Nestled 6 km away from Jaipur, the Ganesha temple, aptly named after the hill it stands upon, is known as Moti Dungri Temple. This temple derives its name from the fort that encircles the hills. The ancient idol within the temple, believed to be 500 years old, was brought all the way from Gujarat by Seth Jai Ram Pallival, accompanied by Maharaja Madho Singh of Udaipur. Pallival personally supervised the construction of this magnificent temple.
