According to Kashi Khand, an ancient Hindu text, Goddess Parvati expressed her desire to know more about the various Teerths and Shiv Lings in Kashi. Upon her humble request, Lord Shiva willingly described the significance of each Teerth and Shiv Ling, providing Parvati with a deeper understanding of their spiritual importance.
Timings
The place of worship is open from 06.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon and from 04.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. The timings may be flexible.
