विनायको विघ्नराजो गौरीपुत्रो गणेश्वरः
vināyakō vighnarājō gaurīputrō gaṇēśvaraḥ
O Lord Ganesha, the king of obstacles, son of Gauri, the Lord of the Ganas.
स्कन्दाग्रजो:'व्ययः पूतो दक्षो:'ध्यक्षो द्विजप्रियः
skandāgrajō:'vyayaḥ pūtō dakṣō:'dhyakṣō dvijapriyaḥ
Elder brother of Skanda, pure, skilled, the overseer, dear to the twice-born.
अग्निगर्वच्छिदिन्द्रश्रीप्रदो वाणीप्रदायकः
agnigarvacchidindraśrīpradō vāṇīpradāyakaḥ
Destroyer of the fire of obstacles, bestower of glory, giver of speech.
सर्वसिद्धिप्रदः शर्वतनयः शर्वरीप्रियः
sarvasiddhipradaḥ śarvatanayaḥ śarvarīpriyaḥ
Bestower of all accomplishments, son of Shiva, beloved of the night.
सर्वात्मकः सृष्टिकर्ता देवानीकार्चितः शिवः
sarvātmakaḥ sr̥ṣṭikartā dēvānīkārcitaḥ śivaḥ
All-pervading, creator of the universe, worshipped by the divine assembly, Shiva.
सिद्धिबुद्धिप्रदः शान्तो ब्रह्मचारी गजाननः
siddhibuddhipradaḥ śāntō brahmacārī gajānanaḥ
Bestower of success and intelligence, peaceful, celibate, with the face of an elephant.
द्वैमातुरो मुनिस्तुत्यो भक्तविघ्नविनाशनः
dvaimāturō munistutyō bhaktavighnavināśanaḥ
Worthy of praise by the two mothers, destroyer of the obstacles of devotees.
एकदन्तश्चतुर्बाहुश्चतुरः शक्तिसम्युतः
ēkadantaścaturbāhuścaturaḥ śaktisamyutaḥ
Single-tusked, four-armed, endowed with powers.
लम्बोदरः शूर्पकर्णो हरिर्ब्रह्मविदुत्तमः
lambōdaraḥ śūrpakarṇō harirbrahmaviduttamaḥ
With a large belly, with ears like winnowing baskets, the best among those who know Brahman.
काव्यो ग्रहपतिः कामी सोमसूर्याग्निलोचनः
kāvyō grahapatiḥ kāmī sōmasūryāgnilōcanaḥ
Poet, lord of the planets, desirous, with eyes like the moon, sun, and fire.
पाशाङ्कुशधरश्चण्डो गुणातीतो निरञ्जनः
pāśāṅkuśadharaścaṇḍō guṇātītō nirañjanaḥ
Holder of the noose and goad, fierce, transcending qualities, untainted.
अकल्मषः स्वयं सिद्धः सिद्धार्चितपदाम्बुजः
akalmaṣaḥ svayaṁ siddhaḥ siddhārcitapadāmbujaḥ
Free from blemish, self-sufficient, worshipped by the accomplished at his lotus feet.
बीजापूरफलासक्तो वरदः शाश्वतः कृती
bījāpūraphalāsaktō varadaḥ śāśvataḥ kr̥tī
Attached to the seed, fruit, and flower, the granter of boons, eternal, and accomplished.
द्विजप्रियो वीतभयो गदी चक्रीक्षुचापधृत्
dvijapriyō vītabhayō gadī cakrīkṣucāpadhr̥t
Beloved of the twice-born, fearless, with a mace, wheel, and sharp sword.
श्रीदो:'ज उत्पलकरः श्रीपतिस्तुतिहर्षितः
śrīdō:'ja utpalakaraḥ śrīpatistutiharṣitaḥ
He who is the giver of joy, the one who brings forth the lotus, praised by the Lord.
कुलाद्रिभेत्ता जटिलश्चन्द्रचूडो:'मरेश्वरः
kulādribhēttā jaṭilaścandracūḍō:'marēśvaraḥ
The one who breaks the mountains of the family, the ascetic with a moon-like crown, is the lord of the dead.
नागयज्ञोपवीती च कलिकल्मषनाशनः
nāgayajñōpavītī ca kalikalmaṣanāśanaḥ
The one who performs the serpent sacrifice and wears the sacred thread, is the destroyer of the impurities of the age.
