Sri Ravi Stotram (Samba Purane)
The Sri Ravi Stotram praises Surya and seeks his blessings for prosperity and well-being.
त्वं देव ऋषिकर्ता च प्रकृतिः पुरुषः प्रभुः । छाया सञ्ज्ञा प्रतिष्ठापि निरालम्बो निराश्रयः ॥ १ ॥
tvaṁ dēva r̥ṣikartā ca prakr̥tiḥ puruṣaḥ prabhuḥ
You are the divine sage, the creator, nature, the supreme being.
आश्रयः सर्वभूतानां नमस्तेऽस्तु सदा मम । त्वं देव सर्वतश्चक्षुः सर्वतः सर्वदा गतिः ॥ २ ॥
chāyā sañjñā pratiṣṭhāpi nirālambō nirāśrayaḥ
You are the shadow, the name, the established, without support, without refuge.
सर्वदः सर्वदा सर्वः सर्वसेव्यस्त्वमार्तिहा । त्वं देव ध्यानिनां ध्यानम् योगिनां योग उत्तमः ॥ ३ ॥
āśrayaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ namastē:'stu sadā mama
You are the shelter of all beings; I bow to you always.
त्वं भाषाफलदः सर्वः सद्यः पापहरो विभुः । सर्वार्तिनाशं नो नाशीकरणं करुणा विभुः ॥ ४ ॥
tvaṁ dēva sarvataścakṣuḥ sarvataḥ sarvadā gatiḥ
You are the divine eye, the path everywhere, always.
दयाशक्तिः क्षमावासः सघृणिर्घृणिमूर्तिमान् । त्वं देव सृष्टिसंहारस्थितिरूपः सुराधिपः ॥ ५ ॥
sarvadaḥ sarvadā sarvaḥ sarvasēvyastvamārtihā
You are always everything, always to be served, the remover of suffering.
बकः शोषो वृकोदाहस्तुषारो दहनात्मकः । प्रणतार्तिहरो योगी योगमूर्ते नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ६ ॥
tvaṁ dēva dhyānināṁ dhyānam yōgināṁ yōga uttamaḥ
You are the meditation of the meditative, the supreme yoga of the yogis.
त्वं देव हृदयानन्द शिरोरत्नप्रभामणिः । बोधकः पाठको ध्यायी ग्राहको ग्रहणात्मकः ॥ ७ ॥
tvaṁ bhāṣāphaladaḥ sarvaḥ sadyaḥ pāpaharō vibhuḥ
You are the fruit of speech, the omnipresent, the immediate remover of sins.
त्वं देव नियमो न्यायी न्यायको न्यायवर्धनः । अनित्यो नियतो नित्यो न्यायमूर्ते नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ८ ॥
sarvārtināśaṁ nō nāśīkaraṇaṁ karuṇā vibhuḥ
You are the end of all suffering; you do not cause destruction, O compassionate one.
त्वं देव त्रायसे प्राप्तान् पालयस्यर्पवस्थितान् । ऊर्द्वत्राणार्दितान् लोकान् लोकचक्षुर्नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ९ ॥
dayāśaktiḥ kṣamāvāsaḥ saghr̥ṇirghr̥ṇimūrtimān
You are the power of mercy, the abode of forgiveness, the embodiment of compassion.
दमनोऽसि त्वं दुर्दान्तः साध्यानां चैव साधकः । बन्धुः स्वबन्धुहीनानां नमस्ते बन्धुरूपिणे ॥ १० ॥
tvaṁ dēva sr̥ṣṭisaṁhārasthitirūpaḥ surādhipaḥ
You are the divine form of creation, preservation, and destruction, the lord of the gods.
इति श्रीसाम्बपुराणे त्रिचत्वारिंशोऽध्याये रवि स्तोत्रम् ॥
bakaḥ śōṣō vr̥kōdāhastuṣārō dahanātmakaḥ
You are the one who dries up the swamp, the wolf, the one who burns.
Surya - सूर्य
praṇatārtiharō yōgī yōgamūrtē namō:'stu tē
You are the remover of the distressed, O yogi; I bow to your form of yoga.
Sri Aditya (Surya) Dwadasa Namavali – श्री आदित्य द्वादशनामावली
tvaṁ dēva hr̥dayānanda śirōratnaprabhāmaṇiḥ
You are the jewel of bliss in the heart, the radiant gem atop the head.
Sri Surya Kavacham 2 (Trilokya Mangalam) – श्री सूर्य कवचम् – २ (त्रैलोक्यमङ्गलम्)
bōdhakaḥ pāṭhakō dhyāyī grāhakō grahaṇātmakaḥ
You are the teacher, the reader, the meditator, the one who receives and the essence of reception.
