Har Ki Pauri Ganga Temple

Among all the temples in Haridwar, the most captivating attraction for devotees is the opportunity to take a dip, known as "dupki," in the holy river. It is believed that this act washes away all the sins of the devotee, granting them a renewed chance to attain Moksha, liberation from the cycle of rebirth.
Another remarkable aspect that draws immense fame to this place is the Ganga Aarti, a ritual conducted in the evening. Typically taking place around 7:30 pm, numerous priests assemble with balls of fire, oil lamps, temple bells, and chants to pay homage to the sacred river. Despite the presence of numerous temples in Haridwar, people from all corners of the world come to witness this awe-inspiring ceremony, especially during the Kumbh Mela, a major pilgrimage and cultural event.