स्थूलकण्ठः स्वयङ्कर्ता सामघोषप्रियः परः
sthūlakaṇṭhaḥ svayaṅkartā sāmaghōṣapriyaḥ paraḥ
With a thick neck, the creator himself, he is fond of the sound of the Sama Veda.
स्थूलतुण्डो:'ग्रणीर्धीरो वागीशः सिद्धिदायकः
sthūlatuṇḍō:'graṇīrdhīrō vāgīśaḥ siddhidāyakaḥ
With a large trunk, the wise one, the lord of speech, is the bestower of accomplishments.
दूर्वाबिल्वप्रियः कान्तः पापहारी समाहितः
dūrvābilvapriyaḥ kāntaḥ pāpahārī samāhitaḥ
Beloved of the sacred grass and the bilva leaves, he is the remover of sins, focused and composed.
आश्रितश्रीकरः सौम्यो भक्तवाञ्छितदायकः
āśritaśrīkaraḥ saumyō bhaktavāñchitadāyakaḥ
The giver of prosperity to those who take refuge, gentle and serene, is the one who fulfills the desires of his devotees.
शान्तो:'च्युतार्च्यः कैवल्यो सच्चिदानन्दविग्रहः
śāntō:'cyutārcyaḥ kaivalyō saccidānandavigrahaḥ
Calm and unperturbed, he is worshipped in the form of liberation, the embodiment of existence, consciousness, and bliss.
ज्ञानी दयायुतो दान्तो ब्रह्मद्वेषविवर्जितः
jñānī dayāyutō dāntō brahmadvēṣavivarjitaḥ
The knowledgeable one, full of compassion, self-controlled, free from hatred towards the ultimate reality.
प्रमत्तदैत्यभयदो व्यक्तमूर्तिरमूर्तिमान्
pramattadaityabhayadō vyaktamūrtiramūrtimān
The one who dispels the fear of the intoxicated demons, manifesting in a form that is formless.
शैलेन्द्रतनुजोत्सङ्गखेलनोत्सुकमानसः
śailēndratanujōtsaṅgakhēlanōtsukamānasaḥ
The son of the king of mountains, eager to play with the gathering of the mountains.
स्वलावण्यसुधासारजितमन्मथविग्रहः
svalāvaṇyasudhāsārajitamanmathavigrahaḥ
The embodiment of love, adorned with the nectar of beauty, the conqueror of Cupid.
समस्तजगदाधारो मायी मूषकवाहनः
samastajagadādhārō māyī mūṣakavāhanaḥ
The support of the entire universe, the one who is magical, riding on a mouse.
रमार्चितो विधिश्चैव श्रीकण्ठो विबुधेश्वरः
ramārcitō vidhiścaiva śrīkaṇṭhō vibudhēśvaraḥ
Worshipped by Rama, and also by the creator, he is the lord of the wise.
चिन्तामणिद्वीपपतिः परमात्मा गजाननः
cintāmaṇidvīpapatiḥ paramātmā gajānanaḥ
The lord of the wish-fulfilling gem island, the supreme soul, with the face of an elephant.
हृष्टस्तुष्टः प्रसन्नात्मा सर्वसिद्धिप्रदायकः
hr̥ṣṭastuṣṭaḥ prasannātmā sarvasiddhipradāyakaḥ
Joyful, content, and with a serene soul, he grants all accomplishments.
अष्टोत्तरशतेनैवं नाम्नां विघ्नेश्वरं विभुम्
aṣṭōttaraśatēnaivaṁ nāmnāṁ vighnēśvaraṁ vibhum
With the auspicious name of Vighneshvara, through this hundred and eight names,
यः पूजयेदनेनैव भक्त्या सिद्धिविनायकम्
yaḥ pūjayēdanēnaiva bhaktyā siddhivināyakam
One who worships with devotion, attains the Siddhivinayaka.
दूर्वादलैः बिल्वपत्रैः पुष्पैर्वा चन्दनाक्षतैः
dūrvādalaiḥ bilvapatraiḥ puṣpairvā candanākṣataiḥ
With durva grass, bilva leaves, or flowers, or sandalwood paste,
सर्वान्कामानवाप्नोति सर्वविघ्नैः प्रमुच्यते
sarvānkāmānavāpnōti sarvavighnaiḥ pramucyatē
One fulfills all desires and is freed from all obstacles.
इति भविष्योत्तरपुराणे विनायकाष्टोत्तरशतनाम स्तोत्रम्
iti bhaviṣyōttarapurāṇē vināyakāṣṭōttaraśatanāma stōtram
