Legend
Goddess Siddhidatri Durga, the ninth manifestation of Goddess Durga, is worshipped on the ninth day of Shardiya Navratri. She bestows a variety of siddhis on her followers. Numerous Puranic texts mention various Siddhis types.
A myth surrounding this manifestation of the Mother Goddess states that Lord Shiva worshipped Siddhidatri Durga Devi and acquired all of the Siddhis with her blessings. She is supposedly the apparition of the shapeless Adishakti who gave Mahadev Siddhi.
She is the one who bestows seekers with spiritual knowledge and provides them blessings. Half of Shiva took the form of a goddess. He goes under the name Ardha Narishwar as well.
Maa Siddhidatri has four hands. Lion is her mode of transportation. She’s sitting on a lotus flower. She holds a Chakra in her lower right hand, a mace/club in her upper right hand, a conch in her lower left hand, and a lotus flower in her upper left hand. Her disciples are freed from grief and receive salvation after experiencing all the world’s bliss.
