Sri Lalithamba Parameshwara Stava
The Sri Lalithamba Parameshwara Stava praises Lalithamba and seeks her divine blessings for spiritual upliftment and protection.
श्री ललिता स्तोत्राणि
kalayatu kalyāṇatatiṁ kamalāsakhapadmayōnimukhavandyaḥ
May the auspiciousness of the divine be manifest.
कलयतु कल्याणततिं
karimukhaṣaṇmukhayuktaḥ kāmēśastripurasundarīnāthaḥ
Worshipped by the lotus-faced, the friend of the lotus.
कमलासखपद्मयोनिमुखवन्द्यः । करिमुखषण्मुखयुक्तः
ēkaivāhaṁ jagatī- -tyāyōdhanamadhya abravīdyādau
With the face of a lion and six faces,
कामेशस्त्रिपुरसुन्दरीनाथः ॥ १ ॥
śumbhaṁ prati sā pāyā- -dādyā śaktiḥ kr̥pāpayōrāśiḥ
He is the lord of the beautiful goddess of the three cities.
एकैवाहं जगती-
īṣaditi manyatē ya- -tpadabhaktaḥ śambhuviṣṇumukhapadavīḥ
I alone am the one who speaks amidst the world.
-त्यायोधनमध्य अब्रवीद्यादौ । शुम्भं प्रति सा पाया-
sā mē niścalaviratiṁ dadyādviṣayēṣu viṣa ivātyantam
In the beginning, I spoke to Shumbha.
-दाद्या शक्तिः कृपापयोराशिः ॥ २ ॥
labhatē parātmavidyāṁ sudr̥ḍhāmēvāśu yatpadāsaktaḥ
The power that protects is a great ocean of compassion.
ईषदिति मन्यते य-
tāṁ naumi bōdharūpā- -mādyāṁ vidyāṁ śivājamukhasēvyām
He who considers himself a devotee of that divine foot,
-त्पदभक्तः शम्भुविष्णुमुखपदवीः । सा मे निश्चलविरतिं
hrīmānbhavētsurēśa- -stadgururapi yatpadābjabhaktasya
Shambhu and Vishnu are his paths.
दद्याद्विषयेषु विष इवात्यन्तम् ॥ ३ ॥
lakṣmīṁ giraṁ ca dr̥ṣṭvā sā māmavyāttayōḥ pradānēna
May that unwavering renunciation be granted to me.
लभते परात्मविद्यां
hasati vidhuṁ hāsēna pravālamapi pañcaśākhamārdavataḥ
In the objects of desire, like poison,
सुदृढामेवाशु यत्पदासक्तः । तां नौमि बोधरूपा-
adharēṇa bimbamavyā- -tsā mā sōmārdhamūrdhapuṇyatatiḥ
One attains supreme knowledge.
-माद्यां विद्यां शिवाजमुखसेव्याम् ॥ ४ ॥
sakalāmnāyaśirōbhi- -stātparyēṇaiva gīyatē rūpam
Firmly, one becomes attached to the feet of the divine.
ह्रीमान्भवेत्सुरेश-
yasyāḥ sāvatu satataṁ gaṅgādharapūrvapuṇyaparipāṭhī
I bow to that knowledge which is in the form of the divine.
-स्तद्गुरुरपि यत्पदाब्जभक्तस्य । लक्ष्मीं गिरं च दृष्ट्वा
kalimalanivāraṇavrata- -kr̥tadīkṣaḥ kālasarvagarvaharaḥ
May the lord of the gods become prosperous.
सा मामव्यात्तयोः प्रदानेन ॥ ५ ॥
karaṇavaśīkaraṇapaṭu- -prābhavadaḥ pātu pārvatīnāthaḥ
That guru, who is devoted to the lotus feet,
हसति विधुं हासेन
haratu tamō hārdaṁ mē hālāhalarājamānagaladēśaḥ
Seeing Lakshmi and the sacred sounds,
प्रवालमपि पञ्चशाखमार्दवतः । अधरेण बिम्बमव्या-
haṁsamanupratipādyaḥ parahaṁsārādhyapādapāthōjaḥ
She smiles at me with her grace.
-त्सा मा सोमार्धमूर्धपुण्यततिः ॥ ६ ॥
lalanāḥ surēśvarāṇāṁ yatpādapāthōjamarcayanti mudā
Even the moon smiles with laughter.
सकलाम्नायशिरोभि-
sā mē manasi vihāraṁ racayatu rākēndugarvaharavadanā
The tender branches of the five trees,
-स्तात्पर्येणैव गीयते रूपम् । यस्याः सावतु सततं
hrīmantaḥ kalayati yō mūlaṁ mūlaṁ samastalakṣmīnām
May the moon's half be the source of my fortune.
गङ्गाधरपूर्वपुण्यपरिपाठी ॥ ७ ॥
taṁ cakravartinō:'pi praṇamanti ca yānti tasya bhr̥tyatvam
The essence of all scriptures is sung in that form,
कलिमलनिवारणव्रत-
sadanaṁ prabhavati vācāṁ yanmūrtidhyānatō hi mūkō:'pi
May she, who is always protected,
-कृतदीक्षः कालसर्वगर्वहरः । करणवशीकरणपटु-
sarasāṁ sālaṅkārāṁ sā mē vācaṁ dadātu śivamahiṣī
Be the one who purifies the sins of the world.
-प्राभवदः पातु पार्वतीनाथः ॥ ८ ॥
karakalitapāśasr̥ṇiśara- -śarāsanaḥ kāmadhukpraṇamrāṇām
The vow to remove impurities,
हरतु तमो हार्दं मे
kāmēśvarīhr̥dambuja- -bhānuḥ pāyādyuvā kō:'pi
He who is initiated in this is the destroyer of all pride.
हालाहलराजमानगलदेशः । हंसमनुप्रतिपाद्यः
labdhvā svayaṁ pumarthāṁ- -ścaturaḥ kiñcātmabhaktavaryēbhyaḥ
May the Lord of Parvati, who is skilled in controlling the senses, protect me.
परहंसाराध्यपादपाथोजः ॥ ९ ॥
dadyādyatpadabhaktaḥ sā mayi karuṇāṁ karōtu kāmēśī
May He remove the darkness from my heart.
ललनाः सुरेश्वराणां
hrīṅkārajapaparāṇāṁ jīvanmuktiṁ ca bhuktiṁ ca
He is the king of poison, the abode of the great ocean.
यत्पादपाथोजमर्चयन्ति मुदा । सा मे मनसि विहारं
yā pradadātyacirāttāṁ naumi śrīcakrarājakr̥tavasatim
He is the one who guides the swan.
रचयतु राकेन्दुगर्वहरवदना ॥ १० ॥
śrīmātr̥padapayōjā- -saktasvāntēna kēnacidyatinā
He is worshipped by the supreme swans.
ह्रीमन्तः कलयति यो
racitā stutiriyamavanau paṭhatāṁ bhaktyā dadāti śubhapaṅktim
Those who joyfully worship His lotus feet,
मूलं मूलं समस्तलक्ष्मीनाम् । तं चक्रवर्तिनोऽपि
iti śr̥ṅgēri śrījagadguru śrīsaccidānandaśivābhinavanr̥siṁhabhāratīsvāmibhiḥ viracitaḥ śrī lalitāmbā paramēśvara stavaḥ
May that joy reside in my heart.
