lakṣmī prasīdati dhruvaṁ sa trailōkyaṁ vaśiṣyati
In solitary places, in the house of the season, in the house of courtesans,
वामपार्श्वे समानीय शोधितां वरकामिनीम् ।
prētavastraṁ bhaumē grāhyaṁ ripunāma ca vēṣṭitam
One should recite the one hundred and eight names for all accomplishments.
जपं कृत्वा पठेद्यस्तु तस्य सिद्धिः करे स्थिता ॥ २३ ॥
prāṇapratiṣṭhāṁ kr̥tvā tu pūjāṁ caiva hi kārayēt
Whatever the practitioner desires, that will indeed come to pass.
दरिद्रस्तु चतुर्दश्यां कामिनीसङ्गमैः सह ।
śmaśānē nikhanēdrātrau dvisahasraṁ paṭhēttataḥ
In the cosmic sphere, all beings that exist on this earthly plane,
अष्टवारं पठेद्यस्तु कुबेरसदृशो भवेत् ॥ २४ ॥
jihvāstambhanamāpnōti sadyō mūkatvamāpnuyāt
O Goddess, all the accomplished ones are eternally present like the sun.
श्रीललितां महादेवी नित्यं सम्पूज्य मानवः ।
śmaśānē ca paṭhēt stōtraṁ ayutārdhaṁ subuddhimān
By merely remembering the practitioners, all the siddhis are attained,
प्रतिनाम्ना जुहुयात्स धनराशिमवाप्नुयात् ॥ २५ ॥
śatrukṣayō bhavēt sadyō nānyathā mama bhāṣitam
What is the story of those who chant and meditate before them?
नवनीतं चाभिमन्त्र्य स्त्रीभ्यो दद्यान्महेश्वरि ।
prētavastraṁ śanau grāhyaṁ pratināmnā sampuṭitam
O Goddess, the chant of the hundred thousand is glorified,
वन्ध्यां पुत्रप्रदं देवि नात्र कार्या विचारणा ॥ २६ ॥
śatrunāma likhitvā ca prāṇapratiṣṭhāṁ kārayēt
The hymn of the hundred thousand brings forth the fruits of all actions.
कण्ठे वा वामबाहौ वा योनौ वा धारणाच्छिवे ।
tataḥ lalitāṁ sampūjya kr̥ṣṇadhattūrapuṣpakaiḥ
Whoever recites it a thousand times for a month and a half,
बहुपुत्रवती नारी सुभगा जायते ध्रुवम् ॥ २७ ॥
śmaśānē nikhanēdrātrau śatavāraṁ paṭhēt stōtram
Surely, the entire world becomes his servant after that period.
उग्र उग्रं महदुग्रं स्तवमिदं ललितायाः ।
tatō mr̥tyumavāpnōti dēvarājasamō:'pi saḥ
Daily, by offering oblations with the flowers of the Palasha tree,
सुविनीताय शान्ताय दान्तायातिगुणाय च ॥ २८ ॥
śmaśānāṅgāramādāya maṅgalē śanivārē vā
All the maidens of the earth and those in all realms are present as well.
भक्ताय ज्येष्ठपुत्राय गुरुभक्तिपराय च ।
prētavastrēṇa saṁvēṣṭya badhnīyāt prētarajjunā
The maidens of the netherworld, the serpent maidens, and the yaksha maidens,
भक्तभक्ताय योग्याय भक्तिशक्तिपराय च ॥ २९ ॥
daśābhimantritaṁ kr̥tvā khanēdvairivēśmani
Will be subdued by him who is in the half of the circle; there is no doubt about it.
वेश्यापूजनयुक्ताय कुमारीपूजकाय च ।
saptarātrāntarē tasyōccāṭanaṁ bhrāmaṇaṁ bhavēt
At the root of the sacred fig tree, if one reads it a hundred times with meditation,
दुर्गाभक्ताय शैवाय कामेश्वरप्रजापिने ॥ ३० ॥
kumārīṁ pūjayitvā tu yaḥ paṭhēdbhaktitatparaḥ
Without a doubt, that moment, the afflictions will cease, O Goddess.
अद्वैतभावयुक्ताय शक्तिभक्तिपराय च ।
na kiñciddurlabhaṁ tasya divi vā bhuvi mōdatē
In the empty abode, if one reads the thousand hymns with meditation,
प्रदेयं शतनामाख्यं स्वयं ललिताज्ञया ॥ ३१ ॥
durbhikṣē rājapīḍāyāṁ saṅgrāmē vairimadhyakē
Lakshmi, please be gracious; surely, the three worlds will be subdued.
खलाय परतन्त्राय परनिन्दापराय च ।
yatra yatra bhayaṁ prāptaḥ sarvatra prapaṭhēnnaraḥ
The cloth of the dead is to be taken, wrapped in the name of the enemy.
भ्रष्टाय दुष्टतत्त्वाय परीवादपराय च ॥ ३२ ॥
tatra tatrābhayaṁ tasya bhavatyēva na saṁśayaḥ
Having established the life force, one should perform the worship.
शिवाभक्ताय दुष्टाय परदाररताय च ।
vāmapārśvē samānīya śōdhitāṁ varakāminīm
In the cremation ground, on the night of the new moon, one should recite it two thousand times.
