Vakratunda Stotram

श्री गणेश स्तोत्राणि
ōṁ ōṁ ōṁkārarūpaṁ himakara ruciraṁ yatsvarūpaṁ turīyaṁ traiguṇyātītalīlaṁ kalayati manasā tējasōdāravr̥ttiḥ
Om, the form of Omkara, beautiful like the moon, whose essence is the transcendental state,
ओं ओं ओंकाररूपं हिमकर रुचिरं यत्स्वरूपं तुरीयं
yōgīndrā brahmarandhrē sahajaguṇamayaṁ śrīharēndraṁ svasañjñaṁ gaṁ gaṁ gaṁ gaṁ gaṇēśaṁ gajamukhamaniśaṁ vyāpakaṁ cintayanti
Beyond the play of the three gunas, the one who is contemplated by the mind, the source of brilliance.
त्रैगुण्यातीतलीलं कलयति मनसा तेजसोदारवृत्तिः । योगीन्द्रा ब्रह्मरन्ध्रे सहजगुणमयं श्रीहरेन्द्रं स्वसञ्ज्ञं
vaṁ vaṁ vaṁ vighnarājaṁ bhajati nijabhujē dakṣiṇē pāṇiśuṇḍaṁ krōṁ krōṁ krōṁ krōdhamudrādalitaripukulaṁ kalpavr̥kṣasya mūlē
O great yogis, in the Brahma aperture, the one who is naturally endowed with qualities, the Lord of all, the self-illuminated.
गं गं गं गं गणेशं गजमुखमनिशं व्यापकं चिन्तयन्ति ॥ १ ॥
daṁ daṁ daṁ dantamēkaṁ dadhatamabhimukhaṁ kāmadhēnvādisēvyaṁ dhaṁ dhaṁ dhaṁ dhārayantaṁ dadhatamatiśayaṁ siddhibuddhipradaṁ tam
The one who is always meditated upon, Ganesh, with an elephant face, all-pervading.
वं वं वं विघ्नराजं भजति निजभुजे दक्षिणे पाणिशुण्डं
tuṁ tuṁ tuṁ tuṅgarūpaṁ gaganamupagataṁ vyāpnuvantaṁ digantaṁ klīṁ klīṁ klīṁ kāmanāthaṁ galitamadadalaṁ lōlamattālimālam
The one who is worshipped by the right hand, the king of obstacles, with a curved trunk.
क्रों क्रों क्रों क्रोधमुद्रादलितरिपुकुलं कल्पवृक्षस्य मूले । दं दं दं दन्तमेकं दधतमभिमुखं कामधेन्वादिसेव्यं
hrīṁ hrīṁ hrīṁkārarūpaṁ sakalamunijanairdhyēyamuddikṣudaṇḍaṁ śrīṁ śrīṁ śrīṁ saṁśrayantaṁ nikhilanidhiphalaṁ naumi hērambalambam
The one who holds the mudra of anger, the enemy of the delusion of duality, at the root of the wish-fulfilling tree.
धं धं धं धारयन्तं दधतमतिशयं सिद्धिबुद्धिप्रदं तम् ॥ २ ॥
glauṁ glauṁ glauṁkāramādyaṁ praṇavamayamahāmantramuktāvalīnāṁ siddhaṁ vighnēśabījaṁ śaśikarasadr̥śaṁ yōgināṁ dhyānagamyam
The one who holds the single tusk, facing forward, worthy of service by the wish-fulfilling cow and others.
तुं तुं तुं तुङ्गरूपं गगनमुपगतं व्याप्नुवन्तं दिगन्तं
ḍāṁ ḍāṁ ḍāṁ ḍāmarūpaṁ dalitabhavabhayaṁ sūryakōṭiprakāśaṁ yaṁ yaṁ yaṁ yakṣarājaṁ japati munijanō bāhyamabhyantaraṁ ca
The one who supports all, bestowing success and intelligence, the one who is exceedingly great.
