Bharat Mata Temple

Unlike other temples in Haridwar, such as Mansa Devi Haridwar, this temple is not visited solely by devotees but also by patriotic individuals. Notably, the inauguration of this Haridwar temple was graced by the former Prime Minister of India, Smt. Indira Gandhi.
Bharat Mata, symbolizing the concept of Mother India, is regarded as a sacred embodiment of devotion to the motherland. This sentiment is deeply ingrained in the hearts of Indian soldiers, who often exclaim "Bharat Mata ki Jai" or "Victory to Mother India." The temple itself comprises eight floors, with the first floor serving as the shrine to the Goddess. The subsequent floors are dedicated to showcasing the heroes of India, celebrated women of India, religions of India, the history of India, Goddess Shakti, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva. Each floor represents a unique aspect of the country's rich cultural heritage and heritage.
