Parvati Hill Temple

Legend has it that the current temple occupies the same spot where a smaller temple or shrine once stood. Nana Saheb's mother frequented this sacred site, seeking solace in prayer while battling an ailment. She made a vow to construct a grander temple once she recovered from her illness. Fulfilling her promise, Nana Saheb, the third Peshwa, erected the temple in its present form.