वेश्यास्त्रीनिन्दकाय च पञ्चमकारनिन्दके ॥ ३३ ॥
japaṁ kr̥tvā paṭhēdyastu tasya siddhiḥ karē sthitā
One obtains the power to immobilize the tongue and instantly becomes mute.
न स्तोत्रं दर्शयेद्देवी मम हत्याकरो भवेत् ।
daridrastu caturdaśyāṁ kāminīsaṅgamaiḥ saha
In the cremation ground, one who recites the hymn, even one and a half times, is wise.
तस्मान्न दापयेद्देवी मनसा कर्मणा गिरा ॥ ३४ ॥
aṣṭavāraṁ paṭhēdyastu kubērasadr̥śō bhavēt
The destruction of enemies will happen immediately; otherwise, this is my statement.
अन्यथा कुरुते यस्तु स क्षीणायुर्भवेद्ध्रुवम् ।
śrīlalitāṁ mahādēvī nityaṁ sampūjya mānavaḥ
The cloth of the dead is to be taken on Saturday, wrapped with the name of the enemy.
पुत्रहारी च स्त्रीहारी राज्यहारी भवेद्ध्रुवम् ॥ ३५ ॥
pratināmnā juhuyātsa dhanarāśimavāpnuyāt
By writing the name of the enemy, one should establish the life force.
मन्त्रक्षोभश्च जायते तस्य मृत्युर्भविष्यति ।
navanītaṁ cābhimantrya strībhyō dadyānmahēśvari
Then, worshipping Lalita with the flowers of Krishna,
क्रमदीक्षायुतानां च सिद्धिर्भवति नान्यथा ॥ ३६ ॥
vandhyāṁ putrapradaṁ dēvi nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
In the cremation ground, on the night of the new moon, one should recite the hymn a hundred times.
क्रमदीक्षायुतो देवी क्रमाद्राज्यमवाप्नुयात् ।
kaṇṭhē vā vāmabāhau vā yōnau vā dhāraṇācchivē
Then, one attains death, equal to that of the king of the gods.
क्रमदीक्षासमायुक्तः कल्पोक्तसिद्धिभाग्भवेत् ॥ ३७ ॥
bahuputravatī nārī subhagā jāyatē dhruvam
Taking the ashes from the cremation ground, on an auspicious Saturday,
विधेर्लिपिं तु सम्मार्ज्य किङ्करत्वं विसृज्य च ।
ugra ugraṁ mahadugraṁ stavamidaṁ lalitāyāḥ
Wrapping oneself in the cloth of the dead, one should bind it with the rope of the deceased.
सर्वसिद्धिमवाप्नोति नात्र कार्या विचारणा ॥ ३८ ॥
suvinītāya śāntāya dāntāyātiguṇāya ca
Having performed the ten mantras, one should dig at the enemy's place.
क्रमदीक्षायुतो देवी मम समो न संशयः ।
bhaktāya jyēṣṭhaputrāya gurubhaktiparāya ca
After seven nights, the one who performs the ritual will attain liberation.
गोपनीयं गोपनीयं गोपनीयं सदाऽनघे ॥ ३९ ॥
bhaktabhaktāya yōgyāya bhaktiśaktiparāya ca
By worshipping the maiden and reading with devotion,
स दीक्षितः सुखी साधुः सत्यवादी जितेन्द्रयः ।
vēśyāpūjanayuktāya kumārīpūjakāya ca
nothing difficult will be unattainable for him, either in heaven or on earth.
स वेदवक्ता स्वाध्यायी सर्वानन्दपरायणः ॥ ४० ॥
durgābhaktāya śaivāya kāmēśvaraprajāpinē
In times of famine or under the oppression of kings,
स्वस्मिन् ललितां सम्भाव्य पूजयेज्जगदम्बिकाम् ।
advaitabhāvayuktāya śaktibhaktiparāya ca
in the midst of battles or enmity,
त्रैलोक्यविजयी भूयान्नात्र कार्या विचारणा ॥ ४१ ॥
pradēyaṁ śatanāmākhyaṁ svayaṁ lalitājñayā
wherever fear arises, let a person recite this everywhere.
गुरुरूपं शिवं ध्यात्वा शिवरूपं गुरुं स्मरेत् ।
khalāya paratantrāya paranindāparāya ca
There, there will surely be safety for him, without a doubt.
सदाशिवः स एव स्यान्नात्र कार्या विचारणा ॥ ४२ ॥
bhraṣṭāya duṣṭatattvāya parīvādaparāya ca
By bringing together a beautiful maiden on the left side,
इति श्रीकौलिकार्णवे श्रीभैरवीसंवादे षट्कर्मसिद्धदायक श्रीमल्ललिताया लकारादिशतनामस्तोत्रम् ।
śivābhaktāya duṣṭāya paradāraratāya ca
and performing the chant, he will achieve success.
Lalitha - ललिता
vēśyāstrīnindakāya ca pañcamakāranindakē
The poor man, on the fourteenth day,
Brahma Kruta Pitru Stotram – पितृ स्तोत्रम् – ३ (ब्रह्म कृतम्)
na stōtraṁ darśayēddēvī mama hatyākarō bhavēt
who recites this with the union of the beloved,
Sri Vipareeta Pratyangira Mala Mantram – श्री विपरीत प्रत्यङ्गिरा मालामन्त्रः
tasmānna dāpayēddēvī manasā karmaṇā girā
will become like Kubera, if he recites it eight times.
