Sri Varada Ganesha Ashtottara Shatanama Stotram
The stotram consists of 108 names of Ganesha, each highlighting his divine qualities and powers, aimed at invoking his blessings.
श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
gaṇēśō vighnarājaśca vighnahartā gaṇādhipaḥ
O Lord Ganesha, the king of obstacles, the remover of difficulties, the leader of the Ganas,
गणेशो विघ्नराजश्च विघ्नहर्ता गणाधिपः ।
lambōdarō vakratuṇḍō vikaṭō gaṇanāyakaḥ
the one with a large belly, the curved trunk, the fierce one, the chief of the Ganas,
लम्बोदरो वक्रतुण्डो विकटो गणनायकः ॥ १ ॥
gajāsyaḥ siddhidātā ca kharvō mūṣakavāhanaḥ
the one with an elephant face, the giver of success, the one with a mouse as a vehicle,
गजास्यः सिद्धिदाता च खर्वो मूषकवाहनः ।
mūṣakō gaṇarājaśca śailajānandadāyakaḥ
the mouse, the king of Ganas, the giver of joy to the mountains,
मूषको गणराजश्च शैलजानन्ददायकः ॥ २ ॥
guhāgrajō mahātējāḥ kubjō bhaktapriyaḥ prabhuḥ
the elder brother of Guhā, the one of great splendor, the hunchbacked one, the beloved of devotees,
गुहाग्रजो महातेजाः कुब्जो भक्तप्रियः प्रभुः ।
sindūrābhō gaṇādhyakṣastrinētrō dhanadāyakaḥ
the one with a vermilion hue, the chief of Ganas, the three-eyed one, the giver of wealth,
सिन्दूराभो गणाध्यक्षस्त्रिनेत्रो धनदायकः ॥ ३ ॥
vāmanaḥ śūrpakarṇaśca dhūmraḥ śaṅkaranandanaḥ
the dwarf, the one with large ears, the smoky one, the son of Shankara,
वामनः शूर्पकर्णश्च धूम्रः शङ्करनन्दनः ।
sarvārtināśakō vijñaḥ kapilō mōdakapriyaḥ
the one who removes all troubles, the knowledgeable one, the one who is fond of modakas,
सर्वार्तिनाशको विज्ञः कपिलो मोदकप्रियः ॥ ४ ॥
saṅkaṣṭanāśanō dēvaḥ surāsuranamaskr̥taḥ
the deity who removes obstacles, revered by gods and demons alike,
सङ्कष्टनाशनो देवः सुरासुरनमस्कृतः ।
umāsutaḥ kr̥pāluśca sarvajñaḥ priyadarśanaḥ
the son of Uma, the compassionate one, the all-knowing, the one with a pleasing appearance,
उमासुतः कृपालुश्च सर्वज्ञः प्रियदर्शनः ॥ ५ ॥
hērambō raktanētraśca sthūlamūrtiḥ pratāpavān
the one with red eyes, the one with a large form, the one of great glory,
हेरम्बो रक्तनेत्रश्च स्थूलमूर्तिः प्रतापवान् ।
sukhadaḥ kāryakartā ca buddhidō vyādhināśakaḥ
the giver of happiness, the doer of tasks, the one who bestows intelligence, the destroyer of diseases,
सुखदः कार्यकर्ता च बुद्धिदो व्याधिनाशकः ॥ ६ ॥
ikṣudaṇḍapriyaḥ śūraḥ kṣamāyuktō:'ghanāśakaḥ
the one fond of sugarcane, the brave one, endowed with patience, the remover of sorrows,
इक्षुदण्डप्रियः शूरः क्षमायुक्तोऽघनाशकः ।
ēkadantō mahōdāraḥ sarvadā gajakarṣakaḥ
the one with a single tusk, the magnanimous one, always the one who lifts elephants,
एकदन्तो महोदारः सर्वदा गजकर्षकः ॥ ७ ॥
vināyakō jagatpūjyaḥ phaladō dīnavatsalaḥ
the remover of obstacles, the one who is worshipped by the world, the giver of fruits, the compassionate one towards the downtrodden.