क्लीं क्लीं क्लीं कामनाथं गलितमददलं लोलमत्तालिमालम् । ह्रीं ह्रीं ह्रींकाररूपं सकलमुनिजनैर्ध्येयमुद्दिक्षुदण्डं
huṁ huṁ huṁ hēmavarṇaṁ śrutigaṇitaguṇaṁ śūrpakarṇaṁ kr̥pāluṁ dhyēyaṁ yaṁ sūryabimbē urasi ca vilasatsarpayajñōpavītam
The one who is of the form of the highest, pervading the directions, the one who encompasses the universe.
श्रीं श्रीं श्रीं संश्रयन्तं निखिलनिधिफलं नौमि हेरम्बलम्बम् ॥ ३ ॥
svāhā huṁ phaṭ samētaiṣṭha ṭha ṭha ṭha sahitaiḥ pallavaiḥ sēvyamānaṁ mantrāṇāṁ saptakōṭipraguṇita mahimadhyānamīśaṁ prapadyē
The Lord of desires, the one who is the essence of all, the one who is worshipped by all sages, the one who is the staff of the seekers.
ग्लौं ग्लौं ग्लौंकारमाद्यं प्रणवमयमहामन्त्रमुक्तावलीनां
pūrvaṁ pīṭhaṁ trikōṇaṁ tadupari ruciraṁ ṣaḍdalaṁ sūpapatraṁ tasyōrdhvaṁ baddharēkhā vasudalakamalaṁ bāhyatō:'dhaśca tasya
I bow to the one who is the source of all treasures, the one who is the embodiment of auspiciousness, the one who is the son of Parvati.
सिद्धं विघ्नेशबीजं शशिकरसदृशं योगिनां ध्यानगम्यम् । डां डां डां डामरूपं दलितभवभयं सूर्यकोटिप्रकाशं
madhyē huṅkārabījaṁ tadanu bhagavataścāṅgaṣaṭkaṁ ṣaḍasrē aṣṭau śaktyaśca siddhirvaṭugaṇapatērvakratuṇḍasya yantram
The primordial sound of Om, the great mantra, like a garland of pearls, is the seed of the Vighneshvara.
यं यं यं यक्षराजं जपति मुनिजनो बाह्यमभ्यन्तरं च ॥ ४ ॥
dharmādyaṣṭau prasiddhā diśi vidiśi gaṇānbāhyatō lōkapālān madhyē kṣētrādhināthaṁ munijanatilakaṁ mantramudrāpadēśam
The one who is like the moon, the one who is meditated upon by yogis.
हुं हुं हुं हेमवर्णं श्रुतिगणितगुणं शूर्पकर्णं कृपालुं
ēvaṁ yō bhaktiyuktō japati gaṇapatiṁ puṣpadhūpākṣatādyaiḥ naivēdyairmōdakānāṁ stutinaṭavilasadgītavāditranādaiḥ
The one who is in the form of a drum, dispelling the fear of existence, shining like a million suns.
ध्येयं यं सूर्यबिम्बे उरसि च विलसत्सर्पयज्ञोपवीतम् । स्वाहा हुं फट् समेतैष्ठ ठ ठ ठ सहितैः पल्लवैः सेव्यमानं
rājānastasya bhr̥tyā iva yuvatikulaṁ dāsavatsarvadāstē lakṣmīḥ sarvāṅgayuktā tyajati na sadanaṁ kiṅkarāḥ sarvalōkāḥ
Whosoever chants the name of the king of the Yakshas, both externally and internally,
मन्त्राणां सप्तकोटिप्रगुणित महिमध्यानमीशं प्रपद्ये ॥ ५ ॥
putrāḥ pautrāḥ prapautrā raṇabhuvi vijayō dyūtavādē pravīṇō yasyēśō vighnarājō nivasati hr̥dayē bhaktibhājāṁ sa dēvaḥ
The one who is golden in color, endowed with qualities as per the scriptures, compassionate and with large ears.
पूर्वं पीठं त्रिकोणं तदुपरि रुचिरं षड्दलं सूपपत्रं
iti śrīmacchaṅkarācāryakr̥ta vakratuṇḍa stōtram
The one who is meditated upon, who shines like the sun, adorned with the sacred thread of the fire sacrifice.