विनायको जगत्पूज्यः फलदो दीनवत्सलः ।
vidyāpradō mahōtsāhō duḥkhadaurbhāgyanāśakaḥ
Knowledge bestower, great enthusiasm, remover of sorrow and misfortune,
विद्याप्रदो महोत्साहो दुःखदौर्भाग्यनाशकः ॥ ८ ॥
miṣṭapriyō phālacandrō nityasaubhāgyavardhanaḥ
Sweet and beloved like the full moon, ever-increasing fortune,
मिष्टप्रियो फालचन्द्रो नित्यसौभाग्यवर्धनः ।
dānapūrārdragaṇḍaśca aṁśakō vibudhapriyaḥ
Generous, with a tender heart, beloved by the wise,
दानपूरार्द्रगण्डश्च अंशको विबुधप्रियः ॥ ९ ॥
raktāmbaradharaḥ śrēṣṭhaḥ subhagō nāgabhūṣaṇaḥ
Clad in red garments, the best, auspicious, adorned with serpents,
रक्ताम्बरधरः श्रेष्ठः सुभगो नागभूषणः ।
śatrudhvaṁsī caturbāhuḥ saumyō dāridryanāśakaḥ
Destroyer of enemies, four-armed, gentle, remover of poverty,
शत्रुध्वंसी चतुर्बाहुः सौम्यो दारिद्र्यनाशकः ॥ १० ॥
ādipūjyō dayāśīlō raktamuṇḍō mahōdayaḥ
Worthy of worship, compassionate, with a red crown, great in glory,
आदिपूज्यो दयाशीलो रक्तमुण्डो महोदयः ।
sarvagaḥ saukhyakr̥cchuddhaḥ kr̥tyapūjyō budhapriyaḥ
Omnipresent, bestower of happiness, pure, worthy of reverence, beloved by the wise,
सर्वगः सौख्यकृच्छुद्धः कृत्यपूज्यो बुधप्रियः ॥ ११ ॥
sarvadēvamayaḥ śāntō bhuktimuktipradāyakaḥ
All-pervading, peaceful, giver of enjoyment and liberation,
सर्वदेवमयः शान्तो भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदायकः ।
vidyāvāndānaśīlaśca vēdavinmantravitsudhīḥ
Embodiment of all deities, tranquil, grantor of worldly and spiritual rewards,
विद्यावान्दानशीलश्च वेदविन्मन्त्रवित्सुधीः ॥ १२ ॥
avijñātagatirjñānī jñānigamyō munistutaḥ
Possessor of knowledge, skilled in the Vedas and mantras, wise and learned,
अविज्ञातगतिर्ज्ञानी ज्ञानिगम्यो मुनिस्तुतः ।
yōgajñō yōgapūjyaśca phālanētraḥ śivātmajaḥ
The knower of the unknown, the sage praised,
योगज्ञो योगपूज्यश्च फालनेत्रः शिवात्मजः ॥ १३ ॥
sarvamantramayaḥ śrīmān avaśō vaśakārakaḥ
Expert in yoga, worthy of worship in yoga, with a fruit-bearing eye, the son of Shiva,
सर्वमन्त्रमयः श्रीमान् अवशो वशकारकः ।
vighnadhvaṁsī sadā hr̥ṣṭō bhaktānāṁ phaladāyakaḥ
All-mantra-filled, glorious, subservient, capable of control,
विघ्नध्वंसी सदा हृष्टो भक्तानां फलदायकः ॥ १४ ॥
idaṁ stōtraṁ gaṇēśasya paṭhēcca sādaraṁ naraḥ
Always joyful, destroyer of obstacles, bestower of fruits to devotees,
इदं स्तोत्रं गणेशस्य पठेच्च सादरं नरः ।
tasya vāñchitakāmasya siddhirbhavati niścitam
This hymn of Ganesha, when recited with reverence by a person,
तस्य वाञ्छितकामस्य सिद्धिर्भवति निश्चितम् ॥ १५ ॥
iti śrī varadagaṇēśa aṣṭōttaraśatanāma stōtram
Will surely fulfill the desires of that person.
